Rockwell Automation Introduces SecureOT Capabilities to Help OEMs Address Emerging Cybersecurity Regulations

SecureOT capabilities help machine builders identify vulnerabilities, document cybersecurity posture and support compliance readiness across the machine lifecycle

MILWAUKEE, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE: ROK), the world's largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, today announced new SecureOTTM cybersecurity capabilities designed to help original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) simplify compliance efforts, strengthen secure-by-design practices and better manage cybersecurity risks throughout the machine lifecycle.

Cybersecurity regulations, such as the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and Machinery Regulation (MR), are moving toward key compliance deadlines in 2026 and 2027. As these regulations reshape requirements for machine builders, OEMs face increasing pressure to demonstrate cybersecurity readiness, maintain detailed documentation and provide ongoing support for deployed assets. According to Rockwell's OEM Advantage Playbook findings, that pressure is being felt across the market: Nearly two in five OEMs are already navigating evolving compliance requirements, while 63% expect cyber risks to continue. Despite this, many lack visibility into their current readiness and the steps needed to address them. Rockwell's SecureOT capabilities help address these challenges by equipping OEMs with proactive cybersecurity management and making regulatory readiness a more repeatable, scalable process.

Rockwell expanded SecureOT with OEM-focused capabilities including cybersecurity assessments, advisory services, machine-level visibility, vulnerability identification and compliance reporting to help machine builders navigate evolving requirements. Powered by SecureOTTM Platform, these capabilities enable organizations to identify vulnerabilities, document cybersecurity posture and support regulatory readiness throughout the machine lifecycle.

By combining technology, services and industrial cybersecurity expertise, SecureOT helps OEMs move from reactive compliance activities to a more proactive and scalable approach to managing cybersecurity risk. Key capabilities include:

- Machine-level asset visibility with detailed inventories of hardware, software and firmware

- Vulnerability identification to help uncover cybersecurity risks that may affect machine security and compliance

- Exportable compliance reports that support customer transparency, audit preparation and regulatory documentation requirements

- Cybersecurity assessments and advisory services to help identify gaps, establish governance processes and align with standards such as IEC 62443

- Continuous monitoring to maintain visibility into newly disclosed vulnerabilities, support ongoing risk management and help satisfy post-deployment cybersecurity obligations

"OEMs are facing unprecedented pressure to demonstrate cybersecurity readiness while continuing to innovate and deliver high-quality machines on schedule," said Rick Kaun, global director of cybersecurity services at Rockwell Automation. "By combining SecureOT technology, advisory services and Rockwell Automation's industrial expertise, we help OEMs make cybersecurity a strategic business advantage rather than a compliance exercise."

As Holiday Shutdowns Approach, ECAM Urges Construction Firms to Shift From Recording Jobsite Theft to Stopping It

Live-monitored mobile surveillance helped one Phoenix builder cut security costs by more than $3,000 per site each month while reducing theft

DALLAS, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- ECAM, North America's #1 video security provider, is urging construction firms to change how they protect active and idle jobsites as they head into the holiday shutdown season. A combination of live video monitoring and AI-driven detection helps crews protect against theft, vandalism and unauthorized access. As crime continues to become more organized and material replacement costs increase, the issue is driving compounding losses across equipment, materials and project schedules while increasing insurance exposure.

Industry estimates from the National Equipment Register (NER) and the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) place annual losses involving construction and agricultural equipment at $300 million to $1 billion in the United States alone, with more than 75% of stolen machines never recovered. The true scale of exposure is likely even greater as industry research further suggests as many as 85% of construction site thefts go unreported.

"The real cost of jobsite theft goes far beyond a stolen asset," said Natalie Jackson, Regional Vice President of Sales â East at ECAM. "A single break-in can trigger insurance claims, idle a crew, push back inspections and extend a project schedule by days or even weeks. In a sector where time is money, these ripple effects often dwarf the value of what was taken. That's why proactive video security solutions that aim to stop an incident in its tracks are so important, rather than just capturing footage for later review."

Most jobsite cameras still work after the fact, and the footage gets reviewed once the equipment is already gone. ECAM's approach is built to intervene while an incident is still unfolding. Solar-powered mobile surveillance units run without permanent site power and can be repositioned as a project moves from groundwork to framing to finish. AI detection flags activity around perimeters, laydown yards and equipment. ECAM's live monitoring specialists then verify each alert, issue audio warnings to intruders and escalate to guards or police when needed.

That approach is already showing results. A Phoenix-based construction firm running as many as 18 active jobsites at once deployed ECAM's mobile units with 24/7 live monitoring across its projects. The firm cut its security costs by more than $3,000 per site each month, experienced a significant decrease in theft incidents and has flexible coverage that scales with each phase of construction.

