Tagged Out and Flocked and Loaded join the Deer Camp Harvest Collection with seasonings formulated for big game, waterfowl and upland birds

IRON RIDGE, Wis., Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- With hunting season underway across much of the country, PS Seasoning launched two new seasonings built specifically for wild game: Tagged Out Backstrap Blend, a venison and wild game seasoning, and Flocked and Loaded Wild Fowl Rub, made for waterfowl and upland birds. Both are formulated for the lean, rich and distinctly flavored meat hunters bring home, rather than adapted from blends designed for farm-raised beef and chicken.

U.S. hunters harvested more than 6.1 million whitetail deer in the 2024–25 season, according to the National Deer Association's 2026 Deer Report, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service estimates waterfowl hunters took more than 14.9 million ducks and 3.6 million geese in the 2025–26 season. PS Seasoning has supplied bulk seasoning to meat processors, meat markets and butcher shops since 1977 and brings that same craft to products for hunters who cook and process their own harvest.

"Wild game is different from the meat most people buy at the store, and it cooks differently too," said Jed Hanson, Executive Chef at PS Seasoning. "Venison is lean and cooks fast, and duck and goose have a richer flavor than chicken. When the seasoning is built for the meat, it brings out the flavor hunters worked hard for instead of covering it up."

The new seasonings include:

- Tagged Out Backstrap Blend ($8.99): Combines garlic, onion and black pepper with red and green bell peppers, tomato and Worcestershire for a savory crust on lean cuts. Designed for backstrap, tenderloin, steaks and roasts from venison, elk, antelope and wild hog, the all-purpose blend can also be mixed into burgers, chili and jerky.

- Flocked and Loaded Wild Fowl Rub ($8.99): Pairs orange peel, brown sugar, paprika and ginger to complement the rich, dark meat of duck and goose. Developed for waterfowl and upland birds, including pheasant, grouse and wild turkey, the rub can also be used on chicken.

From the field to the freezer

With the two new seasonings, PS Seasoning's Deer Camp Harvest Collection now includes more than 70 products for hunters, from snack stick and sausage seasonings, jerky kits, casings, cures and high-temperature cheeses to smokers and dry agers. The collection also includes the Deer Camp Set ($30.99), which bundles a Venison Jerky Kit, Wild Game Seasoning, Ten-Point Venison Chili Mix and Big Buck Bloody Mix.

PS Seasoning also offers free Field to Table resources, including guides to sausage making, jerky, snack sticks and field-to-freezer processing, along with wild game recipes and the Meat Block Calculator, which provides exact seasoning, cure and water measurements based on raw meat weight.

Tagged Out and Flocked and Loaded are available beginning Oct. 20 at psseasoning.com/collections/hunting-and-processing-mixes-and-seasonings and select retailers. A store locator is available at psseasoning.com/pages/store-locator.

Severe Hypertriglyceridemia Market Set for Growth During the Forecast Period (2026-2036) Following Approval of Ionis' TRYNGOLZA and Emergence of Novel Therapies | DelveInsight
Image File
Original HTML

The severe hypertriglyceridemia market is expected to experience steady growth, driven by the rising prevalence of obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and other cardiometabolic disorders associated with elevated triglyceride levels. Additionally, the expected launch of emerging therapies such as Plozasiran (ARO-APOC3; Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals), Pegozafermin (BIO89-100; 89bio), Solbinsiran (LY3561774; Eli Lilly and Company), ION775 (Ionis Pharmaceuticals), and others will further propel the market growth.

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Recently published Severe Hypertriglyceridemia Market Insights report includes a comprehensive understanding of current treatment practices, severe hypertriglyceridemia emerging drugs, market share of individual therapies, and current and forecasted market size from 2022 to 2036, segmented into leading markets [the United States, the EU4 (Germany, France, Italy, and Spain), the United Kingdom, and Japan].

Severe Hypertriglyceridemia Market Summary

- The total severe hypertriglyceridemia treatment market size is expected to grow positively by 2036 in the leading markets.

- The United States accounted for the largest severe hypertriglyceridemia treatment market size in the 7MM in 2025, compared to other major markets, including the EU4 countries (Germany, France, Italy, and Spain), the United Kingdom, and Japan.

