Aligned Marketing: Huawei is committed to helping its partners identify customer needs, launch new solutions, and make standout solutions more visible, verifiable, and replicable so customers can quickly find the solutions they want. Huawei has opened up its Market-to-Lead (MTL) process capabilities to partners and worked together to effectively bring customer-facing solutions to market. Huawei has launched solutions alongside partners, showcased standout solutions at Huawei's booths and exhibition halls, and built industry showcases with customers. These efforts have enabled customers to better understand the value of solutions and actual validation results. Huawei has worked with partners to build more than 130 showcases with customers globally.

Local Service, Consistent Quality: Huawei is expanding and localizing its partner services, so that partners can offer customers the same high-quality service as Huawei. Partners can access the knowledge, tools, expertise, and service experience through Huawei's O3 Partner Service Enablement Platform. Huawei offers talent development and certification programs for various service roles, which have been used to cultivate more than 50,000 AI professionals over the past 3 years.

Efficient Collaboration: Huawei provides two one-stop intelligent platforms for partners that simplify the way they work with Huawei. These platforms (HUAWEI eFly and HUAWEI ePartner) serve as unified portals that help partners navigate Huawei's processes, and provide partners with the data they need to carry out one-stop marketing, transaction, and service operations. Partners gain access to the documentation, tools, IT interfaces, and AI-assisted configuration and intelligent Q&A tools, that help make serving customers more efficiently.

Chen said, "In the era of true intelligence, scaling proven practices across industries will allow more companies to thrive. Industrial intelligence is creating unprecedented opportunities, and Huawei wants to work with our customers and partners to deploy successful benchmarks at scale, and bring the benefits of AI to more industries, organizations, and people."

GoChengdu: The Sun and Immortal Bird Flies Over the Nile: "Dialogue Between Solar Civilizations--Chengdu Panda Week Series" Held in Cairo

CAIRO, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- On September 17, local time, the "Dialogue Between Solar Civilizations—Chengdu Panda Week Series" kicked off at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Cairo, Egypt. The event featured a thematic exhibition on the ancient Shu civilization and a culture and tourism promotion conference for Chengdu, drawing tourists from multiple countries as well as local residents to visit and take photos. The year 2026 marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Egypt. With civilization serving as a bond, this event has added a vivid Chengdu footnote to the millennia-old friendly exchanges between the two nations.

More than one hundred guests from institutions including the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, the Egyptian State Ministry of Information, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, and Cairo University attended the event, witnessing the announcement of multiple cooperative achievements. The event focused on the shared core of the two great civilizations: the ancestors of ancient Shu revered the sun, embedding their understanding of the universe into the Gold Ornament of the Sun and Immortal Bird; ancient Egyptians worshipped the sun god Ra and pursued the light. Despite being thousands of miles apart, these two ancient civilizations share highly resonant spiritual aspirations.

Themed "Dawn, Power, and Eternity," the exhibition highlighted 1:1 replicas and 3D-printed models of 16 representative artifacts carefully selected from the Jinsha and Sanxingdui ruins. These include monumental relics such as the Gold Ornament of the Sun and Immortal Bird, the Large Gold Mask, the Bronze Standing Figure, and the Sanxingdui Gold Scepter. The Golden Panda Awards cultural space established on-site attracted significant attention, utilizing an audio-visual platform to continually foster exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign civilizations.

Held concurrently, the culture and tourism promotion conference titled "Chengdu, More Than Just Giant Pandas" attracted nearly one hundred Egyptian representatives from various sectors.

In his address, Zhu Xiaozhong, Minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, stated that since the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Egypt 70 years ago, the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two nations has continued to deepen. The embassy will persistently build bridges of communication, promote the normalization of cultural exchanges and personnel visits between both sides, and consolidate the foundation of mutual affinity between the two peoples. At the event, Sichuan Yuanhai International Travel Agency signed an agreement with a local Egyptian travel agency, reaching a consensus on a new round of cooperation for culture and tourism.

