Three groundbreaking products, including Fendt's first global tractor launch in the U.S., underscore the brand's commitment to the North American market.

BOONE, Iowa, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- AGCO (NYSE: AGCO), today announced the global launches of the Fendt™ 1100 Vario™ MT Gen2 Track Tractor and the Fendt Momentum™ 80-Foot Planter, as well as the North American debut of the Fendt 300 Vario™ Gen5 at the 2026 Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa. Staging its global tractor and planter launches in North America marks a deliberate signal of the company's growth agenda for the region. Together, the three products continue Fendt's expansion of a full-line portfolio and advance a common goal of improving productivity across the entire farming operation, from planting to harvest.

Fendt's exhibit at the 2026 Farm Progress Show showcased the global launches of (from left to right) the 1100 Vario MT Gen 2 Track Tractor and Momentum 80-Foot Planter, along with the North American debut of the 300 Vario Gen5 tractor.

"Hosting our first global tractor launch in the U.S. reflects the investments AGCO and Fendt are making in this region," said Stefan Caspari, Senior Vice President, Customer Success & North American Ag, AGCO. "North American farmers measure equipment on power, productivity, efficiency and total cost of ownership, which is why Farm Progress Show is the right stage to debut the new Fendt 1100 Vario MT. And Gold Star Customer Care is our commitment in writing, protecting uptime and the Fendt ownership experience."

Fendt 1100 Vario MT Gen2 Track Tractor

The Fendt 1100 Vario MT Gen2 Track Tractor anchors Fendt's expanding North American lineup, delivering tremendous power, productivity and versatility in high-horsepower applications. A reinforced transmission accommodates the horsepower boost, making this top-of-the-range model Fendt's most powerful tractor equipped with a VarioDrive™ transmission. VarioDrive and the Fendt iD™ low-speed concept combine high power reserves and efficient power transfer with lower fuel consumption, saving farmers money. SmartRide™ suspension technology improves comfort across uneven terrain while the steerable drawbar or three-point now actively moves based on steering input, increasing tractive power and maneuverability.

A new cab with the FendtONE™ operating system adds intuitive controls, advanced technology integration and a new lighting concept for greater field visibility. A new passive cab air filter cleaning system continuously removes dust, reducing maintenance demands in harsh environments. Fendt's extensive Gold Star Customer Care backs every unit with three years or 3,000 hours of warranty, scheduled maintenance, loaner availability and parts guarantee.

Fendt Momentum 80-Foot Planter

Fendt has further expanded its award-winning Momentum planter lineup with a global launch of the new Momentum 80-Foot, 32-Row Planter with 30-inch spacing (32R30). The largest Momentum planter ever offered, the 32R30 is designed for large-scale farming operations seeking greater productivity and efficiency.

The 32R30 covers more acres per day and reduces tendering frequency with standard 130-bushel high-capacity seed and 1,000-gallon fertilizer tanks. It combines Fendt's SmartFrame™ technology, factory-integrated Precision Planting™ systems and optional Load Logic™ weight management with a new five-section Vertically Contouring Toolbar to improve planting accuracy across rolling and uneven terrain, protecting yield potential and return on every seed. Gold Star Customer Care covers three years or 16,000 acres, whichever occurs first.

"Large-scale growers need to cover more acres in tighter windows without sacrificing the precision that drives yield potential," said Jason Lee, Senior Marketing Manager, Planters, Fendt North America. "The Fendt Momentum 32R30 maximizes agronomic performance and efficiency to achieve better yields, making every seed count."

Fendt 300 Vario Gen5

The new Fendt 300 Vario Gen5 line brings premium precision technology to the compact class, adding five models, including the new 310 Vario, which delivers 113–152 horsepower with DynamicPerformance™ (DP). Now available across the entire series, DP automatically supplies an additional 10 horsepower for auxiliary needs such as air conditioning. All models include Gold Star Customer Care, the FendtONE operating system and optional smart farming capabilities such as guidance, ISOBUS, telemetry and automated headland management.

