Planbare Verfahren, zentrale Datenschutzaufsicht

TORONTO, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Tully Luxury Travel (Tully), a leading luxury travel advisory firm and trusted authority in global luxury travel, today announced the appointment of Steven Salm as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding founder Mary Jean Tully. After nearly four decades, Mary Jean has stepped down as CEO. She will continue to represent Tully as Brand Ambassador, remaining an important part of the company's future.

Salm's appointment marks a natural evolution for Tully, building on the relationships and expertise that have long defined the company. He joined the firm last year as Chief Operating Officer and steps into the role with deep respect for the values Mary Jean instilled: personal relationships, genuine care for every client, and firsthand knowledge of the world.

"It is a privilege to take on this role. "Travel is one of the most meaningful parts of people's lives, and at its best it brings desire, emotion, and expertise together in a single trusted relationship."

The appointment was made by the firm's Executive Chairman and majority shareholder, Clive Jacobs, who will work closely with Salm as Tully enters its next phase of growth. Together, Jacobs and Salm will set the company's long-term strategy, with Salm, as CEO, leading its day-to-day operations and growth. Salm has acquired Mary Jean's remaining shareholding, joining Jacobs as an owner of the business.

"Steven has proven in a short time that he is exactly the leader this company needs for its next chapter," said Jacobs. "He brings a rare combination of entrepreneurial vision, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of luxury hospitality, making him exceptionally well suited to lead Tully forward. As Executive Chairman, I remain fully committed to Tully and deeply involved in its future. I look forward to partnering with Steven as he leads the day-to-day business and we work together to further elevate the personalized service and expertise that have long distinguished Tully."

"I've known Steven for many years and have tremendous confidence in his leadership. He understands what makes Tully special and shares the values and commitment to excellence on which this company was founded. He will honor and build upon that legacy while taking great care of our people, our clients, and the relationships we've nurtured. Three Generations, One Adventure: Backroads Brings Families Together This Winter

A new take on winter break: family holiday bookings rise nearly 20 percent as more travelers choose adventures across generations

BERKELEY, Calif., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- This winter, Backroads is inviting kids, parents and grandparents to try something new together, from surfing in Costa Rica and exploring Iceland's ice caves to ice skating and curling in the Canadian Rockies.

Backroads, the global leader in active travel, reports that family holiday bookings are up nearly 20 percent in 2026 compared to 2025. More families are choosing shared adventure over traditional gifts, bringing generations together outdoors and creating memories that last far beyond the holidays. Early bookings for 2027 also point to strong demand, particularly for Kids & Teens trips, which are seeing significant year-over-year growth.

Trips for Families with Kids & Teens and Families with Teens & 20s bring together families with kids of a similar age. Kids & Teens trips include kid-focused activities led by a dedicated Kids Adventure Leader, giving younger travelers their own adventures while adults enjoy time to explore and connect. Teens & 20s trips offer the classic Backroads experience, with the added benefit of traveling alongside other families with young adults. And like all Backroads trips, every adventure is thoughtfully planned from start to finish, with seamless support that includes activities, transportation, accommodations and meals.

An active family vacation doesn't require everyone to cover the same distance or reach the highest summit. With daily route options for every ability level and support from Trip Leaders, family members can set out together or choose different levels of challenge, then reunite to trade stories. Grandparents might opt for the longer, all-day hike while teenagers choose the shorter hike and the afternoon hanging out together at the pool. Whatever path they take, they're still sharing the adventure.

"What I love about a family trip is that you get to see each other a little differently," said Tom Hale, Founder, President and CEO of Backroads. "You see someone try something they weren't sure they could do. You laugh about the things that didn't go quite as planned. Years later, you're still talking about it. When you give your family a trip, you're giving them something to look forward toâand something to look back on together."

Backroads' Top Seven Holiday Escapes for Active Families

- Costa Rica

Whether it's their first wave or their 50th, surfing gives families a chance to cheer each other on ⦠or laugh together over a wipeout. Families also spot sloths and monkeys, raft the Savegre River and soak in hot springs beneath Arenal Volcano.

