Frankfurt (ots)

"ARD TopDocs Wettbewerb"

Leipzig (ots)

Feuer frei! Bitte anschnallen. Diese Geschichte hat alles: Popkultur. Wirtschaftskrimi. Zeitgeschichte. Nostalgie. Und eine Menge überraschender Wendungen. Mit ihrem Dokumentarfilmprojekt "Die unglaubliche Geschichte des Moorhuhns" haben sich Ariane Riecker und Olaf Jacobs von der Firma Hoferichter & Jacobs GmbH aus Leipzig beim 15. "ARD TopDocs - Wettbewerb" in Leipzig durchgesetzt.

SEATTLE, Oct. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Interaction Group is pleased to share its recent collaboration with American Airlines to redesign the airline's passenger safety briefing cards across its fleetâbringing a fresh, passenger-focused approach to one of the most important tools onboard.

At the heart of the redesign is a shared belief: safety information should be clear, intuitive, and easy to understand, especially when passengers need it most. The updated safety cards combine modern visual design with aircraft-specific accuracy and extensive passenger-comprehension testing to help travelers quickly find and understand critical safety information, regardless of age, language, or travel experience.

"For more than 55 years, our work has centered on helping passengers better understand their role in safety," said Trisha Ferguson, CEO of The Interaction Group. "Working alongside American Airlines on this project was a meaningful opportunity to evolve safety communication in a way that supports passengers while meeting the highest operational and regulatory standards."

The project was developed through close collaboration between The Interaction Group and American Airlines' safety, inflight, and brand teams. Together, the teams ensured each card accurately reflects the unique features of each aircraft while maintaining a consistent look and feel across the fleet. The redesigned cards were evaluated using The Interaction Group's established comprehension testing to help ensure passengers can quickly locate, process, and retain essential safety information.

The updated passenger safety briefing cards are now being introduced across the American Airlines fleet, enhancing the onboard experience and reinforcing the airline's ongoing commitment to passenger safety.

HR Leaders Must Redefine Business Partnership to Meet Rising Organizational Complexity: McLean & Company
Image File
Original HTML

The global HR research and advisory firm's new Build a Fit-for-Purpose Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Operating Model resource includes three blueprints designed to help HR leaders assess organizational fit, design a practical HR business partner operating model, and implement it in a way that drives adoption and ongoing refinement.

TORONTO, Oct. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- As organizations navigate growing complexity, changing workforce needs, and increasing expectations for HR to contribute to business outcomes, many HR teams are reassessing whether their current operating model enables the level of strategic partnership leaders require. To bring clarity to the decision-making process, global HR research and advisory firm McLean & Company has released Build a Fit-for-Purpose HRBP Operating Model, a comprehensive resource that helps HR leaders evaluate, design, and implement an HR business partner (HRBP) operating model grounded in the organization's unique context and needs.

"An HRBP operating model should not be adopted by default or used as a quick fix for operational workload," says Lexi Hambides, director, HR Research & Advisory Services at McLean & Company. "The right model starts with a clear understanding of the organization's strategic needs, then translates that understanding into design choices, service expectations, governance, and change practices that enable HRBPs to act as trusted advisors and strategic partners."

McLean & Company explains in the recently published resource that an HRBP operating model clarifies how HRBPs work with leaders and how HR work is structured to support business outcomes. When designed intentionally, the model helps HR focus on outcomes, align people decisions to business needs, and strengthen strategic partnership across the organization.

The firm cautions that the HRBP operating model is a response to increasing organizational complexity, not a default structure. Without first defining the driving need for a stronger HR-business partnership, organizations risk designing a model that does not solve the right problem or deliver meaningful value.

The Build a Fit-for-Purpose HRBP Operating Model resource includes dedicated guidance for each step in McLean & Company's three-phase process:

- Assess the HR Business Partner Operating Model Fit: This phase helps HR leaders determine whether an HRBP operating model is the right fit by assessing current strengths and pain points, analyzing strategic direction and external factors, and identifying the driving need. From there, the resource helps confirm whether the model should proceed, pause, or be reconsidered.

