Rebuilt entirely on the Galaxy Watch8 platform, the new Bark Watch pairs a rugged aluminum design with Bark's award-winning advanced safety software to help kids stay safer from online threats

ATLANTA, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Bark Technologies today announced the new Bark Watch (powered by Samsung Galaxy Watch8), developed in partnership with Samsung. Built natively on the premium Samsung Galaxy Watch8 (40mm LTE) platform, [1]the device pairs Samsung's industry-leading hardware with Bark's AI-powered digital safety platform. The result is a durable, adult-grade smartwatch that kids will love, giving families a smarter first connected device for children ready for more independence.

This completely overhauled design from the original Bark Watch directly solves the primary problem facing modern parents. While families want to protect their children from digital dangers like cyberbullying, online predators, and explicit content, they also need a dependable device that can actually keep up with an active childhood. Many kids' watches are designed primarily for younger children, leaving older kids wanting something that feels more age-appropriate without sacrificing the safety features parents value. The new Bark Watch delivers a sleek Armor Aluminum timepiece, giving parents a reliable way to help keep their kids safe without the distractions of a smartphone.

The redesigned Bark Watch is a major leap forward for Bark's parental control lineup, giving parents stronger tools to protect their kids and giving kids more freedom to explore safely.

"Parents need a dependable way to help keep their kids safe when giving them a smartwatch," said Brian Bason, founder and CEO of Bark Technologies. "By building directly on the Samsung Galaxy Watch8, we are delivering our award-winning safety features on the best-in-class device, giving parents the utmost confidence in their family's security."

Meaningful Upgrades for Active Families

By migrating to the Samsung Galaxy Watch8 architecture, the new Bark Watch introduces significant performance updates built around the real-world needs of active families:

- Advanced Communication: Supports standalone LTE calling, group texting, speech-to-text dictation for composing messages, and text-to-speech playback that reads received messages aloud for children who need extra reading support.

- Hardware & Durability: Built on the Samsung Galaxy Watch8 with a modern round design, durable Armor Aluminum construction, and a IP68 durability rating.[2]

- Smart Health Tracking: Integrates health features, including fitness activity, step count, and more, all in one place,

- Expanded Safety Features: Features built-in Emergency SOS, [3]and GPS location tracking.

- Flexible Contact Controls: Offers customizable text and calling controls that can be scheduled by time of day based on parent preferences, evolving alongside a child's maturity and demonstrated responsibility.

- Style & Personalization: Includes Bluetooth headphone support and eight interchangeable watch band styles which are available for purchase.

Distraction-free Boundaries

What's even more important is what the watch leaves out, creating clean, distraction-free boundaries. The device features no social media apps, internet browsers, mobile games, unrestricted app downloads, or built-in camera hardware. However, Bark's award-winning AI platform runs quietly in the background, scanning incoming and outgoing media sent via text, instantly alerting parents to issues like cyberbullying, digital threats, or explicit content before it escalates.

Pricing and Availability

The next-generation Bark Watch is available today for $10/month for 24 months for the device, paired with a $15/month plan for cellular service and parental controls. Optional comprehensive device protection covering accidental damage, loss, or theft is available from Bark for $4/month.

Staying connected: Suicide prevention starts with awareness and action

By Christy Schuster, LPC, Clinical Services Assistant Director of Residential Services at Youth Villages Inner Harbour

DOUGLASVILLE, Ga., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- September is Suicide Prevention Month, a time to bring a critical issue to the forefront of our conversations. While suicide prevention is a year-round concern, dedicating a month to raise awareness helps us pause, reflect and take collective action to support those at risk.

Why Suicide Prevention Month matters

Suicide is not just a mental health issue – it's a public health issue. Taking time to focus on it enhances understanding, reduces stigma and encourages open dialogue. When we talk about suicide prevention, we empower communities to recognize warning signs and respond with compassion and support.

Recognizing the signs in youth

Young people may not always show obvious signs of distress. Some may withdraw from activities they once enjoyed, while others may appear to function normally but lack their usual energy or enthusiasm. Subtle changes in behavior, mood or social engagement can be early indicators of internal struggles.

One major risk factor is social media. While it connects us, it also fosters harmful comparisons. Teens may internalize unrealistic portrayals of success and happiness, leading to feelings of inadequacy.