- Argentina's Patagonia Lake District

The holiday table looks different when everyone is learning to make empanadas. Winter break falls during Patagonia's summer, the perfect time for kayaking on mountain lakes, horseback riding through the backcountry and hiking to glacier-fed blue lagoons.

- Hawaii's Big Island

Exploring a lava tube can spark curiosity across generations. Families go deep into the Big Island's volcanic landscapes and local culture, bike tropical coastlines and take to the water for kayaking and snorkeling.

- Vietnam

Far from familiar routines, families have new stories to share as they bike past emerald rice paddies, browse bustling markets and cruise among Halong Bay's limestone karsts, immersed in the daily rhythms of the Mekong Delta and the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An.

- Iceland

In Iceland, winter doesn't keep families inside. Glacier walks, ice caves and frozen waterfalls bring nature into close view, while the possibility of northern lights gives everyone a reason to keep looking up.

- Santa Barbara & the Channel Islands

For a getaway closer to home, families can trade screen time for days outdoors. They kayak around Santa Cruz Island, bike the coast and rolling hills of Los Padres National Forest, then unwind together at family-friendly hotels.

- Canadian Rockies

From gliding across the ice at the historic Post Hotel to searching for moose tracks in Kootenay National Park and snowshoeing through snow-covered forests and peaks, families share classic winter experiences while creating new holiday traditions together.

Giving the Gift of Family Travel

For families looking beyond traditional gifts, a trip offers something to anticipate together long before the bags are packed. Backroads Gift Certificates can be purchased in any amount and applied toward the recipient's choice of a Backroads Biking, Hiking & Walking or Multi-Adventure Trip. With no expiration date, they give families the flexibility to choose the adventure and timing that fit them best, whether that's winter break, spring break or summer vacation.

HelloNation Features Banking Expert Jayda Moore on How to Choose Checking Account Features That Fit Your Lifestyle
Image File
Original HTML

The article highlights the account features that can simplify everyday banking while supporting long-term financial goals.

HATTIESBURG, Miss., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- How do you choose a checking account that fits your lifestyle?

HelloNation answers that question in an article featuring insights from Banking Expert Jayda Moore of PriorityOne Bank. The article explains how selecting the right checking account starts with understanding daily financial habits and identifying the features that provide the greatest convenience and long-term value.

The HelloNation article explains that while many checking account options offer similar basic services, the features available can vary significantly. Some customers prioritize digital convenience, while others focus on minimizing costs or earning rewards. Evaluating how money is managed each day helps customers select a checking account that aligns with both their lifestyle and financial goals.

One of the first considerations discussed in the article is digital access. Many people rely on online banking to review balances, transfer funds, pay bills, and monitor transactions without visiting a branch. Reliable online banking allows customers to manage finances whenever it is convenient, making routine banking tasks faster and more efficient.

For customers who frequently use smartphones, the article highlights the importance of mobile banking. Mobile banking applications often allow users to receive balance alerts, transfer money, manage debit cards, and review account activity from virtually anywhere. Many institutions also offer mobile deposit, allowing customers to deposit checks by taking a photograph through the bank's app. Together, mobile banking and mobile deposit reduce the need for branch visits while making everyday banking more convenient.

The article also encourages customers to review account fees carefully before opening a new checking account. Monthly maintenance charges, overdraft fees, and minimum balance requirements vary by institution. Choosing an account with low fees that reflects personal banking habits can help reduce unnecessary expenses while supporting better financial management over time.

Budgeting support is another important feature highlighted in the article. Many checking account options now include budgeting tools that organize transactions, categorize spending, send alerts, and provide summaries of monthly expenses. These budgeting tools help customers better understand spending patterns, monitor recurring payments, and stay focused on their financial goals throughout the month.

