Grace Nuhfer, médaillée d'argent aux Jeux paralympiques, participera vendredi à l'événement « The Big Jump ».

Cyngn Announces Organizational Realignment to Accelerate Enterprise Growth and AI-Driven Efficiency

Original HTML

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Cyngn Inc. (Nasdaq: CYN), a leader in autonomous industrial vehicle technology, today shared an update from its CEO on the organizational, commercial, and product initiatives underway to sharpen the company's focus on enterprise customers and position Cyngn for its next phase of growth.

To our shareholders, customers, and partners,

I want to begin by thanking you for your continued support and confidence in Cyngn. Cyngn exists to help the world's largest industrial operations move materials autonomously, safely, and efficiently. As we've grown our enterprise pipeline and deepened our relationships with logistics, manufacturing, and warehousing customers, we have sharpened how we operate, doing more with the right team, the right tools, and a clearer product focus.

A Leaner Organization, Built to Harness Artificial Intelligence

We streamlined our organizational structure and reduced management layers, consolidating responsibilities and realigning resources around our highest-priority product, customer, and commercial initiatives. Flattening a layer of management and consolidating product and engineering teams shortens the distance between decision-making and execution and puts more of our resources directly against product and customer work. Combined with an expanded use of AI-assisted tools across engineering and business operations, from software development and simulation to sales operations and customer support, we believe this leaner structure lets us move faster with fewer handoffs, while improving our cost structure and extending our runway. We view this AI fluency a part of our DNA, not as a one-time efficiency gain but as a durable capability that will keep compounding as our teams get more comfortable with these tools.

Data Driven Sales Execution

We have also raised the bar on our commercial execution. We implemented changes to our sales leadership and processes, introduced data driven revenue operations, with a sharper focus on opportunity qualification, pipeline accountability, and the customers and applications best aligned with the capabilities and value proposition of our DriveMod Tugger. We believe this discipline will translate customer interest into scalable, repeatable deployments more consistently than before.

Strengthened Governance and Compliance

We've continued to strengthen our corporate governance, including our external audit and legal partnerships with Baker Tilly US, LLP, our independent registered public accounting firm, and Kaufman & Canoles, our corporate and securities legal counsel.

We expect to complete our SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certification efforts by the end of 2026, further supporting the financial reporting, security, and legal infrastructure behind our growth.

We're also watching the regulatory environment continue to shift in ways that favor the U.S.-based robotics and physical AI manufacturers, reinforcing our position as a domestic developer of autonomous industrial and Artificial Intelligence technology.

A leaner and more AI-enabled organization, a sharpened commercial process, and a focused enterprise product roadmap are all in service of the same goal: building Cyngn into the trusted autonomy partner for industrial customers at scale.

Thank you for being part of our journey. I look forward to keeping you updated as we execute against these goals.

Sincerely, Lior Tal Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Cyngn Inc.

UNCY Stockholder Alert: Shareholder Rights Law Firm Robbins LLP Reminds Investors of the Class Action Lawsuit Against Unicycive Therapeutics, Inc.
Image File
Original HTML

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Shareholder rights law firm Robbins LLP reminds investors that a class action was filed on behalf of persons and entities who purchased or otherwise acquired Unicycive Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: UNCY) securities between December 29, 2025 and June 29, 2026. Unicycive is a clinical-stage biotechnology company that identifies, develops, and commercializes therapies for the treatment of kidney diseases.

The complaint alleges that Unicycive failed to properly inspect its third-party vendor's manufacturing facility to ensure it resolved the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's ("FDA") previously noted deficiencies.

Investors who suffered significant losses during the Class Period may be eligible to participate in the lawsuit and should contact Robbins LLP before the November 2, 2026, lead plaintiff deadline.

Why Was Unicycive Sued?

According to the complaint, Unicycive submitted a New Drug Application ("NDA") for its kidney disease therapy, oxylanthanum carbonate ("OLC"), to the FDA in September 2024. The NDA was accepted by the FDA in November 2024. In June 2025, the FDA issued a Complete Response Letter ("CRL") citing deficiencies at a third-party manufacturing vendor. Following the CRL, Unicycive held a Type A meeting with the FDA in October 2025 to discuss the single deficiency related to the third-party manufacturing vendor's compliance status. After receiving official meeting minutes and engaging with the vendor, Unicycive resubmitted the NDA in December 2025.

