Where Manufacturing Technology Is Heading

Advances in bioprocessing, continuous manufacturing, and process analytical technologies (PAT) are giving today's CDMOs far more precise control over drug development and manufacturing than a decade ago. The adoption of single-use technologies, automation, digital twins, and AI-based process optimization is improving manufacturing flexibility, lowering contamination risk, and speeding up delivery timelines for both small-molecule and biopharmaceutical products.

At the same time, rising demand for complex drug classes — including biologics, cell and gene therapies, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), and mRNA-based medicines — is pushing CDMOs to build out increasingly specialized manufacturing platforms and analytics capabilities. As outsourcing becomes a bigger part of how pharmaceutical companies bring drugs to market, technology-driven CDMOs are becoming central players in the broader pharmaceutical supply chain rather than peripheral service providers.

What's Fueling Growth in the Pharmaceutical CDMO Market

- Rising Outsourcing Activity: Pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms are increasingly outsourcing manufacturing to save on capital costs, optimize production, and keep internal focus on drug discovery and commercialization.

- Growing Demand for Complex Therapeutics: Rising need for biologics, biosimilars, cell and gene therapies, ADCs, and mRNA therapeutics is driving demand for CDMOs with specialized development and manufacturing expertise.

- Increasing Regulatory Complexity: Growing intricacy of regulatory compliance and quality standards is pushing drug makers toward CDMOs with strong compliance expertise and global regulatory support capabilities.

- Expanding Drug Pipelines: A growing pipeline of drugs and rising number of clinical trials are increasing demand for end-to-end solutions spanning development, scale-up, manufacturing, packaging, and distribution.

- Investment in Advanced Manufacturing: Growing adoption of single-use bioprocessing, automation, and continuous manufacturing technologies is helping CDMOs improve efficiency and reduce speed-to-market for pharmaceutical clients.

Precision Metal Stamping Expert Al Rogers Explains Four-Slide Stamping in HelloNation
Image File
Original HTML

The article explains when four-slide stamping delivers greater efficiency, precision, and cost savings for complex metal parts.

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- What is four-slide stamping, and when is it the best manufacturing choice?

HelloNation answers that question in a HelloNation article featuring insights from Precision Metal Stamping Expert Al Rogers of CAR Stamping & Machining in Rochester, New York. The article explains how four-slide stamping helps manufacturers produce intricate metal components more efficiently while maintaining consistent quality across large production runs.

The HelloNation article describes four-slide stamping as a specialized manufacturing process designed for producing small, detailed metal components that require multiple bends, forms, or other complex features. Unlike traditional stamping methods that often rely on multiple dies and additional finishing, the process uses four independently moving slides to shape metal from multiple directions in a single production cycle. This approach allows manufacturers to reduce production time while improving repeatability.

According to the article, four-slide stamping is especially valuable for producing complex metal parts that can be fully formed in a single operation. Electrical contacts, retaining clips, brackets, springs, fasteners, and medical device components are among the products commonly manufactured using this process. By completing multiple forming operations in a single cycle, manufacturers can reduce handling while maintaining tight dimensional tolerances for precision components.

The article explains that engineers evaluate several factors before selecting four-slide stamping for a project. Part geometry is one of the most important considerations because components with numerous bends, tabs, hooks, or other intricate features often benefit from this manufacturing process. Production volume also plays a significant role, as tooling investments become increasingly economical at high volumes, where faster cycle times and lower labor requirements can yield meaningful long-term savings.

Material selection is another important part of the decision-making process. The HelloNation article notes that four-slide stamping performs well with stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, copper, and several specialty alloys commonly used in precision metal stamping. Engineers evaluate material thickness, strength, and forming characteristics to ensure finished parts achieve the required shape while maintaining structural integrity and reliable performance.

The article also highlights the value of reducing secondary operations whenever possible. Eliminating additional machining, welding, or forming steps can streamline manufacturing while reducing opportunities for variation between finished parts. For companies producing thousands or millions of identical precision components, improved efficiency can shorten production schedules and lower overall operating costs without sacrificing consistency.

While the article outlines many advantages, it also explains that four-slide stamping is not the right solution for every application. Larger parts, deep-drawn components, or products requiring features beyond the capabilities of four-slide tooling may be better suited for progressive die stamping, transfer stamping, machining, or other fabrication methods. The article emphasizes that engineers compare manufacturing options based on part complexity, material requirements, tolerances, production volume, and overall cost before selecting the most appropriate process.

The article concludes that when a design matches the strengths of four-slide stamping, manufacturers can achieve an effective balance of precision, efficiency, and repeatability. By producing complex metal parts in a single operation while minimizing secondary operations, the process remains an important manufacturing solution for industries that depend on consistent, high-quality production. Precision Metal Stamping Expert Al Rogers provides industry knowledge that helps readers better understand how engineers determine when this specialized manufacturing process offers the greatest value.

