Mountaintop views, Lake Chatuge recreation and four nearby mountain communities define this North CarolinaâGeorgia land bargain.

HAYESVILLE, N.C., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- National Land Partners will hold a one-day grand opening land sale Saturday, Nov. 7, featuring high-elevation Blue Ridge Mountain properties up to 5 acres from $29,900. Located near Hiawassee and Young Harris, Georgia, and Hayesville and Murphy, North Carolina, the homesites offer convenient access to Atlanta and year-round mountain recreation.

Buyers may reserve a private property tour before the sale by calling 877-888-0226 or visiting LandSaleNC.com.

Lake Chatuge and Four Mountain Towns Shape the Lifestyle

Lake Chatuge spans the North CarolinaâGeorgia line and offers more than 130 miles of shoreline for boating, fishing, swimming and other water recreation. The lake is also home to Jackrabbit Mountain Recreation Area in Nantahala National Forest, where visitors can access lakeside camping, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, fishing and motorized boating.

The surrounding communities of Hiawassee, Hayesville, Murphy and Young Harris give owners access to restaurants, shopping, festivals, live entertainment and everyday conveniences. The broader region also includes Nottely Lake, golf, whitewater rafting and miles of trails through the national forests of western North Carolina and north Georgia.

Many people first discover this corner of the Blue Ridge Mountains as visitors. Owning land here creates the opportunity to make the lake-and-mountain lifestyle part of everyday lifeâwhether as a primary residence, retirement retreat or weekend getaway.

"The property is only part of the storyâthe surrounding area is the draw," said Hank Rogers, sales manager for National Land Partners. "Lake Chatuge, the national forests and nearby mountain towns give buyers year-round ways to enjoy the region, whether they are looking for a weekend retreat or a place to build for the future."

That visitor appeal is reflected in Western North Carolina's continued mountain tourism recovery. In August, the North Carolina Department of Commerce reported that visitor spending in the Smoky Mountains and Cherokee region increased 4.3% in 2025, with Cherokee County recording a 13.9% gain. The figures provide current context for continued interest in the state's far-western mountain communities.

BAE Systems demonstrates a scalable missile launching solution that doubles combat capabilities for U.S. Navy and allied fleets, enhancing survivability and firepower through rapid, deck-mounted deployment.

CHINA LAKE, Calif., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- BAE Systems (LON: BA) successfully completed the first live-fire test of the Adaptable Deck Launcher (ADL), a missile launching solution that significantly increases combat capabilities and operational adaptability across the U.S. Navy and allied fleets.

Developed under a U.S. Department of War (DoW) contract for the NATO Seasparrow Project Office (NSPO), the system provides the reliability of a Vertical Launching System (VLS) and low-cost operation by using an existing Mk 41 VLS logistics and electronics suite. The ADL's capability for expedited reloading at sea provides a key operational advantage by helping to ensure ships maintain high rates of fire without returning to port.

"The successful demonstration of the Adaptable Deck Launcher is a major milestone in our commitment to enhancing the Navy's combat effectiveness and readiness," said Jason Casciotti, vice president of Weapons Systems at BAE Systems. "The ADL complements the Mk 41 VLS â the foundation of naval missile integration â by providing a capability for rapid replenishment, using standard shipboard equipment and offering the fleet additional flexibility in how it sustains combat loads at sea."

The ADL enables anti-air defense and flexible maritime operations across aircraft carriers, amphibious ships and other surface combatants. The system is also optimized for unmanned warfare, offering compact configurations ideal for medium unmanned surface vessels.

As the mechanical design agent for the Mk 41 VLS family, BAE Systems developed the ADL for full compatibility with Evolved SeaSparrow Missile Mk 25 Quad-Pack canisters, which provide surface-to-air defence for ships against supersonic anti-ship missiles, aircraft and other aerial threats.