Plaintiff alleges that, during the class period, defendants failed to disclose to investors:

(1) that the Company had not inspected its third-party manufacturing vendor's facility or otherwise audited the facility's compliance with current good manufacturing practices;

(2) that, as a result, the Company lacked a reasonable basis to believe that the vendor had resolved the FDA's cited deficiencies;

(3) that there was an undisclosed risk that the FDA would require additional information about the vendor's facility's manufacturing practices;

(4) that, as a result, the regulatory approval of OLC was reasonably likely to be delayed; and

(5) that, as a result of the foregoing, defendants' positive statements about the Company's business, operations, and prospects were materially misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis.

Why Did UNCY Stock Drop?

On June 30, 2026, before the market opened, Unicycive disclosed that the FDA had issued a CRL regarding the Company's resubmitted NDA for OLC, identifying the "same third-party manufacturing deficiencies that were identified in the previous CRL issued in June 2025."

On this news, Unicycive's stock price fell $3.01, or 39.1%, to close at $4.69 per share on June 30, 2026, on unusually heavy trading volume.

Who May Be Eligible to Participate in the Unicycive Class Action?

The lawsuit seeks to represent investors who purchased or otherwise acquired Unicycive Therapeutics, Inc. securities between December 29, 2025 and June 29, 2026. Investors who suffered losses during that period may have legal rights under the federal securities laws.

What Is a Lead Plaintiff?

The lead plaintiff is a court-appointed investor who represents the interests of all class members throughout the litigation. Serving as lead plaintiff is not required to share in any potential recovery. Investors who do not seek appointment may remain absent class members if the case proceeds and later resolves successfully.

Stockholders who wish to lead the class action should contact Robbins LLP before the November 2, 2026, lead plaintiff deadline.

Does it cost anything to participate?

No. Robbins LLP represents investors on a contingency fee basis.

PuroClean's Franchise Development Momentum Accelerates as a New Generation of Entrepreneurs Fuels 2026 Growth

Strong Unit-Level Economics and a Needs-Based, B2B Model Are Driving Reinvestment and Drawing Entrepreneurs Seeking Portfolio Diversification into the PuroClean System

Key takeaways:

- 20% of PuroClean's unit growth in 2026 has come from existing Franchise Owners reinvesting in additional territories

- A PuroClean Franchise Owner surpassed $20 million in gross sales from a single location for the first time in the brand's history*

- PuroClean's franchise development strategy is prioritizing entrepreneurs from the quick-service restaurant (QSR), hospitality, and retail spaces, among other multi-unit operators, as candidates for vertical integration into the brand

TAMARAC, Fla., Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- PuroClean, the largest privately owned, commercial-focused restoration franchise with industry-leading unit-level economics, is continuing a strong year of growth with a run of franchise development milestones including a growing share of multi-unit ownership, and a franchise system that is attracting experienced entrepreneurs focused on portfolio growth.

"Growth like this doesn't happen by accident. It happens because we've built the operational infrastructure to support it," said PuroClean Steve White, President of PuroClean. "Whether it's a Franchise Owner adding additional territories or scaling towards record-setting sales, our job is to make sure the systems, training, and support behind them can grow just as fast as they do."

Multi-Unit Ownership Continues to Climb

Nearly half of all PuroClean Franchise Owners (44%) now operate multiple units, reinvesting in the brand as they scale. Just this year, 20% of PuroClean's unit growth has come from existing Franchise Owners adding territories, signaling strong confidence in the business model and the opportunity to scale within the PuroClean system.

A Track Record of Strong Unit-Level Performance

PuroClean entered 2026 on the heels of a record-setting performance, with a Franchise Owner surpassing $20 million in gross sales from a single location, a milestone that reinforces the strength of the brand's unit-level economics and the scalability of the PuroClean model. Results from the brand's onboarding and support programs are showing success across a broader group of Franchise Owners as they scale their businesses.

