AWOL Vision Debuts LuxVision at IFA 2026: World's First 4K 120Hz UST with Optical Shift

BERLIN, Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- AWOL Vision, a global home entertainment brand delivering immersive audiovisual experiences through large-format displays, home cinema technology, and connected entertainment.

At IFA 2026, AWOL Vision makes its first appearance following a refreshed global brand identity unveiled in June 2026, marking a new stage in the company's evolution toward a broader home entertainment experience. Centered around its new vision, "Bring Wonder Home," the upgrade brings the AWOL Aetherion Series for ultra-short-throw projectors and AWOL Valerion Series for long-throw projectors under one cohesive AWOL Vision brand framework.

Joining the AWOL Aetherion Series in the ultra-short-throw lineup, AWOL LuxVision debuts as the brand's new flagship projector for premium home entertainment and home theater spaces. The world's first 4K 120Hz ultra-short-throw projector with optical shift, it combines 6000 ISO lumens, RGB triple-laser projection, a 0.18:1 throw ratio, and support for screen sizes up to 200 inches - delivering flagship-grade, large-format home entertainment in one seamless experience.

AWOL LuxVision: Nothing Between You and the Moment

At the heart of LuxVision is 4K at 120 frames per second, processing nearly one billion pixels every second to keep fast-moving scenes sharp, smooth, and naturally detailed — whether it's a game-winning play, a high-speed racing sequence, or an action-packed movie. For gamers, that speed pairs with 1ms input lag, ALLM, VRR, and Dolby Vision Gaming, while three HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort, and 4-channel HDMI Multiview make it easy to bring multiple screens and sources into the moment.

With 6000 ISO Lumens of RGB triple-laser brightness, LuxVision keeps big-screen color vivid from bright daylight to late-night movies. 110% Rec. 2020 coverage, Dynamic Tone Mapping, and a 7-level dynamic IRIS fine-tune color, contrast, and light scene by scene, while Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced, Filmmaker Mode, and 3D support deepen the cinematic experience across every type of content.

Optical performance gives LuxVision another level of flexibility. A 0.18:1 throw ratio turns an ultra-short distance into up to 200 inches of cinematic scale, while one-touch vertical optical lens shift lets you position the image exactly where it belongs — with true 4K detail fully intact. A motorized lens cover and zero-light-leakage lens keep the picture pure, aligned, and free of distraction.

Built on the natural smoothness of 4K 120Hz, AWOL's second-generation Anti-RBE technology combines an optimized algorithm that covers all formats with TÜV Harmful Light Reduction, minimizing visible rainbow artifacts and visual fatigue for cleaner, more comfortable viewing across 2D and 3D content — especially in fast, high-contrast scenes.

Beyond performance, LuxVision is designed to belong in the home. Inspired by the architectural harmony of the Parthenon, LuxVision transforms classical column rhythm into a sculptural, modern UST form that feels refined in any room. With customizable CMF options, its color, material, and finish can be tailored to complement the mood and character of different living spaces.

Together, these technologies are designed around a simple idea: true immersion is not just about making the screen bigger, but about removing the distractions between the viewer and the experience. With LuxVision, there is Nothing Between You and the Moment.

Joseph Spine Institute Announces New Regenerative Therapy Center, Offering Advanced Adipose-Derived Cell and PRP Therapies
Image File
Original HTML

TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Joseph Spine Institute, a nationally recognized leader in advanced spine care and minimally invasive spine surgery, today announced the launch of its Regenerative Therapy Center, expanding the Institute's comprehensive approach to the treatment of spine and musculoskeletal conditions.

The new center provides patients with access to advanced regenerative therapies, including autologous adipose-derived cell therapies and platelet-rich plasma (PRP), as part of a personalized approach to spine and musculoskeletal care.

Advancing Regenerative Spine Care

Regenerative medicine is an evolving field that explores the potential of using a patient's own cells, tissues and biological components as part of treatment strategies.

At Joseph Spine Institute, the Regenerative Therapy Center combines these emerging therapies with the Institute's established expertise in spine diagnosis, interventional pain management, sports medicine and minimally invasive spine surgery.

