SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- IDEAYA Biosciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: IDYA), a precision medicine oncology company committed to the discovery, development and commercialization of targeted therapeutics, today reported financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026, and provided a business update.

"We are encouraged by the continued momentum at IDEAYA during the third quarter, marked by the successful completion of our first NDA filing for darovasertib in metastatic uveal melanoma," said Yujiro S. Hata, Chief Executive Officer of IDEAYA. "We also provided multiple clinical data updates at ESMO on darovasertib to support its potential as a foundational therapy across the entire uveal melanoma treatment journey as well as updated data from IDE849, our DLL3 TOP1 ADC, in relapsed SCLC and NEC. Looking ahead, we are excited to share new preclinical data on our extensive MTAP/CDKN2A franchise in RAS-mutant cancers that provides the scientific rationale in support of the two clinical collaborations we established with Roche and Genentech."

Selected Pipeline Developments and Corporate Updates

Darovasertib for Uveal Melanoma (UM)

- IDEAYA presented clinical data from two ongoing clinical trials in metastatic UM (mUM) at the 2026 European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress in Madrid, Spain. The OptimUM-01 update focused on the Phase 2 expansion results in 101 HLA-A*02:01-positive patients, including both treatment naïve and 2L patients who received prior tebentafusp. The OptimUM-02 update builds on positive topline data reported in June showing treatment naïve HLA-A*02:01-negative patients receiving darovasertib plus crizotinib (the darovasertib combination) had a meaningful and statistically significant improvement in median progression free survival (PFS) compared to investigator's choice of therapy as determined by both blinded independent central review (BICR) and investigator assessment. Collectively, the data support the broad potential of the darovasertib combination to drive meaningful clinical benefits for patients with mUM, irrespective of HLA-A*02:01 allele status or line of therapy.

- During the third quarter IDEAYA successfully submitted a new drug application (NDA) to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to support a potential U.S. approval of the darovasertib combination in mUM under the Oncology Center of Excellence Real-Time Oncology Review (RTOR) program.

- In primary UM, IDEAYA provided follow-up data at ESMO 2026 from approximately 119 patients enrolled in the Phase 2 OptimUM-09 trial evaluating single-agent darovasertib as a neoadjuvant therapy. Consistent with prior results, >85% of patients treated with darovasertib experienced robust tumor shrinkage, resulting in a 57% eye preservation rate in the enucleation cohort and 74-79% of patients in the plaque brachytherapy cohort achieving a reduced predicted dose of radiation to critical eye structures including the fovea, disc center and lens.

- Due to ongoing site activation and enrollment challenges, IDEAYA has decided to stop enrollment and close the Phase 3 OptimUM-010 trial. This is expected to result in estimated cost savings of $100-125 million that the company will reallocate towards other high-value programs in its pipeline, including potential registrational trials for IDE849 and IDE892.

- IDEAYA is committed to enabling patient access to neoadjuvant darovasertib and plans to submit published data from OptimUM-09 to support potential inclusion in clinical practice guidelines. If successful, guideline inclusion is intended to provide evidence to support the potential clinical benefit of neoadjuvant darovasertib and may allow payor coverage for eligible patients in the United States.

- Following completion of a Type C meeting with the FDA earlier this year, IDEAYA and its partner, Les Laboratoires Servier (Servier), initiated a global Phase 3 registrational trial (OptimUM-011) to evaluate the darovasertib combination in the adjuvant setting of primary uveal melanoma. The trial is expected to enroll approximately 450 patients with increased risk of metastasis, irrespective of HLA status, randomized 1:1 to either 12-months of treatment with the combination or observation. The primary endpoint of the trial is relapse-free survival.

Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs)

- IDE849 (DLL3 TOP1 ADC): IDEAYA's partner, Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. (Hengrui), provided a clinical update at ESMO 2026 from its Phase 1 trial in China evaluating IDE849 in patients with relapsed SCLC and NEC.  The data showed substantial anti-tumor activity together with more mature PFS results and encouraging survival outcomes, including median overall survival (OS) of 17.4 months in the 2L SCLC setting. The update also included data from 19 patients with other NECs, showing an ORR and confirmed ORR of 52.6% (10/19; 95% CI: 28.9â75.6) and 36.8% (7/19; 95% CI: 16.3â61.6), respectively, a median PFS of 7.0 months and nine-month OS rate of 82.4%.  IDEAYA plans to provide the first clinical data from its global Phase 1/2 trial of IDE849 monotherapy in extensive-stage SCLC (ES-SCLC) and NEC by the end of 2026 or early in 2027.

