EvidenceCare Names John Voigt Jr. Chief Revenue Officer

The move brings sales and marketing under one leader, following a track record that includes scaling Cedar's revenue from $2 million to $85 million and building $200 million in health system partnerships at Wellvana Health.

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- EvidenceCare, a clinical performance improvement platform built to align clinical and financial goals for health systems, today announced John Voigt Jr. has joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer.

Voigt has spent his career building revenue functions inside enterprise healthcare technology companies. He joins EvidenceCare from ActiumHealth (Syllable AI), where he served as executive vice president of growth and strategy and led commercial strategy for the company's AI-driven patient access and engagement platform. Before that, he led health system growth strategy at Wellvana Health, where partnerships he built generated more than $200 million in annual risk revenue. Earlier in his career, he helped scale Cedar's annual recurring revenue from $2 million to more than $85 million.

"John has built revenue engines at three different stages of growth, from Cedar's early scale to Wellvana's move into risk-based contracts with major health systems. We brought sales and marketing under one leader because our next stage of growth needs both moving in the same direction, and that's what John does well." - Bo Bartholomew, CEO and Chairman, EvidenceCare

As Chief Revenue Officer, Voigt owns EvidenceCare's revenue strategy end to end, with sales and marketing now under one leader. The goal: a single, accountable owner for how EvidenceCare grows.

"EvidenceCare has spent a decade building the kind of trust with physicians that's hard to earn and easy to lose, especially now that AI is part of the conversation. That's the foundation I want to build a revenue function around, and it's why I'm glad to be leading sales and marketing here." - John Voigt Jr., Chief Revenue Officer, EvidenceCare

Voigt holds a bachelor's degree in international relations and political science from Muhlenberg College. He is based in Nashville.

Estate Planning Attorney Andrew R. Randisi Discusses When It Is Too Late to Protect Assets From Care Costs in HelloNation

The article explains how timing affects medicaid planning, asset protection, and long-term care decisions for families.

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- When is it too late to protect assets from rising care costs? A HelloNation article explains how medicaid planning, medicaid rules, and long-term care decisions can affect financial options for families facing medical crises or declining health.

The article features insights from Andrew R. Randisi, Esq., MBA, of Weinstein & Randisi in Rochester, New York. According to the article, many families delay conversations about medicaid planning until a parent suddenly requires nursing home care or a loved one begins experiencing serious medical limitations. These situations often create immediate concerns about retirement savings, property, and future financial stability.

The article explains that one of the most common misconceptions involves timing. Some families believe that once long-term care begins, every opportunity for asset protection disappears. Others assume there is always a simple strategy that can fully protect all savings and property. The article notes that neither assumption is usually accurate under current medicaid rules.

Earlier medicaid planning generally creates more flexibility for families. The article describes how advance planning may allow time to review trusts, update estate planning documents, or reorganize certain assets before care costs become overwhelming. Planning early can also help families better understand how nursing home care and other long-term care expenses may affect future financial security.

At the same time, the article emphasizes that a late start does not always eliminate every planning opportunity. Even after nursing home care begins, some legal and financial tools may still help reduce financial stress or preserve portions of family assets. The article explains that timing affects which strategies may still be available and how medicaid rules apply to each situation.

One major topic covered in the article is the Medicaid look-back period. According to the article, Medicaid programs review certain financial transfers made before a benefits application is submitted. Transfers that violate medicaid rules may lead to penalties or delayed eligibility periods. Families often do not realize how important these timing requirements become until they begin reviewing their financial history carefully.

The article also discusses protections that may exist for certain exempt assets. In some situations, a primary residence may receive limited protection under medicaid rules. Married couples may also qualify for protections designed to support a healthy spouse who continues living independently. These provisions can sometimes help preserve financial stability for the spouse not receiving long-term care services.

Long-term care expenses are another major concern addressed in the article. Nursing home care, assisted living services, and home health support can quickly drain retirement savings. The article notes that families often feel pressure to make fast decisions while also coping with emotional stress and medical uncertainty. This pressure may lead to confusion about what medicaid planning can realistically accomplish.

Estate planning is also closely connected to these discussions. The article explains that wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and beneficiary designations may all affect financial decisions tied to long-term care. Without proper legal authority, families may face delays or court involvement during already difficult circumstances. Reviewing estate planning documents may still help clarify remaining options, even when planning begins later than expected.

The article concludes that while earlier planning usually creates the greatest flexibility, families should not assume every opportunity disappears once long-term care begins. Understanding medicaid rules, care costs, and available planning tools may still help reduce confusion and improve decision-making during challenging periods.