Also, beware of the growing influence of misleading AI-generated content pretending to be legitimate, clinically backed advice. This can be especially worrisome for those experiencing suicidal thoughts, where timely, compassionate and expert human intervention is critical.

Parents and caregivers should engage in open conversations about what their children are seeing and feeling online.

What parents and educators can do

- Monitor social media use, but more importantly, talk about it.

- Create safe spaces for open dialogue without judgement.

- Reduce access to lethal means by locking up firearms and medication in the home

- Use tools like the Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS), a simple, evidence-based screening tool available for parents and teachers.

- Know the resources: The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7 for support.

When to take action

If a child expresses suicidal thoughts – even casually – it should always be taken seriously. Whether it is a cry for help or a deeper issue, early intervention is key. Ask direct questions, listen without judgement and seek professional help immediately. If the child already has a mental health provider, reach out to them. Take a moment to assess whether the young person has access to potentially dangerous items, including medications or weapons. If there is immediate concern, call 988 or reach out to a local mental health service. Remain with the young person, or enlist a trusted support person, until help arrives or a safety plan is established.

Understanding the warning signs

Suicidal ideation may accompany:

- Mental health conditions such as anxiety or depression

- Increased alcohol or drug use

- Too much or too little sleep

- Medication side effects

- Unresolved trauma, including exposure to distressing news or personal experiences

- Social rejection, especially among vulnerable populations of young people

- Relief or sudden improvement

These issues often go unspoken. That's why it's vital to foster environments where young people feel safe to share their struggles.

Breaking the stigma

Talking about suicide is hard. Many fear bringing it up might make things worse. But research shows the opposite: asking about suicidal thoughts can open the door to healing. We must shift from silence to support, from judgment to understanding.

A call to action

As we honor Suicide Prevention Month, let's commit to:

- Listening more deeply

- Asking the hard questions

- Being present for those who need us

- Educating ourselves and others

- Safety plan to reduce access to means for suicide

Let's also support initiatives like the Zero Suicide framework, which emphasizes systemic, compassionate care for those at risk. At Youth Villages, we're proud to be part of this movement.

To every young person struggling: you are not alone. Your people are out there. Sometimes it takes time to find them, but they exist – and they care. Until then, we must be the bridge that keeps hope alive.

She has held multiple roles during her tenure at Youth Villages' Inner Harbour residential program for youth and adolescents in Douglasville, Georgia, beginning initially as an intern 25 years ago. AEYE-DS Clinical Trials Published: First Fully Autonomous Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Technology Across Portable and Tabletop Devices Demonstrates 99% Imageability, One-Image-per-Eye Workflow, and Best-in-Class Diagnostic Efficacy
Image File
Original HTML

The pivotal trial results prove AEYE Health's FDA-cleared AI achieves >99% imageability and unmatched diagnostic accuracy using just a single image per eye, with both portable and tabletop devices, powering the industry's first practical fully autonomous diabetic eye exam screening technology.

NEW YORK, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- AEYE Health, the leader in ophthalmic AI and retinal diagnostics and the developer of AEYE-DS, today announced the peer-reviewed publication of its prospective, controlled pivotal trials results in Frontiers in Digital Health. The landmark paper, titled "Autonomous AI-driven point-of-care screening for diabetic retinopathy compared to reading center multi-expert clinical review: results from three prospective controlled pivotal validation studies with AEYE-DS in over 1,200 patients," reveals the multi-center clinical validation trials that earned the company its groundbreaking U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approvals.

AEYE-DS is an FDA-cleared fully autonomous AI solution for diabetic retinopathy, eliminating the need for physician interpretation. Compatible with both handheld and tabletop cameras, it stands as the only portable solution on the market and the only solution to require just a single image per eye. The solution features over 99% gradeability ("imageability") of patients to be screened, ensuring exceptional practicality in real-world clinical settings, with rare need for dilation.

The newly published research details the prospective multi-center clinical trials' validation results across three trials (AEYE-1, AEYE-2, and AEYE-3) involving over 1,200 patients with diabetes, establishing the rigorous clinical foundation that earned AEYE-DS its two approvals from the FDA.

