CELSET Launches SOLTOX, a Korean Botulinum Toxin Type A Brand, for International Markets

SEOUL, South Korea, Oct. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- CELSET INC., a Korean biotechnology company specializing in medical aesthetics, has launched SOLTOX, its botulinum toxin type A brand, introducing a Korean botulinum toxin brand to the international medical aesthetics industry.

SOLTOX is presented in 100 Unit and 200 Unit formulations with three defining technical characteristics: a 900 kDa toxin complex, a freeze dried dosage form, and an advanced purification process. Together, these attributes reflect a manufacturing approach emphasizing controlled processing, product characterization, and pharmaceutical quality.

The 900 kDa complex describes the molecular size of the botulinum toxin protein complex, including associated proteins. This characteristic identifies a specific formulation feature rather than establishing any claim of superior clinical duration or efficacy. SOLTOX is supplied as a lyophilized powder intended for reconstitution before administration by qualified medical professionals, in accordance with applicable product labeling and local requirements.

Purification forms another central element of the SOLTOX manufacturing approach. Advanced Botulinum Toxin Purification Technology is applied during the processing of botulinum toxin type A, with emphasis on separating the desired substance from unwanted materials. Production also involves controlled manufacturing conditions and botulinum toxin quality control procedures covering preparation, filling, freeze drying, and batch assessment.

CELSET highlights these manufacturing characteristics as the technical foundation of SOLTOX. Its product positioning draws attention to formulation identity and process controls without equating manufacturing characteristics with unverified differences in patient outcomes. The brand combines technical information with a concise identity designed for recognition throughout the medical aesthetics sector.

The launch establishes SOLTOX within CELSET's international medical aesthetics activities. Its positioning reflects the growing visibility of Korean biotechnology and medical aesthetics manufacturing, alongside the importance of established medical channels and market specific regulatory frameworks. CELSET views country level market development and professional relationships as integral to the international presence of the SOLTOX brand.

SOLTOX's introduction broadens CELSET's medical aesthetics portfolio, complementing its focus on scientifically grounded product communication. The company emphasizes a consistent brand presentation and clear information for healthcare professionals across different markets. Availability and use are governed by the regulatory requirements applicable in each country.

About CELSET INC.

Based in Seoul, South Korea, CELSET INC. is a Korean biotechnology company focused on the medical aesthetics sector. SOLTOX reflects the company's commitment to distinctive brands, aesthetic medicine manufacturing principles, and professional communication for the global aesthetics industry.

Photocure ASA: Results for the third quarter of 2026

News provided by

Photocure

Oct 28, 2026, 03:38 ET

OSLO, Norway, Oct. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Photocure ASA (OSE: PHO) today reported Hexvix®/Cysview® revenues of NOK 134.2 million in the third quarter of 2026 (Q3 2025: NOK 134.1 million), and Adjusted EBITDA of NOK 18.5 million (Q3 2025: NOK 18.9 million). In 2026, Photocure now expects product revenue growth in the range of 10% to 12% on a constant currency basis (versus 8 to 11% previously) and adjusted EBITDA margin expansion.

"Photocure is progressing toward an important evolution in its development: building on an established commercial franchise while expanding our capabilities across the bladder cancer diagnostic pathway. Our ambition is to combine the reach of Hexvix / Cysview with non-invasive molecular diagnostics, advanced imaging, artificial intelligence and real-world clinical evidence. We believe these complementary capabilities can create new opportunities to improve patient care, expand our addressable market and deliver sustainable long-term growth," says Dan Schneider, President & Chief Executive Officer of Photocure.

The company continued to execute on its plan to expand blue-light cystoscopy (BLC®) use in Q3 2026 with the installation of 13 new Saphira tower installations in the U.S., including 9 installations in new accounts and 4 upgrades. Photocure had 454 active accounts in the U.S. at the end of the quarter, an increase of 20% versus the third quarter of 2025. Across Europe, a total of 87 Olympus Visera Elite III BLC capable systems were installed since the launch in Q1 2025 along with 29 upgraded rigid systems YTD from Karl Storz, Richard Wolf and Stryker.