Grants to fund innovative programs that aim to improve postpartum care and address maternal depression in underserved communities

LONG ISLAND CITY, N.Y., Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Fidelis Care, a statewide health plan with more than two million members in New York State and a Centene Corporation company, has opened applications for up to $140,000 in Here for Your Health maternal health grants. The grants aim to support healthcare providers and community-based organizations across New York that advance innovative solutions to improve postpartum visit adherence and expand maternal depression screening in underserved communities.

Applications are now open and available at fideliscare.org/maternal-grant. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. September 21, 2026.

"As a health plan serving communities across New York State, Fidelis Care is committed to making sure every mother gets the care she needs after childbirth," said Fidelis Care Vice President and Medical Director Dr. Camille Pearte. "Through these maternal health grants, we can work with providers and community partners to help women return for postpartum visits, receive timely depression screening, and get connected to the right support close to home. By identifying needs early and removing barriers to care, we can improve the health of mothers and give families statewide a stronger start."

Postpartum care and maternal mental health play a critical role in long-term health outcomes for mothers and their families. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) reports that mental health conditions, including depression and anxiety, affect an estimated one in five individuals during pregnancy or postpartum, making early identification and screening essential.

Despite this need, postpartum visit adherence remains inconsistent. Average attendance rates in the United States are about 72% and drop significantly among vulnerable populations. Among patients served by Federally Qualified Health Centers, non-attendance can reach 43%, limiting opportunities for timely follow-up care and routine depression screening.

Fidelis Care plans to announce the recipients of its 2026 Here for Your Health maternal health grants in October in observance of National Depression and Mental Health Screening Month.

Mixue Brings Affordable Tea Experiences to America's Growing Tea Culture

Mixue Brings Affordable Tea Experiences to America's Growing Tea Culture

NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- As interest in tea-based beverages continues to grow across the United States, Mixue, a brand under MIXUE Group (02097.HK), is making specialty drinks more accessible through affordable pricing and diverse flavor offerings. This summer, the brand introduced six seasonal menu items across its U.S. stores, including the first-ever U.S. debut of Green Lemon Tea and Green Lemonade. The launch has generated positive consumer feedback and social media engagement, reinforcing Mixue's commitment to delivering quality-driven, value-forward beverages for everyday consumers.

A Growing U.S. Tea Market

Tea-based beverages continue to gain traction in the United States, one of the world's largest tea-importing markets. Iced tea remains the dominant format, while growing demand for ready-to-drink tea, fruit-infused beverages, and health-conscious options is helping expand the category. As consumers increasingly look for alternatives to sugary soft drinks, younger generations are driving tea consumption beyond traditional breakfast occasions and into everyday refreshment moments.

In this environment, Mixue entered the U.S. market with a simple proposition: making quality tea-based beverages and soft-serve ice cream available at prices that encourage everyday enjoyment. As the world's largest freshly-made beverage and food chain by store count, the brand has gained recognition in international markets for offering a broad range of products at accessible price points, making it easier for consumers to explore new tea flavors and fruit beverages.

A key part of Mixue's ability to maintain affordable pricing lies in its global supply chain and operational efficiency. The company's value proposition is not built on lowering product quality, but on economies of scale, integrated sourcing capabilities, and streamlined operations developed through years of international expansion. These advantages enable Mixue to continuously introduce new products while keeping prices within reach of everyday consumers, making quality tea-based beverages more accessible to a wider audience.

Summer Launch Validates Consumer Appeal

This summer's seasonal menu has provided another example of how that strategy resonates with consumers. Since launch, several limited-time offerings have received encouraging feedback, reflecting growing demand for refreshing tea drinks. Among them, the banana-themed beverages, including Banana MIXUE Shake and Creamy Banana, have generated notable discussion on social media, with customers sharing reviews, recommendations, and product photos online.

The launch has also helped introduce Mixue to new consumers, contributing to increased brand visibility and store traffic. Beyond product discussions, some customers have expressed interest in seeing Mixue expand into additional U.S. markets, reflecting growing recognition of the brand's combination of variety, affordability, and approachable flavors.

Looking ahead, Mixue plans to continue expanding its presence in the United States through new store openings and ongoing menu innovation. By combining quality ingredients, accessible pricing, and products tailored to evolving consumer preferences, the company aims to become an increasingly familiar part of everyday refreshment occasions and modern tea culture in America.

About MIXUE Group

Guanlan-KI-Anwendungen: Höhere Genauigkeit, niedrigere Kosten, intelligentere Interaktion

HANGZHOU, China, 8.