- Design the HR Business Partner Operating Model: This section of the process guides the translation of assessment insights into clear design decisions, including project team structure, design principles, goals and metrics, scope, governance, centralization, and segmentation. It also outlines HRBP service levels, engagement standards, feedback processes, and service level agreements.

- Implement the HR Business Partner Operating Model: The third phase helps HR leaders operationalize the model by aligning HR structure and functions, assessing organizational readiness, developing a rollout plan, and creating an HRBP profile. It also supports change communications, preparation for new ways of working, and ongoing impact monitoring.

Across the three phases, McLean & Company emphasizes that effective HRBP operating models must be grounded in data, aligned to organizational strategy, and supported by clear expectations for how HRBPs and leaders work together.

The research also highlights the importance of leadership buy-in, governance, and implementation planning. By engaging leaders early and preparing HR employees and leaders for new ways of working, organizations can position HRBPs as strategic advisors while supporting a smoother rollout and ongoing refinement.

Seven Letter Unveils Engine to Help Clients Shape How AI Tells Their Story
Image File
Original HTML

As audiences turn to AI for answers, Engine identifies how AI platforms represent brands and powers the strategy to shape it; Engine joins firm's growing suite of AI-focused, expertise-driven offerings

WASHINGTON, Oct. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Seven Letter, a bipartisan, expertise-driven, full-service strategic communications firm, launched Engine, the newest addition to the firm's growing suite of AI-focused services. Engine shows brands, executives and issue advocates how AI tools describe them and their causes and how to improve those results. Combining sophisticated data analysis with the expertise of the Seven Letter senior-led team, Engine helps clients understand how their brand or issue is positioned within generative AI models and provides a strategic plan to shape their narrative going forward â strengthening brands, issues and individuals for the AI age.

Millions of Americans now turn to AI tools for answers and not links. The launch of Engine comes as half of Americans are using AI services, according to a Pew Research survey from June, a 16-point jump in two years. An April 2026 poll from Ipsos showed that most who use AI are looking up information or getting recommendations. Seven Letter calls this dynamic a wake-up call for individuals, brands and issue advocates. The firm contends that individuals, companies and organizations must understand and manage how generative AI engines describe them, as AI tools displace internet searches and audiences seek answers from AI. Engine is a comprehensive answer to that challenge.

"Brands, executives and associations need to know what AI is telling people about them before their audiences search. We built Engine to give clients the ability to see how AI is describing them and design the strategic plans to shape it," said Erik Smith, CEO and founding partner of Seven Letter. "Engine gives clients greater control over sentiment, issues and reputation by combining our expertise-driven approach with AI-backed capabilities."

Seven Letter's Engine is a nod to the firm's legacy and its founding 20 years ago under the name Blue Engine Message & Media, now applied to the engines reshaping how audiences find information. Seven Letter describes Engine as its Answer Intelligence offering, powering clients' AI reputations. Engine combines a benchmark assessment of how brands and their priorities are portrayed by AI with a strategic plan to shape that representation going forward. The plan, crafted by Seven Letter's team of experts, recommends ways to improve a brand's reputation across generative answer engines and can include earned media, content and public affairs strategies designed to drive visibility, correct inaccuracies, address negative themes and counter misinformation. Progress can be tracked through ongoing monitoring and periodic re-audits with Engine.

The firm also noted the need for tools like Engine as a wide gap exists between consumer and company behavior, with fewer than one in four marketers integrating AI search into their strategy, according to a June 2026 survey by Semrush, a web visibility expert now owned by Adobe.

Seven Letter's own research shows the political importance of AI positioning. According to an August 2026 Seven Letter Insight survey, 58% of opinion-elite audiences and 56% of 18- to 34-year-olds trust AI searches "completely" or "a lot" for information about politicians and political candidates.

