BCD Travel Data Breach Investigation: Edelson Lechtzin LLP Probes Class Action Claims After a Third-Party Attack Exposes Traveler Data
Image File
Original HTML

National class action law firm offers free, confidential case evaluations to BCD Travel travelers and others whose personal information may have been exposed.

NEWTOWN, Pa., Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Edelson Lechtzin LLP, a national class action law firm, is investigating data privacy claims arising from a data breach at BCD Travel Services B.V., a global business travel management company that provides travel management, consulting, and related services to corporate clients and their travelers. Anyone who received a breach notice or believes their information may have been exposed can request a free case evaluation.

What Happened

BCD Travel has notified affected individuals of a data security incident involving a third-party vulnerability that compromised personal information held in one of its applications. According to its notice, BCD Travel activated its cybersecurity incident response team, took the affected application offline, launched an in-depth investigation with third-party cybersecurity and forensic experts, implemented recommended security measures, and notified law enforcement. The company has said it remains fully operational and that, to date, it has not identified evidence that affected personal information has been misused.

The incident has drawn public attention after the threat-actor group ShinyHunters claimed responsibility in late May 2026 and threatened to leak more than 700,000 records unless the company met its demands. News coverage reports that the breach exposed personal data belonging to about 700,000 customers.

What Information Was Exposed

According to BCD Travel, the personal information involved may include:

- Name and date of birth

- Email address and telephone number

- Emergency contact details

- Credit card details

- Frequent flyer and loyalty program numbers

- TSA or Trusted Traveler numbers

- Passport or ID numbers

- Travel itineraries

Because this information includes financial, identification, and travel details, the exposure creates a heightened risk of identity theft, payment fraud, and targeted phishing for affected individuals.

Who May Be Affected

The investigation focuses on travelers whose personal information BCD Travel held in connection with the travel services it provides to corporate clients. BCD Travel is offering affected individuals one year of complimentary credit and identity fraud monitoring through Experian; eligible individuals can enroll using the activation code in their notification letter by the deadline stated in that letter.

Your Legal Options

Edelson Lechtzin LLP is investigating a potential class action on behalf of individuals whose data may have been compromised. A successful case could recover compensation for losses such as lost time, out-of-pocket costs, and loss of privacy, and could press BCD Travel to strengthen its data protection. The firm evaluates claims at no cost.

Recommended Steps to Protect Yourself

- Watch for the notice from BCD Travel and keep the enclosed activation code for the complimentary Experian monitoring being offered.

- Review your payment card and account statements closely, and stay alert for phishing emails, texts, or calls that reference your travel.

- Place a free fraud alert or credit freeze with Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion, obtain your free reports at AnnualCreditReport.com, and report suspected identity theft to the Federal Trade Commission at IdentityTheft.gov.

About Actinium Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Actinium is a pioneer in targeted radiotherapies designed to improve outcomes for patients with cancer. The company employs a biology-driven approach to develop differentiated radiopharmaceuticals for solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. Its mission is to transform cancer treatment through innovative radioconjugates that maximize therapeutic efficacy while minimizing toxicity to healthy tissue by combining expertise in tumor biology, translational medicine, and radiochemistry. Since inception, Actinium has focused on developing innovative radiotherapies. Its pipeline reflects this strategy across three areas: (1) solid tumor therapeutics including ATNM-400 and Actimab-A with pan-tumor potential; (2) Actimab-A as a therapeutic backbone for acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) in collaboration with the National Cancer Institute (NCI); and (3) targeted conditioning agents including Iomab-B for bone marrow transplant and Iomab-ACT for cell and gene therapy conditioning. ATNM-400 targets a novel antigen distinct from PSMA and has demonstrated preclinical activity across metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and breast cancer, and is being evaluated in a first-in-human Phase 1 study in mCRPC. Actimab-A has shown improved survival in relapsed/refractory AML with CLAG-M and is advancing toward a Phase 2/3 trial, with additional development ongoing through a CRADA with the NCI. Actinium is also advancing preclinical solid tumor programs and holds ~250 patents and patent applications, including intellectual property related to cyclotron-based production of Ac-225. Acquisition expands Principle's bedside imaging services for long-term care providers in Missouri and Illinois
Image File
Original HTML

HOUSTON, Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Principle Health Systems, a major provider of mobile diagnostic services to long-term care facilities across the Southern and Central United States, announced the acquisition of select assets from a mobile diagnostic imaging company serving the greater St. Louis, Missouri and surrounding areas. The transaction extends Principle's portable imaging services into a new metropolitan market and adds bedside X-ray, ultrasound and EKG capabilities for long-term care partners across the region.