"Regenerative medicine represents an exciting area of innovation in spine care," said Samuel A. Joseph, Jr., MD, founder of Joseph Spine Institute. "Our goal is to provide patients with access to advanced treatment options while maintaining the same high standards of diagnosis, patient selection and individualized care that guide everything we do."

Utilizing the Patient's Own Biological Resources

One of the therapies offered through the Regenerative Therapy Center utilizes adipose-derived cells obtained from the patient's own body.

Adipose tissue contains a variety of cells and biological components that are being studied for their potential applications in regenerative medicine. The Center also offers platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which is prepared from a patient's own blood and contains a concentrated level of platelets and associated biological factors.

The therapies may be considered for appropriately selected patients following a comprehensive medical evaluation.

"Not every patient is a candidate for regenerative therapy, and regenerative treatment isn't appropriate for every diagnosis," said Dr. Joseph. "We begin with a thorough evaluation to determine the source of a patient's symptoms and then discuss all appropriate treatment options. Our objective is always to match the right patient with the right treatment."

A Personalized Alternative Within Comprehensive Spine Care

The Regenerative Therapy Center is an extension of Joseph Spine Institute's philosophy of providing patients with a full spectrum of treatment options.

Depending on the patient's diagnosis and individual circumstances, treatment may include conservative care, physical therapy, interventional pain management, regenerative therapies, minimally invasive procedures, endoscopic spine surgery or other advanced surgical options.

This comprehensive approach allows physicians to consider both non-surgical and surgical solutions rather than approaching every spine condition with the same treatment strategy.

Exploring the Potential of Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine

Interest in stem cell and regenerative medicine has grown significantly as researchers continue to investigate how cells derived from a patient's own tissues may contribute to tissue repair and healing.

Joseph Spine Institute emphasizes that regenerative medicine remains an evolving field. Patients should understand the distinction between therapies being investigated in clinical research and treatments that have received specific FDA approval for particular medical conditions.

The FDA states that adipose-derived regenerative products are subject to federal regulatory requirements and that such products have not been approved for the treatment of orthopedic conditions.

Joseph Spine Institute is committed to providing patients with transparent information about the therapies it offers, including their potential benefits, limitations, risks and current scientific evidence.

Innovation With the Patient at the Center

The launch of the Regenerative Therapy Center represents another expansion of Joseph Spine Institute's commitment to advanced, patient-centered spine care.

The Institute's services include endoscopic and minimally invasive spine surgery, interventional pain management, sports medicine, regenerative therapies and advanced surgical technologies, including navigation and robotic-assisted procedures.

"Technology and medicine continue to evolve, and we believe our responsibility is to evaluate promising innovations carefully and determine where they may have a role in patient care," said Dr. Joseph. "The Regenerative Therapy Center allows us to bring these therapies together with our existing expertise in spine and musculoskeletal medicine."

Patients interested in learning more about adipose-derived cell therapy or PRP can contact Joseph Spine Institute to schedule a comprehensive evaluation and determine whether regenerative therapy may be appropriate for their individual condition.

Panelová diskusia The Economist pred veľtrhom IFA 2026 - lídri odvetvia načrtávajú budúcnosť energetickej nezávislosti európskych podnikov

Prenesením svojej overenej spotrebiteľskej architektúry – modulárneho hardvéru, automatizovanej dynamickej optimalizácie taríf a softvéru s AI – poskytuje EcoFlow komerčným prevádzkovateľom okamžitú a nákladovo efektívnu energetickú nezávislosť.

„Malé a stredné podniky čelia presne takej istej nestálosti cien energie a vysokým nákladom, s akými sa potýkajú domácnosti," povedal Nick Chen, hlavný riaditeľ pre stratégie spoločnosti EcoFlow. „Zásobovaním miliónov domácností po celom svete energiou sme zistili, že masové prijatie čistej energie si vyžaduje tri veci: extrémnu jednoduchosť, modulárnu škálovateľnosť a inteligentnú automatizácia softvéru. Keďže prinášame svoje overené základy spotrebiteľských technológií a softvérovej inteligencie na komerčný trh, poskytujeme firmám nástroje, ktoré potrebujú na jednoduché riadenie komplexných energetických potrieb, znižovanie prevádzkových nákladov a zabezpečenie energetickej odolnosti."