- The total number of diagnosed prevalent cases of SHTG in the 7MM were nearly 3.64 million cases in 2025 and is projected to increase during the forecast period.

- Leading severe hypertriglyceridemia companies, such as Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, 89bio, Eli Lilly and Company, Ionis Pharmaceuticals, CRISPR Therapeutics, Northsea Therapeutics B.V., and others, are developing new severe hypertriglyceridemia treatment drugs that can be available in the severe hypertriglyceridemia market in the coming years.

- The promising severe hypertriglyceridemia therapies in clinical trials include Plozasiran (ARO-APOC3), Pegozafermin (BIO89-100), Solbinsiran (LY3561774), ION775, CTX310, SEFA-1024 (NST-1024), and others.

Discover the new therapeutic targets for severe hypertriglyceridemia @ https://www.delveinsight.com/report-store/severe-hypertriglyceridemia-shtg-market

Key Factors Driving the Growth of the Severe Hypertriglyceridemia Market

- Rising Prevalence of Metabolic Disorders: The increasing burden of obesity, type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and other cardiometabolic conditions is contributing to higher triglyceride levels. The growing prevalence of these risk factors is expected to expand the severe hypertriglyceridemia patient pool.

- Advances in RNA-Based Therapeutics: Progress in antisense oligonucleotide and other RNA-targeted technologies is enabling the development of therapies designed to directly regulate pathways involved in triglyceride metabolism. These innovations are broadening the treatment landscape for patients with severe hypertriglyceridemia.

- Emergence of Ionis' TRYNGOLZA: Ionis' TRYNGOLZA (olezarsen) approval is expected to strengthen the treatment landscape for severe hypertriglyceridemia (sHTG), providing a targeted therapeutic option for patients with markedly elevated triglyceride levels. Its approval may increase competition in a market historically characterized by limited disease-specific treatment options and reliance on triglyceride-lowering agents.

- Launch of Emerging SHTG Drugs: The dynamics of the SHTG market are expected to change in the coming years due to the launch of emerging therapies such as Plozasiran (ARO-APOC3; Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals), Pegozafermin (BIO89-100; 89bio), Solbinsiran (LY3561774; Eli Lilly and Company), ION775 (Ionis Pharmaceuticals), CTX310 (CRISPR Therapeutics), SEFA-1024 (NST-1024; Northsea Therapeutics B.V.), and others.

Aparna Thakur, Project Manager of Forecasting & Analytics at DelveInsight, said that for Ionis, TRYNGOLZA approval is more than a new product launch; it's the company's first fully independent commercial rollout in a prevalent disease, a meaningful step up from its historical focus on rare conditions. With plozasiran's sHTG trials maturing and several other mechanisms in the wings, TRYNGOLZA's window of uncontested leadership may be measured in a few short years rather than a decade.

Severe Hypertriglyceridemia Market Analysis

- Treatment for severe hypertriglyceridemia typically includes dietary and lifestyle modifications alongside lipid-lowering therapies such as fibrates, omega-3 fatty acids, statins, and niacin. Among these therapies, statins currently account for the largest share of the market, followed by fibrates.

- Despite the availability of established treatments, including statins, fibrates, and omega-3 fatty acids, SHTG continues to substantially affect patients' quality of life, highlighting a significant unmet need for more effective therapeutic options.

- VASCEPA (icosapent ethyl) is FDA-approved for the treatment of SHTG and cardiovascular risk reduction. However, its triglyceride-lowering effect is relatively modest, and treatment is associated with risks such as atrial fibrillation and bleeding.

- In June 2026, the FDA approved Ionis' TRYNGOLZA as the first and only treatment indicated to reduce triglyceride levels and the risk of acute pancreatitis in patients with severe hypertriglyceridemia. The approval for sHTG was supported by data from the Phase 3 CORE and CORE2 trials.

- The therapeutic landscape is also evolving with the development of novel treatment approaches across multiple molecular classes, including antisense oligonucleotides, small interfering RNA (siRNA), recombinant proteins, and small-molecule therapies.

- Leading companies such as Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, with plozasiran; 89bio, with pegozafermin; and NorthSea Therapeutics, with SEFA-1024, among others, are actively evaluating their respective drug candidates.