The acquisition brings experienced imaging technologists, mobile equipment and established facility relationships into Principle's operations. Facilities in the area can expect continuity of the bedside service they rely on today, now backed by Principle's scheduling, reporting and support infrastructure. By keeping diagnostic imaging inside the facility, Principle enables care teams to act on results sooner, avoid unnecessary resident transports, and keep diagnostic workflows simple for facility staff.

James Dieter, CEO of Principle Health Systems, commented on the acquisition: "This acquisition gives us a strong presence in the Missouri and Illinois areas and brings on a team of technologists who already know these facilities and the residents they serve. Our first priority is a seamless transition, with no interruption in care for our partners. From there, we look forward to bringing the same responsiveness, clinical quality and standard of excellence our clients have come to expect from Principle."

The acquisition also advances Principle's role as a single-source diagnostic partner for long-term care. In addition to portable imaging, Principle provides mobile laboratory services, so facilities can rely on one experienced team for both their laboratory and imaging needs. As its regional presence grows, Principle continues to reduce vendor complexity while improving the experience for residents, families and care teams.

This transaction is part of Principle Health Systems' ongoing strategy to expand into new markets, broaden service capabilities, deepen support for long-term care partners, and continue building a scalable, quality-obsessed mobile diagnostics platform.

About Principle Health Systems

Artificial Grass Creates a PGA-Caliber Luxury Putting Green for Texas Home
Image File
Original HTML

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Golf enthusiasts know that nothing compares to the smooth, fast roll of a well-maintained country club green. However, keeping natural grass in playable condition is a constant challenge just about anywhere in the country, and especially in Texas, where weather fluctuates throughout the year from scorching summers to freezing winters. That's why many Texas homeowners are choosing synthetic grass for their backyard putting greens, enjoying consistent playability all year long with less maintenance and water use. One Austin, TX, family turned to LawnPop to bring their country club experience home, creating a luxury putting green that they could enjoy worry-free year-round.

LawnPop recently installed 4,800 square feet of Synthetic Grass Warehouse's True Putt in a home in Austin, TX. TigerTurf True Putt features a field green blade tone in a slit-film polypropylene material, and it has a pile height of 1 inch. With a 35-ounce face weight and a total weight of 62 ounces per square yard, True Putt was developed with ultimate ball control to provide PGA performance levels and high green speeds. It features a K29 triple-layered, non-expansive backing for superior seam strength and stability, making it ideal for professional-grade residential and commercial putting greens. True Putt, like all SGW synthetic grass products, is manufactured with UV inhibitors for long-lasting color that won't fade with extended exposure to sunlight, and is non-toxic and lead-free.

LawnPop's clients are country club members who wanted a true golf complex that matched the quality of a PGA-caliber putting green. They were seeking a green that rolled at 11.5 to 12 on the stimp and could receive approach shots from 20 to 140 yards out, allowing the ball to check up like it would on a real green. To achieve a professional-grade putting green, LawnPop recommended SGW's True Putt to their client "for the professional putting green outcome it provides to act like a true green," said LawnPop owner Angie Shepard.

The clients also wanted the putting green next to their pool, so LawnPop brought in over 10 feet of backfill to reach the desired height for the layout. "We designed and built a custom steel retaining wall to achieve this goal," said Shepard. With teenage kids and friends often gathered by the pool, the new luxury putting green complex will be a highlight of the family's entertaining for years to come.