Kľúčové poznatky z panelovej diskusie

- Otrasy na trhu s energiou a stratégia: Ako kolísavé ceny energií, problematické miesta v sieti a obdobia negatívnych veľkoobchodných cien menia investičné rozhodnutia spoločností a rast podnikania v celej Európe.

- Budovanie nákladovo efektívnej odolnosti: Praktické prístupy pre podniky k ochrane prevádzky pred výpadkami dodávok elektriny a cenovými výkyvmi bez nadmerných kapitálových výdavkov.

- Výhľad do roku 2030: Ako súčasné regulačné úpravy a technologické nasadenie ovplyvnia fungovanie trhu s elektrinou a európsku konkurencieschopnosť v nasledujúcom desaťročí.

Sprecherinnen und Sprecher: Ole Lagerpusch, Alice Dwyer, Peter Nottmeier, Fabian Busch, Denis Moschitto, Benito Bause, Sebastian Urzendowsky, Anna-Maria Arkona, Anna Böttcher, Magdalena Monatasser, Roman Knizka u. v. a.

Musik: Verena Guido und das WDR Funkhausorchester

Bearbeitung: Thomas Böhm und Benjamin Quabeck

Regie: Benjamin Quabeck

Produktion: ARD 2026

Die neue Staffel der Hörspielserie "Haus Vaterland" ist ab 3. September 2026 in ARD Sounds verfügbar.

InCoax announces initial activation of Sjoberg's multi-building deployment using Nokia Gigabit Connect with MoCA Access

LUND, Sweden, Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- InCoax Networks announces the initial activation of a planned multi-building deployment for Sjoberg's Inc., a family-owned cable operator established in 1962 and based in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. The rollout is planned to cover approximately 30 to 40 buildings across the Sjoberg's network. The deployment uses InCoax technology as part of Nokia Gigabit Connect with MoCA Access™ to deliver fiber-based multi-gigabit broadband over existing coaxial infrastructure in apartment buildings.

"We greatly appreciate Sjoberg's commitment and support in bringing these deployments into operation. For InCoax, these are the first live installations resulting from our collaboration with Nokia and therefore represent an important milestone. Following a significant development and integration effort, together with an extensive validation process in the operator environment, Nokia Gigabit Connect with InCoax technology is now being deployed in a live U.S. operator network. This marks the transition from product integration and validation to live deployment and provides an important reference as we work with Nokia to expand the solution to further operator opportunities," says Jakob Tobieson, CEO of InCoax Networks.

Integrated deployment and operations

For operators, Nokia Gigabit Connect with MoCA Access provides a cost-effective way to extend fiber-based gigabit and multi-gigabit broadband services inside buildings by reusing existing in-building coaxial infrastructure. The solution is designed for MDUs where installing fiber throughout the building may be time-consuming, costly and complex.

As part of Nokia's broadband access portfolio, Gigabit Connect with MoCA Access supports integrated provisioning and lifecycle management through Nokia Altiplano Access Controller, providing common end-to-end management across the fiber/PON and coax/MoCA Access infrastructure. This allows operators to manage the MoCA Access portion of the network together with their fiber access network.

Sjoberg has also integrated the Nokia DPU and InCoax MoCA technology into the TruVizion broadband diagnostics platform. The integration provides operators with access to MoCA status and performance information alongside other broadband network diagnostics.

Supporting Fiber Access Extension and FWA Extension

The Sjoberg's deployment is a Fiber Access Extension use case in which existing in-building coax is used to extend fiber-based broadband services from the building access point to individual subscribers.

The InCoax MoCA Access platform also supports FWA Extension deployments, allowing operators to reuse existing coaxial infrastructure to distribute broadband connectivity inside MDUs where the building is served through fixed wireless access. Both applications are designed to reduce the need for new in-building cabling while supporting managed multi-gigabit broadband delivery.

Sustainability perspective

Reusing existing in-building coax can also support sustainability objectives by reducing the need for additional cabling, construction work and new materials. InCoax has published a whitepaper examining sustainability and cost benefits from reusing coaxial infrastructure for multi-gigabit broadband in apartment building environments. https://www.incoax.com/resources/