Array Skin Therapy Opens First Houston Location, Bringing Advanced Light Therapy for Psoriasis, Vitiligo and Eczema to the Houston Area

New Houston/Katy clinic expands access to medically supervised Narrowband UVB phototherapy, offering patients a drug-free treatment option for chronic inflammatory and autoimmune skin conditions.

HOUSTON, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Array Skin Therapy, a specialized provider of medically supervised light therapy for chronic skin conditions, is pleased to announce the grand opening of its first Houston location near Katy, Texas. Located at 11211 Katy Freeway, Suite 450, Houston, TX 77079, the new clinic introduces advanced Narrowband UVB (NB-UVB) phototherapy services to the Houston community, providing an effective, non-invasive treatment option for individuals living with psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema, and other inflammatory skin conditions.

The opening marks an important milestone in Array Skin Therapy's continued expansion across the United States. Founded in 2011 with a mission to make specialized light therapy more accessible, Array has spent 15 years helping patients manage chronic skin conditions through personalized, drug-free phototherapy treatments.

Bringing Specialized Light Therapy Treatment to Houston and Katy

For individuals living with psoriasis, vitiligo, or eczema, finding effective treatment can be challenging. Chronic itching, inflammation, scaling, and changes in skin pigmentation can significantly affect daily comfort, emotional well-being, and quality of life.

Array Skin Therapy's new Houston/Katy clinic addresses these challenges by offering Narrowband UVB phototherapy, an established medical treatment that uses carefully controlled wavelengths of ultraviolet light to target inflammatory processes in the skin.

Unlike systemic medications, which can affect multiple systems throughout the body, phototherapy delivers treatment directly to affected skin, offering patients a non-invasive alternative or complement to traditional medical therapies.

The new Houston location specializes in light therapy for several common chronic skin conditions, including:

- Psoriasis Treatment: Narrowband UVB phototherapy helps slow excessive skin cell production, reduce inflammation, and improve symptoms such as redness, itching, scaling, and thickened plaques.

- Vitiligo Treatment: Therapeutic UVB light can stimulate melanocyte activity, encouraging the gradual return of natural pigmentation in areas affected by vitiligo.

- Eczema Treatment: Phototherapy helps regulate inflammatory responses associated with eczema and atopic dermatitis, potentially reducing persistent itching, redness, and recurring flare-ups.

Each patient's treatment plan is individualized according to their diagnosis, skin type, medical history, and response to phototherapy.

Experienced Medical Professionals Providing Personalized Skin Care

At Array Skin Therapy Houston/Katy, patient safety, treatment precision, and individualized care are central to the clinical experience.

The location's medical team includes Clinical Director Shir'mel McCullough, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, and Nurse Practitioner Susan Nguy, MSN, APRN, FNP-C. Together, the clinical team provides professionally supervised phototherapy treatments and personalized care for patients managing chronic skin conditions.

The clinic utilizes advanced light therapy equipment, including full-body treatment booths, hand and foot units, and targeted phototherapy technology designed to address both widespread and localized skin concerns.

Treatment sessions are generally brief, making phototherapy a practical option for individuals who require multiple appointments throughout the week. Medical professionals monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to support safe, effective care.

Expanding Awareness of Drug-Free Psoriasis, Vitiligo and Eczema Treatments

Although Narrowband UVB phototherapy has been used in dermatology for decades, many individuals remain unfamiliar with its benefits or may not realize that specialized light therapy clinics are available outside traditional dermatology offices.

Through its Houston expansion, Array Skin Therapy aims to improve local awareness of this treatment option while building relationships with area dermatologists, healthcare providers, and patients seeking additional ways to manage chronic skin conditions.

The clinic welcomes patients who have been referred by their dermatologists, as well as individuals interested in scheduling a consultation directly to determine whether phototherapy is appropriate for their condition.

A Growing Network Dedicated to Better Skin Health

The Houston/Katy grand opening represents another step in Array Skin Therapy's mission to bring specialized phototherapy services to more communities nationwide.