"Generative AI has changed how audiences seek and consume information. It's no longer enough to rely on keywords, search result positioning or organic traffic to tell your story. As AI platforms scour information sources in seconds and shape both understanding and opinions, companies must define who they are and what they want audiences to know in new and more precise ways. Our approach gives clients greater control in this new environment," added Smith.

More on Seven Letter's AI approach can be found at sevenletter.ai.

Q&A

What is Engine from Seven Letter?

Engine is Seven Letter's Answer Intelligence offering. It combines an audit and a strategic action plan, helping clients understand and shape how AI tools describe them. Each Engine report unites data analysis of how leading AI models portray a brand, executive or issue with a strategic optimization plan from Seven Letter's senior-led team. It is part of Seven Letter's growing suite of AI-focused services. Seven Letter is a bipartisan, expertise-driven strategic communications firm with offices in Washington, D.C., Boston, New York and Los Angeles.

What does an Engine report include?

Each Engine report contains results from custom prompts to leading AI models, including ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, DeepSeek, Perplexity, Copilot and Claude. It includes quantitative analysis of brand visibility, mentions, sentiment, top sources cited, top journalists cited and frequent prompts. Each report also delivers a quantitative score measuring narrative favorability, mention and citation rates, frequency and intensity, and prominence and placement, along with strategic insights and tactical recommendations to improve positioning.

How does Engine work?

Using advanced software tools, Seven Letter starts with a benchmark assessment of how a client and its priorities appear across major generative AI platforms: how they are described, how they compare to competitors, and which AI-generated answers contain negative themes or possible inaccuracies. Based on that assessment, Seven Letter develops a custom strategic plan to improve how AI represents the client. The plan may include earned media, content, and public affairs strategies. Progress can be tracked through ongoing monitoring and periodic re-audits with Engine.

Why is it called Engine?

Seven Letter's Engine is a nod to the firm's legacy and its founding 20 years ago under the name Blue Engine Message & Media, now applied to the engines reshaping how audiences find information. Seven Letter describes Engine as its Answer Intelligence offering, combining a benchmark assessment of how brands and their priorities are portrayed by AI with a strategic plan to shape that representation going forward.

Why does AI search positioning matter for brands and organizations?

More audiences are using AI tools to seek answers rather than browsing traditional search results. Over 50% of Americans are using AI services, according to a Pew Research survey from June, a 16-point jump in two years. More than half used an AI service in the past week, according to an April 2026 poll from Ipsos, and mostly for information and recommendations. AI responses shape perception instantly, often without the user clicking on a single link. Organizations that do not actively manage their presence in AI-generated results are at risk of having their reputation defined by outdated, incomplete or inaccurate information. And yet, fewer than one in four marketers integrate AI search into their planning, according to a June 2026 survey by Semrush, Seven Letter's own August 2026 research found that 58% of opinion-elite audiences and 56% of 18- to 34-year-olds trust AI searches "completely" or "a lot" for information about politicians and political candidates. The finding underscores the stakes for anyone whose reputation depends on how they are described in AI-generated answers.

How can brands and organizations correct inaccurate or misleading information in AI-generated results?

AI models can and do misrepresent brands, organizations and issues â sometimes repeating outdated information, surfacing inaccurate claims, or amplifying negative framing from a small number of sources. For organizations in regulated industries, public policy debates, or competitive markets, the stakes of being inaccurately portrayed in AI results are especially high, because those portrayals increasingly inform how regulators, policymakers, journalists and customers understand an issue. Engine can identify where AI models are getting a client's story wrong and how to correct the record. Seven Letter then builds a strategic plan, which may include earned media, original content, third-party validation, and ongoing monitoring to help corrections take hold across platforms over time.