Three ways to protect a jobsite before the holiday shutdown

ECAM recommends contractors take three steps before sites go quiet:

- Stage equipment smartly: move high-value machines away from the perimeter and out of view from the road, then lock them and remove the keys.

- Walk the site with your monitoring provider: close blind spots before the shutdown starts, especially around laydown yards, fuel storage and secondary gates.

- Set escalation rules in advance: agree on who gets called and when, so an alert becomes a response in minutes instead of a discovery on Monday morning.

"Jobsite security has to be as adaptable as a project evolves," continued Jackson. "A site that's wide open during framing looks completely different three months later during finish work, so any video security solution has to keep up in order to remain effective. Live video monitoring paired with mobile surveillance units gives builders the ability to cover a changing site and intervene before losses occur."

Oath Verified's Audit Practice Establishes Quality Advisory Board, Names Audit Leader Sara Lord as Founding Member

Former AICPA Auditing Standards Board Chair will provide external perspective on audit quality as the venture-backed startup builds its practice, just months after launch

CHICAGO, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Oath Verified, a financial technology startup modernizing financial auditing, today announced its audit practice, Oath CPAs PLLC, has created a Quality Advisory Board. Sara Lord, an audit leader who helped shape the profession's standards, will serve as its founding member. In a rare move for an early-stage company, Oath voluntarily formed the board just months after launching.

Much of finance is now automated, from processing payments to producing financial reports, while verification remains largely manual. Oath brings automation to auditing so businesses can have greater confidence in their numbers. The technology connects directly to companies' financial systems to verify records throughout the year, while licensed CPAs evaluate the evidence, apply professional judgment, and sign off on each audit.

"A new way of auditing has to earn trust," said Lucas Ward, founder and CEO of Oath Verified. "We're building technology to check the numbers alongside the systems producing them, with experienced auditors responsible for the judgment calls. Bringing Sara in early gives us someone who has helped write the profession's standards and knows what it takes to put them into practice."

Oath's approach to technology changes how auditors gather and check information while preserving the independent judgment that makes an audit valuable. The new board will provide external perspectives on Oath's audit methods and quality management, helping the firm consider how new ways of working meet the profession's standards.

"Technology is changing how audits are done. That makes professional judgment and a strong quality management system more important, not less," said Lord. "Oath is building quality into the firm from the ground up. I'm glad to help advise the firm as it grows."

Lord's appointment adds to a team of established audit professionals working alongside financial technology builders. Christina Ho, Oath's Chief Assurance Officer, previously served on the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), the regulator overseeing audits of public companies. Her experience shaping audit policy and examining how the profession can modernize informs Oath's approach to quality. AI Audit Lead Asma Surani brings experience as a senior manager at EY and in assurance leadership at BDO. They work alongside Ward, a co-founder of insurance company Kin.

"We ask businesses to recognize the value of an independent perspective on their work, and we believe the same applies to us," said Ho. "We have an opportunity to show how the profession can embrace new technology while strengthening the principles that make its work trustworthy. Sara's perspective will help us put those principles into practice as we build Oath."

Lord brings nearly 30 years of public accounting experience spanning the development of audit standards and their application in practice. She previously chaired the AICPA's Auditing Standards Board, which sets auditing standards for U.S. private companies, and served as Chief Auditor of RSM US LLP, where she led audit methodology and oversaw quality management and audit technology. She also served on RSM's Board of Directors and the PCAOB's Standards and Emerging Issues Advisory Group. She holds the NACD Directorship Certification.

Lord is the first appointment to the Quality Advisory Board, which will advise Oath CPAs PLLC, the separate legal entity that provides Oath's audit services. The firm launched its audit practice on May 28, 2026, bringing Oath's technology and the judgment of licensed CPAs together to serve businesses.

About Oath Verified

Oath Verified checks the numbers businesses run on. Built on a financial proof platform, Oath verifies company data alongside the systems producing the numbers. Founded by Kin co-founder Lucas Ward, with former PCAOB board member Christina Ho leading assurance, Oath pairs fintech builders with audit policy veterans to serve venture and private equity funds, employee benefit plans, nonprofits, and private companies. Sony Electronics to Launch RIALTO 65 Camera Extension System, Expanding the VENICE 2 Camera to the 65mm Format

Enabling Image Expression in Ways That Only Large Format Makes Possible

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Sony Electronics will launch the RIALTO 65 Camera Extension System (CBK-6510XS) for the VENICE 2 CineAlta camera, expected to be available in the first half of 2027. Equipped with a 65mm image sensor with a 1.5:1 aspect ratio[1], RIALTO 65 expands VENICE 2 to the 65mm format[2].

Among the largest image sensors used in commercially available cinema cameras[3], RIALTO 65 incorporates a sensor measuring 53.75 mm wide by 35.83 mm high, with a diagonal of approximately 64.60 mm. Taking advantage of the wide imaging area approximately 2.2 times larger than that of a 35mm full-frame image sensor, the system richly renders the presence of people, the sense of distance between subject and background, and spatial depth. This makes it possible to naturally emphasize the main subject even within an expansive field of view and create image expression that draws audiences into the image.