This year marks the eighth anniversary of the launch of the direct flight between Chengdu and Cairo. On the eve of the event, Sichuan Airlines launched an in-flight cultural interaction utilizing its direct flights, promoting Chengdu to domestic and international passengers through formats such as bilingual city magazines and fun quizzes. A special feature in the September issue of HELLO Chengdu systematically outlined the three-millennium-long civilizational origins between Chengdu and Cairo, as well as the achievements of their contemporary cooperation in multiple fields.

Mohamed Shoman, Advisor on Public Communication and Training Affairs to the Egyptian State Minister of Information, stated that this event represents a beautiful encounter and an in-depth dialogue between two major civilizations. He expressed his expectation for friends from all countries to jointly fulfill the "solar appointment" of ancient Shu, and to experience the unique charm of the integration and coexistence of different civilizations.

New platform makes proven AI capabilities available for MSPs, software vendors and business users to configure and compose

LONDON, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- askelie® today announced the launch of its Operational AI Platform, opening the proven technology behind its enterprise AI solutions to MSPs, software vendors and business users.

The platform enables customers and partners to configure and compose AI-powered solutions using proven, reusable askelie capabilities. Rather than building an AI foundation from scratch, organisations can combine existing capabilities to address real business needs — providing a practical route from AI ambition to business value, with faster time to value, lower cost and less risk.

"We've spent years using askelie to rapidly deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions. What we're doing now is opening that capability up," said Derek Kilroe, CEO and Founder, askelie. "For the first time, MSPs, software vendors and business users can take proven AI capabilities and configure and compose their own solutions for real business operations — without having to build the underlying AI platform themselves."

Built around Understand • Decide • Act • Control, the platform brings together AI intelligence, data, knowledge, workflows, enterprise integrations, security and governance.

At launch, customers and partners can configure and compose existing capabilities to create and adapt AI-powered Assistants and Automations around specific business needs. The platform provides the foundation for increasingly sophisticated AI applications, including Digital Workers and Autonomous Applications.

"Customers shouldn't have to assemble an AI technology stack before they can solve a business problem," said Ian Halliday-Pegg, Chief Product Officer, askelie. "askelie brings the capabilities needed for operational AI together in a platform that can be combined and reused for different needs."

The platform is designed to be practical, affordable and trusted. Proven, reusable capabilities reduce the need to build enterprise AI from scratch; model choice and consumption-based pricing help control costs; and security, governance, human oversight and auditability are built into the platform.

The platform also enables MSPs to configure and reuse AI-powered services across customers, while software vendors can extend existing products, enhance them with external data and context, and configure new AI-powered capabilities.

The askelie Operational AI Platform is available from 21 September 2026.

UK digital pathology provider Source BioScience chooses Sectra to enable seamless pathology collaboration across the NHS

LINKÖPING, Sweden, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- International medical imaging IT and cybersecurity company Sectra (STO: SECT B) has signed an agreement with Source BioScience UK Ltd (Source BioScience) in the UK to deliver its service for advanced share and collaborate workflows. As the first Sectra customer in this domain, Source BioScience will now be able to support NHS organisations that need to send pathology cases to external specialists. This lays the foundation for national telepathology networks in the UK, and for improved access to specialist pathologists.

The service, Sectra Image Exchange Portal (Sectra IEP), is a cloud-based, vendor-neutral platform for exchanging and collaborating around medical images. It is already used by more than 500 institutions, mainly within radiology. Recently, the service has undergone substantial modernisation which now makes it possible for healthcare providers to benefit from new advanced workflow functionality, for the service to be used by specialties other than radiology and for customers to move beyond image sharing to managing workflows between organisations.

"This milestone integration will give the NHS a seamless digital pathway to external specialists, with diagnoses delivered straight back into its own records - reducing turnaround times, easing consultant shortages and tackling reporting backlogs," says Nick Bills, Healthcare Director at Source BioScience.

Source BioScience is a UK laboratory services provider specialising in histopathology and genomics. Its pathology business supports more than 85 NHS trusts alongside a network of private healthcare clinics, with histopathology delivered from laboratories in Nottingham, Chichester and Cambridge.