LawnPop was founded in 2010 by co-owners Angie and Tanner Shepard to provide a low-maintenance solution for Texas families dealing with droughts and water restrictions throughout the year. The family-owned and operated company has since become nationally recognized for its luxury golf greens, featuring handcrafted, artificial white turf bunkers.

"Each design is unique and custom to fit the site," says Shepard. "We shape and hand-sculpt with meticulous art direction on site. They have become works of art with professional playability." Glance Releases Practical Guide for AI-to-Human Customer Service

New guide shows CX leaders how to close the AI-to-human handoff gap, as 76% of consumers say they get frustrated by repeating themselves when switching channels

WAKEFIELD, Mass., Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Glance, the leader in enterprise cobrowse and guided customer experience, today released The Human Edge in AI Customer Service, a new guide making the human-in-the-loop case for visual engagement in an AI-first support stack. The guide gives leaders in customer experience, customer support and digital product a practical framework for deciding where AI should handle the work, where human experts should step in, and how to connect the two without forcing customers to start over.

Industry leaders expect AI to touch virtually every customer interaction. Yet the moment a customer needs a person remains one of the weakest points in the journey. According to the Glance 2026 Customer Experience Trends Report, 44% of consumers say they almost always have to repeat themselves when switching channels, while only 7% say they rarely or never do. Survey respondents described being stuck in an "endless loop" with AI when they needed a human.

"AI is now the front door to customer service, and that's a good thing for the normal routine things that we consumers need done," said Adam Atwood, CMO at Glance. "But the interactions that matter mostâa mortgage application stalled on one confusing question, applying for a small business loan, or Medicare enrollmentâstill need a human expert. The question isn't AI or people. It's whether the handoff between them preserves context that helps the customer achieve their goal. This guide shows CX leaders how to design for continuity instead of escalation."

The guide covers:

- Why AI elevates the human role rather than replacing it. As automation absorbs routine requests, the conversations reaching live agents grow more complex, making expert judgment more valuable.

- The broken handoff problem. A side-by-side look at weak versus strong AI handoffs, and why transferring context matters more than transferring the conversation.

- Measuring resolution, not deflection. Outcome-based questions CX leaders are using to evaluate AI: first-contact resolution, customer effort, and whether the AI-to-human transition felt seamless.

The guide also features customer snapshots from medium to large enterprises in Financial Services, SaaS and Healthcare.

SMTC Recognized with Frost & Sullivan's 2026 North America Company of the Year Recognition for Mid-tier Electronic Manufacturing Services

SMTC Recognized with Frost & Sullivan's 2026 North America Company of the Year Recognition for Mid-tier Electronic Manufacturing Services

SMTC is redefining the value of a mid-sized EMS partner by combining responsive customer engagement, Tier 1 capabilities, and a resilient North American operating network.

SAN ANTONIO, Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- As original equipment manufacturers (OEM) place greater emphasis on supply chain resilience, regionalized production, and faster response to changing market conditions, the role of electronic manufacturing services (EMS) providers is evolving. Frost & Sullivan recognizes SMTC with the 2026 North America Company of the Year Recognition in the Mid-tier Electronic Manufacturing Services industry for its strong performance across strategy effectiveness and strategy execution. SMTC's ability to work directly with customer decision-makers from the outset enables faster action, collaborative problem-solving, and closer alignment throughout engagements. This customer-centric approach, combined with a strategically positioned North American operating network and broad end-to-end manufacturing capabilities, strengthens the company's ability to respond to complex customer requirements while supporting speed, flexibility, and supply chain continuity.

"SMTC differentiates itself from competitors by combining the flexibility and responsiveness of a smaller EMS company with many of the capabilities typically associated with a larger Tier 1 company. A key part of this advantage comes from its ability to work directly with customer decision-makers from the outset, which supports faster action, more collaborative problem-solving, and closer alignment throughout the engagement," said Sujan Sami, Senior Research Director, Frost & Sullivan.