- Following successful Type C meetings with the U.S. FDA, IDEAYA plans to initiate two Phase 3 registrational trials with IDE849 in ES-SCLC and NEC by year end.

- The ES-SCLC trial will enroll 400 patients with prior tarlatamab treatment, randomized 1:1 to IDE849 or investigator's choice of therapy. The primary endpoint for accelerated approval will be ORR by BICR, and median OS for full approval. Secondary endpoints will include median DOR by BICR, PFS, and safety. Details of the design of the Phase 3 trial in NEC will be provided at a later date.

- IDE161 (PARG): IDEAYA is also evaluating a Phase 1 combination cohort of IDE849 with IDE161, a potential first-in-class poly(ADP-ribose) glycohydrolase (PARG) inhibitor in patients with ES-SCLC, NEC and other DLL3-overexpressing solid tumors. IDEAYA has previously shared preclinical data demonstrating the mechanism of action of IDE161 in combination with TOP1-payload based ADCs in driving enhanced anti-tumor activity.

- IDE034 (B7H3/PTK7 bispecific TOP1 ADC): IDEAYA plans to provide initial clinical data from its ongoing Phase 1 dose escalation trial in 2027, which is expected to include preliminary safety and efficacy data. IDE034 is a potentially first-in-class B7H3/PTK7 bispecific TOP1 ADC designed to be internalized only when its target antigens are co-expressed on the same tumor cell, which may enhance its selectivity and tolerability profile relative to monovalent antibody formats.

MTAP pathway

- IDE892 (PRMT5): monotherapy expansion has been initiated in the Phase 1 clinical trial evaluating IDE892 in MTAP-deleted solid tumors, with a focus on non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).  The expansion has been initiated at projected efficacious target human exposures where 24-hour target EC90 coverage has been achieved.  The IDE892 maximum tolerated dose has not yet been reached in the ongoing dose escalation.  Pursuant to the clinical collaboration announced with Roche in May, IDEAYA is also targeting initiation of a Phase 1 trial to evaluate IDE892 in combination with RG6505, Roche's Phase 1 pan-RAS inhibitor, in MTAP-deleted, RAS-mutant PDAC by the end of 2026.

- In August, IDEAYA entered into a Clinical Supply Collaboration Agreement with Genentech to evaluate IDE892 in combination with RG6620, a Phase 1 KRAS G12D inhibitor, in MTAP-deleted, KRAS G12D-mutant PDAC. Genentech will sponsor and conduct the trial and IDEAYA will provide clinical supply of IDE892.

- IDE397 (MAT2A): a Phase 1/2 combination cohort was initiated to evaluate IDE892 with IDE397, IDEAYA's proprietary MAT2A inhibitor, in MTAP-deleted cancers. Expansion is planned by the first half of 2027 with an initial clinical focus on MTAP-deleted NSCLC. Dual inhibition of MAT2A and PRMT5 has demonstrated durable tumor regressions in several preclinical MTAP-deleted tumor models, including NSCLC.

KAT6/7

- IDE574 (KAT6/7): a Phase 1 dose escalation trial is underway in solid tumors including breast, prostate, colorectal and lung cancer. In October, IDEAYA dosed its first patient in a Phase 1 combination cohort of IDE574 with fulvestrant in estrogen receptor positive (ER+) metastatic breast cancer. IDE574 is a selective, equipotent dual inhibitor of both KAT6 and KAT7 which spares other structurally similar paralogs, including KAT5 and KAT8, which are required for normal cell function. KAT6 and KAT7 are epigenetic modulators of cell identity and lineage commitment programs that are corrupted by oncogenic transformation.

140th Canton Fair: Guochao Style Finds New Expressions in Fashion

GUANGZHOU, China, Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- What defines "Guochao," or China-chic, today? At a themed release event on "Guochao Fashion" during Phase 3 of the 140th Canton Fair, exhibitors offered diverse answers, illustrating how Chinese cultural heritage can be reinterpreted through materials, craftsmanship and contemporary design.

Heritage Woven into Contemporary Fabrics

One of the highlights was a collection featuring Shu Brocade, the renowned silk jacquard textile from Sichuan and one of China's four great brocades. Products showcasing original patterns inspired by centuries of cultural heritage attracted attention from visitors who photographed the intricate details. By blending traditional weaving techniques with modern aesthetics, the collection revitalizes an intangible cultural heritage craft while connecting it to today's fashion market.