- New Franchise Owners reach their first job in an average of 45 days and those who enter the system without an employee make their first hire in an average of 27 days through the brand's PuroLaunch Program

- Franchise Owners with a dedicated sales representative average $1.4 million in revenue, with the top 10% average $5.9 million. **

"PuroClean has always been a needs-based business, and that is especially compelling for experienced operators looking to diversify their portfolios," said Brandon Mangual, Vice President of Franchise Development. "We already have successful Franchise Owners who came to PuroClean with experience operating brands like Dunkin', Subway, Hand & Stone, and Pizza Hut. We're building on that momentum by introducing more multi-unit business owners to restoration as a strategic vertical integration opportunity."

PuroClean is actively seeking enterprise builders, multi-unit operators, and franchisees from the QSR, retail, hospitality, home services, construction, HVAC, and plumbing sectors interested in adding a scalable, high-margin restoration business to their portfolio. More information on the franchise opportunity is available at purocleanfranchise.com.

*This figure represents the results of a single franchisee identified in Item 19 of our Franchise Disclosure Document ("FDD"). Individual financial performance will vary based on numerous factors. Prospective franchisees should carefully review the full FDD — including Item 19 — and consult with their own legal, financial, and business advisors before making any investment decision.

Auf dem richtigen Weg: Startchancen-Programm und Kita-SCQEG

Auf dem richtigen Weg: Startchancen-Programm und Kita-SCQEG

Berlin (ots)

Bochum / Hannover / Unna (ots)

Ersatzteilzentrum in Unna stärkt europäischen After-Sales-Service

Gleichzeitig will das Unternehmen in Hannover weitere Details seiner künftigen Europa-Strategie bekannt geben.

Ascletis Announces Initiation of Phase I Study in U.S. for Oral Amylin Receptor Peptide Agonist ASC36 for the Treatment of Obesity

- This trial marks the fourth Phase I peptide study for Ascletis this year.

- ASC36 oral tablets achieved absolute oral bioavailability of 6% to 8% at steady state in non-human primate (NHP) studies utilizing Ascletis' proprietary Peptide Oral Transport ENhancement Technology (POTENT).

- ASC36 oral tablets reduced mean body weight up to 13.2% from baseline after once-daily dosing for seven days in NHPs.

- ASC36 subcutaneous (SQ) injection demonstrated approximately 32% and 91% greater relative body weight reduction compared to eloralintide and petrelintide injection, respectively, in a head-to-head diet-induced obese (DIO) rat model.

- ASC36 oral tablets are expected to utilize a lower dose based on potentially better oral bioavailability and efficacy. This superior weight loss per milligram of ASC36 peptide may also provide scalability advantages in manufacturing.

HONG KONG, Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Ascletis Pharma Inc. (HKEX: 1672, "Ascletis") announces today that it has initiated a U.S. Phase I study of ASC36 oral tablets (oral amylin receptor peptide agonist) for the treatment of obesity after recently receiving Investigational New Drug (IND) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The Phase I study is designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of ASC36 following single and multiple ascending oral doses in 86 participants with obesity (body mass index (BMI) ≥ 30.0 kg/m²) or overweight (BMI ≥ 27.0 kg/m²).

"In 2026, we initiated four Phase I studies for our peptide pipeline, including ASC36 oral tablets, our fourth and most recent one, which represents a key milestone for Ascletis peptide pipeline and further validates our proprietary POTENT oral peptide delivery technology." said Jinzi Jason Wu, Ph.D., Founder, Chairman and CEO of Ascletis, "ASC36 has demonstrated compelling preclinical weight-loss efficacy, favorable oral bioavailability and a prolonged half-life. We believe an effective oral amylin receptor agonist could offer a convenient, differentiated option for people with obesity. Combined with our oral small molecule and long-acting injectable programs, ASC36 further strengthens our diversified pipeline addressing the evolving treatment needs of patients with obesity and other metabolic diseases."

ASC36, an amylin receptor peptide agonist, was discovered and developed in-house utilizing Ascletis' proprietary Artificial Intelligence-assisted Structure-Based Drug Discovery (AISBDD). ASC36 oral tablet formulation was developed and optimized by Ascletis' proprietary Peptide Oral Transport ENhancement Technology (POTENT) for delivery of oral peptides.