"When Four-Slide Stamping Is the Best Manufacturing Choice" features insights from Al Rogers, a Precision Metal Stamping Expert in Rochester, New York, on HelloNation.

Orange Insurance Exchange Goes Live on Solstice's Equinox™, Launching Three Homeowners Products Simultaneously on AI-Native Architecture
Image File
Original HTML

HO-3, HO-6, and DP-3 open for new business September 1, 2026, all three products live on day one on a single platform built for AI from the ground up, not retrofitted with it; commercial lines to follow in early 2027

TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Orange Insurance Exchange ("Orange") today announced it has gone live on Equinox™, the AI-native policy administration platform from Solstice Innovations, launching HO-3, HO-6, and DP-3 homeowners, condo, and dwelling fire products simultaneously for new business across its Florida portfolio. Orange's commercial lines products will launch on the same platform in early 2027.

Standing up three products at once, rather than staggering them over successive release cycles, reflects the core advantage of Equinox™: rating, issuance, endorsements, renewals, claims, billing, and forms all run on a single, holistic system, with AI embedded directly into the underwriting, servicing, and claims workflows rather than layered on top of them. The result is a platform Orange can reconfigure, rates, rules, forms, without waiting on a development calendar.

"We looked hard at what it would take to bring three products to market without compromising underwriting discipline," said Don Matz, Chief Executive Officer of Orange Insurance Exchange. "Solstice gave us a platform that's genuinely configurable, which means our underwriting team can respond to what we're seeing in the book instead of waiting on a release calendar. Our agents get a faster, cleaner submission process, and our members get decisions in a fraction of the time. Personal lines is the starting point; we're building our commercial product on the same foundation in early 2027."

The Equinox™ AI-native architecture is engineered into how the platform operates at every stage of the policy lifecycle, not bolted on as a standalone feature. At quote, it validates and enriches property data, cutting agent data entry and improving submission accuracy. In underwriting, it prioritizes referrals based on risk signals and classifies inspections, loss runs, and correspondence, freeing underwriters to focus on judgment rather than administrative review. Every capability operates within Orange's underwriting guidelines, with human oversight maintained for binding decisions. Additionally, Solstice has embedded AI throughout its entire SDLC, onboarding, and client support desk, improving the cadence, quality, and function of software delivery.

"There's a real difference between AI bolted onto a legacy system and AI that's woven into the DNA of the architecture from day one, that's the line we hold ourselves to," said Travis Pine, Chief Executive Officer of Solstice Innovations. "Orange came to us with a clear picture of how they wanted to underwrite and where the friction actually was. Standing up three products simultaneously on one configurable platform, with AI supporting the underwriter instead of replacing them, is exactly the kind of deployment Equinox™ was built for."

The launch extends the Equinox™ footprint across Florida homeowners and adds to a growing roster of carriers and MGAs, spanning NFIP flood, private flood, and homeowners lines, that have moved onto the platform in 2026. Solstice remains the only platform in the market unifying NFIP flood, private flood, and homeowners on a single AI-native system.

About Solstice Innovations

Solstice Innovations, Inc. (https://solstice.tech) delivers the leading AI-native policy administration platform for carriers and MGAs. Its flagship platform, Equinox™, brings intelligent automation, data-driven workflows, and multi-peril flexibility to NFIP flood, private flood, homeowners, commercial, and other P&C lines, built so AI is part of the system's architecture from the ground up, not added after the fact. ADGM Reinforces Abu Dhabi's Standing as a Global Financial Hub with 54% Growth in AUM and Almost 14,000 Active Licences

ABU DHABI, UAE, Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- ADGM, the international financial centre of Abu Dhabi, delivered strong growth in the first half of 2026, with Assets Under Management rising 54% year on year and its workforce reaching 49,027 professionals. Meanwhile, the number of active licences also climbed to almost 14,000.

The results reflect the continued expansion of capital, business activity and talent across ADGM, as global institutions increasingly structure, deploy and manage investment through Abu Dhabi. These results reinforce Abu Dhabi's growing position as the leading global financial hub of the MEASA region and the "Capital of Capital."

Commenting on another record performance by ADGM, His Excellency Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of ADGM, said, "ADGM is championing Abu Dhabi's long-term economic vision and cementing its growing influence as the centre of global capital flows. The scale of growth we are witnessing across capital, institutions, businesses and talent demonstrates sustained international confidence in Abu Dhabi as a stable, trusted and globally connected financial hub. Whether it is capital, opportunity or ambition, Abu Dhabi is increasingly becoming the place where all these factors converge seamlessly and meaningfully. Through ADGM, we are building on this momentum, reinforcing Abu Dhabi's position as the Capital of Capital and advancing our ambition to become among the world's top five leading international financial centres."