Severe Hypertriglyceridemia Competitive Landscape

Some of the severe hypertriglyceridemia drugs under development include Plozasiran (ARO-APOC3; Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals), Pegozafermin (BIO89-100; 89bio), Solbinsiran (LY3561774; Eli Lilly and Company), ION775 (Ionis Pharmaceuticals), CTX310 (CRISPR Therapeutics), SEFA-1024 (NST-1024; Northsea Therapeutics B.V.), and others.

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals' Plozasiran (formerly ARO-APOC3) is an investigational RNA interference (RNAi) therapy designed to reduce the production of apolipoprotein C-III (ApoC3) through the endogenous RNAi pathway. ApoC3 is produced primarily by liver cells and plays a role in regulating lipid and lipoprotein metabolism, including the production and clearance of triglyceride-rich particles.

89bio's Pegozafermin is an investigational fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) analog developed using glycoPEGylation technology and site-specific mutations to replicate key biological activities of native FGF21 while extending its half-life. By targeting underlying metabolic dysfunction, pegozafermin has the potential to address liver and cardiometabolic diseases, including metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) and severe hypertriglyceridemia (SHTG).

Ionis' ION775 is an investigational apolipoprotein C-III (apoC-III) small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapy being evaluated in patients with severe hypertriglyceridemia (sHTG). The therapy is designed to provide durable apoC-III suppression, with the potential to support a twice-yearly dosing regimen. ION775 represents Ionis' first siRNA medicine to enter clinical development.

Northsea Therapeutics' SEFA-1024 is an oral, gut- and liver-targeted, semi-synthetic eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) derivative under development for the treatment of severe hypertriglyceridemia (sHTG). The condition is associated with a substantially elevated risk of acute pancreatitis and may also contribute to increased cardiovascular event risk. Significant unmet need remains due to the limited efficacy of currently available therapies in reducing triglycerides (TG) and non-HDL cholesterol while improving glycemic control. Supported by extensive preclinical data from a translatable human hypertriglyceridemia model, SEFA-1024 may have the potential to address some of the limitations associated with current sHTG treatment approaches.

The anticipated launch of these emerging therapies are poised to transform the severe hypertriglyceridemia market landscape in the coming years. As these cutting-edge therapies continue to mature and gain regulatory approval, they are expected to reshape the severe hypertriglyceridemia market landscape, offering new standards of care and unlocking opportunities for medical innovation and economic growth.

Simple changes and added support can help older adults remain safer and more independent at home

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- As shorter days and changing weather keep older adults indoors more often, Executive Home Care, a leading in-home care service provider, encourages families to make their loved ones' homes safer before winter.

Falls are the leading cause of injury among adults 65 and older, and more than one in four reports falling each year, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Many risks can be reduced by identifying hazards and changes in mobility, strength or daily routines.

"A fall can change an older adult's independence in an instant, but families can reduce many everyday risks with a careful walk-through and the right support," said Jeanette Weinz, president of Executive Home Care. "The best time to make a home safer is before a close call."

Five Areas Families Should Check Before Winter

Executive Home Care recommends that families:

- Clear walking paths and stairs. Remove loose rugs, cords and clutter. Ensure stairs are well-lit and have handrails.

- Improve lighting. Check hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms and entrances during shorter winter days.

- Improve bathroom safety. Consider grab bars, nonslip surfaces and other supports.

- Review health and mobility changes. Consult a health care professional about falls, balance or strength changes, vision concerns, dizziness or medications that may affect stability.

- Prepare for winter disruptions. Plan for meals, transportation, medication access and personal care if severe weather makes travel difficult.

- Bruising, difficulty standing, an unsteady gait, missed meals, changes in personal care or reluctance to use stairs may indicate that an older loved one needs support.

"Families don't have to wait for an emergency before asking whether an older loved one needs additional help," Weinz said. "Changes in strength, mobility or daily routines can be early signs that it's time to have that conversation."

In-home caregivers can assist with care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, mobility and companionship, helping older adults maintain their routines and independence.

PrecisePK Marks 40+ Years of Precision Dosing, Highlights EHR Integrations Driving Safer Pharmacist Workflows

Celebrating four decades of precision dosing, PrecisePK connects directly to Epic, Cerner, and Sentri7 so patient data comes to clinicians and more time goes to patient care.

