Springbrook Expands Cirrus ERP Platform, Puts AI to Work for Local Government

AI-Ready When You Are: Springbrook Unveils Innovation Roadmap, featuring AI Invoicing, AI Permitting, AI-assisted Reporting, Conversational ERP, plus a Citizen Portal for residents and an expanded HCM Suite spanning the entire employee journey.

ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- This week in Orlando, Florida, Springbrook Software unveiled its Innovation Roadmap at Activate 2026, themed "Innovation Beyond Imagination." Reporting, ease of use, and support top the list of challenges for local governments everywhere, and Springbrook's roadmap raises the bar on all three. Customers had the opportunity to experience new and planned capabilities, including several AI features, at Activate, Springbrook's annual customer conference. Attendees were also invited to test-drive and offer live feedback on Springbrook's forthcoming innovations.

Outdated government technology puts public trust at risk. Springbrook's 2026 Citizen Trust and Digital Expectations Survey of over 1,000 U.S. residents found that people see it the same way. Springbrook's Innovation Roadmap gives agencies a way to modernize responsibly and protect that trust. Local governments and the residents they serve deserve technology solutions that can be implemented fast, are easy to use, and reliable. Springbrook's innovation roadmap prioritizes these areas, with AI-ready capabilities that are purpose-built for government and shaped by direct client feedback.

"America has more than 91,000 local governments, and they employ more than 14 million people. They rarely get the spotlight, but they run the communities people call home. That is who we build for. Teams that do a lot with a little. Every community we serve has access to technology and solutions that are purpose-built for them." Chris Dinkler, CEO, Springbrook Software

Shaped by Customers; Built for the Work They Do

Springbrook's Innovation Roadmap is shaped through ongoing interviews with finance directors, treasurers, and department heads, and it evolves with their feedback. Agencies can start with the ERP, payments, or both, and add more as their needs grow. Each new capability works with what they already run. Agencies turn them on when their teams are ready, and both work within the platform's existing logins and permissions.

"Everything on this roadmap started with a customer conversation. Finance directors, treasurers, and department heads showed us where their days get hard. We are building reporting you can talk to, AI that arrives when you are ready for it, and software that is easy to use, and we will keep listening as they tell us what comes next." Lindsey Artman, Chief Product Officer, Springbrook Software

AI-Ready When You Are

For most public sector organizations, AI depends on the cloud, and the data backs it up: 73 percent say their on-premises infrastructure is not fully ready for modern AI workloads, according to Nutanix's 2026 Public Sector Enterprise Cloud Index. Springbrook laid the cloud foundation for customers in 2021, delivering Cirrus as a multi-tenant SaaS platform with a real-time data layer that lets AI reason across finance, payments, payroll, community development, and asset management at once. Customers on Cirrus get each new AI feature on the platform they already run, with no disruptive upgrades or migrations.

Springbrook uses AI to build and deliver Cirrus features faster, and to give customers AI features they can adopt easily when they are ready. The company's latest AI innovations include AI Invoicing and AI Permitting, both available today. AI Invoicing reads incoming invoices, captures the details, and matches each one to its purchase order so accounts payable staff spend less time keying data. AI Permitting gives applicants advice on their application, checks applications for completeness, and performs a first review of the application content. In all situations, AI does the first pass and staff review and approve the result before anything is returned or approved.

Natural Language Reporting You Can Talk To

AI Invoicing and AI Permitting help staff get information into Cirrus. The reporting capabilities below will help them get answers out by asking in plain language instead of trial-and-error exports stitched together in Excel. They follow the same approach: AI does the first pass, staff stay in charge, and everything works within the platform's existing logins and permissions. Customers had the opportunity to preview both this week at Activate.

- New Reporting and Insights Module: Puts every report in one place. Staff can ask AI to build, find, or change a report, adjust reports by hand, and create their own dashboards.

- Conversational ERP: Users type what they need and go straight to the right record or report.

All workflows in Cirrus run on a governed data foundation that connects across finance, payments, and permitting at once, so every department works from the same data.

Ease of Use: Intuitive Products. Integrated Workflows.