With established locations throughout Southern California and additional clinics in Utah and Arizona, Array continues expanding access to advanced light therapy through its growing network of treatment centers.

The addition of its first Houston location allows Array Skin Therapy to serve patients throughout Houston, Katy, and surrounding West Houston communities, providing a convenient local option for specialized phototherapy treatment.

Schedule a Consultation at Array Skin Therapy Houston/Katy

Array Skin Therapy's new Houston/Katy location is now welcoming patients seeking specialized light therapy for psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema, and other eligible chronic skin conditions.

Individuals interested in learning more about Narrowband UVB phototherapy can contact the clinic to schedule a consultation and discuss their treatment options with its medical team.

About Array Skin Therapy

Founded in 2011, Array Skin Therapy specializes in medically supervised Narrowband UVB phototherapy and advanced light-based treatments for psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema, and other autoimmune and inflammatory skin conditions. Alpheus Presents Data on Serial LDH Kinetics as a Potential Blood-Based Biomarker in Glioblastoma
Image File
Original HTML

Exploratory analysis presented at the ESMO Congress suggests changes in lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) measurements over time may complement imaging in assessing disease activity in glioblastoma

CHANHASSEN, Minn., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Alpheus Medical, Inc., a clinical-stage oncology company developing Porphyrin Metabolite Activation (PoMAâ¢) for the treatment of glioblastoma (GBM), today announced that new biomarker data from its first-in-human clinical study were presented at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2026, in Madrid, Spain. The data were presented in poster 4289P, "LDH kinetics as a biomarker of disease activity in glioblastoma treated with porphyrin metabolite activation (PoMA)." The findings support further evaluation of serial LDH kinetics as a potential minimally invasive biomarker of disease activity in glioblastoma.

Rather than relying on a single LDH value, the analysis examined how LDH changes over time and how those trajectories relate to clinical and radiographic disease status. In this exploratory analysis of 15 patients with MGMT-unmethylated recurrent glioblastoma treated with PoMAâ¢, sustained patterns of LDH change provided information complementary to imaging in assessing disease status. Alpheus plans to prospectively evaluate these findings in a larger patient population to better understand the relationship between serial LDH kinetics, clinical status, and imaging.

Key observations from the exploratory analysis include:

- Patients without evidence of clinical disease progression generally demonstrated stable or declining LDH levels.

- All patients with investigator-assessed clinical deterioration demonstrated sustained increases in LDH during treatment.

- Patients with imaging-based suspected progression generally maintained stable LDH levels, suggesting that serial LDH kinetics may provide complementary information when radiographic findings are difficult to interpret.

- The analysis found that predefined consecutive LDH increases or an initial large increase were more indicative of disease status than smaller isolated changes.

"Cancer biomarkers are often interpreted as snapshots in time, and imaging of glioblastoma is challenging because treatment-related imaging changes can mimic disease progression. We wanted to understand whether the trajectory of LDH over time could provide complementary information," said Vijay Agarwal, MD, FAANS, FCNS, neurosurgeon and Chief Executive Officer of Alpheus Medical. "The ESMO findings suggest that sustained increases in LDH tracked with clinical deterioration, while patients without evidence of clinical progression generally showed stable or declining LDH. We now plan to evaluate this prospectively in a larger group of patients to better understand how serial LDH kinetics relate to disease progression."

About PoMAâ¢

Porphyrin Metabolite Activation (PoMAâ¢) is a drug-led therapeutic approach for glioblastoma designed to exploit the biology of protoporphyrin IX (PpIX), which accumulates preferentially in tumor cells following administration of 5-aminolevulinic acid (5-ALA). PpIX is then activated using low-intensity defocused ultrasound, enabling treatment across the cerebral hemisphere. PoMA is currently under clinical investigation in newly diagnosed (NCT07225621), and butterfly (NCT07862647) glioblastoma.

About Alpheus Medical, Inc.