SMTC's strategy is built around providing customers with comprehensive manufacturing support while maintaining the agility needed to respond to changing market conditions. Headquartered in Melbourne, Florida, the company provides a abroad manufacturing footprint across North America and supports customers in aerospace/defense/security, medical and life sciences, advanced computing, robotics, and power and smart infrastructure. Its end-to-end capabilities encompass new product introduction (NPI), printed circuit board assembly, systems integration, testing, supply chain management, and other higher-value manufacturing services.

Innovation and operational flexibility remain central to SMTC's approach. The company supports customers through complex production requirements, including factory transfers, operational transitions, and tariff-related supply chain decisions. Its ability to combine high-touch customer engagement with manufacturing depth allows customers to access the personalized support of a mid-sized provider without sacrificing the capabilities required for complex programs.

"We are honored to receive this award for the third year in a row. Our team members work tirelessly to exceed our customer's expectations with excellence every minute of every day. It is through teamwork and collaboration, built on our purpose to enhance people's lives and our world every day, that drives us to deliver in partnership with our customer needs", said Mike Buseman, CEO at SMTC.

SMTC's North American operating network further strengthens its competitive position. The company's footprint includes manufacturing facilities, procurement and logistics centers, return merchandise authorization (RMA), refurbish and repair centers, design and engineering centers, wire cable and harnesses, and a metal fabrication center across key regions. This integrated model helps reduce handoffs, support smoother production transfers, and create greater continuity from product introduction through fulfillment and repair. SMTC can also shift production between sites, adjust capacity as demand changes, and help customers move manufacturing closer to key end markets.

Beyond manufacturing execution, SMTC creates customer value through value engineering, supply chain expertise, and disciplined production processes. Its capabilities are designed to reduce lead times and material costs, improve assembly efficiency, strengthen test coverage, and minimize scrap, rework, and field failures. Structured NPI processes, project simulations, stage gates, and Customer Focus Teams provide customers with greater visibility and support throughout the transition from concept to production.

The company's approach also contributes to strong customer relationships. SMTC emphasizes transparent communication, responsiveness, and partnership throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, with many customer relationships extending for more than 20 years. This longevity demonstrates the value customers place on SMTC's ability to provide dependable support, address challenges with urgency, and adapt alongside evolving production requirements.

Frost & Sullivan commends SMTC for establishing a differentiated position within the mid-tier electronic manufacturing services industry. By combining customer intimacy and responsiveness with Tier 1 capabilities, a resilient North American footprint, and comprehensive manufacturing expertise, the company is well positioned to help OEMs navigate increasingly complex supply chain and production environments.

Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents the Company of the Year Award to a company that demonstrates outstanding strategy development and implementation, resulting in measurable improvements in market share, customer satisfaction, and competitive positioning. The award recognizes forward-thinking organizations that are reshaping their industries through innovation and growth excellence.

Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Recognition

Frost & Sullivan's Best Practices Recognitions honor companies across regional and global markets that exhibit exceptional achievement and consistent excellence in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer experience, and strategic product development. Each recognition is the result of a rigorous analytical process in which Frost & Sullivan industry experts benchmark performance through comprehensive interviews, deep-dive analysis, and extensive secondary research. The goal is to identify true best-in-class organizations that are driving transformative growth and setting new industry standards.

NFL Player Prop Bets for Week 8 from Adam Burke

NFL Player Props

With one game in the books and four teams on a bye, we have 13 games worth of props to examine here in Week 8. It is surprising how tame the weather is going to be around the country with November here, as the only hotspots are really in Florida, as rain and wind are in the mix for Tampa, Jacksonville, and Miami. Otherwise, there won’t be a lot of wind or anything else to alter the gameplans of the coaches.

This may seem like an insulting comment to make, but keep in mind that both sides of a prop line are available to play. A lot of bettors only take the Over to root for what they want to happen. Sometimes the Under is going to be a much more valuable position to take, especially when thinking about a player who may already be going into a game hobbled.

VSiN Pro Subscribers have access to our OptaAI NFL Player Prop Projections — I’ve looked through those and also looked over what the sportsbooks have to offer to find some of my favorite props for Week 8.

I’ve got my First Touchdown Scorer picks here.

As always, shop around for these Week 8 NFL Player Props. Lines are as of 2:50 p.m. PT on Friday, October 30 and are from DraftKings.