Miracle League of the Triangle Raises $400,000 at 20th Anniversary Gala

More than 300 guests celebrate two decades of growth as organization approaches 700 players each season

CARY, N.C., Oct. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Miracle League of the Triangle raised $400,000 during its 20th Anniversary Gala on Oct. 13, bringing more than 300 guests together at the Angus Barn Pavilion to celebrate two decades of inclusive baseball and the players, families, volunteers and supporters who have helped build the organization.

The gala carried forward the organization's yearlong anniversary theme, "This Is What a Dream Looks Like!" and reflected the growth of a program that began with 106 players at one Cary field in 2006. Today, the Miracle League serves nearly 700 players each season across three Triangle locations, including 22 players who participated in its inaugural season and remain active today.

"Twenty years ago, the Miracle League of the Triangle began with a simple dream: to create a place where children and adults with disabilities could play baseball, build friendships and be celebrated for everything they can do," said Benjy Capps, executive director of the Miracle League of the Triangle. "Seeing more than 300 people come together and raise $400,000 shows how deeply this community believes in that dream. Their generosity will help us welcome more players, support our programs and continue creating moments that families carry with them long after each game ends."

One of the evening's highlights was a celebrity video tribute featuring messages from Cal Ripken Jr., Jaccob Slavin, Lainey Wilson, and many others. The anniversary celebrity video and additional Miracle League videos are available on the organization's YouTube channel.

The league's growth has been supported by more than 3,000 volunteers each season who serve as buddies, coaches and group partners. Despite two decades of expansion, the player registration fee remains the same as it was in 2006, and each player continues to receive a new jersey, hat, trophy, team photo and individual photo every season.

The organization has also distributed nearly 300 new baseball gloves at no cost to players since launching its Get A Glove program in 2022. Miracle League players now range in age from 5 to 72, and four area high schools have established Miracle League Clubs dedicated to supporting the league's players and programs.

The Miracle League continues to welcome volunteers and donors as it begins its next 20 years. To learn how to volunteer, make a donation or support its programs, visit mltriangle.com.

About the Miracle League of the Triangle

Founded in 2006, the Miracle League of the Triangle provides children and adults with disabilities the opportunity to experience the joy of baseball in an environment where every player can succeed. New Report Finds Technician Shortage Costs U.S. Equipment Dealers $7 Billion Per Year

TUSCALOOSA, Ala., Oct. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. construction and ag dealers face a shortage of 10,000 technicians per year, costing them $7 billion each year in lost business and hindered growth. That is the sobering finding of a new report produced by Randall Reilly in partnership with the Associated Equipment Distributors Foundation.

A companion report produced by Randall Reilly for the Canada Equipment Dealers Foundation and AED found Canadian ag and construction dealers face a shortage of more than 1,200 technicians each year, which costs them more than $800 million per year in lost revenue.

Key report findings include 75% of U.S. dealers and 80% of Canadian dealers ranking their difficulty in hiring technicians at 4 or higher out of 5 with 80% (U.S.) and 78% (Canada) being unable to meet customer demand because of the shortage. And inability to recruit enough technicians is just part of the problem: Technician turnover hits its peak at the 2- to 5-year mark, when techs are fully trained and bringing in the most revenue. At the same time, 79% (U.S.) of technicians say they would take a job in a different industry for better pay and working conditions.

Surveys and interviews of dealers, OEMs, technicians and technical schools conducted for the report found an exceptionally strong consensus around both the causes of the shortage and its possible solutions.

"Stakeholders almost universally agree that stigma around skilled labor and an educational system not designed for today's workforce are at the heart of the shortage," says Scott Miller, Randall Reilly CEO. "Solving the problem will require both raising awareness of the career opportunities and focus on practical, work-based training," Miller said.

PMET Resources Announces Federal Funding of C$1.2 Million to its 100%-owned subsidiary Innova Lithium for Shaakichiuwaanaan Access Road
Image File
Original HTML

MONTREAL, Oct. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- October 29, 2026 â Sydney, Australia

Highlights

- The Government of Canada, through Natural Resources Canada's ("NRCan") First and Last Mile Fund ("FLMF"), has approved a contribution of C$1,215,185 for the Shaakichiuwaanaan access road project.