The new updates include the latest generation of the Cargo and Cargo Profi front loaders, supported by a new hydraulic system with independent valves. Other benefits include GroundVision lighting for night work, a redesigned hood with daytime running lights and a new swivel seat.

"The Fendt 300 series has a long history of key innovations like our VarioDrive CVT, suspension systems and unmatched fuel efficiency," said Daniel Smith, Senior Strategic Marketing Manager, Fendt North America. "The Gen5 packs all of that into a compact size with an intuitive, high-tech driver's station that puts farmers first."

Product Launch Dates

The Fendt 1100 Vario MT Gen2 Track Tractor and the 300 Vario Gen5 are now available for order with first deliveries beginning in 2027. The Momentum 80-Foot Planter opens to limited orders in fall 2026, with deliveries in spring 2027.

Additional Fendt updates unveiled at Farm Progress Show include:

New 60 kph (40 mph) transport option, coming in late 2026

First-time appearances of 500 Vario Gen4 and 800 Vario Gen5 at Farm Progress Show

Fendt will also host its first-ever international press conference at the trade show in the AGCO booth #1002 on Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 9:00 a.m. Central Time.

Home for Life Design®, creator of the Home for Life Design Accessibility Ratings®, makes the case for a national home accessibility standard, backed by peer-reviewed reliability and validity studies, published program outcomes, and use inside HUD-funded programs.

SALISBURY, N.C., Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- American healthcare is increasingly relocating into the home, yet fewer than 4 percent of U.S. homes provide the basic accessibility features of a no-step entry, single-floor living, and wide halls and doorways, according to the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies. Home for Life Design®, creator of the Home for Life Design Accessibility Ratings®, today published the case for a consistent national method of measuring whether a home supports safe, independent living.

The shift is accelerating. The U.S. population age 65 and older is projected to reach approximately 73 million by 2030, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, and one in four adults over age 65 falls each year, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Hospital-at-home programs, value-based payment models, and Medicaid home- and community-based services are moving clinical care into living rooms, bathrooms, and kitchens that were never measured for it.

The Home for Life Design Accessibility Ratings® are standardized, research-validated scores of how safely and confidently a person can function in their home. Built from occupational-therapy science and data from thousands of client homes, the Ratings can be captured in any home, tracked before and after modification, and compared across a program or population.

The instrument is documented in peer-reviewed research. A study published in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy in 2019 reported inter-rater reliability of .92 among occupational-therapist raters, and the finding was replicated with 52 raters in research published in 2023. A 2025 study reported content-validity indices ranging from .875 to 1.0 across the rating items, and a 2023 study evaluated use of the instrument in virtual, telehealth-based assessment. In a 2026 mixed-methods study of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Older Adult Home Modification Program, published in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy, homes assessed with the Ratings before and after modification showed a 52 percent improvement in accessibility scores and a 48 percent improvement in safety scores.

HUD's evaluation of the same program reports that basic accessibility modifications average $5,400 per client as a one-time cost; assisted living averages about $5,900 per month.

"Healthcare has moved into the home faster than anyone imagined. Surgical recovery, chronic care, whole lives now depend on living rooms and bathrooms that no one ever measured," said Carolyn Sithong, MS, OTR/L, SCEM, CAPS, FAOTA, founder and CEO of Home for Life Design and a 25-year occupational therapist. "The home does one of two things: it enables function, or it disables it. There is no neutral. For the first time, we can measure which one, and that changes what every family, every agency, and every health plan can do next."

The measurement is already proving itself where programs meet funders. When Finger Lakes Community Action used the Ratings to score homes before and after modifications under the HUD program's funding, the resulting data helped the program demonstrate outcomes and secure continued funding. The Ratings are in use by organizations including the NYC Department of the Aging, the Virginia Department of Aging and Rehabilitative Services, Inglis in Philadelphia, and Area Agencies on Aging, Centers for Independent Living, and housing organizations across more than 30 states.