WiMi Develops Variational Quantum Algorithm-Driven Multi-Dimensional Data Pooling Optimization Technology

BEIJING, Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- WiMi Hologram Cloud Inc. (NASDAQ: WiMi) ("WiMi" or the "Company"), a leading global Hologram Augmented Reality ("AR") Technology provider, announces the proposal of a multi-dimensional pooling optimization scheme based on Variational Quantum Algorithms (VQA), which, by integrating the Quantum Haar Transform (QHT) with quantum partial measurement technology, constructs a quantum pooling mechanism that simultaneously possesses local feature preservation capability and dimension compression efficiency.

Quantum Haar Transform's High-Dimensional Data Mapping Mechanism: The Haar transform, as an orthogonal transformation method in the classical signal processing field, achieves multi-scale feature extraction and data compression of signals through decomposition by orthogonal basis functions. Its core advantage lies in its sensitive capture of local abrupt features. The Quantum Haar Transform (QHT), as an extended implementation of the classical Haar transform under the quantum computing framework, is constructed based on the universal quantum circuit of the quantum Fourier transform and utilizes the superposition property of quantum states to achieve efficient orthogonal transformation of high-dimensional data. In technical implementation, QHT maps high-dimensional classical data to the quantum state space through parameterized quantum gate groups, where each qubit corresponds to one feature dimension of the data, and the superposition coefficients of the quantum state encode the feature intensity information. This mapping process constructs correlations between feature dimensions through quantum entanglement, preserving the global structural information of the data while reinforcing the correlations of local features through the local action domain constraints of quantum gates, thereby solving the problem of exponentially increasing computational complexity that classical Haar transform faces in high-dimensional data processing.

Quantum Partial Measurement Pooling Implementation Mechanism: Unlike classical pooling strategies that achieve dimension compression through hard discarding of data, quantum partial measurement realizes selective extraction of key feature information in the quantum state based on the probabilistic interpretation of quantum states. After QHT completes the quantum mapping of high-dimensional data, partial measurement is performed on the qubits by designing specific measurement bases (matched with preset pooling strategies): if the max-pooling strategy is adopted, the construction of the measurement basis aims to maximize the collapse probability of the quantum state corresponding to the maximum feature intensity; if the average-pooling strategy is adopted, the probabilistic weighted average of feature intensities is achieved through the orthogonality constraints of the measurement basis. During this process, unmeasured qubits remain in superposition states, ensuring the continuity of local feature correlations, while the measurement results are output as low-dimensional classical feature vectors, realizing the synergistic optimization of "feature preservation–dimension compression" and effectively avoiding the information loss problem inherent in classical pooling.

Variational Quantum Algorithm Parameter Optimization Framework: VQA, as a class of quantum-classical hybrid optimization algorithms, consists of a core architecture comprising a Parameterized Quantum Circuit (PQC) and a classical optimizer. The classical optimizer iteratively adjusts the parameters of the PQC to minimize a preset loss function (such as feature reconstruction error or classification accuracy loss), thereby achieving precise control of the quantum state transformation process. In the multi-dimensional pooling optimization task, the core role of VQA is embodied in its ability to optimize the quantum gate parameters of QHT, ensuring that when high-dimensional data is mapped to the quantum state space, the correlations of local features are maximally preserved; to optimize the measurement basis parameters of quantum partial measurement, making the pooling output features optimally adapted to downstream tasks (quantum classification, quantum regression); and to mitigate errors caused by quantum state decoherence through iterative optimization, thereby improving the stability of the pooling process.

Compared with traditional pooling methods and existing QML schemes, this VQA-driven multi-dimensional pooling technology possesses high-dimensional adaptation capability, without the need to reduce high-dimensional data to one-dimensional space, and can directly complete pooling operations on multi-dimensional data in the quantum state space, fully preserving the local structural information of the data; at the same time, it also exhibits efficient computational characteristics. Leveraging quantum parallelism and the efficient orthogonality of QHT, it achieves polynomial-level reduction in computational complexity compared to classical high-dimensional data pooling algorithms, significantly improving the processing efficiency for large-scale data; additionally, by adjusting the quantum gate structure and parameters of the PQC, it can flexibly adapt to the processing needs of unstructured data of different dimensions and types, such as one-dimensional audio, two-dimensional images, three-dimensional point clouds, and hyperspectral data.

The multi-dimensional pooling optimization technology under the variational quantum algorithm framework studied by WiMi effectively breaks through the locality preservation limitations of traditional pooling methods in high-dimensional data processing, fully unleashes the inherent advantages of quantum computing in feature representation and computational efficiency, and provides key technical support for the practical application of QML in complex multi-dimensional data tasks. With the iteration of quantum hardware technology and the continuous optimization of quantum algorithms, in the future it will build efficient and precise quantum machine learning models in fields such as computer vision, remote sensing detection, biomedicine, etc., driving QML from theoretical research toward real-world applications.