Here are my favorite Week 8 NFL Player Prop Bets:

Bhayshul Tuten (JAX) Over 15.5 Rush Attempts (+104)

The Colts already came into the week 31st in yards per carry allowed, a number that probably won’t get better without DeForest Buckner. Also, trading away Quenton Nelson could have some ramifications for the defense as well, as the offense may have a tougher time staying on the field.

There are a few things in Tuten’s favor here. The first is the weather. With rain, wind, and a poor run defense, Liam Coen will probably be excited about trying to run the rock here. Second, the projected game state with a double-digit favorite should also be conducive to the opportunity for some extra carries. Third, the Jaguars have only averaged 112.8 rushing yards per game and 4.1 yards per carry. Coming off of the bye, I have to think that Coen and his coaches have considered more ways to get the ground game involved.

After all, per RBSDM, this running game is eighth in Rush Success Rate and ninth in Rush EPA. Given that this is a top-five team in Dropback EPA, Coen’s focus was likely looking for creative ways to get more out of the backs, including Tuten.

OptaAI projects Tuten for 13.84 carries.

Jameson Williams (DET) Under 53.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

Williams has actually gone Under this total in four of six games thus far, though he has gone Over in two of the last three. But he’s averaging an average depth of target of 14.7 yards on his 38 targets with 23 catches. He also has five of the team’s eight drops.

This week, the Lions draw the Vikings and Brian Flores’ blitz-happy defense. Per Pro-Football-Reference, the Vikings have applied pressure on 35.7% of opponents’ dropbacks and have blitzed 140 times with a 67.6% Blitz%. Only the Seahawks have allowed fewer air yards and only the Panthers have allowed fewer yards after the catch.

In six career games against the Vikings, Williams has had 41, 43, -4, 34, 66, and 37 receiving yards. In the one game where he went Over, he had a 90.6% snap share, which was 14th-highest in his career. I’m not sure we’ll see that heavy of a workload here.

OptaAI projects Williams for 43.12 receiving yards.

Jonah Coleman (DEN) Under 47.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Coleman had nine carries for 54 yards last week against the Cardinals, as he saw game action for the first time in over a month. He had 10 carries for 39 yards against the Jaguars earlier in the year. The Broncos never trailed in last week’s game, though, and that may not be the case this week.

Coleman did heavily out-snap J.K. Dobbins 30-14, as even RJ Harvey had more snaps than Dobbins. I think we’ll see more of the veteran here, though. The Chiefs are third in Rush Success Rate against and sixth in Rush EPA. Conversely, the Cardinals are 20th in Rush Success Rate against.

Maybe Coleman has just gotten more favor from Sean Payton with some good practice days, as the 5-foot-8 runner out of Washington was taken in the fourth round of the April draft. It’s easy to put him out there against Arizona. It’s not as easy to put him out there against KC.

OptaAI projects Coleman for 9.89 rushing yards, but he has only really played two games.

Millennium Dental Technologies and Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry Mourn Passing of Professor Raymond A. Yukna, DMD, MS (1942-2026)

CERRITOS, Calif., Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- It is with profound sadness that Millennium Dental Technologies and the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry (IALD) mourn the passing of Professor Raymond A. Yukna, DMD, MS, world-renowned clinician, educator, researcher, mentor and cherished friend.

Throughout a remarkable career spanning academia, research, clinical practice and education, Dr. Yukna earned the admiration of colleagues worldwide for his unwavering commitment to scientific inquiry, clinical excellence and the advancement of patient care.

A Diplomate of both the American Board of Periodontology and the American Board of Oral Medicine, Professor of Advanced Periodontal Therapies at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, Professor Emeritus at Louisiana State University, internationally recognized lecturer, and respected researcher, Dr. Yukna devoted his life to advancing the field of periodontics. His contributions helped shape modern periodontal therapy and influenced generations of clinicians, educators, and researchers worldwide.

His reputation for integrity, scientific rigor and thoughtful leadership made him one of the most trusted and respected voices in the specialty.