About Home for Life Design®. Home for Life Design® is a home assessment software platform that generates the Home for Life Design Accessibility Ratings®: standardized, research-validated scores of home accessibility and independent-living readiness, used by agencies, universities, and independent-living programs across the country. The company was founded by Carolyn Sithong, creator of the Ratings, CAPS Designee of the Year, and former statewide lead of AARP's HomeFit program in Florida. Learn more at homeforlifedesign.com.

AVON, Ohio, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- K1 Speed, the world's premier indoor go-kart operator, today announces the opening of K1 Speed Cleveland, the company's third location in the state of Ohio.

Upgrading Cleveland's Entertainment Scene

The indoor go-karting track at K1 Speed Cleveland features a stock car on display inside the safety barriers.

The all-weather, 70,000-square-foot facility provides the Cleveland community with a brand-new indoor amusement venue. Cleveland families can enjoy racing electric OTL go-karts on a 1,300-foot track, followed by arcade games, then food and drinks in the Paddock Lounge, K1 Speed's on-site restaurant.

"Our new center in Avon is ready to welcome guests from across the greater Cleveland area," said K1 Speed Co-Founder and CMO Susan Danglard. "We look forward to hosting birthday parties, company events and special gatherings as we build lasting connections within the local community."

While providing entertainment for the general public, the facility also creates around 40 jobs for the city of Avon, helping boost Lorain County's economy.

Driver Safety

OTL's Italian karts give each guest an authentic and memorable racing experience. The Adult Superleggero, for racers at least 58 inches tall, is capable of 45 mph, while Junior karts for racers at least 48 inches tall can reach 20 mph. Equipped with a roll bar and a four-point safety harness, OTL does not compromise on driver well-being, making their karts reliable, safe additions to the Arrive & Drive rental karting experience.

Path to Pro Motorsport

Competitive racing is available via Challenge GP, K1 Speed's international karting structure for juniors, teens and adults. Each racer competes at their local center with the chance to advance to state, national and international competition. The Cleveland location will take part in the Porsche Motorsport North America Talent Search, which selects two standout drivers from the national level. One teen and one adult racer will earn a waived entry fee for a future season of either Porsche Sprint Challenge North America by Yokohama or Porsche Sprint Challenge USA West by Yokohama, offering a direct transition from indoor karting to professional-level sports car racing.

Off-Track Action

The Avon center features a selection of over 20 arcade games for entertainment off the track, including air hockey, claw machines, prize games and, of course, racing games.

The Paddock Lounge sits trackside, offering guests a full restaurant menu of quality dishes with a view of the indoor karting action. Paddock Lounge beverage options will soon include beer and wine for guests 21 and older, who've finished racing for the day.

Private Event Room: Parties feature our reserved event room for intimate celebrations and unique, lasting memories.

Facility Rentals: Full facility rentals are a popular choice for corporate events and can be booked by talking with an Event Specialist.

Veteran Wealth Management Executive Will Lead Technology Strategy Focused on Integration, AI and Creating a Unified Advisor Experience

ATLANTA, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Merit Financial Advisors ("Merit"), a Georgia-based financial advisory firm specializing in financial planning and wealth management solutions for high-net-worth individuals and families and those navigating life transitions, today announced the appointment of John Rajes as Chief Technology Officer, further strengthening the firm's executive leadership team as Merit continues to invest in the people, technology and infrastructure needed to support its rapid national expansion.

With more than $30.1 billion in assets across more than 55 offices nationwide, Merit has become one of the wealth management industry's most active growth firms, completing 61 acquisitions to date, including nine partnerships in 2026. Rajes' appointment reflects Merit's broader strategy of building the leadership structure and enterprise capabilities necessary to support that growth while continuing to enhance the experience for its advisors and clients.

Rajes, who joined Merit on July 13, will oversee the firm's enterprise technology strategy, including technology architecture, integrations, data, artificial intelligence and the continued development of a more unified digital experience for Merit's advisors and employees.

"Merit has experienced tremendous growth, and we have been very intentional about making sure our leadership structure and infrastructure evolve along with the organization," said Chrissy Lee, Chief Operating Officer of Merit Financial Advisors. "Technology is now central to virtually every aspect of how we support our advisors, integrate new teams and create scale across the firm. John brings the wealth management experience, technology expertise and strategic perspective we need to connect the investments we are making today with a much broader roadmap for where Merit is going."