Alpheus Medical is a private, clinical-stage biotechnology company developing Porphyrin Metabolite Activation (PoMA), a novel drug-led therapeutic approach for glioblastoma. Designed to address the infiltrative nature of the disease, PoMA is being developed as a repeatable treatment approach and is currently being evaluated across multiple clinical studies in newly diagnosed glioblastoma and butterfly GBMs.

CellsBin Receives National Cancer Institute Award to Advance Blood Test for Multiple Myeloma
Image File
Original HTML

Study will test whether living myeloma cells can be found and recovered from a blood sample, with the goal of giving doctors bone marrow-level insight from a blood draw.

DANBURY, Conn., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- CellsBin®, a biotechnology company pioneering Rare-Cell Biologyâ¢, today announced that it has received a Direct-to-Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) award from the National Cancer Institute (NCI). The funding will advance CB-Insightâ¢, the company's blood-based test for multiple myeloma, a cancer that develops in the bone marrow.

The award follows CellsBin's Series A financing, announced in September and led by 108 BioCapital. Together, this private and federal funding moves the myeloma program beyond early proof-of-concept work and into formal testing in patients and development of a test that can be offered to doctors.

Multiple myeloma is a cancer of plasma cells, a type of immune cell found in the bone marrow. Examining these cancer cells directly has typically required a bone marrow biopsy, in which a sample is removed from the bone with a needle. CellsBin is taking a different approach: finding the few myeloma cells that travel in the bloodstream and capturing them intact and alive.

The long-term aim is to give doctors detailed information about a patient's myeloma from a routine blood draw, so the disease can be checked more often and, ultimately, studied as closely as a bone marrow sample allows today.

"Blood is the next frontier in multiple myeloma," said Natalia Neparidze, MD, Associate Professor of Medicine (Hematology) and Research Leader of the Myeloma Program at Yale School of Medicine. "Our goal should be to give doctors the kind of biological insight that today comes from the bone marrow, using only a blood draw. That would allow us to examine the disease more often and with less burden on patients."

The NCI-funded program includes a large clinical study that will enroll and follow patients going forward. The principal investigator is Elan Gorshein, DO, JD, MPH, Assistant Professor of Medicine (Hematology) at Yale School of Medicine. The study will measure how well CellsBin's technology detects and recovers living myeloma cells from patients' blood, and compare the results with standard clinical tests, including bone marrow tests where appropriate.

"The important question now is whether this technology works reliably and consistently in patients," said Dr. Gorshein. "The study will measure how well it detects myeloma cells in the blood and recovers them alive, alongside standard tests. If we can reliably recover these cells from blood, it could give us a powerful new way to follow myeloma over time and better understand how the disease works."

CellsBin's technology combines high-resolution imaging, microfluidics (tiny channels that guide fluid through a chip) and machine learning to pick out extremely rare cells from the vast number of normal cells in a blood sample and separate them out. Keeping the cells alive means they can be studied in depth, including their genetic and molecular features, rather than simply counted.

CellsBin first presented early myeloma results at the 2024 American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting. Privately funded work since then made the company eligible for a Direct-to-Phase II award, which lets small businesses that have already shown their technology is feasible skip the initial Phase I stage.

Under the award, CellsBin plans to test the technology in patients, confirm that it gives consistent results, and prepare it for clinical laboratory use, including work toward a future laboratory-developed test (LDT) offered under CLIA, the federal standards for clinical laboratory testing.

"This award moves us from proving the concept to building a test for clinical use," said Ali Kabiri, PhD, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of CellsBin. "The goal is not simply to detect a rare signal. It is to consistently recover the actual myeloma cell, intact and alive, and build a clinical laboratory process around that capability. We believe that is the path toward a future blood test and, ultimately, toward bone marrow-level insights from blood."

"If we can use blood to see the biology that today is visible only through occasional bone marrow biopsies, the benefits go beyond convenience," Kabiri added. "It changes how often we can check on the disease, what we can learn from each sample, and potentially how closely we can track how it changes over time."