Some customers may also benefit from rewards checking. According to the article, rewards checking programs may offer incentives such as cash back, interest earnings, or other benefits when qualifying account activity is maintained. Reviewing program requirements helps customers determine whether rewards checking aligns with their typical banking habits before selecting an account.

The article also notes that working with a community bank offers advantages beyond account features alone. A community bank often takes time to understand each customer's financial needs and recommends banking solutions based on lifestyle, spending habits, and future goals. This personalized guidance can be especially valuable for first-time account holders or individuals reevaluating their banking needs after major life changes.

The article concludes that financial priorities naturally evolve over time, making it worthwhile to periodically review checking account features. Whether the priority is online banking, mobile banking, mobile deposit, budgeting tools, rewards checking, low fees, or personalized service from a community bank, selecting an account that matches everyday financial habits can simplify money management and support long-term financial confidence.

Choosing Checking Account Features That Fit Your Lifestyle features insights from Jayda Moore, Banking Expert of Hattiesburg, MS, in HelloNation.

Aspire Fiber Closes New Credit Facility and Increases Equity Commitments to Accelerate Fiber Buildout in Southern California

$80 million credit facility led by Third Coast Bank and CIBC supports expansion into Santa Clarita following successful Moorpark launch. Arenova Capital increases equity commitment.

MOORPARK, Calif., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Aspire Fiber, a 100% fiber-optic internet provider serving Southern California, today announced the closing of an $80 million Senior Secured Credit Facility. The facility, led by Third Coast Bank and CIBC, will support the continued expansion of Aspire's 10 Gigabit-capable fiber network across Southern California markets and beyond.

Aspire is also pleased to announce that its equity partner, Arenova Capital, has increased its equity commitment to $75 million to accelerate the expansion of Aspire Fiber's services across Southern California. Arenova Capital partnered with Aspire's founding team in February 2026 to establish Aspire Fiber as Southern California's local internet service provider, bringing next-generation fiber-optic connectivity to communities across the region.

"We are pleased to support Aspire Fiber as it expands its network and brings high-quality fiber connectivity to more communities across Southern California," said Tim Sackson, Executive Vice President, Corporate Banking at Third Coast Bank. ViewLift and Altitude+ Announce Record Season Growth and Platform Upgrades as NHL and NBA Seasons Get Underway
Image File
Original HTML

NEW YORK and DENVER, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Altitude+, the official direct-to-consumer streaming home for the Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets, opened the 2026â27 NHL and NBA seasons on the back of its strongest year yet. Powered by ViewLift, a leading provider of digital and media solutions for sports, news and entertainment organizations, Altitude+ closed out the 2025â26 seasons with major gains, driven by a wave of fan-focused feature upgrades introduced throughout the year.

A Season of Fan-Focused Upgrades

Altitude+ used the 2025â26 season to significantly expand what Avalanche and Nuggets fans can do on the platform. New multiview functionality lets viewers watch concurrent live Avalanche and Nuggets games side by side, while an integrated live chat feature brings real-time fan interaction directly into the broadcast experience.

The platform also introduced spoiler control, giving fans the ability to avoid scores and results for games they haven't watched yet, and a start-from-the-beginning feature that lets viewers join any in-progress live game from its opening moment. On the monetization side, Altitude+ rolled out expanded ad inventory without disrupting the viewing experience, adding commercial flexibility while preserving broadcast quality.

Distribution also grew: Altitude+ added Xumo to its device portfolio during the season, broadening access for fans watching on free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) platforms.

Standout 2025â26 Performance

Compared to the 2024â25 season, Altitude+ saw:

- +63% growth in registered users

- +186% growth in total views

- +105% growth in TVE subscribers

"The growth we saw on Altitude+ this past season shows just how much appetite there is for a platform built around Avalanche and Nuggets fans specifically," said Steve Smith, President of KSE Media Ventures. "Features like multiview and spoiler control came directly from what fans told us they wanted, and as the season gets underway, we're continuing to build the platform around that same feedback."