Another approach combined traditional Chinese ramie fabrics with the beauty of Chinese colors. Known for its natural texture and understated elegance, ramie has long been valued for its lightness and breathability. Through innovative dyeing techniques, designers infused these natural fibers with a rich palette inspired by Chinese culture, creating garments that balance simplicity, fluidity and contemporary style. The resulting collection presents a fresh and lightweight interpretation of Eastern aesthetics, bringing traditional cultural elements into today's wardrobes.

Reimagining Tradition Through Design

Beyond fabrics, designers explored how fashion design itself can convey cultural narratives.

One featured collection drew inspiration from traditional Chinese papercutting art and the vitality of nature. Layered fabrics, intricate cutout details and thoughtful tailoring reinterpret the formal language of papercutting, including its symmetry and continuity, through a contemporary lens. The designs celebrate the independence and individuality of modern women while preserving the enduring elegance of Chinese craftsmanship.

A handbag series inspired by the famed painting A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains offered yet another expression of Guochao style. The collection draws from the blue-and-green landscape imagery of the Northern Song masterpiece. By transforming classical artistic motifs into everyday fashion accessories, it allows consumers to carry a piece of Chinese cultural heritage wherever they go.

As Phase 3 of the 140th Canton Fair continues under the "Better Life" theme, these creations illustrate how tradition and innovation can coexist. Whether through heritage textiles or artistic reinterpretation, they reflect an evolving lifestyle where cultural confidence, creativity and quality come together to shape a better future.

PDVSA Commercial Creditors Committee Launches "National Capital" Initiative to Restructure Commercial Claims and Support Venezuela's Energy Sector

NEW YORK, Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The PDVSA Commercial Creditors Committee will announce on November 17, 2026, the launch of National Capital, an initiative designed to address outstanding commercial claims and other trade obligations of Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA) and its subsidiaries.

At the conference "A voice to move forward: Private Capital in the development of the petroleum industry," National Capital will present a debt sustainability analysis for Venezuelaâprepared by Summa Consulting & Strategyâas well as the results of a national public opinion survey on the debt restructuring process and the private local oil contractors, conducted by Datanalisis.

Addressing Commercial and Trade Claims

Commercial creditorsâincluding oilfield service providers, engineering contractors, suppliers, and construction companiesârepresent a critical pillar of Venezuela's petroleum sector and the country's development.

"Local oil field services, supply and procurement, and construction and engineering companies are essential to supporting Venezuela's energy sector's growth," said Alejandro Dopazo, executive director of oil field services company Grupo Petroamerica C.A. and National Capital's coordinator. "Through the National Capital initiative, we are moving beyond legacy disputes to propose solutions that balance fair recovery for commercial creditors and financing for the operational and capital requirements of national oil contractors."

Key Pillars of the National Capital Initiative:

- Claims Reconciliation & Registry: Establish an independent, reliable procedure for commercial claims and a trade-receivables reconciliation process.

- Value-Recovery & Capital Instruments: Structuring recovery mechanismsâsuch as production-linked instruments or asset-backed structuresâto align creditor recovery with production upside.

- International financing: Propose and structure international financing to expand oilfield services, upgrade technology, and develop the supply chain.

- Governance & Regulatory Alignment: Operating under strict adherence to international legal standards, sanctions frameworks (including U.S. OFAC licensing frameworks), and full transparency.

Strategic Path Forward

The Committee invites eligible commercial creditors, trade suppliers, and claimholders to participate in the National Capital initiative. The Committee is actively engaging financial advisors, legal counsel, and other creditors to ensure the initiative aligns with broader sovereign restructuring efforts.

About the PDVSA Commercial Creditors Committee

The PDVSA Commercial Creditors Committee is an organized forum representing local oil field services, trade suppliers, and engineering and construction contractors with commercial claims against PDVSA and its subsidiaries. The Committee is dedicated to achieving transparent, fair, and sustainable resolutions that support Venezuela's energy sector and the country's development.

On August 27, 2025, the company sold 41 percent of its 51 percent ownership interest in Ball United Arab Can Manufacturing Company, which resulted in Ball deconsolidating the business and retaining a 10 percent ownership interest. We remain on track to deliver our long-term objective of 4 to 6 percent operating earnings growth while continuing to generate strong cash flow and grow EVA across the business. Our balanced approach to capital allocation enables us to return significant cash to shareholders through share repurchases and dividends while investing in attractive EVA-accretive growth opportunities. Supported by a strong financial position and disciplined financial framework, we remain focused on improving returns, strengthening earnings power and delivering attractive long-term shareholder returns," said Dan Rabbitt, senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Alliance of Canadian Defence Companies brings national delegation to Parliament Hill to advance procurement reforms

Delegation calls for greater recognition of Canadian ownership and control in defence procurement, and clearer pathways from innovation to operational deployment.

