Eligible recipients of the first issue will receive a $1 On-Demand tournament ticket that can start a potential qualifying path toward a Bahamas package. It expires Monday, November 2, subject to eligibility and applicable terms.

Moneymaker qualified for his 2003 Main Event victory through an online satellite and was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2019. The opening edition also highlights ACR Poker's Telegram channel, featuring news, player stories, updates and giveaways.

Air France-KLM Flying Blue Named World's Best Airline Rewards Program in point.me 2026 Rankings

New report ranks global airline loyalty programs based on more than 250 million award fares, scoring them on price, availability and ease of booking

NEW YORK , Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Air France-KLM Flying Blue has been named the world's best airline loyalty program in point.me's third annual World's Best Airline Rewards Programs report. point.me, the leading award travel search platform for points and miles, built this year's rankings on more than 250 million award fares from its own pricing data, scoring 33 of the world's leading loyalty programs

Globally, Flying Blue earned the top overall spot for the third year in a row. It ranked first for award availability, partner opportunities, and ease of earning. United MileagePlus placed second, with the best redemption experience of any program, and ranked first for customer service. Air Canada Aeroplan placed third as a well-rounded performer, finishing runner-up in award availability, partner opportunities, and ease of earning.

The World's Best Airline Rewards Programs for 2026: Overall Winners

These are the programs that performed best overall.

- Air France-KLM Flying Blue

- United MileagePlus

- Air Canada Aeroplan

- Alaska / Hawaiian Atmos Rewards

- American Airlines AAdvantage

- Qatar Airways Privilege Club

- JetBlue TrueBlue

- British Airways Club

- Virgin Atlantic Flying Club

- Cathay Pacific Asia Miles

Top Airline Loyalty Programs by Region:

- Americas: #1 United MileagePlus, #2 Air Canada Aeroplan

- Europe: #1 Air France-KLM Flying Blue, #2 British Airways Club

- Asia & Oceania: #1 Cathay Pacific Asia Miles, #2 Japan Airlines Mileage Bank and Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer (tie)

- Middle East: #1 Qatar Airways Privilege Club, #2 Emirates Skywards

"Travelers want to use their points without having to become an expert to do it," said Adam Morvitz, CEO of point.me. "A great loyalty program isn't the one with an incredible deal every once in a while. It's one where you can find a seat, at a price that makes sense, book it easily, and change your plans if you need to. That's what we measure, and the programs at the top of this list are the ones delivering on it."

The 2026 report uses a scoring framework across eight categories: ease of earning, redemption rates, partner opportunities, redemption experience, award availability, award holds, customer service, and change fee policies. The company used a mix of quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate each program as of August 1, 2026, then calculated an overall score for each program.

"Loyalty has become a strategic lever in global aviation, and for the third year running, the data puts Flying Blue at the top," said Benjamin Lipsey, President, Flying Blue Miles and Senior Vice President, Loyalty, Digital, and Data. "The program carries the strength of Air France, KLM, and Transavia beyond the flight, wherever our members travel and wherever they spend. That connection is one of the Group's defining competitive advantages, and loyalty will remain at the center of how we win and keep customers."

Airline Loyalty Program Trends

The analysis also identified several key loyalty program trends for 2026.

For example, airlines are increasingly reserving their best award pricing and availability for members who carry the airline's credit card. American Express paid Delta a reported $8.2 billion in a single year (Source: Delta.com), and as card portfolios have become among the most profitable parts of an airline's business, programs have followed.

"United now steers most of its Polaris business saver space to cardholders and elites, Delta takes 15% off award tickets for premium cardholders, and JetBlue rebates 10% to 15% on redemptions," said Morvitz. "The card in a traveler's wallet increasingly decides what they can book and what they pay."

Two other patterns emerged this year. Partner award space is shrinking as airlines steer premium inventory to their own members. In addition, flexibility has emerged as a key differentiator among loyalty programs. Only three programs in the report offer free changes and cancellations on all award tickets. The remaining programs either have fees of up to $150 or have some form of restriction on refunds.

Wabi Raises $55 Million At A $1.25 Billion Valuation, Following Strong Early Demand
Image File
Original HTML

Founded by Replika creator Eugenia Kuyda, Wabi is redefining personal AI as something people can use together, combining an AI agent and personalized mini-apps to help people pursue interests, navigate life's challenges, and do more of what they love

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Following strong interest in its recent public launch, Wabi, a new kind of personal AI assistant built for life together, today announced $55 million funding led by IVP, at a $1.25 billion valuation. Other participants included Andreessen (a16z), Forerunner, Amazon Alexa Fund and top angels and founders including Tobi Lütke, Marc Benioff, Marissa Mayer, Dick Costolo, and Alex Pall.