NHS pathology services are handling growing case volumes with a limited number of reporting consultants, and increasing subspecialisation means the pathologist best suited to a case is often at another organisation. Sending work to external capacity providers today typically relies on bespoke arrangements between individual laboratories, including the transportation of physical glass slides. This slows reporting times and creates administrative overhead for both the sending and receiving laboratories. With Sectra's service, a case can be created as a job directly from a laboratory's worklist, delegated to a receiving organisation, and the completed report returned to the referring organisation's own records.

"IEP is the backbone of image sharing across the NHS. With our modernised platform, we are introducing advanced workflows between healthcare organisations, and extending that trusted national network into pathology. Connecting trusts directly with external specialists like Source BioScience means cases and completed reports move seamlessly across organisational boundaries. It is a step towards an NHS where expertise is always within reach, and where work moves between organisations as easily as it moves within them," says Jane Rendall, Managing Director for Sectra UK and Ireland.

The three-year contract was signed in the second quarter of Sectra's 2026/2027 fiscal year. Up to 60,000 cases are expected during the first year, scaling up in subsequent years.

Turing Award Laureate, Moderna Co-Founder, BioInnovation Institute CEO and Helmholtz Munich Computational Health Director to Advise on Decoding the Logic that Governs How Cells Change and Carrying That Knowledge Into Medicine

BOSTON, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Cellular Intelligence, the AI company building a universal foundation model of cell signaling, today announced that Yann LeCun, Robert "Bob" Langer, Jens Nielsen and Fabian Theis have joined its Scientific Advisory Board. Langer joins the company's Board of Directors as an observer.

Between them, the four hold a Turing Award, more than 1,500 patents, the founding of Moderna, the leadership of the Novo Nordisk Foundation's BioInnovation Institute and Germany's highest research honor. Their work and expertise tie directly to the key problems Cellular Intelligence was founded to solve: learning predictive models from complex systems, and turning that understanding into therapeutic applications.

"We are bringing together people who have changed what is possible in AI, biology and medicine to tackle a shared question: can we learn the rules that govern how cells change, and use that knowledge to help patients? Yann, Bob, Jens and Fabian bring the scientific imagination and rigor this challenge demands. Their perspectives will be invaluable as we connect predictive models to experiments and, ultimately, to therapeutic development," said Micha Breakstone, Ph.D., Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Cellular Intelligence.

Yann LeCun received the 2018 ACM A.M. Turing Award for foundational work in deep learning, founded Meta's Fundamental AI Research lab (FAIR) and served as the company's Chief AI Scientist from 2013 to 2025. He is Executive Chairman of AMI Labs, the world-model company he co-founded, and Silver Professor at New York University. His research centers on AI systems that learn how the world works and predict what happens when they act on it.

"The models that interest me learn how the world works from data and predict what happens when we act on it. Living cells present an extraordinarily rich version of that challenge. What excites me about Cellular Intelligence is the combination of new methods for large-scale cellular data collection, new phenomenological and causal models of cellular dynamics trained from this data, and a team with the ambition to connect the two. The possibility of learning principles that transfer across biological contexts is especially compelling," said Yann LeCun, Scientific Advisory Board member.

Robert "Bob" Langer is an Institute Professor at MIT, the institution's highest faculty rank, and the most cited engineer in history. He holds more than 1,500 issued and pending patents, and as a co-founder of Moderna and some 40 other companies, he has received the National Medal of Science, the National Medal of Technology and Innovation and the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering for work that turned drug delivery and tissue engineering into medicines that reach patients.

"I have been deeply impressed by the team Cellular Intelligence has brought together. What draws me to this company is the opportunity to connect a fundamental understanding of cell behavior with the practical work of developing medicines. If we can better predict how cells respond to an intervention, we can ask more precise questions, design better experiments and open new possibilities for patients. I am excited to help the team pursue that potential," said Robert "Bob" Langer, Scientific Advisory Board member and Board Observer.