For lean teams, the small stuff is the big stuff: a screen that shows more information, an invoice that finds its own purchase order, a case update that arrives before you ask. Staff often juggle systems that each have their own login, permissions, and look. Springbrook builds the login, permissions, payments, notifications, and design once and shares them across every product. Third-party and custom tools can run inside Cirrus the same way.

- Citizen Portal: Residents who need to pay a water bill, renew a license, and report a pothole can do all three in one place, with one sign-in. Utility payments support digital wallets and autopay, applications will be available online, and residents will be able to track each request. Everything connects to the Springbrook products staff already use. Now in preview.

- HCM Suite: HR for the entire employee journey, on one login: HR Core and Employee Self Service anchor it, add-on modules cover applicant tracking, onboarding, learning, and performance, and the newest module, Open Enrollment, feeds employee deductions straight into Cirrus Payroll with nothing to retype.

- Service Orders in Xpress Bill Pay: Residents submit utility service requests themselves, in the same portal where they make payments. For agencies that use Springbrook's Utility Billing, each request will appear directly in Cirrus, where staff can track and act on it without leaving the system they already use.

RICHMOND MUTUAL BANCORPORATION, INC. ANNOUNCES 2026 THIRD QUARTER FINANCIAL RESULTS

RICHMOND MUTUAL BANCORPORATION, INC. ANNOUNCES 2026 THIRD QUARTER FINANCIAL RESULTS

RICHMOND, Ind., Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Richmond Mutual Bancorporation, Inc., a Maryland corporation (the "Company") (NASDAQ: RMBI), parent company of First Bank Midwest, today reported net income of $1.7 million, or diluted earnings per share of $0.11, for the third quarter of 2026. This compares to net income of $2.2 million, or $0.22 diluted earnings per share, for the second quarter of 2026, and net income of $3.6 million, or diluted earnings per share of $0.36, for the third quarter of 2025.

The decrease in net income from the second quarter of 2026 and the third quarter of 2025 was primarily due to higher provision for credit losses, as well as noninterest expense. The provision for credit losses totaled $6.1 million during the third quarter of 2026, compared to $823,000 in the prior quarter and $269,000 in the third quarter of 2025. The increase in provision was primarily due to the need to replenish and increase the allowance for credit losses following $6.1 million of net charge-offs during the quarter, including a partial charge-off of $4.5 million on a nonaccruing commercial real estate loan, which was transferred to other real estate owned during the current quarter, and an $803,000 charge-off on a commercial and industrial loan, as well as an increase in non-performing loans. In addition, noninterest expense during the quarter included $3.0 million of nonrecurring merger-related expenses associated with the acquisition of Farmers Bancorp. These items were partially offset by a preliminary bargain purchase gain recognized on the Company's acquisition of Farmers Bancorp of $1.6 million.

Net income for the nine months ended September 30, 2026 was $6.8 million, or $0.56 diluted earnings per share, compared to net income of $8.2 million, or $0.82 diluted earnings per share, for the same period in 2025.

On July 1, 2026, the Company completed its previously announced merger with Farmers Bancorp pursuant to the Agreement and Plan of Merger dated November 11, 2025. Immediately thereafter, The Farmers Bank merged with and into First Bank Richmond. The combined company continues to operate as Richmond Mutual Bancorporation, Inc., while the combined bank is operating under the name First Bank Midwest. The combined company continues to trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker symbol "RMBI." The administrative headquarters of the holding company remains in Richmond, Indiana, while the combined bank is headquartered in Frankfort, Indiana.

The financial results presented in this earnings release reflect the Company's operations following the completion of the merger on July 1, 2026. Accordingly, the Company's financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, include the operating results of the combined company. Financial results for periods prior to July 1, 2026, reflect the operations of Richmond Mutual Bancorporation, Inc., on a standalone basis, and do not include the operations of Farmers Bancorp.

Message from the Chairman and CEO

Garry Kleer, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, commented, "Our third quarter results reflected the impact of our merger with Farmers Bancorp, which significantly expanded our balance sheet and increased net interest income compared to both the prior quarter and the third quarter of last year. Earnings were impacted by a higher provision for credit losses and increased noninterest expense. As we move forward, our focus remains on successfully integrating the two organizations, realizing the strategic benefits of the combination and continuing to serve our customers and communities."