About CellsBin

CellsBin is pioneering Rare-Cell Biology⢠to reveal the rare cells that shape human health. Its Rare-Cell Intelligence⢠Platform combines microfluidics, advanced imaging, single-cell analysis and artificial intelligence to find, analyze and isolate rare cells at scale. The company is developing applications in precision diagnostics and in research that helps bring laboratory discoveries to patients, with the goal of making rare cells visible, measurable and useful in patient care.

Champion It Forward Launches to Expand Career Pathways and Strengthen the Future of Collision Repair
Image File
Original HTML

New independent nonprofit will invest in education, training, mentorship and opportunities for the next generation of collision repair professionals

CHICAGO, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- America's skilled trades gap needs a Champion. Today, Champion It Forward, a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is answering the call, launching with a clear mission to equip and champion the next generation of automotive collision repair professionals.

Champion It Forward aims to strengthen the collision repair workforce pipeline by expanding career pathways, advancing mentorship opportunities and providing financial support for aspiring collision repair technicians.

The need is significant. Currently, the collision repair industry faces a workforce gap of more than 55% in unfilled auto body repair technician roles, with demand for nearly 100,000 technicians projected over the next five years, according to the latest industry data.

Champion It Forward is already experiencing a wave of momentum and financial backing. In September, Crash Champions, one of the nation's fastest-growing founder-led providers of high-quality collision repair services, raised $300,000 at its annual Champions Classic charity golf outing to support the organization.

"Champion It Forward is designed to unite the automotive and collision repair industries in support of building and sustaining a strong workforce," said Crash Champions Founder and CEO Matt Ebert. "We believe in this organization because it is bringing people and companies from across the automotive landscape together to invest in talent, expand access to training and mentorship, and give the next generation the tools and opportunities they need to succeed."

The Champion It Forward Board of Directors has additional executive leadership support from industry leaders such as LKQ and 3M.

"The support we have received during the Champion It Forward launch speaks volumes about the commitment that exists across this industry to invest in our future," said Champion It Forward Board Member Dave Gunderson, President, Automotive Aftermarket Division, 3M. "The $300,000 raised through the Champions Classic gives Champion It Forward the ability to begin turning that shared commitment into action. We are enormously grateful to Crash Champions and to every sponsor, partner and participant who supported the event. Their generosity will help us begin creating opportunities that can make a meaningful difference in people's lives and strengthen our industry for years to come."

This early support and funding provide Champion It Forward with an important foundation as it begins developing programs designed to expand access to the collision repair profession in the form of paid apprenticeships, educational support, and tool grants.

Among its early priorities, the organization will work to support programs and initiatives that:

- Build stronger awareness of the collision repair industry and the skilled trades as viable, rewarding careers;

- Reduce financial barriers to technical training, certifications and paid apprenticeships through scholarship opportunities; and

- Bring automotive insurance carriers, suppliers and educators together to invest in the next generation of collision repair technicians.

The organization's formation comes as collision repair employers across the country continue to focus on recruiting and developing skilled technicians and building more consistent pathways into the profession.

Korean Skincare Brand FULLY Launches at More Than 580 Sephora Stores Across the U.S.

- FULLY expands its U.S. retail presence through the OLIVE YOUNG K-Beauty Edit at Sephora, now available in stores and online

- Six skincare products, including the best-selling Green Tomato Clay Mask Cleanser, debut for U.S. Sephora shoppers

SEOUL, South Korea, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- FULLY, a Korean vegan high-performance skincare brand, has expanded its U.S. retail presence with a nationwide launch at more than 580 Sephora stores through the OLIVE YOUNG K-Beauty Edit. FULLY products became available in stores and online beginning August 20, 2026, marking the brand's largest brick-and-mortar expansion in the U.S. to date.

OLIVE YOUNG, Korea's leading beauty and lifestyle retailer, has curated the OLIVE YOUNG K-Beauty Edit at Sephora to introduce Korean beauty brands to North American consumers. The assortment includes six FULLY products across cleansing, treatment, hydration, moisturizing and sun care.