"Altitude+ is exactly what we set out to build with KSE Media Ventures: a platform that keeps evolving around what fans actually want," said Manik Bambha, President of ViewLift. "The numbers speak for themselves, and we're excited to keep scaling that experience this season."

Looking Ahead to 2026â27

With both seasons now in motion, Altitude+ carries that momentum forward, guided by direct fan feedback and usage trends.

Fitness 19 Releases "Tips for Fitting Fitness Into Your Busy Schedule"

TEMECULA, Calif., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Fitness 19 has announced the release of its latest resource, "Tips for Fitting Fitness Into Your Busy Schedule." This resource delves into fitting fitness into a busy schedule by offering information on the importance of fitness and how to include fitness in a lifestyle.

Staying active is important because it keeps a person's body healthy and strong, and other fitness benefits include managing weight, improving mental health, decreasing the risk of cardiovascular disease, strengthening your muscles, and improving your bone density. Keeping up with a fitness routine has both present-day and future benefits, and the long-term effects of not prioritizing fitness will become clearer as a person ages.

Once fitness is a part of someone's daily routine, consistency is easier. To focus on incorporating more fitness, people should choose something enjoyable, be reasonable with time allocations and fitness results, and have flexibility. An active lifestyle is more manageable when fitness is combined with something else and with an accountability partner. People should focus on their own fitness routine and journey and not compare themselves to other people, both in person or on social media. According to Fitness 19, "At the end of the day, it's important to remember that even a little bit of exercise is better than nothing."

To learn more about fitting fitness into a busy schedule, please visit Fitness 19 here.

About Fitness 19:

Fitness 19 was founded in 2003 by fitness industry veterans who believed that the traditional health club model wasn't meeting the needs of most people. They started Fitness 19 to give customers more of what they really want out of a fitness membership. The result is a simple fitness club concept â an extremely affordable, family-friendly facility that offers state-of-the-art cardio, strength, and free weight equipment.

No. 9 UniFirst Chevy Heads to Martinsville for Final 2026 Sponsorship Appearance
Image File
Original HTML

WILMINGTON, Mass., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- UniFirst Corporation (NYSE:UNF), a North American leader in providing customized business uniform programs, facility service products, and first aid and safety services, announced today that the No. 9 UniFirst Chevrolet, driven by Chase Elliott, will return to Martinsville Speedway for the penultimate race of The Chase on November 1, at 2 p.m. ET, broadcast live on NBC. This marks UniFirst's fifth and final primary sponsorship appearance of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season.

Martinsville holds special meaning for the No. 9 UniFirst team this year. Earlier this spring, the bold green No. 9 UniFirst Chevy, featuring the brand's iconic U-Mark, carried Elliott to victory at the Virginia short track. Now the team heads back with a win already in hand.

"Winning at Martinsville in the spring with UniFirst on the car was something our whole team was proud of," said Elliott. "Martinsville is a tough track to win on. We were able to put ourselves in a good position in the spring, so that gives me confidence that we can go back and be just as strong. I know we'd love to get UniFirst back to victory lane before the season ends."

"Watching Chase take the checkered flag at Martinsville this spring was a moment our entire UniFirst team will remember," said David Katz, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at UniFirst. "That win reflected the hard work and preparation that Chase and the No. 9 crew bring every week. We're excited to return to Martinsville with them, and we couldn't ask for a better place to wrap up our season."

The No. 9 UniFirst Chevrolet opened its 2026 schedule at Darlington Raceway before winning at Martinsville Speedway in the spring. Its most recent appearances came at Richmond Raceway, and Charlotte Motor Speedway. Sunday's race at Martinsville completes the final primary sponsorship appearance for the No. 9 UniFirst Chevy this year.

The 2026 season marks UniFirst's seventh year as a proud sponsor of Chase Elliott and the No. 9 team. As the Official Workwear Provider for Hendrick Motorsports, UniFirst also supplies high-quality uniforms, workwear, and facility services to the team and its sister company, Hendrick Automotive Group.