Rajes' appointment is the latest in a series of strategic leadership investments by Merit designed to build greater specialization and executive capacity ahead of continued growth.

Earlier this year, Merit appointed Doug Moore as Chief Financial Officer to oversee the strategic financial operations and infrastructure supporting the firm's organic and acquisition growth and named Sarah Mouser, CFP®, Executive Vice President of Financial Planning, a newly dedicated leadership role focused on centralizing and scaling financial planning capabilities across Merit's growing national footprint. Merit has also added Alex Hansen as Chief Advisor Success Officer, another newly created role designed to strengthen the connection between the firm's advisors and executive leadership and help advisors more fully leverage Merit's resources, technology and platform.

Together, the hires reflect a deliberate strategy of adding experienced, specialized leaders in areas Merit believes will be critical to building what the firm describes as the wealth management firm of the future.

Rajes brings extensive financial services and wealth management experience to Merit, having held leadership positions at firms including LPL Financial, UBS, Barclays and Goldman Sachs. Most recently, he operated an independent consulting practice. Previously, as Head of Strategic Partnerships at LPL Financial, Rajes was responsible for the firm's fintech partnership ecosystem of approximately 90 providers, as well as investment product partnerships spanning asset managers, insurance companies and separately managed account providers.

At Merit, one of Rajes' early priorities is developing a technology roadmap designed around greater integration, scalability and simplicity. That includes bringing together the data and capabilities residing across Merit's technology ecosystem so advisors can spend less time moving among individual systems and more time serving clients.

"Technology becomes more important as an organization grows, but simply adding more technology isn't the answer," said Rajes. "The opportunity is to bring the pieces together in a way that creates a dramatically better experience and allows the organization to scale. Merit already has a strong foundation. Now we can build on it by connecting our data, integrations and AI capabilities in ways that make information more useful, accessible and actionable for advisors and employees."

Rajes describes his approach as innovating both "at the core and at the edges." At the core are data and integrations, ensuring information can move effectively throughout the organization and that Merit captures greater value from the technology it already uses. At the edges are the advisor and employee experiences, including emerging AI capabilities, that can make those underlying investments more powerful.

The strategy takes on added importance as Merit continues to grow both organically and through acquisitions. Each new partnership brings additional advisors, clients, workflows and, in some cases, technology platforms into the organization. Creating a more integrated enterprise technology environment is therefore an important component of Merit's ability to onboard firms efficiently, deliver a consistent advisor experience and create scale without adding unnecessary complexity.

"Our growth strategy has always been about much more than completing transactions," Lee said. "We want to make sure that when great firms choose Merit, we have the leadership, technology, resources and support infrastructure to help them become even stronger. Building that foundation ahead of where we expect the business to go is a critical part of our long-term strategy."

That philosophy mirrors what Merit's newest partner firms have said they are seeking. In announcing its recent acquisition of the $900 million Bridgeway Group in Southern California, Merit highlighted the importance of providing growing advisory firms with greater technology, operational, marketing and growth resources while enabling advisors to spend more time serving clients. The Bridgeway transaction marked Merit's 61st acquisition and its ninth partnership of 2026.

Rajes' role will also create greater specialization within Merit's technology and product organization. He will focus on the firm's overall technology strategy, infrastructure and implementation, working alongside Chief Product Officer Brian Green, whose responsibilities center on product strategy and development. Both report to Lee.

"As Merit has grown, technology and product have each become significant enough to require dedicated leadership," Lee said. "Having strong leaders focused on each area gives us the ability to move faster while being much more intentional about how everything works together. It is the right structure for the size of Merit today and, even more importantly, for the organization we intend to become."

Advisor adoption will also be central to the strategy. Merit plans to involve advisors throughout the development process, gathering feedback and incorporating advisor needs into technology initiatives rather than introducing solutions only after they have been built.

Rajes said that collaborative approach and Merit's culture was a significant factor in his decision to join the firm.