Total revenues were NOK 140.9 million in the third quarter of 2026, an increase from NOK 135.0 million in Q3 2025. Reported EBITDA was NOK 4.0 million (NOK 10.2 million). EBIT was NOK -3.4 million (NOK 2.9 million). Cash and cash equivalents were NOK 162.4 million at the end of the period.

"We have also strengthened Photocure's leadership team with the appointment of Dennis Camporeale as our new Chief Financial Officer. Dennis has a strong background in medtech and diagnostics investment banking, spanning mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory, business development and corporate finance. This appointment supports our focus on disciplined financial management and execution while we advance our commercial franchise and invest in growth opportunities across the bladder cancer diagnostic pathway," Schneider says, continuing:

"An important catalyst for our core business is the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's proposal to reclassify applicable BLC systems from Class III to Class II. Published in August, the proposal will establish a new regulatory framework with special controls and a 510(k) pathway, subject to the FDA's final determination. We believe this evolution will facilitate broader participation by equipment manufacturers, expand the availability of compatible BLC platforms and support wider adoption of BLC across U.S. healthcare systems. Combined with our commercial infrastructure and mobile access model, the reclassification will create a meaningful opportunity to accelerate market development and strengthen our position in bladder cancer diagnostics."

Photocure continues to build a stronger body of clinical and economic evidence to support BLC adoption in the United States. Recent publications using U.S. real-world data have demonstrated cost neutrality between BLC and white light cystoscopy (WLC) in the studied population and highlighted opportunities to improve the prediction of bladder cancer recurrence and progression in contemporary patients treated with BLC. Photocure's growing Cysview registry provides a valuable foundation for understanding patient outcomes and developing more individualized approaches to disease management. The evidence-generation capability of the registry will serve as an increasingly important strategic asset, supporting clinical engagement today while creating opportunities for future predictive analytics and data-driven diagnostics.

"Following the acquisition of Vesica Health, AssureMDx is our second growth engine and serves as a significant step in extending our reach earlier in the patient pathway through a multi-omic, urine-based molecular test designed to support risk stratification and the evaluation of patients presenting with hematuria. By combining non-invasive molecular testing via AssureMDx with our established BLC franchise, we can connect earlier risk assessment with procedural diagnosis and subsequent patient management. We expect initial AssureMDx revenue in 2027, with reimbursement secured during the first half of 2027," Schneider added.

"Artificial intelligence provides another opportunity to extend our capabilities and differentiate our offering. Through our work with Claritas HealthTech and its subsidiary Intelligent Scopes Corporation, we are advancing AI-enabled technology designed to support physicians during BLC procedures, with the potential to enhance tumor detection and resection completeness. The Photocure and Claritas co-sponsored ENAiBLE trial has now recruited over 100 patients into the study. Our collaboration with Artera to evaluate the ArteraAI Bladder Test, which remains under development, illustrates the value of Photocure's Cysview registry as a rich dataset to support the validation of emerging diagnostic tools. These initiatives enhance complementary aspects of care, from visualization during cystoscopy to pathology-based insights that may inform patient assessment and management," Schneider expanded.

For 2026, Photocure now expects product revenue growth in the range of 10% to 12% on a constant currency basis (versus 8 to 11% previously) and continued expansion of the adjusted EBITDA margin.

"We believe Photocure's opportunity extends beyond any single product or technology. By combining an established commercial franchise with capabilities spanning early risk assessment, procedural detection and data-enabled patient management, we are building a broader precision diagnostics platform in bladder cancer. At the same time, we recognize the need to navigate an evolving competitive environment while continuing to demonstrate the clinical value and commercial resilience of our established franchise. Our commitment remains to be disciplined, generate evidence that matters to clinicians and patients, and convert our growing capabilities into sustainable commercial growth and long-term shareholder value," Schneider concludes.

Please find the full financial report and presentation enclosed.

Adjusted EBITDA and other alternative performance measures (APMs) are defined and reconciled to the IFRS financial statements in the APM section of the third quarter 2026 financial report on page 25.