Diabetic retinopathy remains the leading cause of preventable blindness in working-age adults in the US. Despite clinical guidelines recommending annual eye exams, over 60% of patients skip screenings due to accessibility barriers and specialist shortages. The peer-reviewed publication highlights how AEYE-DS eliminates these barriers by bringing AI diabetic eye exams directly to the point of care:

- First & Only Portable Autonomous AI: Validated diagnostic performance using both portable handheld and tabletop cameras, making AEYE Health the market's only solution offering an FDA-cleared portable handheld option.

- Single-Image & Non-Dilated Efficiency: As the only solution requiring just one image per eye for the analysis, AEYE-DS significantly reduces screening time, complexity, and improves patient comfort.

- Groundbreaking Diagnostic Accuracy: Demonstrated outstanding sensitivity (92%-93% for the portable solution, 93% for tabletop) and specificity (89%-94% for the portable solution, 91.4% for tabletop) for detecting more-than-mild diabetic retinopathy (mtmDR).

- 100% Sensitivity for Severe Cases: Achieved a 100% sensitivity rate for ETDRS ≥ 43, including all severe diabetic retinopathy cases across all 3 clinical trials, ensuring critical high-risk cases are never missed.

- >99% Imageability: AEYE-DS successfully analyzed >99% of patient images across all 3 clinical trials, delivering instant diagnostic results and virtually eliminating ungradable image rejections.

- 99% Intra-Operator Repeatability: Proven reliable when operated by general clinic staff rather than eye care specialists, ensuring seamless integration into daily primary care workflows.

"The data from AEYE-DS's three clinical trials speak for themselves. AEYE-DS finally makes diabetic eye exams practical at the point of care: portable and tabletop devices, just one image per eye, no dilation, and best-in-class diagnostic efficacy. No other FDA-cleared solution does any of that," said Dr. Zack Dvey-Aharon, Ph.D., Co-Founder and CEO of AEYE Health. "With this groundbreaking clinical evidence, a screening workflow that can be completed by staff members in just one minute, and seamless EHR integration, we expect AEYE-DS to continue its rapid expansion across the United States and become the new American standard for diabetic eye exams."

Locus Agriculture's Unpac® Tackles Soil Compaction to Support Stronger Crop Performance
Image File
Original HTML

Third-party laboratory testing and field applications demonstrate the potential of Locus glycolipid technology to reduce soil density and improve water movement

SOLON, Ohio, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Locus Agriculture is expanding the use of Unpac®, its glycolipid-based soil conditioner, across row and specialty crop production systems where soil compaction and restricted water movement can limit root development and crop performance.

Soil compaction is a widespread production challenge. A USDA Economic Research Service analysis found that growers identified soil compaction as a resource concern on 22% of surveyed wheat, soybean, oat and cotton fields.

Dense, compacted soils can restrict root development and limit a crop's ability to access available water and nutrients. Unpac uses fermentation-derived glycolipid technology to reduce surface tension, helping water penetrate and spread more effectively through the soil profile and create more favorable conditions for root development.

Third-party laboratory testing for Unpac demonstrated reduced soil density across a range of moisture levels in agricultural soils collected from California's Central Coast and Central Valley. Testing also found improved water penetration through both soil types compared with untreated water.

"Compaction is more than a soil problem. It's a crop performance problem," said Dave Dyson, lead agronomist at Locus Agriculture. "When roots encounter dense soil, they have a harder time exploring the soil profile for the water and nutrients the crop needs. Unpac gives growers another tool for improving that root-zone environment."

Crop applications demonstrate versatility

Unpac is being incorporated into production programs across a range of cropping systems, including specialty crops where soil structure and root-zone conditions can have a significant impact on crop development and ultimately, yields.

In potato production, Unpac can be applied in-furrow as part of a crop program to help create a looser growing medium as roots and tubers develop. Locus field experience with programs combining Unpac and its microbial technology has shown yield increases ranging from 10% to 15%.

California strawberry growers are also incorporating Unpac into production systems to address soil compaction associated with raised-bed construction. Applied through drip irrigation beneath plastic-covered beds, Unpac helps improve root-zone conditions. Locus agronomists have observed looser soil conditions that allow strawberry roots to penetrate more effectively.

"Growers already have significant investments in fertility, water and crop protection in every acre," said Jason McGarrh, vice president of Locus Agriculture. "When compaction restricts the root system, the crop can have a harder time accessing those resources. Improving root-zone conditions gives growers another way to protect the productivity of the inputs they have already paid for."