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- PrecisePK, a therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) software company used by hospital systems worldwide, is highlighting its electronic health record (EHR) and clinical surveillance integrations this year, building on more than 40 years of precision dosing experience since launching from UC San Diego in 1985.

That foundation supports PrecisePK's continued efforts in direct EHR integration, which connects its dosing platform to the systems pharmacists already use every shift. Its integrations with Epic and Cerner (Oracle Health) automatically import vancomycin doses and administration times from the eMAR, along with serum creatinine results, patient demographics, vancomycin levels and specimen collection times; information pharmacists previously had to enter by hand.

That same principle extends to Sentri7®, Wolters Kluwer's clinical surveillance platform, which PrecisePK integrated with through a 2022 partnership. Pharmacists can launch PrecisePK directly from a patient's case within Sentri7, with demographics, dosing history and lab values carrying over automatically.

These integrations allow clinicians to move from the EHR to dosing recommendations without redundant logins or re-typed data, so the time saved on data entry goes back into patient care.

"Manual data entry isn't just a time cost for pharmacists, it's a point where errors can creep into patient care," said Anjum Gupta, CEO of PrecisePK. "More than 40 years ago, this company was built to make dosing decisions more precise. That same standard now applies to the data feeding those decisions, where every value that flows in through Epic, Cerner or Sentri7 is handled with the same rigor our clinical team applies to validating each drug model."

That rigor extends across the rest of the platform as well:

- Extensive Drug Coverage: Support for over 20 classes, including vancomycin, aminoglycosides, and select oncology and cardiology medications.

- Rigorous Validation: Each drug model is clinically validated by an internal team of clinical experts and partnered hospitals to ensure precision and reliability before market release.

- Seamless Implementation: A structured 4-to-7 week timeline covers pre-setup, configuration, and final clinical validation.

- Data Integrity: Strict adherence to HIPAA standards and data principles to ensure enterprise-grade security.

With over 40 years of experience in precision dosing, PrecisePK supports healthcare teams in 20+ countries in making safer, better-informed medication decisions. Looking ahead, PrecisePK remains committed to advancing precision dosing and helping clinicians deliver better patient care.

About PrecisePK

PrecisePK is a therapeutic drug monitoring software platform that provides personalized, model-informed dosing recommendations for vancomycin and other medications. Originally founded in 1985 as T.D.M.S. 2000, PrecisePK is backed by over 40 years of clinical use and has grown into a globally used precision dosing platform trusted by academic medical centers, community hospitals, and government health systems. PrecisePK is based in San Diego, California. For more information, visit www.precisepk.com.

New capabilities within Vee, Visier's Workforce Insights Agent, explains the "why" and "how" behind complex workforce metrics, giving every business leader defensible analysis that once required a dedicated data scientist

VANCOUVER, BC and LAS VEGAS, October 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Visier announced the early access launch of diagnostics capabilities within the Visier Workforce Insights Agent, Vee. Most organizations can see that resignations spiked or time-to-fill slowed but proving why, with enough data science rigor to be credible, has traditionally meant weeks of manual analysis, a dedicated data scientist, or both. Visier uses statistical models to explain complex workforce changes, helping leaders interpret what is working and what isn't, then offering recommendations on what to do about it.

Vee, Visier's Workforce Insights Agent, runs on the Workforce Intelligence Platform, a workforce context engine built from 16+ years of workforce domain expertise that maps, governs, and secures workforce data for people, systems, and AI agents alike. Millions of users already have secure access to governed workforce insights thanks to Vee and Visier's MCP, launched in late 2025, extends those same governed insights to any AI agent or enterprise tool.