RIALTO 65 supports two modes to provide great flexibility while shooting: Extension Mode, in which the camera head is separated from the VENICE 2 body, as well as Studio Mode, in which the camera head is attached directly to the body. The system accommodates shooting situations that have been difficult with conventional large camera systems, including shooting in confined spaces and handheld shooting.

In addition, users can take advantage of the many benefits of the well-known VENICE 2 system, such as color science, internal recording in 16-bit X-OCN, established operability, and existing workflows. This expands shooting possibilities into new areas of expression while allowing users to continue using their existing VENICE 2 systems.

"We're excited to explore the 65mm visual format in ways never done before with the new RIALTO 65 extension system," said Yang Cheng, Senior Vice President, Imaging Solutions, Sony Electronics Inc. "As we grow our lineup of extension systems that enhance freedom and flexibility, we look forward to showcasing our commitment to the scope and deep expression of large format filmmaking by providing our VENICE 2 customers with more sensor options."

Key Features of RIALTO 65

Rich Image Expression That Renders People and Space with a 65mm Sensor

RIALTO 65 is a compact and lightweight camera head measuring approximately 115 mm x 154 mm x 63 mm (W x H x D) and weighing approximately 3.3 lbs. The system supports 9.6K 1.5:1 Open Gate readout, enabling flexible framing that takes advantage of the sensor's wide imaging area. It also supports a 9.6K 2.20:1 readout mode with a diagonal of approximately 59.04 mm, which accommodates a wider range of lenses [4]. Additional readout modes will be introduced through future software updates to the VENICE 2 body[5].

Users can select Base ISO from ISO 2500 or ISO 10000 according to the shooting environment and creative intent. At Base ISO 2500, RIALTO 65 delivers 15+ stops of latitude. In scenes with high contrast and under a wide range of lighting conditions, the system reproduces rich gradation from highlights to shadows, enabling image creation in line with the cinematographer's intent.

Greater Freedom and Flexibility with Extension Mode and Studio Mode

Although it is a system that supports the 65mm format, this compact and lightweight camera head can be placed close to a subject or installed in confined spaces or at elevated positions, especially when using Extension Mode. Even in Studio mode, the camera is only slightly longer than the VENICE 2 8K/6K. These options provide flexibility in shooting positions and angles that have tended to be restricted with conventional 65mm format camera systems. When in Extension mode, the cable connecting the camera head and the VENICE 2 body is designed for ease of handling on set. It can be detached at both the camera-head end and the camera-body end, making setup and integration into equipment easier. The system supports 14.76 ft and 39.37 ft cables[6], allowing users to select a cable according to the shooting environment. In addition, camera tilt and roll information can be recorded as metadata and utilized in post-production workflows.

CineAlta Image Creation and the VENICE 2 Workflow

The VENICE 2 system combined with RIALTO 65 carries forward the color science developed for CineAlta which includes natural color reproduction, smooth skin-tone gradation, tonal expression with S-Log3, and the wide color gamut of S-Gamut3. Even in high-resolution shooting, the system balances image quality and efficient data operation with X-OCN.

Because the VENICE 2 body handles the primary functions, including recording, users can continue to use the AXS memory cards used with VENICE 2. This enables a smooth transition to shooting in the 65mm format while continuing to use existing operability, recording media assets, peripherals, and production workflows.

Practical Production Flexibility for Lens Selection, Anamorphic Shooting, and ND Operation

RIALTO 65 does not include a lens mount and is designed to accept third-party lens-mount adapters based on the needs of the production and the lens being used. Users can select from a variety of lenses, including lenses for the 65mm format. When using a lens and lens-mount adapter that supports communication with the camera, lens information such as focal length, focus position, and aperture value can be recorded as metadata. This information can be used in production processes such as editing, VFX, and virtual production.

When using anamorphic lenses, users can use de-squeeze display for multiple magnification ratios and the Zoom to Fit function to confirm the field of view and composition according to the lens being used.

The system also includes 11 types of drop-in ND (neutral density) filters equipped with electronic contacts. VENICE 2 automatically recognizes the density information of an ND filter inserted into RIALTO 65.

Optional Accessories

CBK-NDK6510 ND Filter Kit

This product is a set of 11 drop-in ND filters equivalent to those included with RIALTO 65. Individual filters of a specific density cannot be purchased separately.

Availability: Tentatively first half of 2027

Price: $8,000.00 USD MSPR / $11,380.00 CAD MSRP

CBK-12C6510 39.37 ft Cable

The included 14.76 ft cable can be replaced with an optional 39.37 ft cable. This allows the RIALTO 65 camera head to be installed farther away from the VENICE 2 body and accommodates a variety of shooting situations.

