Trove Launches Collection Dividends, an Industry-First Reward for Collectors

Digital Collectibles Platform Expands Its Loyalty Program with Additional Rewards for Collectors

NEW YORK, Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Trove, a digital collectibles app built to reconnect people with the feeling of collecting as a kid, has introduced Collection Dividends, a first of its kind feature that rewards collectors for building collections on Trove.

With Collection Dividends, collectors will earn a minimum of 2% annually on the value of their collection, calculated and paid monthly in Trove Cash. Available to all Trove collectors, without having to stake their assets, lock up or turn over ownership, the benefit is designed to recognize collections as assets with value beyond the initial transaction, and is a first of its kind benefit not currently available on any other major collectibles platform.

While the industry has both innovated and celebrated the transaction, Trove is committed to delivering the same joy across the entire collector experience. Three pillars that make up Trove's commitment to the collector experience: Curating the most desirable cards; 100% and forever buyback options to always provide liquidity to the collector; and now, programs that reward the collector for building long term value on Trove.

"The collectibles industry has spent a tremendous amount of energy making the purchase experience more exciting, but has completely ignored the collector experience," said Michael Katz, co-founder and CEO of Trove. "While everyone claims to be for collectors by collectors, none of their investments actually deliver on that. This is just one more step in our commitment to deliver more value to collectors."

Building for Collectors, Not Just Transactions

Founded in 2025, Trove combines the thrill of opening digital packs with ownership of real, authenticated cards across major sports, Pokémon and One Piece, securely stored in the PSA Vault. After purchasing a pack on Trove, collectors can choose to build a collection on Trove, have the physical cards shipped directly to them, or immediately sell back to Trove for 100% of fair market value.

Trove is also built around transparency and trust, with transparent outcomes, PSA verified inventory, provable fairness that allows collectors to verify outcomes, and flexible sellback options. Collection Dividends is the latest step in Trove's broader vision to build new value and utility around collectible ownership while continually reinvesting in the collector experience.

The founding team is made up of lifelong collectors and bring more than two decades of experience building technology companies at the intersection of data, consumer behavior and emerging technology.

Spoločnosť TCL na veľtrhu IFA 2026 demonštruje svoje rastúce ambície a predstavuje nový rad smartfónov P80

BERLÍN, 3. septembra 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- TCL, globálny líder v oblasti spotrebnej elektroniky a zobrazovacích technológií, dnes na veľtrhu IFA 2026 predstavil rad smartfónov TCL P80.

Kombináciou živých farieb a hlbokého kontrastu AMOLED displeja s technológiami NXTPAPER navrhnutými na zníženie odleskov a vystavenia modrému svetlu podporujú obe zariadenia pohodlnejšie sledovanie počas celého dňa.

„Dnešný smartfón by mal robiť viac než len udržiavať ľudí online. Mal by im pomáhať bez námahy prepínať medzi zachytávaním vzdialených okamihov, čítaním počas dochádzania do práce, zvládaním pracovných úloh a užívaním si zábavy, a zároveň im uľahčiť vypnutie, keď si to želajú," povedal Stefan Streit, riaditeľ marketingu spoločnosti TCL Europe.

Celý rad P80 čerpá z 27-ročných skúseností spoločnosti TCL v oblasti mobilnej komunikácie, posilňuje jej pozíciu profesionálnej značky smartfónov a zároveň sprístupňuje prémiové mobilné technológie väčšiemu počtu spotrebiteľov.

Longtime ALS Network supporter Tom Horton to paddle the Greek Islands honoring his late mother raising awareness and funds for people impacted by ALS in the U.S. and Greece

LOS ANGELES and ATHENS, Greece, Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- ALS Network and the Hellenic ALS Association today announced an international collaboration surrounding an extraordinary endurance expedition connecting two countries and two ALS communities through a shared commitment to people and families impacted by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

This October 5-12, longtime ALS Network supporter Tom Horton will embark on an ambitious paddling expedition through the Greek Islands in honor of his late mother, whose Greek heritage inspired a lifelong appreciation for the country's history, culture and people. Joined by nine family members and friends, the deeply personal journey will carry an equally important purpose: raising awareness of ALS and generating support for individuals and families impacted by the disease in both the United States and Greece.