A different approach to soil compaction

Unpac is designed to address compaction through soil-water interactions rather than mechanical disturbance. At a field application rate of approximately 4 fluid ounces per acre, the product reduces surface tension, helping water spread laterally and penetrate more effectively through the soil.

By improving water movement into soil micropores, Unpac helps create root-zone conditions that support root penetration and access to available water and nutrients, while fitting into existing crop-management programs.

Expanding glycolipid technology in agriculture

Unpac represents one agricultural application of Locus FS' fermentation-derived glycolipid technology. While Locus Agriculture's microbial products work through biological activity, glycolipid-based products such as Unpac use functional molecules produced through fermentation to address physical and chemical challenges within crop-production systems.

Locus Agriculture is continuing to expand its crop-performance portfolio across biologicals, inoculants, foliar products, soil solutions and adjuvants. The company is applying its microbial and fermentation-derived technologies to develop products that address root development, nutrient efficiency, soil and water management, and spray performance throughout the crop-production cycle.

Milestone follows completion of Greenwood facility expansion to 3 GW of annual solar cell manufacturing capacity

GREENWOOD, S.C., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- ES Foundry, a U.S. manufacturer of high-performance crystalline solar cells, today announced that its Greenwood, South Carolina manufacturing facility has achieved ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications following a comprehensive Integrated Management System (IMS) audit that concluded with zero major and zero minor nonconformities.

The certifications come as ES Foundry continues to scale its U.S. manufacturing operations, following the recent completion of a 2 GW expansion that brought the Greenwood facility to 3 GW of annual solar cell manufacturing capacity. The audit and certification process was completed during this period of rapid operational growth, requiring teams across the organization to demonstrate that quality, environmental and occupational health and safety systems were being implemented consistently as production expanded.

The independent integrated audit assessed ES Foundry's quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems as a unified framework across its manufacturing operations. The resulting certifications establish an internationally recognized management system baseline for how the company manages product quality, environmental performance, workplace safety and continuous improvement.

"Domestic manufacturing isn't defined by scale alone. It is built through strong standards, disciplined execution and systems that support consistent performance," said Lionel Moss, General Manager of Operations for ES Foundry. "Achieving all three certifications with zero nonconformities while expanding our manufacturing operations is an important milestone for our team and a strong validation of the operational foundation we are building as we scale U.S. solar cell production."

The Integrated Management System applies to the manufacture, testing and delivery of monocrystalline photovoltaic solar cells, including associated procurement, material handling, quality assurance, environmental management and occupational health and safety processes that influence product conformity, environmental performance and worker well-being.

The three certifications include:

- ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management Systems, which establishes requirements for consistent quality, process control, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

- ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management Systems, which provides a framework for managing environmental responsibilities, risks and performance.

- ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, which establishes requirements for proactively managing workplace health and safety risks.

Building Operational Discipline from the Inside

Achieving the certifications required teams across Quality, Engineering and Operations to demonstrate not only documented processes, but also an integrated approach to managing performance, risk, corrective actions and continuous improvement.

During the audit, several areas of ES Foundry's management system were highlighted as strengths, including:

- Performance management: Fourteen operational objectives spanning quality, environmental performance and safety are actively defined, monitored and measured against established targets.

- Governance and internal review: ES Foundry's internal audit program demonstrated a structured and detailed approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and strengthening compliance. Its management review process evaluates operating performance, risks and environmental considerations with company leadership.

- Corrective and preventive action: The company maintains a formal corrective action system incorporating 8D root-cause analysis to identify issues, determine underlying causes and implement lasting corrective measures.

- Emergency preparedness: Documented planning and response procedures address scenarios including fire alarms, severe weather and chemical releases or spills, with records maintained as part of the company's management system.

As part of this ongoing process, ES Foundry built internal auditing capabilities across the organization. To date, 12 employees across the Quality, Engineering and Operations teams have completed the internal auditor qualification process, helping embed accountability and continuous improvement directly within day-to-day manufacturing operations.

"Scaling domestic manufacturing requires more than adding capacity. It requires the systems, accountability and discipline to perform consistently at that scale," said Alex Zhu, CEO of ES Foundry. "Completing our expansion to 3 GW while strengthening these management systems demonstrates the kind of manufacturing platform we are building — one designed to deliver reliable, high-quality solar cells as U.S. demand continues to grow."