Sinopec Releases Africa Sustainability Report and Launches WE17 Global Communication Brand in Cairo

Original HTML

CAIRO, Oct. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (HKG: 0386, "Sinopec" or "the Company") released Sinopec's Sustainability Report in Africa (2021-2025) in Cairo on October 25 which highlights five years of progress in energy cooperation, environmental protection, community development, and cultural exchange. The Company also introduced its global sustainability communication brand, WE17. The report shows that Sinopec implemented 33 projects across 16 African countries between 2021 and 2025, with cumulative investment exceeding US$5.7 billion and total tax payments and social responsibility contributions surpassing US$4 billion over the same period. In 2025, its operations directly created 16,000 local jobs.

Zhao Liuqing, Minister Counselor for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, addressed the event and noted that 2026 marks the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Egypt and of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and African countries. Mr. Zhao described Sinopec's activities in Egypt as an example of the China-Egypt comprehensive strategic partnership and a contribution to stronger people-to-people ties. Magdy Amer, board member of the Egypt-China Friendship Association and former Egyptian ambassador to China, also delivered remarks recognizing Sinopec's contributions to economic and social development.

Wei Dong, Managing Director of Sinopec Africa Office, presented the report and reaffirmed the Company's commitment to leveraging its integrated industrial capabilities, increasing investment in quality resources, and balancing economic performance with ecological protection and community well-being. He also emphasized Sinopec's continued participation in Africa's industrialization and public service development.

Sinopec expands energy cooperation and environmental protection

The sustainability report documents Sinopec's activities in oil and gas exploration, engineering services, refining, energy trade, and renewable energy. Sinopec is exploring wind and solar alternatives for oilfield operations in the Western Desert of Egypt through its partnership with Apache Corporation. At the Sinopec-Apache project in Egypt, gas flaring had been reduced by more than 60% by the end of 2025 through energy efficiency and gas recovery measures.

Additionally, Sinopec participates in five offshore exploration and development blocks in Angola and maintains long-term energy cooperation with Algeria. Its renewable energy activities include Ethiopia's Adama Wind Power Project, which meets approximately 20% of the capital's electricity demand, and a geothermal pipeline project that supports clean electricity generation in Kenya. Environmental initiatives include planting over 7,000 mangroves in Angola and deploying ultra-low-noise intelligent drilling rigs in Uganda which have reduced carbon emissions by more than 90% compared with conventional rigs.

Continued investment in communities and cultural exchange

Sinopec's community programs focus on employment, vocational training, education, healthcare, and infrastructure. A welding training initiative in Uganda has equipped 60 local workers with internationally recognized certifications. Across Africa, the Company has helped with the construction of more than 70 water supply plants and installation of over 4,300 kilometers of water pipelines.

In Egypt, an education-assistance initiative has supported the construction of 201 girls' schools, providing educational opportunities for over 15,000 students. Cultural exchange programs include the "Silk Road Book House - China Bookshelf" initiative in Egypt, Algeria, and Cameroon, as well as cultural exchange activities for young people.

Sinopec launches WE17

The event also saw the introduction of Sinopec's global sustainability communication brand, WE17, under the slogan "Together for Better." It is aligned with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals and focuses on the three themes of Clean, which represents environmental responsibility, Care, which emphasizes community well-being, and Culture, which promotes cross-cultural exchange.

Approximately 100 representatives from government, business, academia, and the media attended the event.

- Earnings per share (EPS) decreased to EUR 0.38 (EUR 0.46) and adjusted EPS decreased to EUR 0.48 (EUR 0.54). EPS and adjusted EPS decreased due to lower operating profit and higher financing expenses.

Key figures1

Strategic review progressing according to plan

On July 24, 2026, Valmet announced that its Board of Directors had decided to initiate a strategic review to evaluate a potential separation of its two core businesses, Biomaterial Solutions and Services, and Process Performance Solutions, into two standalone publicly listed companies. The review is focused on assessing whether a separation of the two businesses and their operation as separately listed companies on Nasdaq Helsinki would create additional value for shareholders compared with the current combined structure.

The strategic review is progressing according to plan. While no decision on a potential separation has been made, Valmet will initiate activities in Q4 2026 to strengthen the segments' readiness to operate independently. Related costs are expected to be approximately EUR 10 million in Q4. Costs directly related to the strategic review will be reported as items affecting comparability and will not impact Comparable EBITA. Valmet will provide an update at the latest in connection with the publication of its full-year 2026 results.