The Sephora lineup is led by FULLY's best-selling Green Tomato Clay Mask Cleanser, a 2-in-1 clay mask and cleanser that has become one of the brand's best-known products in the U.S. In 2025, Cardi B featured the product on TikTok, referring to it as the "Last Boss" of K-beauty. That same year, Women's Health named it Best Clay Mask in its 2025 Skincare Awards.

The Green Tomato Clay Mask Cleanser has sold more than 3.5 million units worldwide. The creamy clay formula is applied as a mask, then transforms into a rich foam with water to cleanse away excess sebum and pore buildup.

FULLY is also introducing its rice-based skincare lineup to U.S. Sephora shoppers. Inspired by the longstanding use of rice in Korean beauty routines, the collection combines rice-derived ingredients with formulas focused on hydration, barrier support and radiance.

The lineup includes the Rice PDRN Glow Boosting Serum, formulated with rice-derived PDRN, rice bran water, ceramides and adenosine to hydrate the skin and leave it looking plump and radiant. The assortment also includes the Rice-Dough Mask Cleanser, Rice Ceramide Essence Toner, Rice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream and Rice Ceramide Moisture Sunscreen.

"U.S. consumers are becoming increasingly familiar with K-beauty and more interested in the ingredients and formulations behind the products they use," said a FULLY spokesperson. "Our launch at Sephora makes FULLY more accessible to U.S. consumers while giving them the opportunity to discover more of our skincare beyond the products they may already know."

The U.S. launch follows FULLY's expansion into Sephora in six Asia-Pacific markets â Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand â in March 2026.

FULLY is a Korean vegan high-performance skincare brand guided by the philosophy "Born from Nature, Proven by Science." The brand develops skincare that combines naturally derived ingredients with science-backed formulations, with a focus on efficacy, skin comfort and distinctive textures.

ZLINE PARAMOUNT INDUCTION RANGE SELECTED AS A GOOD HOUSEKEEPING 2027 KITCHEN AWARDS WINNER
Image File

RENO, Nev., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- ZLINE Kitchen and Bath announced today that the ZLINE 36 in. Paramount Induction Range with 5 Element Cooktop and Electric Convection Oven (SINR36) was named a winner in Good Housekeeping's 2027 Kitchen Awards. The full list of awards can be found on goodhousekeeping.com/kitchenawards2027.

This 5.2 cu. ft. stainless steel freestanding range pairs powerful capability with a sleek, contemporary surface that transforms the at-home cooking experience. Unlike traditional gas or electric cooktops, ZLINE's induction technology heats cookware directly, enabling instantaneous response, rapid boiling and searing, and increased safety and energy efficiency.

Its defining feature is a nanotechnology-reinforced, anti-scratch glass surface. Rated 7.5 on the Mohs hardness scaleâharder than quartz and comparable to high-carbon steelâthe resilient glass stands up to heavy cookware. An anti-glare matte coating reduces reflections from overhead lighting and resists fingerprints and oil buildup, simplifying cleaning for a pristine kitchen look.

The cooktop features five induction elements with nine easy-adjust cooking levels, ranging from gentle simmering to heavy frying, while a Power Boost function delivers an extra surge of heat for rapid boiling and flash searing. A bridge function links two elements into a single cooking zone to accommodate larger cookware such as roasting pans and griddles.

Below the cooktop, the range maintains the craftsmanship, aesthetic, and reliability of ZLINE's Paramount Series of induction and dual-fuel models, including powerful electric convection cooking with high-speed fans, halogen interior lighting, and digital thermostat technology for faster preheating. Dual smooth-glide racks, a triple-layer insulated glass door, and an expansive Horizon-style window make it easy to check on baking status, while premium knobs, rings, and ZLINE's signature range handle round out the design.