OTTAWA, ON, Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, the Alliance of Canadian Defence Companies (ACDC) leads a national delegation of defence and dual-use companies to Parliament Hill, calling for greater recognition of Canadian ownership and control in defence procurement and a clearer, more agile pathway from testing to procurement.

The delegation is meeting with senior federal officials and parliamentarians to advance recommendations informed by ACDC's ongoing engagement with Canadian defence companies, including individual consultations with close to 90 firms across the country and a member survey. Across these consultations, companies have described difficulties securing contracts following successful military trials, limited visibility into procurement decisions and uncertainty about future defence demand. They have also raised concerns about whether procurement policies adequately recognize Canadian ownership and control, particularly in priority sovereign capability areas.

"Over the past several months, we've spoken with defence and dual-use companies across Canada, from emerging tech developers to established manufacturers. Despite their different capabilities and experiences, we've heard remarkably consistent concerns about procurement, access to opportunities and the certainty needed to invest and grow," said Dasha Cohen, executive director of ACDC. "Our first Hill Day is about bringing those perspectives directly to federal decision-makers, putting forward practical recommendations and building the relationships needed to turn them into meaningful change."

Preliminary findings from ACDC's member survey suggest that greater certainty around future Canadian defence demand could unlock additional hiring, investment and production capacity. Among 49 responding defence and dual-use companies:

- 86% said they would hire additional employees.

- 73% would develop new capabilities.

- 67% would expand production or delivery capacity.

- 67% would increase research and development.

Strengthening Canadian industrial capacity

ACDC is calling for defence procurement policies that distinguish between companies operating in Canada and those that are Canadian-owned and controlled. Beyond ownership, this means considering where intellectual property is held, where key decisions are made and whether critical defence technologies can be produced and maintained in Canada.

As defence spending increases, these distinctions will help determine whether public investment builds lasting Canadian industrial capacity and strengthens Canada's control over capabilities critical to its national security.

Moving Canadian innovation into operational use

ACDC is proposing a graduated procurement approach, with streamlined processes for awarding smaller initial contracts and opportunities for larger orders as technologies meet operational and performance milestones. Earlier engagement with Canadian Armed Forces personnel, clearer procurement timelines and more predictable demand would help companies develop technologies that meet military needs and invest in expanding production.

"Canada cannot call itself sovereign in space if every satellite it depends on has to launch on another country's rocket. Sovereignty means deploying and operating a capability without asking anyone's permission, and that only holds when the capability is designed, built and controlled in Canada, from the intellectual property down to the software," said Bachar Elzein, founder and CEO of Reaction Dynamics. "Canadian companies are ready to deliver. What they need is procurement that rewards proven milestones and sends a predictable demand signal."

ACDC's delegation includes representatives from North Vector Dynamics, Dominion Dynamics, OVA, PV Labs, Kraken Robotics, Reaction Dynamics, Kepler Communications, JASCO Applied Sciences, Wuxly, Qohash and Canadian Strategic Missions Corporation (CSMC), representing capabilities across autonomous systems, aerospace, marine and space technologies, advanced manufacturing, sensors and cybersecurity.

About the Alliance of Canadian Defence Companies

The Alliance of Canadian Defence Companies (ACDC) is a national trade association representing approximately 200 Canadian-owned and controlled defence and dual-use companies. Founded by co-chairs Eliot Pence of Dominion Dynamics and Paul Ziadé of North Vector Dynamics, ACDC provides a collective voice for domestic industry, advocates for policies that strengthen Canada's sovereign defence-industrial capacity, supports Canadian innovation and improves access to defence procurement opportunities.

GeoComm Highlights the Role of Location Intelligence in Federal Alyssa's Law Proposals

Federal legislation points to a more connected school safety model in which emergency alerts, 9-1-1, and response ready maps work together

ST. CLOUD, Minn., Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- As Congress considers bipartisan school safety legislation inspired by Alyssa's Law, GeoComm is highlighting an important operational connection: an emergency alert is most useful when 9-1-1 professionals and first responders can immediately understand where help is needed.

Two federal proposals currently under consideration address different parts of that challenge:

- The ALYSSA Act, H.R. 1524, would require local educational agencies receiving federal elementary and secondary education funding to ensure each school has at least one silent panic alarm for school security emergencies.