- The access road project will upgrade approximately 20 kilometers of PMET's 100%-owned access road connecting the Trans-Taiga Road to the Shaakichiuwaanaan critical minerals Project in Eeyou Istchee James Bay, Quebec, improving its reliability and capacity to support increased mining activity.

Ken Brinsden, President, CEO and Managing Director, comments: "We welcome the Government of Canada's support for the Shaakichiuwaanaan access road project. Infrastructure is an important part of bringing a new mine into production, and this contribution would support that work as we advance the Project. Alongside Shaakichiuwaanaan's inclusion in the Canada Investment Summit Prospectus, this is encouraging recognition of its potential to contribute to Canada's critical minerals supply chains."

The Honourable Tim Hodgson, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources comments: "Critical minerals are essential to a prosperous, secure, and sustainable Canada and Quebec, and building and modernizing critical infrastructure like roads is what turns mineral deposits from potential into real projects. This investment will improve access to the Shaakichiuwaanaan lithium project, helping move a world-class resource closer to production while supporting local jobs, strengthening supply chains and reinforcing Canada's position as a reliable supplier of the critical minerals our allies and trading partners need."

PMET Resources Inc. (the "Company" or "PMET") (TSX: PMET) (ASX: PMT) (OTCQX: PMETF) (FSE: R9GA) is pleased to announce that the Government of Canada, through Natural Resources Canada's ("NRCan") First and Last Mile Fund ("FLMF"), has approved funding of C$1,215,185 for the Shaakichiuwaanaan access road project. The application was approved under the Critical Minerals Infrastructure Fund ("CMIF"), which has been integrated into the FLMF, and is being made to Innova Lithium, a PMET 100% owned subsidiary

The 100%-owned access road project forms part of the infrastructure supporting the advancement of Shaakichiuwaanaan, located in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region of Quebec. The Property is accessible year-round by all-season road and is situated near regional hydroelectric power infrastructure. The purpose of the funding is to support upgrading of the access to road to support mining operations.

This funding approval complements Shaakichiuwaanaan's inclusion in the Canada Investment Summit Prospectus, announced by PMET on September 14, 2026. The Prospectus highlighted selected Canadian investment opportunities for international and domestic investors. Additionally, more federal government funding tools available to the Company are currently being assessed.

About PMET Resources Inc.

PMET Resources Inc. is a pegmatite critical mineral exploration and development company focused on advancing its district-scale 100%-owned Shaakichiuwaanaan Property located in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region of Quebec, Canada, which is accessible year-round by all-season road and proximal to regional hydro-power infrastructure.

The Company is advancing Shaakichiuwaanaan as a potential source of lithium, with additional tantalum and caesium opportunities.

In late 2025, the Company announced a positive lithium-only Feasibility Study on the CV5 Pegmatite for the Shaakichiuwaanaan Property and declared a maiden Mineral Reserve of 84.3 Mt at 1.26% Li2O (Probable)1. The study outlines the potential for a competitive and globally significant high-grade lithium project targeting up to ~800 ktpa spodumene concentrate using a simple Dense Media Separation ("DMS") only process flowsheet. Further, the results highlight Shaakichiuwaanaan as a potential North American critical mineral powerhouse with significant opportunity for tantalum and caesium in addition to lithium.

The Project hosts a Consolidated Mineral Resource2 totalling 108.0 Mt at 1.40% Li2O and 166 ppm Ta2O5 (Indicated) and 33.4 Mt at 1.33% Li2O and 155 ppm Ta2O5 (Inferred), and ranks as a top ten lithium pegmatite globally in size. Additionally, the Project hosts the world's largest pollucite-hosted caesium pegmatite Mineral Resource at the Rigel and Vega zones with 0.69 Mt at 4.40% Cs2O (Indicated), and 1.70 Mt at 2.40% Cs2O (Inferred).