Jens Nielsen is Chief Executive Officer of the BioInnovation Institute, the Novo Nordisk Foundation's DKK 3 billion-plus engine for founding and scaling life-science companies in Copenhagen, and Professor of Systems Biology at Chalmers University of Technology. Author of more than 900 scientific publications and founder of several biotech companies, he was knighted by Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark in 2019 and is a member of the U.S. National Academies of Sciences and Engineering, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters.

"Understanding a cell means understanding how its many systems work together. Cellular Intelligence is bringing quantitative models and carefully designed experiments to that problem at an ambitious scale. I am excited by the opportunity to help turn that understanding into more predictable cell engineering and new therapeutic possibilities," said Jens Nielsen, Scientific Advisory Board member.

Fabian Theis is Director of the Computational Health Center at Helmholtz Munich, Scientific Director of Helmholtz AI and Professor of Mathematical Modeling of Biological Systems at the Technical University of Munich. A co-founder of the Human Cell Atlas and a member of its Board of Directors, he received the 2023 Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize, Germany's highest research honor, for machine-learning methods that predict how cells develop and respond to drugs, and is a member of the Leopoldina, the German National Academy of Sciences, and EMBO.

"Progress in modeling cells depends on the quality of the questions our data allow us to ask. What excites me about Cellular Intelligence is its ambition to build rich experimental data and predictive models together. That combination creates an opportunity to test how well models generalize across biological contexts and to learn systematically from where they fall short," said Fabian Theis, Scientific Advisory Board member.

The appointments follow Arjun Raj's arrival as Chief Scientific Officer and scientific co-founder, and the company's acquisition of STEM-PD, an investigational Parkinson's disease cell therapy with FDA Fast Track designation, from Novo Nordisk in May 2026. Manufacturing and clinical data from the program flow back into the company's models. The company's investors include Khosla Ventures, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and Novo Nordisk.

It is the experience Instagram and TikTok trained a generation to expect, applied to news. The difference is who sets the priorities: editors still decide what leads.

Publishers just crossed a threshold. Social media and video networks have, for the first time, overtaken publishers' own websites and apps as the most common way people get news, used by 54% of respondents across 48 markets against 51% for news organizations' own sites and apps, according to the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism's Digital News Report 2026.

Catch Me Up is the clearest example. A wildfire breaks out Monday, and a reader follows the first evacuation orders that night. She is off the news for three days. By Thursday, the story has moved four times: containment lines held, two neighborhoods cleared to return, the county opened an investigation into the local utility, the casualty count revised. Arc XP Compass knows she was here and where she stopped, and opens with a recap of what changed while she was gone, in order, built from the newsroom's own reporting rather than a generated summary. A first-time visitor sees none of it.

Behind that summary, every update on the fire sits in a single storyline called Dynamic Timelines, instead of scattering across a dozen separate links. Editors keep their hands on the wheel: Editorial Priority Controls lets them pin, boost, or bury any story directly, so the personalization never drifts from the newsroom's own judgment.

The pressure is concentrated among younger readers. Among 18-to-24-year-olds, 52% now name social media, video networks or AI chatbots as their main way of getting news, 32 points ahead of the next source. Publishers' own sites and apps are no longer the main source of news for any age group globally. Ten percent worldwide used a standalone AI chatbot for news last week, up from 7% a year earlier, and 16% among under-35s. Referral traffic is fragile too: Google Discover traffic to Reach, the UK's largest commercial news publisher, fell 46% in the second half of 2025, per the company's investor disclosure.

A general-purpose chatbot cannot replicate what a newsroom builds over years: an editorial voice, a reader's trust, and an archive of its own reporting. Global trust in answers from AI chatbots sits at 20%, against 37% for news overall. Arc XP calls the approach adaptive discovery.

Arc XP Compass is platform-agnostic. It works with any content management system or delivery stack, whether or not a newsroom runs the rest of its site on the Arc XP hybrid CMS platform.

"Publishers don't want to hand their relationship with readers over to somebody else's algorithm. They want a better version of their own front page," said Ryan Gladstone, Director of Product Engineering, Arc XP. "Arc XP Compass lets a newsroom's priorities guide the experience while still meeting each reader where they left off. A chatbot can't do that, and a generic recommendation engine won't respect the newsroom."