In non-human primates (NHPs), 10 mg ASC36 oral tablet per animal dosed once daily for seven days achieved absolute oral bioavailability[1] of 8% and elimination half-life of 116 hours at steady state; 25 mg ASC36 oral tablet per animal dosed once daily for seven days achieved absolute oral bioavailability of 6% and elimination half-life of 167 hours at steady state. The long elimination half-life (116 hours to 167 hours) of ASC36 oral tablets supports once-daily and less frequent oral dosing.

ASC36 oral tablets and subcutaneous (SQ) injection demonstrated significant weight loss in NHP and diet-induced obese (DIO) rat models, respectively. In NHPs, ASC36 oral tablets reduced mean body weight up to 13.2% from baseline after once-daily dosing for seven days. ASC36 tablets also reduced food intake significantly. In a head-to-head DIO rat model, after seven days of treatment, ASC36 SQ injection demonstrated approximately 32% and 91% greater relative body weight reduction compared to eloralintide and petrelintide injection, respectively.

Based on potentially better oral bioavailability and efficacy, ASC36 oral tablets are expected to utilize a lower dose, relative to a recently FDA approved oral GLP-1R peptide agonist. This superior weight loss per milligram of ASC36 peptide may also provide scalability advantages in manufacturing.

Modern Micro Endodontics Opens Ninth New Jersey Location in Englewood Cliffs

Following a transition of ownership from Dr. Anthony Fasciano, the Bergen County office brings root canal therapy, surgical endodontics, and same-day emergency treatment to patients and referring dentists.

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Modern Micro Endodontics has opened its ninth New Jersey office at 617 E. Palisades Ave, Suite 3 in Englewood Cliffs, following a transition of ownership from longtime Englewood Cliffs endodontist Dr. Anthony Fasciano, DMD. The office extends the practice's specialty endodontic care into Bergen County and adds appointment availability for area patients and referring dentists, including same-day treatment for dental emergencies.

Dr. Fasciano led the Englewood Cliffs practice for many years and selected Modern Micro Endodontics as his successor, announcing the transition in a letter to the dental community. He will remain with the office for a period of time to support the handoff, and longtime staff members will continue in their roles. The practice will operate at the same address, open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Modern Micro Endodontics has provided root canal therapy and other specialty endodontic treatment across Northern and Central New Jersey for more than a decade. The practice was founded by and is led by Dr. Vivian Graham, DDS, who earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and completed her endodontic residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Graham has been recognized as a New Jersey Monthly Top Dentist for 14 consecutive years and is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, and the New Jersey Association of Endodontists.

Dr. Graham will be joined in Englewood Cliffs by Dr. Tara Mahpour, DMD, who received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and completed a General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, followed by a post-doctoral endodontics residency at Rutgers. Her clinical research examined healing rates and prognostic factors following apicoectomy. Dr. Mahpour was named a 2026 New Jersey Monthly Top Dentist alongside Dr. Graham.

Because the practice is dedicated exclusively to endodontics, each office is equipped for detailed diagnosis and precise treatment, including surgical operating microscopes used in every procedure, cone-beam computed tomography, and EdgePRO laser technology. Referring dentists remain central to how the practice operates, and the Englewood Cliffs office is intended to shorten the time between referral and appointment for patients in Bergen County and surrounding towns.

"Opening our ninth location is about more than growth. It is about expanding access to exceptional endodontic care while maintaining the personalized experience that has always defined Modern Micro Endodontics," says Dr. Vivian Graham, DDS, founder and lead doctor at Modern Micro Endodontics. "Our focus remains unchanged: delivering exceptional endodontic care, investing in advanced technology and building lasting partnerships with the dentists who entrust us with their patients. We are grateful to Dr. Fasciano for his confidence, and we look forward to continuing the standard of care that patients and referring doctors in Englewood Cliffs have come to expect."

Modern Micro Endodontics provides a comprehensive range of endodontic services at all nine locations, including:

- Non-Surgical Endodontics

- Root Canal Therapy

- Surgical Endodontics

- Treatment for Cracked Teeth

- Traumatic Dental Injuries

- Facial Esthetics