Founded by Eugenia Kuyda, who previously founded AI companion platform Replika, Wabi is reimagining what a personal AI agent can be. While most AI assistants today are built for one person typing into one chat, Wabi is betting the next era of personal AI happens between people; from the newlyweds excited about their next adventure, the book club planning its next themed night, the running group coordinating their next weekend route, the family sharing the mental load of running a household, to the friends who want to see more live music. Wabi combines an AI agent, personalized mini-apps, and shared spaces so people can put AI to work across their interests, relationships, and everyday lives.

"AI shouldn't just save people time. It should help them spend it better, doing more of what they love, with the people they love," said Eugenia Kuyda, founder and CEO of Wabi. "We believe Wabi has the power to become an operating system for life, a place where your people, your tools, and your AI come together to help you do more of what matters. As AI becomes more capable, it should help us not just get things done, but pursue our goals, discover new experiences, and show up for one another. We're building Wabi around that vision."

Since launch, users have found creative ways to use Wabi together. Friends have used it to discover new bands based on their shared musical tastes, run 30-day fitness challenges, and find thoughtful ways to check in on each other during hard times. Couples have used it to proactively plan date nights and keep the spark alive. Individuals have used it to build routines around personal goals and get step-by-step guidance through a breakup.

Personalized mini-apps make these interactions more than one-off chats. Couples can keep a running list of new restaurants to try and check them off together, families can share a weekly meal plan that turns into a grocery list, and friends can build trivia games for milestone birthday celebrations or trackers for their book club. These tools can be revisited and adapted over time, giving people a way to turn an idea into something they can keep doing together. Wabi also helps with everyday responsibilities, from coordinating family schedules and helping children with homework to booking appointments and planning trips.

"Eugenia has a unique sense for where AI is headed and a track record of great taste in building it," said Alex Lim, General Partner at IVP. "She has a clear vision for how people will interact with AI, one that goes far beyond the text box or command line. Wabi is the expression of that vision, and we're thrilled to support her."

"Eugenia Kuyda is one of the most incredible consumer thinkers I know. She was early and right about AI companions, and she thinks deeply about what people actually want. Eugenia knows personal agents need more than just a chat interface, so she's building Wabi as a shared place to plan, play and get things done together. It's a thoughtful bet in a space that's moving fast, and we're proud to have been in her corner since the pre-seed," said Anish Acharya, general partner at a16z.

The new funding will support Wabi's continued product development and expansion.

Portugal's Alentejo Cycling Experience Wins Gold at 2026 Travel Weekly Magellan Awards

Live Love Ride's Alentejo cycling experience earns Gold overall and Silver for service, recognizing a journey shaped by local knowledge and a team with deep roots in the region.

LISBON, Portugal, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Live Love Ride has received two honors at the 2026 Travel Weekly Magellan Awards for its "Alentejo Cycling Experience: A Boutique Slow Travel Journey in Portugal":

Gold â Tour Operators, Overall

Silver â Tour Operators, Service

Behind the award-winning experience is a local Portuguese team with deep roots in the Alentejo. Members of the team who design and operate the journey were born and raised in the region, bringing guests into a landscape, culture and community they have known throughout their lives.

"We don't just operate a tour in the Alentejo. This is home for members of our team," said Pedro Rocha, founder of Live Love Ride. "They know these roads, these villages and the people behind many of the places we visit. They know where to stop for coffee, which road has the best view and the little details you simply don't get from researching a destination."

"That's what we want to give our guests: a way into the inner circle. You're not just looking at the Alentejo from the outside. For a week, we're inviting you into our world."

The award-winning Alentejo Heritage & Wine Country Bike Tour is a seven-day journey through one of Portugal's most distinctive regions.

Beginning in the medieval hilltop village of Marvão, cyclists travel through cork oak forests, olive groves, vineyards and historic towns including Castelo de Vide, Estremoz, Monsaraz and Ãvora.

Daily rides of approximately 45 to 80 kilometers are combined with Alentejo cuisine and wines, distinctive accommodations, local producers and cultural experiences.

"Winning Gold is fantastic, but receiving Silver for service means just as much to us," Rocha said. "The landscape brings people here, but it's our team, our guides and the local people we work with who turn a cycling trip into something guests remember."

The experience is available as a self-guided journey, privately guided tour or on selected scheduled group departures.