Guidance for 2026 unchanged

Valmet reiterates its guidance issued on February 6, 2026, in which Valmet estimates that net sales in 2026 will remain at the previous year's level in comparison with 2025 (EUR 5,197 million) and Comparable EBITA in 2026 will remain at the previous year's level or increase in comparison with 2025 (EUR 620 million).

Short-term market outlook

(October 2026 âMarch 2027)

Valmet's short-term market outlook covers the period October 2026 â March 2027. It reflects Valmet's estimate of expected growth and demand trends in its key markets, based on ongoing discussions with customers and other market information. It should not be interpreted as guidance for Valmet's own orders received.

Process Performance Solutions

Valmet estimates that the market for Process Performance Solutions is expected to remain at low year-over-year growth.

At the same time, uncertainty related to the geopolitical situation and global economic outlook remains high, which reduces short-term market visibility.

Biomaterial Solutions and Services

Valmet estimates that the market in Biomaterial Solutions and Services will remain broadly unchanged. However, it is typical that the timing of customers' large investment decisions can have a significant impact on market activity in any individual quarter.

The biomaterial services market is expected to stabilize in the coming quarters. Uncertainty related to the geopolitical situation and global economic outlook remains high, causing short-term volatility and limiting market visibility.

Segment key figures

Letter from President and CEO:

Capturing lifecycle growth across our unique and large installed base

"Everything we do at Valmet starts with one question: how can we help our customers become more competitive? In the third quarter, the trust they place in Valmet translated into strong demand: orders received increased 25 percent organically, while comparable EBITA reached a record level for a third quarter.

I am particularly pleased with our biomaterial services business, where orders grew 12 percent organically. Growth was broad-based across regions, service categories and business areas. The market developed in line with our earlier view that it was stabilizing.

Valmet has spent decades building a unique and large installed base around the world. In biomaterials, we have the largest installed base in the industry, representing a significant long-term growth opportunity. Our task is to serve our customers more broadly throughout the lifecycle of their assets. This builds deeper customer relationships and creates more recurring business for Valmet.

Biomaterial capital orders were also strong at EUR 552 million, including major project wins in China and Asia-Pacific. Customers choose Valmet for some of their largest and most critical investments, including in the world's most competitive markets. This reflects their confidence in our technology and in Valmet as a long-term partner. Each win also strengthens our installed base for decades to come.

Process Performance Solutions delivered three percent organic order growth in a low-growth market, with a comparable EBITA margin of 20.2 percent. With Severn now part of Valmet, we have a broader offering and a larger market to serve. The integration is progressing according to plan.

Comparable EBITA increased by EUR 10 million to EUR 169 million, supported by the Severn acquisition and the efficiency and cost reduction actions we are taking under our Lead the Way strategy. This is progress, but not the destination.

By 2030, our target is to grow 5 percent organically and reach a 15 percent comparable EBITA margin. Together, these take us to a 20 percent return on capital employed. We earn these returns by helping our customers run their assets more reliably and efficiently throughout their lifecycle. When customers win, Valmet wins. That is how we create long-term value for our shareholders and opportunities for our people.

Our strategic review is progressing according to plan. We are in the process of evaluating whether separating Biomaterial Solutions and Services and Process Performance Solutions into two standalone publicly listed companies would create additional value for shareholders compared with the current combined structure. We will provide an update at the latest in connection with our Financial Statements Review for 2026."

Temu Strengthens Proactive Product Checks as Warehouse Labs Pass Bureau Veritas Assessment

Independent assessment confirms technical capability to conduct specified tests against selected European standards, supporting earlier detection of potential compliance issues before shipment

DUBLIN, Oct. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Temu is integrating in-house laboratory testing into its proactive product checks, following an independent assessment and audit by Bureau Veritas of laboratories located within its fulfilment partners' warehouses.

The assessment confirms the laboratories' technical capability to conduct specified product tests in accordance with selected European standards. By placing this capability within fulfilment operations, Temu is adding a layer of product screening that helps identify potential compliance issues before selected products are shipped to consumers.