Under the CBLR framework, qualifying institutions that maintain a leverage ratio of greater than 8.0% are deemed to satisfy applicable regulatory capital requirements and are no longer required to calculate risk-based capital ratios for regulatory reporting purposes.

Income Statement Summary

Net Interest Income. Net interest income before the provision for credit losses increased $11.6 million to $22.8 million in the third quarter of 2026, compared to $11.3 million in the third quarter of 2025. The increase was primarily attributable to the merger with Farmers Bancorp, which significantly expanded the Company's interest-earning assets and interest-bearing liabilities. The acquisition also impacted net interest income through the accretion and amortization of fair value adjustments recorded in connection with the transaction.

Annualized net interest margin was 3.68% for the third quarter of 2026, compared to 3.07% for the third quarter of 2025. The increase primarily reflected higher yields and average balances of interest-earning assets resulting from the loan portfolio acquired in the merger, as well as lower average funding costs and a higher volume of noninterest-bearing demand deposits.

Interest Income. Interest income increased $16.7 million to $38.6 million during the quarter ended September 30, 2026, compared to $21.8 million during the quarter ended September 30, 2025. The increase was primarily due to a $1.02 billion increase in the average balance of interest-earning assets, mainly as a result of the merger with Farmers Bancorp. The average yield on interest-earning assets was 6.20%, compared to 5.93% in the third quarter of 2025.

Interest income on loans and leases increased $14.6 million to $34.3 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, compared to $19.7 million in the third quarter of 2025. This increase was primarily due to an $831.9 million increase in the average balance of loans and leases, mainly reflecting loans acquired in the merger with Farmers Bancorp. The average yield earned on loans and leases was 6.79% as compared to 6.63% in the same quarter a year ago.

Interest income on investment securities, excluding FHLB stock, increased $1.3 million to $2.9 million during the quarter ended September 30, 2026, compared to the quarter ended September 30, 2025, due to a $110.5 million increase in the average balance of securities and a 66 basis point increase in the average yield to 3.25%. The increases were primarily due to securities acquired in the acquisition and the subsequent repositioning of the securities portfolio. Dividends on FHLB stock increased $203,000 to $517,000 during the quarter ended September 30, 2026, compared to the quarter ended September 30, 2025, primarily due to a $7.1 million increase in the average balance of FHLB stock held.

Interest income on cash and cash equivalents increased $623,000 to $826,000 during the quarter ended September 30, 2026, compared to the quarter ended September 30, 2025. The increase from the third quarter of 2025 was primarily due to increased cash balances maintained following the merger with Farmers Bancorp.

Interest Expense. Interest expense increased $5.2 million to $15.

1. EBITDA

Definition: Recurring operating income before depreciation and amortisation, excluding

non-recurring items. It corresponds to revenue less purchases, personnel expenses, external

expenses, provisions and other recurring operating expenses, plus reversals of provisions and

recurring operating income.

Methodology: EBITDA is calculated from the consolidated income statement by adding

depreciation, amortisation and impairment charges to recurring operating income and by

neutralising non-recurring items.

Link: EBITDA is calculated based on items from the consolidated income statement prepared in

accordance with IFRS.

Usefulness: To assess trends in operating performance over the medium term and to measure the

Group’s self-financing capacity.

In the absence of published interim financial statements as of the date of this press release, EBITDA

is presented as a management indicator derived from the accounting information currently

available. A detailed reconciliation with IFRS measures will be provided in the Half-Year Financial

Report to be published on August 30, 2026. The calculation principles remain unchanged from

those described in the 2025 Annual Financial Report (pages 16 and 17).

2. Profitability (EBITDA Margin)

Definition: EBITDA / Consolidated revenue.

Methodology: EBITDA margin = EBITDA / consolidated revenue.

Link: The components used to calculate the EBITDA margin (EBITDA and consolidated revenue)

are derived from the consolidated financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS.

Usefulness: To monitor operating profitability before depreciation and amortisation.

3. Organic growth at constant scope and exchange rates

Definition: Organic growth corresponds to the change in the Group’s revenue excluding scope

effects and exchange rate effects. Revenue from acquired or divested companies is excluded,

and exchange rate variations are neutralised. This indicator is an Alternative Performance Measure

not directly derived from financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS.