Certification as a Starting Point

ES Foundry views the certifications as an operational baseline rather than an endpoint.

As production continues to scale, the company is focused on translating its Integrated Management System into increasingly consistent execution on the manufacturing floor, including stronger operational discipline, standardized 5S workplace practices and greater use of automated, cloud-based systems that integrate quality, environmental and safety requirements into everyday workflows.

"A clean audit is something our team should be proud of, but certification itself is not the objective," Moss said. "The objective is safer operations, fewer quality incidents, stronger processes and consistently delivering cells our customers can depend on. These standards give us another tool to hold ourselves accountable as we grow."

The certifications are one part of ES Foundry's broader effort to establish a scalable, reliable and disciplined domestic manufacturing platform capable of supporting the expanding U.S. solar supply chain.

Global Uranium Market Projected to Reach $13.59 Billion by 2033 as Washington Becomes the Sector's Largest Counterparty
Image File
Original HTML

RENO, Nev., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Equity Insider News Commentary - For most of the past four decades, American nuclear was a story about decline. Reactors closed, mines shut, and the enrichment business moved offshore. That has reversed, and the reversal has an unusual feature: the decisive counterparty in almost every segment is now the federal government. DataM Intelligence sizes the global uranium market at approximately US$9.73 billion in 2025, rising to roughly US$13.59 billion by 2033 at a compound annual growth rate of about 4.86%, with uranium demand projected to rise around 28% by 2030 and to nearly double by 2040. What that forecast does not capture is where the decisions get made.

Active Companies from around the markets with current developments this week include: Eagle Nuclear Energy Corp. (NASDAQ: NUCL), Uranium Energy Corp (NYSE American: UEC), Centrus Energy Corp. (NYSE: LEU), Energy Fuels Inc. (NYSE American: UUUU), and NuScale Power Corporation (NYSE: SMR).

The enrichment segment shows the pattern most clearly. Mordor Intelligence estimates the uranium enrichment market at approximately US$14.24 billion in 2025, growing to roughly US$22.16 billion by 2030 at a compound annual growth rate of about 9.25%, with demand for high-assay low-enriched uranium, the fuel most advanced reactors require, growing considerably faster than the conventional segment. In January 2026 the U.S. Department of Energy awarded approximately US$2.7 billion in contracts to expand domestic enrichment capacity across both low-enriched uranium and HALEU.

Supply concentration is the reason. According to the World Nuclear Association, Kazakhstan, Canada and Australia together account for close to 75% of global uranium mine output, with Kazakhstan alone at roughly 39% of world supply in 2024. Russian enrichment services covered a substantial share of United States requirements before the 2024 import ban. A country that has decided nuclear is a strategic priority, and that finds most of the fuel cycle sitting outside its borders, has only one fast lever: policy.

So the federal government has become the sector's largest customer, its principal lender, its permitting authority and, through the Reactor Pilot Program and comparable frameworks, an alternative licensing route. Every one of those is a decision made by an agency rather than by a market. That has a practical consequence for how companies in this sector are built. Geology, metallurgy and engineering remain necessary. They are no longer sufficient. Access to the policy process has become an operating input, and companies have started resourcing it the way they resource drilling.

Eagle Nuclear Energy Corp. (Nasdaq: NUCL) Expands Government Affairs and Uranium Advisory Capabilities

- Engaged LSN Partners for government affairs, strategic advisory and stakeholder engagement services.

- Mandate covers domestic uranium production, advanced nuclear technologies, critical minerals policy, energy security, permitting and regulatory matters, and federal funding and procurement opportunities.

- Outreach to extend to relevant federal agencies and to key state governments, including Oregon and Nevada.

- Appointed Blake Steele, former President and CEO of Azarga Uranium Corp., as an advisor on uranium strategy.

- Flagship Aurora Uranium Project is being advanced toward a Pre-Feasibility Study scheduled for completion in late 2027.

Eagle Nuclear Energy Corp. (Nasdaq: NUCL), a next-generation nuclear energy company that owns one of the largest conventional, measured and indicated uranium deposits in the United States, announced on September 9, 2026 that it has engaged LSN Partners and has appointed Blake Steele as an advisor. Further detail is available at eaglenuclear.com.

