WILMINGTON, Mass., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- UniFirst Corporation (NYSE:UNF), a North American leader in providing customized business uniform programs, facility service products, and first aid and safety services, announced today that the No. 9 UniFirst Chevrolet, driven by Chase Elliott, will return to Martinsville Speedway for the penultimate race of The Chase on November 1, at 2 p.m. ET, broadcast live on NBC. This marks UniFirst's fifth and final primary sponsorship appearance of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season.

Martinsville holds special meaning for the No. 9 UniFirst team this year. Earlier this spring, the bold green No. 9 UniFirst Chevy, featuring the brand's iconic U-Mark, carried Elliott to victory at the Virginia short track. Now the team heads back with a win already in hand.

"Winning at Martinsville in the spring with UniFirst on the car was something our whole team was proud of," said Elliott. "Martinsville is a tough track to win on. We were able to put ourselves in a good position in the spring, so that gives me confidence that we can go back and be just as strong. I know we'd love to get UniFirst back to victory lane before the season ends."

"Watching Chase take the checkered flag at Martinsville this spring was a moment our entire UniFirst team will remember," said David Katz, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at UniFirst. "That win reflected the hard work and preparation that Chase and the No. 9 crew bring every week. We're excited to return to Martinsville with them, and we couldn't ask for a better place to wrap up our season."

The No. 9 UniFirst Chevrolet opened its 2026 schedule at Darlington Raceway before winning at Martinsville Speedway in the spring. Its most recent appearances came at Richmond Raceway, and Charlotte Motor Speedway. Sunday's race at Martinsville completes the final primary sponsorship appearance for the No. 9 UniFirst Chevy this year.

The 2026 season marks UniFirst's seventh year as a proud sponsor of Chase Elliott and the No. 9 team. As the Official Workwear Provider for Hendrick Motorsports, UniFirst also supplies high-quality uniforms, workwear, and facility services to the team and its sister company, Hendrick Automotive Group.