ADGM's asset management ecosystem has sustained its strong momentum in 2026. AUM within ADGM increased 54% in H1 2026 compared to H1 2025, extending an unbroken run of growth since the start of 2022.

The number of fund and asset managers based in ADGM reached 190, up 23% from 154 in H1 2025, with 11 managers added in the second quarter alone, ADGM's strongest quarterly increase. The number of funds managed from ADGM rose to 276, representing a 32% increase from 209 funds in H1 2025.

Collectively, the asset managers that established operations in ADGM during H1 2026 oversee more than USD 2.1 trillion in global assets under management, underscoring Abu Dhabi's growing appeal as a destination for international investment firms.

ADGM continued to experience strong business activity during H1, with the total number of active licences reaching 13,974, making it the largest IFC in the MEASA region by this key indicator. Of these, 1,814 licences were issued during the period.

Operational entities reached 3,986, representing a 34% rise from 2,972 at the end of H1 2025, highlighting the continued evolution of ADGM from a destination for business establishment into an increasingly deep and active financial ecosystem.

ADGM's financial services ecosystem continued to deepen in H1 2026. The number of financial services entities operating within the jurisdiction surged to 392 in H1 2026, up 27% from 308 at the end of H1 2025.

Meanwhile, the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) issued a total of 50 In-Principle Approvals for financial services firms, while 45 new Financial Services Permissions were granted.

Major financial firms establishing, launching or expanding their presence during the first half of the year included Capital Group, Man Group, Barings, Bain Capital, Hillhouse Investment, Muzinich & Co., Madison Realty Capital, Grow Investment Group, Rokos Capital Management, Polygreen Holdings, Hashed, Cantor, Bitexen MENA, Bitexen Custody, Copper ME, Blue Owl and Dhabi, among others.

The continued growth of ADGM's ecosystem is being matched by significant growth in its talent base.

At the end of H1 2026, the combined workforce across Al Maryah Island and Al Reem Island reached 49,027 professionals, an increase of 4,688 in the first half of 2026 alone. This represents an increase of 34%, compared to the same period last year.

ADGM Academy continued to advance Abu Dhabi's national talent and knowledge agenda during H1 2026, training 1,607 Emirati nationals and expanding pathways to employment through its partnership with the Mawaheb Talent Hub, backed by the Department of Government Enablement. Its national development efforts included graduating a third cohort of 28 young Emiratis, selecting 15 UAE Nationals for the World Bank Group Explorers Program.

The Academy also launched the Wealth Management Institute WMI School of AI, training over 544 UAE Nationals in agentic AI, alongside three new flagship programmes focused on family offices and wealth management.

ADGM has become the jurisdiction of choice for institutions deploying capital into artificial intelligence, with more than USD 100 billion in AI-focused investment now held by entities established in the financial centre.

That concentration is anchored by MGX, the global investment platform focused on large-scale deployment of capital into artificial intelligence infrastructure and advanced technologies, which is licensed by ADGM's FSRA.

During the first half of 2026, the financial centre completed the first phase of its artificial intelligence implementation, deploying 25 business functions with AI across licensing, supervision and customer service. The rollout has reduced manual workload by more than 5,000 staff hours annually, accelerated approval timelines and enabled approximately 25% of customer enquiries to be resolved instantly through digital channels.

Alongside these deployments, ADGM is strengthening the data, governance, cybersecurity and workforce foundations required to scale AI responsibly.

Under a technology roadmap extending to 2029, ADGM will invest more than AED 400 million to expand these capabilities, positioning the centre to regulate and serve an increasingly AI-driven financial industry.

ADGM has continued to deepen its international engagement this year. During the first half, ADGM expanded its outreach across key Asian markets including China, India and Singapore, while a strategic partnership with Shenzhen's Futian District. A strategic engagement with Italy, led by ADGM's Chairman, supported increased collaboration across investment, financial services and institutional partnerships.

ADGM also maintained a prominent presence in the US through its participation in the Milken Institute Global Conference 2026, where engagements with leading global financial institutions, including Bain Capital, Vista Equity Partners and Man Group, explored opportunities for deeper collaboration and expansion within Abu Dhabi's financial ecosystem.

ADGM also advanced a series of regulatory enhancements during H1 2026. The Registration Authority of ADGM introduced an integrated suite of real estate services, alongside the launch of a new Broker Classification Framework. The RA also published a discussion paper seeking stakeholder feedback on proposed guidance for crypto mining activities as well as amendments to ADGM's commercial legislation to enhance regulatory clarity, strengthen beneficial ownership requirements.

The Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of ADGM advanced enhancements to its regulatory framework for insurance, aligning with International Association of Insurance Supervisors standards, and introducing requirements for the management of climate-related financial risks by relevant firms. It also finalised its regulatory framework for the staking of virtual assets, and finalised enhancements to ADGM's anti-money laundering framework to reflect developments in federal legislation and the recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).