LSN Partners will support the Company's federal and state public-sector objectives across domestic uranium production, advanced nuclear technologies, critical minerals policy, energy security, permitting and regulatory matters, and federal funding and procurement opportunities. The engagement extends to outreach with relevant federal agencies and with key state governments, including Oregon and Nevada. The Aurora deposit sits along the Oregon-Nevada border, and its permitting path runs through both federal and state authorities.

Blake Steele previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Azarga Uranium Corp., where he led the advancement of a portfolio of United States uranium assets through that company's acquisition by enCore Energy Corp. in 2022. That is direct, recent experience taking American uranium projects through development and a transaction, which is a narrower skill set than general mining experience and a scarcer one after four decades of domestic contraction.

"Eagle continues to work towards the development of an integrated nuclear energy platform combining domestic uranium resources with advanced SMR technology," said Eagle CEO Mark Mukhija. "As we advance Aurora and our broader nuclear energy initiatives, we believe it is important to be actively engaged in the federal and state policy discussions impacting the future of domestic uranium production and nuclear energy. LSN brings significant experience across government affairs and strategic advisory services, which we're confident will benefit Eagle as we move forward."

On Steele's appointment, Mukhija added that Steele has direct experience advancing United States uranium assets and a proven track record of success in building value around domestic uranium projects, and that the experience will be particularly relevant as the Company advances Aurora.

Eagle's flagship Aurora Uranium Project, located along the Oregon-Nevada border, is one of the largest undeveloped uranium deposits in the United States. The Aurora deposit carries 32.75 million pounds Indicated and 4.98 million pounds Inferred of near-surface uranium resource under S-K 1300, with the Mineral Resource Estimate and related Technical Report Summary completed by BBA USA Inc. in August 2025. The adjacent Cordex deposit is described by the Company as having the potential to expand the project's overall resource inventory. Eagle also holds access to certain small modular reactor technology, which is the second half of what it describes as an integrated nuclear platform.

There are several risks associated with the Company's plans.

Eagle Nuclear Energy is a development-stage company with no mineral reserve defined at Aurora, no production and no revenue. The engagement of a government affairs firm and the appointment of an advisor are service arrangements. Neither generates revenue, secures a permit, guarantees federal funding or procurement, nor assures any policy or regulatory outcome. The Pre-Feasibility Study is scheduled for completion in late 2027, which is a stated schedule rather than a commitment, and studies of this kind routinely slip. Mineral resources that are not mineral reserves do not have demonstrated economic viability, and Inferred resources carry particular uncertainty. Developing a uranium project is capital intensive and would require financing well beyond anything raised to date, which could dilute existing holders. The Company became public through a business combination with a special purpose acquisition company, a route associated with volatility, dilution and limited operating history as a public company, and it has identified the risk that it cannot maintain its Nasdaq listing. Uranium prices are volatile, and federal policy support can be reduced, delayed or redirected by appropriations, litigation or a change of administration. Readers should review the Company's filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission at www.sec.gov in full.

The Nuclear sector has some interesting things happening with the nuclear fuel cycle, the same dependence is visible at every stage:

Uranium Energy Corp (NYSE American: UEC) shows what the permitting constraint looks like for a company already in production. It controls the largest uranium resource base and the most licensed production capacity in the United States, approximately 12 million pounds per year across hub-and-spoke in-situ recovery platforms in Wyoming and South Texas.

On April 8, 2026 the Company announced it had received approval from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and commenced production at Burke Hollow, which it describes as the first new United States ISR operation in over a decade, giving it two active producing platforms. Third quarter fiscal 2026 disclosure reported approximately US$794 million of liquid assets and no debt. The results were filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Form 8-K.

The telling remark came earlier in the year. Reporting second quarter results, management noted that expanded ISR capacity in Wyoming and South Texas was awaiting final regulatory approvals, and described the industry as experiencing regulatory growing pains at a level of activity not seen in the United States in over fifteen years. Built capacity sitting idle pending an agency decision is the clearest possible illustration of why companies in this sector now treat the regulatory interface as an operating function.

Centrus Energy Corp. (NYSE: LEU) is the segment where the federal government is not merely the regulator but the customer. The Company operates the only Nuclear Regulatory Commission licensed HALEU production facility in the United States, at Piketon, Ohio, and has produced HALEU for the Department of Energy under contract since 2023.