Methodology: The reference scope is that determined as at 31 December 2025. Figures are

adjusted to reflect this scope. Exchange rate effects are neutralised using average exchange rates

for the comparative period. Revenue from entities acquired or divested is excluded over the

entire compared period to ensure consistent comparability.

PEOPLE AT SWORD

“Making

deadlines.”

Meet

Elio Biffiger

Digital Marketing Intern

Elio joined Sword Switzerland in

November 2025 for a 6-month

internship, as part of his Master’s

degree at CREA Geneva, extended

for another six.

Alongside the marketing team, he

contributes to brand visibility and

communication initiatives,

applying what he learns in his

Master’s

to concrete projects.

1. What is your role

within Sword?

I create content for LinkedIn, newsletters

and marketing materials, posts, carousels,

visuals and partner announcements.

I manage Sword Switzerland’s

social

channels and editorial calendar.

I also run event communication end to

end: landing pages and registration in

HubSpot, invitations and follow-ups, visual

assets, and coordination with our partners.

Elio BIFFIGER

Digital Marketing Intern

2. Why did you join our

company?

I wanted a place where I would be given real

responsibility, not just watch from the side.

In a marketing team this size, you own your

projects from the first weeks.

Sword also sits in a world I knew nothing

about: SAP, data, cybersecurity.

Having to understand a subject before I can

write a single line about it has been the

steepest part of the curve and the most useful.

Elio BIFFIGER

Digital Marketing Intern

3. What did you like the

most about this adventure?

Working with people whose jobs I knew

nothing about a year ago: consultants,

engineers, sales teams. Every project starts

with understanding a new subject.

And events. Watching one go from a first

agenda draft to a confirmed programme,

a landing page and a guest list is where I’ve

learned the most.

Press Release

Windhof - October 22, 2026

ANALYSIS

Sword’s new growth model, resulting from the success of our AI transformation plan, is

delivering results above our expectations.

The strength of our backlog and the performance of our AI, resilience and cloud

offerings ensure the Group’s long-term sustainability.

Our business model is primarily based on organic growth.

Growth in the French-speaking region (Switzerland, France, Quebec) will be driven by

the development of Switzerland and Canada, but not France, as our acquisition objective

in France has been abandoned.

The Group’s M&A policy remains focused on “technology“ acquisitions.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE QUARTER

This quarter was marked by major contract signings with the European Union and large

Anglo-Saxon companies. These new contracts, combined with the Group’s new offerings,

strongly boosted organic growth. The Group is staying the course in the Middle East

despite the current context.

OUTLOOK

The Group confirms its 2026 annual targets, both in terms of organic growth and profitability.

Windhof - October 22, 2026

Appendix | Alternative Performance Measures (APMs)

In accordance with the ESMA Guidelines (ESMA/2015/1415), the Group presents below the

definitions, calculation methods, reconciliations with the financial statements and the rationale for

the usefulness of the main alternative performance measures used in this press release.

The terminology, definitions and calculation methods of these alternative performance measures

are applied consistently over time. They are identical to those used in the Group’s annual and

half-yearly publications.

1. EBITDA

Definition: The EBITDA margin is the ratio of EBITDA to consolidated revenue. EBITDA corresponds

to EBIT («Earnings before interest and taxes excluding non-recurring items» in the consolidated

income statement) plus depreciation and amortisation.

Methodology: EBITDA is a subtotal of the consolidated income statement («Earnings before

interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation excluding non-recurring items»). It is obtained by

adding depreciation and amortisation to EBIT. Non-recurring items are excluded, as they are

presented below EBIT.

Link with the financial statements: EBITDA and EBIT are presented as subtotals in the consolidated

income statement prepared in accordance with IFRS.

Usefulness: The EBITDA margin makes it possible to assess the Group’s medium-term performance

trend, excluding non-recurring costs. It also makes it possible to assess the Group’s ability to

generate cash from ordinary operations, i.e. its self-financing capacity.

Reconciliation: The Group does not prepare consolidated financial statements at 30 September.