A DEFINING CHAPTER IN THE HISTORY OF THE LANAP® PROTOCOL

Dr. Yukna brought credibility, intellectual curiosity and scientific discipline that would help shape the future of the LANAP® protocol, a minimally invasive laser treatment for the treatment of moderate to severe periodontal disease. He engaged in thoughtful dialogue with Millennium Dental Technologies Co-Founders Robert H. Gregg II, DDS, and Delwin K. McCarthy, DDS, regarding the emerging science behind laser-assisted periodontal regeneration.

His groundbreaking research provided some of the earliest and most influential human histological evidence supporting the LANAP® protocol. Beginning with his International Association for Dental Research (IADR) abstract in 2003, followed by the submission of his landmark study to the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry (IJPRD) in 2006 and its publication in 2007, Dr. Yukna produced research that became a defining milestone in the scientific validation of the LANAP® protocol. His work demonstrated cementum-mediated new connective tissue attachment in humans and provided the periodontal community with compelling evidence supporting the protocol's regenerative potential.

At a time when laser periodontal therapy was met with understandable skepticism by many within the specialty, Dr. Yukna's willingness to objectively evaluate the scienceâand ultimately contribute his own landmark researchâgave the LANAP® protocol a level of scientific credibility that helped change its trajectory. Many periodontists first embraced the LANAP® protocol because they trusted Dr. Yukna's scientific integrity and respected his commitment to evidence-based dentistry.

His landmark study opened the door to broader acceptance of the LANAP® protocol within periodontics and laid the foundation for additional human histological studies, expanded university research efforts, and more than two decades of continued scientific investigation. The growing body of evidence supporting the LANAP® protocol today owes much to the foundation Dr. Yukna helped establish.

A TEACHER WHO SHAPED A GENERATION

Dr. Yukna's influence extended far beyond the published literature. As an IALD Certified Instructor, he became one of the most influential educators in the history of the LANAP® protocol. He served as hands-on clinical instructor for approximately 350 LANAP-trained clinicians and lectured at roughly 130 Laser BootCampsâ¢, helping educate well over 1,000 clinicians throughout his years with the IALD and Millennium Dental Technologies.

From the Denver BootCamps⢠held during his tenure at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine to sessions conducted throughout New York and, later, at the facility in Cerritos, Dr. Yukna's lectures, mentorship and quiet confidence inspired countless clinicians. His generosity in sharing his knowledge, his thoughtful guidance and his commitment to excellence helped shape the careers of an entire generation of LANAP clinicians.

A CHERISHED FRIEND

Beyond his extraordinary professional accomplishments was an even more extraordinary person. For Robert H. Gregg II, DDS and Dawn Gregg, DDS, Dr. Yukna and his wife, Charlotte, were not simply respected colleagues, they were dear friends. Over many years, they shared milestones, celebrated successes, supported one another through challenges and built a friendship that extended far beyond dentistry. In fact, when Dr. Robert Gregg and Dr. Dawn Gregg began their lives together as a couple, Dr. Yukna and Charlotte were among the very first people they chose to tell in personâreflecting the trust, respect and affection they shared.

Those privileged to know Dr. Yukna personally will remember far more than his curriculum vitae. They will remember his humility, kindness, generosity, wisdom, quiet confidence and unwavering integrity. He challenged those around him to pursue excellence, to follow the science wherever it led, and to never lose sight of the patients whose lives could be changed through innovation grounded in evidence.

HIS LEGACY LIVES ON

The LANAP® community, the periodontal profession, the IALD and the entire Millennium Dental Technologies family are better because of Dr. Yukna's contributions.

His legacy lives on through the science he advanced, the clinicians he trained, the patients whose lives were improved by his work, and the countless colleagues and friends he inspired throughout his remarkable career.

Millennium Dental Technologies and the IALD extends deepest condolences to Charlotte and Dr. Yukna's family, friends, colleagues, students and all those whose lives he touched.

Thank you, Dr. Yukna, for your leadership, your scholarship, your mentorship, your friendship, and your unwavering belief that scientific excellence could improve the lives of patients around the world.