"The opportunity to have an outsized impact at a firm growing as quickly as Merit was incredibly compelling," said Rajes. "But equally important to me was the culture. There are many firms growing in wealth management. The question is where you believe you can thrive and who you want to thrive with. I saw in Merit a culture, leadership team and ambition that made this a particularly exciting opportunity."

Rajes is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and will also spend significant time at Merit's Alpharetta, Georgia headquarters.

AMSTERDAM and TURIN, Italy, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Canopy International B.V. ("Canopy International"), the European platform of Canopy Aerospace & Defense ("Canopy A&D"), today announced the acquisition of Aviotec S.r.l. ("Aviotec"), a Turin-based supplier of multi-layer insulation (MLI) blankets and electrical harnesses for satellites and spacecraft, with in-house design, analysis, manufacturing, and integration capabilities serving institutional and commercial space programs across Europe.

Aviotec headquarters in Turin, where the company designs and manufactures advanced thermal protection and electrical systems for satellite and spacecraft applications.

Their clean-room facility in Turin and their depth in thermal protection and harnessing strengthen our platform in exactly the area we needed. Aviotec now has the engineering, R&D, and supply-chain resources of a larger organization behind it."

Barbara Barresi, Amministratore Delegato of Aviotec, added: "Becoming part of Canopy International gives our team access to resources and technical depth we could not have built on our own. LOS ANGELES, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Tiger Commercial & Industrial (C&I) has completed the sale of a portfolio of high-precision fabrication and assembly machinery and equipment (M&E), along with finished products and raw materials, from two U.S. plants.

Conducted on behalf of the secured creditors, the online auction featured M&E from the former Alpharetta, Georgia, and Dallas, Texas, facilities of Auzmet, a national manufacturer of exterior building solutions such as composite metal panels, architectural façades and insulated wall panels.

Tiger marketed a broad mix of equipment from the two facilities, including CNC routers, electro-mechanical plate shears, CNC folding machines, electro-pneumatic saws, and smart routers by brands such as Miller, Lincoln Electric, FomIndustrie, Schechtl and Schlebach.

Bidders in the 415-lot sale vied for plant-support M&E and rolling stock by brands such as Kaesar, Chevy and Mitsubishi, along with raw materials and finished-goods inventory originally valued at more than $1 million.

Tiger's in-house auction and operations team leveraged its proprietary database of repeat buyers in composites manufacturing to drive demand across the offering, managing the entire sale and removal process across both facilities within a tight 30-day deadline set by the landlord.

"Our years of experience with aluminum fabrication equipment—including large-format panel builders from AXYZ Automation Group and units from Schechtl and Durma—gave us the ability to execute and quickly monetize the collateral," said Jonathan Holiday, Senior Director of Tiger Commercial & Industrial. "The end result was a robust recovery for the secured creditors in a fraction of the usual timeframe."

New certification program gives Applied Systems' agencies a tested integration and a

faster path to implementing Quandri's AI-driven insurance automation platform.

VANCOUVER, BC, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Quandri, the AI platform for insurance agencies and brokerages, has been selected as one of the inaugural certified vendors in Applied Systems' new Vendor Certification Program.

The program establishes an integration standard for certified third-party technologies, providing Applied customers a faster, lower-cost way to activate Quandri in their environments. Quandri is one of 11 technology providers included in the program's initial group of certified integrations.

"We have worked alongside Applied for many years. Becoming a certified vendor formalizes the integration our teams have been building on for a long time. What this changes for agencies is speed to and ease of implementation," said Jackson Fregeau, CEO and co-founder of Quandri. "The gap between the service agencies want to deliver and the service they have capacity to deliver usually comes down to time spent on administrative work. Quandri closes that gap, freeing account managers to focus on the client relationships that drive retention and revenue."

Quandri serves hundreds of agencies and brokerages across North America and has been recognized on the CB Insights InsurTech 50 and named to Deloitte Technology's Fast 50. As the platform expands, Quandri continues to help agencies and brokerages operate more efficiently while delivering stronger outcomes for both advisors and their clients.

About Quandri