With the Diagnostics capabilities, users are now able to:

- Explain the "why" and "how", not just "who," "what," and "where," highlighting the difference between descriptive analytics and a real explanation

- Run rigorous statistical models (the Vee Diagnostics feature will contain multiple statistical options ensuring the right business problem is aligned with the best model to solve it) to find the actual drivers behind a change

- Show the math by ranking every factor it evaluated, flagging confidence levels, while keeping a full audit trail so any answer it delivers is defensible

- Model the projected impact of changing a specific driver, so leaders act on the right lever instead of guessing

- Built into Vee at no additional cost, which means no new tool, workflow, or headcount required to gain the benefits of this capability

For two decades, talent management got solved the same way: another tool bolted onto systems that were never connected to outcomes. Enterprises are now racing to put AI on top of those same disconnected systems, and fragmented data doesn't get smarter with AI, it gets faster at guessing. Boards and CFOs are asking HR to prove that talent investments move the business, and most vendors can't reliably answer that without weeks of manual analysis.

"Vee tells you why your workforce changed and what to do about it which, for a lot of teams, is the difference between having a data point and having an actual decision," said Ian Cook, VP Product, Visier adding "It's like having a Data Scientist on your shoulder, ready to deliver accurate and credible insights."

"The way to get business leaders to agree on talent decisions is for the foundation of the discussion to be rooted in credible and trustworthy data and insights supported by statistical rigor," said Zachary Chertok, Research Director for HCM Applications and Agents at IDC, "Visier's Workforce Insights Agent, Vee, provides the workforce intelligence business leaders are seeking in an approachable way and for a wide range of workforce data users directly inside the workflows they are already using."

This capability delivers what HR leaders need, a data science analyst at the ready: this is not simply a nice to have, it's mandatory for top performing HR teams. Innovations, like Vee, help CHROs and their teams more deeply understand their workforce to provide more value and more impact to their organizations.

These capabilities are available now as part of our early access program for select Visier customers. General availability and additional statistical models are on the roadmap for Winter 2027.

You can see Vee diagnostics in action at the Visier booth #5209 at HR Tech 2026, Mandalay Bay, Oct 20–22, UNLEASH World (booth #106), and Total Talent Asia (booth #3). Learn more about Visier's Workforce Insights Agent Vee here.

CHICAGO, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- To help physicians, medical specialists, researchers, board certification professionals, and the public learn more about board certification, the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) has released the 2025-2026 ABMS Board Certification Report. ABMS also updated the ABMS Data Viewer, which provides free access to aggregated board certification data collected by ABMS and its 24 Member Boards, enabling users to explore and better understand the distribution of board certified physicians and specialists across the U.S. healthcare system.

According to the latest report, more than one million physicians and medical specialists (diplomates) are certified by an ABMS Member Board. ABMS board certification provides an independent evaluation of a physician or medical specialist's knowledge and skills, serving as a trusted credential patients can rely upon when selecting a provider for their healthcare needs.

"ABMS board certification indicates to patients that their physician or medical specialist has met rigorous standards for knowledge and skills," said Richard E. Hawkins, MD, ABMS President and Chief Executive Officer. "By pairing the latest certification report with the enhanced Data Viewer, ABMS is making trusted information more accessible and helping patients better understand the evolving physician workforce."

The 2025-2026 ABMS Board Certification Report reflects a growing population of diplomates who use board certification to demonstrate their specialty expertise and continued commitment to provide safe, high-quality, and effective care.

The new report offers updated, interesting facts about the ABMS board certification landscape and diplomates, including (as of June 30, 2026):

- 1,020,705 diplomates hold an active certification.

- 36,206 new specialty certificates and 15,018 new subspecialty certificates were awarded.

- 796,162 diplomates were participating in continuing certification.

- The breakdown of age and gender for the diplomate population continues to change over time. Currently, 35.3% of all active diplomates are women, while 58.3% are men. Note that 6.3 % of diplomates are unknown.

- Younger diplomates (35-44 years old) are nearly evenly distributed between males (46.7%) and females (43.5%), with approximately 9.8% of diplomates' genders unknown.

Introduced in 2025, the ABMS Data Viewer makes aggregated data available with filtered views. It is organized by Member Board Overview, U.S. Certificates, Continuing Certification Participation, U.S. State Distribution, and International Certificates. Within each view, users may apply filters such as age, gender, specialty, and geographic location. The updated ABMS Data Viewer includes the ability to choose a specific month of interest. It currently includes June, July, and August 2026, with months being added throughout the year.

ABMS also recently published the 2027 ABMS Guide to Medical Specialties. This edition of the guide provides an overview of board certification and descriptions of each specialty and subspecialty area in which physicians may be certified.