Bureau Veritas evaluated the laboratories' testing equipment, facilities and environmental conditions, technical personnel, operating procedures and quality control systems. Its assessment confirmed that the laboratories meet the technical requirements for conducting the specified tests.

The laboratories are now operational and conduct spot checks on selected products. These include tests for electrical safety on appliances, performance checks for textiles and tests against applicable toy safety requirements.

Warehouse-based testing adds a checkpoint in addition to Temu's pre-listing checks and ongoing post-sale monitoring.

"Our ambition is to help raise the standard for how online marketplaces screen products by making laboratory testing a more integrated part of fulfilment," said a Temu spokesperson.

"Building this capability into our operations gives us an additional opportunity to identify and address potential compliance issues before shipment. Bureau Veritas' assessment provides independent confirmation of the laboratories' technical capability within the assessed scope," the spokesperson added.

The warehouse laboratories complement independent third-party testing and do not replace sellers' responsibility to ensure their products meet applicable regulatory requirements. The assessment concerns the laboratories' capability to conduct the specified tests; it does not constitute product certification.

"Temu is working to build an online marketplace with a strong focus on quality and compliance," said a Bureau Veritas spokesperson. "Through our collaboration, we have seen firsthand the substantial time and effort Temu's teams are dedicating to strengthening in-house product testing."

Temu and Bureau Veritas have worked together since 2023 on product testing, random spot checks, third-party testing services for sellers and seller education. Their collaboration covers product categories including textiles, electrical and electronic goods, beauty and personal care products, food contact materials, personal protective equipment and jewellery.

Temu is also exploring further collaborations with testing organisations to expand and strengthen its in-house laboratory capabilities.

The initiative forms part of Temu's broader investment in product safety and compliance. The company plans to invest approximately US$200 million globally in compliance and quality assurance in 2026, twice its investment in 2025.

Alongside its warehouse-based laboratories, Temu works with more than 60 independent testing institutions worldwide. It has also expanded its seller education programmes, including a recently announced series connecting sellers with testing and compliance specialists to provide practical guidance on regulatory requirements, product testing and certification.

Rivermate recognized as a key provider of EoR solutions in Everest Group's Employer of Record (EoR) Solutions PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2026
Image File
Original HTML

DUBAI, UAE and LONDON, Oct. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Rivermate, the Employer of Record platform helping companies hire and pay talent in more than 180 countries, today announced that global research firm Everest Group has positioned the company as a Major Contender in its just published Employer of Record (EoR) Solutions PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2026.

Everest Group's PEAK Matrix assessments evaluate providers on market impact as well as vision and capability. The 2026 EoR assessment evaluated 29 Employer of Record providers, measuring each company on the impact they created in the market as well as their ability to deliver solutions successfully. Providers are grouped into three categories: Leaders, Major Contenders and Aspirants.

The assessment comes in a defining year for Rivermate, marked by strong consolidation and growth. In April 2026, Eos Global Expansion, Serviap Global and Hightekers' EoR operations came together under the Rivermate brand, combining more than 15 years of regional expertise across Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East into one global company. In June 2026, the group acquired Remunance, a leading Indian EoR and payroll provider, adding in-country expertise in one of the world's most growing hiring markets.

Building on this consolidation, Rivermate continues to focus on delivering exceptional human service tailored to each client's needs, through dedicated account managers with country-level expertise.

"International hiring has become the norm for companies of all sizes, whether it is to expand, save costs or access otherwise unavailable talent. As a result, the EoR market is maturing, and companies want to know how their EoR partner is a trusted and qualified option. Everest Group's assessment gives them that view.

"This year we consolidated our regional businesses into one global company, so our clients benefit from our global scale while drawing on deep local expertise every day. It is great to see our progress and market presence already reflected by our inclusion in Everest Group's research for the first time," said Sébastien Wakim, CEO at Rivermate.

About Rivermate

Rivermate is the global Employer of Record and Contractor of Record platform of Hightekers Group, built for a future where work is not limited by borders. It enables companies to hire, manage and pay talent internationally, combining owned infrastructure, deep local expertise and dedicated human service.

Euro seit Jahresbeginn realisiert