Availability: Tentatively first half of 2027

Price: $9,000.00 USD MSPR / $12,800.00 CAD MSRP

NEW YORK, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Pomerantz LLP announces that a class action lawsuit has been filed against Celsius Holdings, Inc. ("Celsius" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: CELH) and certain officers.â¯â¯ The class action, filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and docketed under 26-cv-62465, is on behalf of a class consisting of all persons and entities other than Defendants that purchased or otherwise acquired Celsius securities between February 21, 2025 and June 3, 2026, both dates inclusive (the "Class Period"), seeking to recover damages caused by Defendants' violations of the federal securities laws and to pursue remedies under Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 10b-5 promulgated thereunder, against the Company and certain of its top officials.

Celsius develops, processes, manufactures, markets, sells, and distributes products including energy drinks.

On April 1, 2025, Celsius closed the acquisition of Alani Nutrition LLC ("Alani Nu"), a maker of highly caffeinated energy drinks (described in greater detail below), for a net purchase price of $1.65 billion, comprised of cash and stock.

At all relevant times, Defendants represented that their products, including specifically Alani Nu drinks, were safe and healthy. For example, as of the time this Complaint was filed, Alani Nu's website continues to represent that "we use ingredients you can feel good about without compromising taste."

However, in contrast to Defendants' representations, Alani Nu drinks present serious risks due to the amount of caffeine they contain. A single 12-ounce Alani Nu drink contains 200 milligrams of caffeine, more than other popular energy drinks and more than twice the 100-milligram daily limit of caffeine recommended for teenagers and children aged 12 to 17, according to leading bodies of pediatricians and adolescent psychiatrists. The Center for Disease Control has stated that consumption of energy drinks in this age range can lead to cardiovascular issues ranging from irregular heartbeat to heart failure.

Alani Nu drinks have previously been the subject of regulatory action. In August of 2023, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency warned Canadians "[d]o not consume, use, sell, serve, or distribute" Alani Nu energy drinks, stating that the drinks "are being recalled from the marketplace due to various non-compliances related to caffeine content and labelling requirements." Specifically, Alani Nu's caffeine content exceeded Canada's legal limit of 180 milligrams for a single-serving energy drink.

Despite the risks that Alani Nu drinks present to consumers under the age of 18, Defendants at all relevant times have marketed these drinks to such consumers despite asserting their purported commitment not to do so. Alani Nu drinks are packaged in dynamic, bright colors, and Alani Nu actively recruits college students to join the "Alani Ambassadors" program and market Alani Nu products using their profiles on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. As of the filing of this Complaint, the Alani Nu website even concedes that Defendants work with individuals whose social media audiences are comprised up to 25% of individuals under the age of 18.

While the labels on Alani Nu energy drinks state the amount of caffeine one can contains and generally state that they are "not recommended for consumption by children", they contain no similar cautionary language with respect to teenagers.

The complaint alleges that, throughout the Class Period, Defendants made materially false and misleading statements regarding the Company's business, operations, and compliance policies. Specifically, Defendants made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (i) Defendants' products failed to adequately disclose the cardiac risks of consuming Alani Nu products; (ii) by marketing Alani Nu drinks to consumers under the age of 18, the Company was marketing its products to individuals who were particularly susceptible to known health risks posed by those products; (iii) the foregoing created a non-speculative risk that Alani Nu consumers would suffer potentially fatal adverse health events; (iv) the foregoing, once revealed, was likely to have a significant negative impact on the Company's business and reputation; and (v) as a result, Defendants' public statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times.

The truth began to emerge on April 9, 2026, when NBC News and local news outlet MyRGV (Rio Grande Valley) reported that the family of 17-year old Texas cheerleader Larissa Rodriguez had filed a wrongful death lawsuit in Hidalgo County District Court against Glazer's Beer and Beverage, LLC ("Glazer's") and Glazer's Beer and Beverage of Texas, LLC, two distributors of Alani Nu. The family alleged that Rodriguez died from an enlarged heart caused by drinking Alani Nu energy drinks and that the drinks "had inadequate warnings about the serious cardiac risks" of drinking Alani Nu. According to NBC News, Celsius stated in response, inter alia, "our policy is not to market or sample to anyone under 18".

On this news, Celsius's stock price fell $1.52 per share, or 4.18%, to close at $34.86 on April 10, 2026.

Then, on June 4, 2026, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton ("Paxton") announced an investigation into Celsius over concerns that its high-caffeine energy drinks are being marketed to children and teens. Per Attorney General Paxton's announcement, the investigation will specifically examine whether Celsius and its Alani Nu subsidiary had violated the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act by misrepresenting the safety of their products.

On news of the investigation, Celsius's stock price fell $2.26 per share, or 7.53%, to close at $27.75 per share on June 4, 2026.