In accordance with paragraph 31 of the ESMA Guidelines, EBITDA is therefore reconciled below

to EBIT, the most directly reconcilable aggregate in the consolidated financial statements. EBIT is

calculated and presented using the same principles as in the consolidated financial statements for

the 2025 financial year (2025 annual financial report, pages 16 and 17).

effects and currency effects. Revenue from acquired or divested companies is excluded, and

exchange rate fluctuations are neutralised. This indicator is an alternative performance measure

that is not directly derived from the financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS.

Methodology: The reference scope is that at 31 December 2025. Figures are restated to reflect

this scope. Currency effects are neutralised by applying the average exchange rates of the

comparison period. Revenue from acquired or divested entities is excluded over the entire

comparison period to ensure like-for-like comparability.

Server-Class Ethernet Merchant NIC Revenue Surges to Approach $5 Billion

Annualized Run-Rate in Q2 2024, Reports Crehan Research

Foundational/Performance NIC Revenue Increases Over 30%; DPU/IPU

SmartNIC Revenue Increases Over 50%

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, September 9, 2024 — Data center customers spent

strongly on merchant-built server-class Ethernet NICs (including adapters,

controllers and LOMs) in calendar Q2 2024 with total market revenues increasing

40% year-over-year, according to a recent report from Crehan Research. As a result,

revenues approached a $5 billion annualized run-rate. Foundational/Performance

Ethernet NICs and DPU/IPU Ethernet SmartNICs each had very strong year-over-

year revenue increases of over 30% and 50%, respectively. The numerous

concurrent Ethernet speed and technology upgrades have been a key contributor to

the strong market growth (see accompanying chart).

“The current server-class Ethernet NIC landscape is very different than what it was

in the past, with a lot more – and a lot faster – upgrade cycles to meet the needs of

very diverse customers and workloads,” said Seamus Crehan, president of Crehan

Research. “A decade ago, we had three Ethernet speeds and now we have almost

three times that amount, with numerous concurrent upgrades, resulting in a very

robust and dynamic market.”

In looking at the Q2 2024 Server-Class Ethernet NIC vendor results:

• Intel’s Foundational/Performance Ethernet NIC business delivered very

strong results, improving on its majority shipment share in this market

segment. Furthermore, Intel’s IPU business increased approximately 50%

sequentially as it continued to hold the top shipment and revenue share

position in the Merchant-Built DPU/IPU/SmartNIC category.

• Broadcom also delivered a strong increase in the Foundational/Performance

Ethernet NIC market and its Thor 2 AI optimized NICs are expected to drive

strong growth starting in 2H 2024.

• Nvidia posted very robust growth in the DPU/IPU/SmartNIC market on the

strength of its BlueField AI deployments.

"The emergence of the AI server networking opportunity has the potential to drive

significant Ethernet NIC market share shifts as we see faster upgrades, sudden

technology shifts and new customers emerge," Crehan said.

Branded Data Center Ethernet Switch Market Returns to Growth in Q3 2024

as 800GbE AI Deployments Ramp, Reports Crehan Research

Market Posts Record High Revenue Quarter

SAN FRANCISCO, December 6, 2024 — After two consecutive quarters of

decline, the branded data center Ethernet switch market returned to growth in

calendar Q3 2024. Total market revenues increased 7% year-over-year, reaching the

highest quarterly level to-date, according to the latest report from Crehan Research.

A key contributor to the growth was a strong ramp of 800 gigabit Ethernet (GbE)

data center switch deployments, providing the network fabric for AI compute

clusters. This strong

start

supports

the

expectation

that

800GbE will see the

fastest

ever

data

center Ethernet switch

speed

ramp

(see

accompanying chart).

“The data center Ethernet switch market year-over-year revenue growth was

particularly impressive, given the backlog order fulfillment that was still happening

a year ago following pandemic-related supply constraints,” said Seamus Crehan,

president of Crehan Research. “Generative AI networking investments are having a

rapid and meaningful market impact as cloud service providers deploy the highest

available Ethernet networking speeds to handle the bandwidth demands of these

workloads.”

In conjunction with these high-speed data center Ethernet switch deployments in AI

clusters, 400GbE NICs – the highest speed Ethernet NICs generally available up to

Q3 2024 – also posted very strong results during the quarter, with shipments growing

six-fold year-over-year due to large increases in both foundational/performance NIC

and DPU/IPU volumes.