- Alyssa's Act of 2025, H.R. 6809, would support the development, testing, and evaluation of panic alarm technology while establishing proposed requirements for emergency response maps purchased with federal funding.

Both bills have been introduced and referred to congressional committees. Neither has been enacted into federal law.

H.R. 6809 provides a particularly important connection between emergency notification and location intelligence. Under the proposal, federally funded emergency response maps would need to be created in a digital geospatial format, accessible on mobile devices, shareable with public safety agencies, interoperable with emergency response systems, capable of displaying individual floors, and verified annually for accuracy, among other requirements.

From an Emergency Alert to an Informed Response

A school's street address may identify the campus, but it may not tell responders which building, floor, room, entrance, or area is involved. That distinction becomes especially important across large or multi-building campuses.

Beyond the proposed federal requirements, location intelligence plays an important operational role in helping schools and public safety agencies prepare for and respond to emergencies. When integrated with emergency communication technology, public safety grade indoor and outdoor maps can help:

- Display an emergency alert or 9-1-1 caller location within the correct campus and building context

- Provide floor-level information in multi-story facilities

- Identify rooms, entrances, access routes, safety equipment, and other relevant features

- Give school personnel, 9-1-1 professionals, and responders access to a shared operating picture

- Keep emergency response information current as facilities change

GeoComm's role complements panic alert and emergency communication technology by providing the mapping and location foundation that can help turn an alert into actionable information.

"Time equals life during a school emergency. Alyssa's Law is about making sure help can be summoned immediately, but effective implementation also requires schools, 9-1-1 centers, and responders to plan together," said Lori Alhadeff, Founder and CEO of Make Our Schools Safe. "Accurate location information can help responders better understand where an emergency is occurring and support a more coordinated response."

Connecting Federal Policy with Practical Implementation

Make Our Schools Safe (MOSS) has been a leading advocate for Alyssa's Law and stronger school emergency preparedness nationwide. MOSS's 2026 Alyssa's Law Solution Guide also recommends geo-location capabilities that can accurately identify the origin of an alert, including mapped devices associated with known rooms or zones.

GeoComm joined MOSS as a 2026 Annual Partner, bringing together MOSS's school safety advocacy and GeoComm's experience delivering public safety grade indoor mapping and location intelligence.

"A panic alert can begin the emergency response, but responders still need to know where to go and what they will encounter," said Jody Sayre, Vice President of Business Development and Partnerships of GeoComm. "Accurate, accessible, and actively maintained indoor maps can help connect that alert to the building, floor, room, and access information needed for a more informed response. That is how location intelligence supports the larger intent behind Alyssa's Law."

Questions Schools and Public Safety Agencies Can Consider Now

Regardless of the outcome of federal legislation, school districts and their public safety partners can evaluate whether their current plans address the full path from emergency notification to response:

- Where does an emergency alert go, and how quickly does it reach 9-1-1 or law enforcement?

- Does the alert provide more information than a campus street address?

- Can telecommunicators and responders identify the correct building, floor, room, or zone?

- Are school maps accessible to the public safety agencies responsible for responding?

- Are maps maintained, securely shared, and tested as part of joint emergency exercises?

- Who is accountable for keeping facility and response information current?

Schools should also review applicable state and local requirements, which may differ from the proposed federal legislation.

Results for the acquired Biosciences and Diagnostic Solutions businesses (the "BDS Businesses") for the prior year comparable period are the quarterly results for the Biosciences and Diagnostic Solutions business units for the three months ended September 30, 2025, as reported in Exhibit 99.1 of the current report on Form 8-K filed by Becton, Dickinson and Company ("BDX") with the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") on November 6, 2025.  This historical financial information reflects the results of operations of these businesses as they were historically managed by BDX in conformity with U.S. GAAP.  Therefore, such historical financial information does not necessarily reflect what these businesses' results of operations would have been had they operated as a part of Waters during the period presented, and does not reflect changes that have occurred since the consummation of the acquisition of these businesses by Waters, including, among other things, changes in the financing, cash management, operations, cost structure and personnel needs or differences in accounting policies.  For example, BDX provided certain services, such as legal, finance, information technology, human resources, and other infrastructure support to the BDS Businesses prior to their acquisition by Waters. Costs of these services were included in the BDS Businesses' results of operations through allocations based upon a proportion of revenue or headcount as determined by BDX in conformity with GAAP. Such allocated costs may not be indicative or necessary if the BDS Businesses operated as a part of Waters during the period presented, nor are they necessarily representative of the costs that may be incurred in the future.