"Every detail on our Paramount Induction Range began with questions about how people actually cook: Where does the overhead glare fall? What happens when a heavy pan slides across the surface? How quickly can dinner come together on a busy night?" shares Mason Watkins, ZLINE Senior Director of Marketing. "We're honored that the Good Housekeeping Institute, after months of testing, saw the level of care our team put into the final product."

Now in its sixth year, Good Housekeeping's Kitchen Awards are an annual awards program run by experts in the Good Housekeeping Institute. The Good Housekeeping Institute's kitchen and food expertsâincluding appliance analysts, trained cooks, recipe developers, and nutritionistsâspent months testing a wide range of new and best-selling products designed to make kitchen life easier.

They evaluated countertop, built-in, and outdoor appliances; cooking tools; cookware; and more, as well as foods for your fridge, freezer, and pantry. Analysts assessed products in the GH Labs and test kitchens, and they also sent samples to more than 640 consumer testers to use in their own kitchens. The winners were selected based on quality, performance, value, usefulness, andâwhere applicableâtaste.

The 36 in. Paramount Induction Range is one of more than 150 freestanding ranges, cooktops, and rangetops in ZLINE's induction cooking collection, which offers homeowners, interior designers, and builders diverse options suited for any modern kitchen layout.

Cybercrime Magazine Explores Why Quantum Readiness Must Become a Boardroom Priority in New Film Sponsored by Keyfactor

Security leaders and industry experts explore how to prepare for the post-quantum transition while protecting business continuity

ATLANTA and STOCKHOLM, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Keyfactor, the leader in trust infrastructure for the AI and quantum era, today announced the release of a new Cybercrime Magazine film, sponsored by Keyfactor, examining how organizations can prepare for the transition to post-quantum cryptography (PQC). The film brings together perspectives from Fortune 500 and Global 2000 Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), cybersecurity leaders and cryptography experts.

Quantum computing will challenge the cryptography that protects enterprise data, systems and machine identities. Readiness must be driven by business risk, not predictions about when Q-Day will arrive. Q-day is the point at which quantum computers can break widely used public-key cryptography. Organizations need clear ownership, an understanding of their exposure and a plan to coordinate change across the business.

PQC standards and government transition requirements give organizations a clearer basis for action. The White House's Executive Order further underscores the urgency of the transition, directing federal agencies to migrate high-value assets and high-impact systems to PQC for key establishment by the end of 2030 and digital signatures by the end of 2031.

"PQC migration is a multiyear program, not a project with a finish line at Q-Day," said Chris Hickman, Chief Security Officer at Keyfactor. "It requires executive support, clear ownership and priorities tied to business risk. Organizations need to understand where cryptography is used, what it protects and where the greatest risks lie, then build a plan they can execute across the teams and systems that depend on it."

Keyfactor helps organizations move from PQC awareness to coordinated migration and continuous crypto-agility. Keyfactor brings the cryptographic expertise and best-of-breed solutions organizations need to move from PQC planning to execution. Its open platform connects cryptographic discovery, PKI, certificate lifecycle management and signing, helping teams identify exposure, modernize infrastructure and coordinate migration across complex environments. Together, these capabilities build the crypto-agility to adapt as standards, technologies and threats evolve.

"Cryptographic change won't end with PQC," said Ted Shorter, Chief Technology Officer at Keyfactor. "Organizations that build crypto-agility now will be better prepared to adapt as standards evolve and new threats emerge. That readiness will be critical to protecting digital trust well beyond the PQC transition."

Experts featured in the short film include (listed in order of appearance):

- Ted Shorter, Chief Technology Officer, Keyfactor

- Chris Hickman, Chief Security Officer, Keyfactor

- Diane Janosek, Former NSA Training Director, National Cryptologic School

- Georgianna Shea, Author, Post-Quantum Leadership

- Theresa Payton, Former White House Chief Information Officer

- Adam Keown, CISO, Eastman

The film is available on the Cybercrime Magazine YouTube channel. Watch here: https://www.keyfactor.com/post-quantum-cryptography-lab/post-quantum-future/.