The first half also witnessed updates to the published Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions Rulebook in May 2026.

International regulatory cooperation also remained a priority, with the FSRA signing an MoU with Greece's Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC), Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA), Shenzhen's Futian District, and the Central Bank of Brazil.

ADGM Courts' record-breaking caseload in 2026 reflects growing confidence in its independent, internationally recognised judicial framework. By July 1, ADGM Courts had already exceeded its total caseload for the whole of 2025 and is tracking to more than double last year's caseload.

Moreover, the International Arbitration Centre Alliance launched its Global Passport, enabling recognised members of participating international dispute resolution centres to access shared facilities and services across jurisdictions.

As it builds on the momentum achieved during the first half of 2026, ADGM remains focused on strengthening Abu Dhabi's position as the 'Capital of Capital' and enabling sustainable economic diversification.

Certificate Authority Market to Reach USD 397.14 Mn by 2031 with Cloud Deployment Capturing 57.83% of Revenue, Says Mordor Intelligence
Image File
Original HTML

HYDERABAD, India, Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Mordor Intelligence has published a new report on the certificate authority market, providing a comprehensive assessment of market dynamics, technology trends, competitive landscape, and future opportunities. According to the study, the certificate authority market size is estimated to grow from USD 232.31 million in 2026 to USD 397.14 million by 2031, registering a CAGR of 11.32% during the forecast period (2026–2031). The market is being shaped by shorter certificate lifecycles, growing machine-identity requirements, cloud-based public key infrastructure (PKI), DevSecOps-led automation, stringent cybersecurity regulations, and the increasing need to secure digital transactions and connected systems.

The continued expansion of cloud-native infrastructure and zero-trust architecture is increasing demand for secure digital identities, while shorter certificate lifecycles are pushing organizations toward automated issuance, renewal, and monitoring. At the same time, growing adoption of cloud-based PKI and DevSecOps workflows is enabling faster certificate provisioning and creating opportunities for providers supporting multi-cloud environments, machine identities, and high-volume certificate management.

Certificate Authority Market Trends Driving Automated Digital Trust

Shorter Certificate Lifecycles Accelerate Certificate Automation

Shorter certificate validity periods are increasing the frequency of certificate issuance, renewal, replacement, and revocation, making manual management increasingly difficult. Enterprises are therefore adopting automated certificate lifecycle platforms integrated with DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines to monitor inventories, trigger renewals, and distribute certificates across growing cloud, application, API, and microservice environments.

Cloud-Based PKI Expands Across Enterprise Infrastructure

Cloud-based PKI is gaining adoption as organizations increasingly manage certificate issuance through APIs, infrastructure-as-code, and automated deployment workflows. The approach simplifies certificate lifecycle management across hybrid and multi-cloud environments while reducing reliance on physical infrastructure, although concerns around vendor lock-in, certificate portability, and centralized control may influence enterprise procurement decisions.

DevSecOps and Machine Identity Drive Certificate Automation

The expansion of DevSecOps, containers, APIs, microservices, and zero-trust architecture is increasing demand for automated certificate issuance and machine-identity management. Organizations require platforms that can dynamically issue and rotate short-lived certificates, discover and monitor certificate inventories, enforce policies, and manage authentication across large volumes of applications, workloads, devices, and machine-to-machine connections.

Ashish Gautam, Senior Research Manager, Mordor Intelligence, says, "Organizations evaluating opportunities in the Certificate Authority Market need research that clearly captures the shift toward automated certificate management, cloud-based PKI, and growing machine-identity requirements. Mordor Intelligence combines extensive primary research with rigorous secondary analysis to provide balanced, evidence-based insights that support informed business decisions across the evolving digital trust landscape."

Geographic Analysis of the Certificate Authority Market

North America retained a leading position in the Certificate Authority Market, supported by mature cybersecurity infrastructure, widespread cloud adoption, zero-trust initiatives, and stringent regulatory requirements. Enterprises and government organizations are increasingly using digital certificates across devices, workloads, APIs, applications, and secure communications. Growing cybersecurity investments and payment-security requirements are further supporting demand for automated certificate management.

Asia-Pacific is expected to be the fastest-growing regional market, driven by expanding cloud adoption, digital payments, mobile commerce, connected devices, and government digitalization initiatives. Countries such as China, India, Japan, and South Korea are witnessing increasing demand for secure digital transactions, digital identity infrastructure, cloud applications, and connected systems.

Europe remains strategically important due to its extensive regulatory framework covering digital trust, cybersecurity, and qualified trust services. The implementation of eIDAS 2.0 is supporting the development of cross-border digital identity and trust services, while organizations across regulated industries continue to strengthen certificate governance, authentication, and digital trust infrastructure.