"Tom's journey is about so much more than the miles he will travel," said Sheri Strahl, MPH, MBA, president and CEO, ALS Network. "It's a deeply personal tribute rooted in family, heritage, and remembrance. We're proud to join with Tom and the Hellenic ALS Association to bring our communities together, raise greater awareness of ALS, and remind people of the powerful impact we can have through collaboration."

ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells responsible for controlling voluntary muscle movement. While ALS affects people and families around the world, access to resources, specialized care and support can vary significantly.

ALS Network and the Hellenic ALS Association share a commitment to improving the lives of people living with ALS while helping build greater awareness and momentum toward a world without the disease.

"We are deeply honored to join ALS Network in this collaboration," said Aspa Karampela, president of the Hellenic ALS Association. "Tom's expedition is a powerful reminder that compassion and determination know no borders. Together, we hope this journey inspires people in Greece and the United States to take action, raise awareness and create new opportunities for people living with ALS and their families."

As part of the collaboration, the Hellenic ALS Association will lead fundraising efforts in Greece to support its work serving people living with ALS throughout the country. In the United States, donations made through ALS Network's Greece expedition campaign will support ALS Network's mission.

Throughout the expedition, both organizations will share photographs, videos and updates from Horton's journey, providing supporters in both countries an opportunity to follow his progress.

The campaign will also highlight the individuals and families whose experiences provide the greater purpose behind the expedition.

For Horton, the journey brings together his mother's legacy, his connection to Greece and his longstanding commitment to the ALS community.

For the two organizations, it represents a simple but powerful belief: ALS knows no borders and neither does hope.

After CRFB Complaint, Smithfield's Lobbyist Admits Chinese Owner's Interest in Farm Bill Lobbying
Image File
Original HTML

The Center for Responsible Food Business uncovered how lobbyists for Chinese-owned Smithfield Foods failed to properly disclose foreign interests for years.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Following a federal complaint filed August 3 by the Center for Responsible Food Business (CRFB) with the Secretary of the Senate and the Clerk of the House, Smithfield Foods's lobbying firm, Greenberg Traurig, LLP, has quietly amended its most recent federal lobbying report to disclose that WH Group (萬洲國際) — the China-based company that owns 86.9% of Smithfield — has an interest in Smithfield's lobbying on the Farm Bill and on foreign ownership of U.S. agricultural land.

Greenberg Traurig's original second-quarter report, filed July 20, 2026, answered "None" on Line 19, where federal law requires lobbyists to disclose any foreign entity's interest in the specific issues they lobbied. Those issues included "Farm Bill reauthorization" and "issues related to foreign ownership of agricultural land," and the report covers $120,000 in lobbying directed at the U.S. House, the U.S. Senate, and the Department of the Treasury.

On August 18, fifteen days after CRFB's complaint, the firm submitted an amended report to name Smithfield's owner — WH Group of Kowloon, Hong Kong — as a foreign entity with an interest in both lobbying areas.

Smithfield's July filing was no isolated lapse; it was the fifteenth consecutive quarterly report since the beginning of 2023 to report lobbying on foreign land ownership legislation for Smithfield while denying that any foreign entity had an interest. Fourteen of the fifteen reports remain uncorrected.

"It should not take a watchdog group's complaint to compel a major global corporation to comply with federal disclosure laws about foreign lobbying interests," said Taylor Warren, President of the Center for Responsible Food Business. "Smithfield's years-long omission and sudden about-face suggest it never intended to admit that its lobbyists really represent China. And why would it? It serves Smithfield to masquerade as an America-first company when pushing for policies that benefit its Chinese owner."

With the corrected filing now on the record, no member of Congress can claim not to know whose interests stand behind Smithfield's money and its lobbying agenda.

Copies of the lobbying filings and CRFB's complaint are available on request.

New England Journal of Medicine" (NEJM) veröffentlicht
Original HTML

New England Journal of Medicine" (NEJM) veröffentlicht

SHANGHAI, 3.
