Sawgrass LNG & Power Begins Supplying LNG to Walker's Cay, Expanding Bahamas Presence

MIAMI, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Sawgrass LNG & Power announced today that it has begun supplying liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Walker's Cay, the legendary sportfishing destination in the northern Bahamas, replacing diesel as the fuel source for the island's power generation.

The project expands Sawgrass' growing presence across The Bahamas, where the company has supplied LNG to resorts, utilities, and industrial customers for more than eight years. As a leading LNG supplier in the Caribbean, Sawgrass produces LNG at its Miami liquefaction facility and delivers fuel via ISO containers, providing customers with a lower-cost, lower-emission alternative to diesel. As the largest exporter of U.S. LNG via ISO container, Sawgrass has pioneered a LNG delivery model that brings reliable energy to islands and remote facilities without the need for costly infrastructure.

Walker's Cay is currently undergoing an extensive redevelopment led by philanthropist and sportsman Carl Allen. Located near to the protected waters of Walker's Cay National Park, the island has long been recognized for its world-class fishing, diving, and pristine marine environment. As part of its modernization, Walker's Cay has transitioned its on-island power generation from diesel to LNG, reducing fuel costs, lowering emissions, and improving the long-term sustainability of the island.

"Walker's Cay is one of The Bahamas' most iconic destinations, and we're proud to help power its next chapter," said Daniel McLaughlin, President & Chief Commercial Officer of Sawgrass LNG & Power. "This project reflects what we've been building across The Bahamas for nearly a decade, helping resorts and island communities transition away from diesel with an energy solution that lowers operating costs, reduces emissions, and provides greater fuel price stability."

"We couldn't be more excited to partner with Sawgrass LNG & Power on this important project for Walker's Cay. From the beginning, their team understood our vision for the island and shared our commitment to building reliable, efficient and forward-looking infrastructure. Bringing LNG power to Walker's Cay is a significant step forward for us, and we're proud to have Sawgrass alongside us as we continue building the future of this special place," said Carl Allen, Owner of Walker's Cay.

Walker's Cay joins a growing portfolio of Bahamian customers supplied by Sawgrass LNG & Power. Across these projects, customers have achieved fuel savings of 20% to 50% while significantly reducing emissions compared to diesel. By combining reliable LNG supply, proven logistics, and flexible infrastructure, Sawgrass continues to help businesses and island communities across the Caribbean reduce fuel costs, improve price predictability, and lower long-term operating expenses.

About Sawgrass LNG & Power

Sawgrass LNG & Power is a leading provider of LNG supply and gas-to-power solutions, serving customers across the Southeastern U.S. and the Caribbean. Headquartered in Miami, Florida, the company operates a state-of-the-art LNG facility and delivers turnkey supply, logistics, and power solutions for utilities, industrial and commercial users, and transportation markets, including marine bunkering and aerospace.

About Walker's Cay

Walker's Cay is an iconic sportfishing destination in the northern Bahamas, currently being redeveloped by entrepreneur, philanthropist, and sportsman Carl Allen. Known for its legendary fishing, pristine waters, and proximity to Walker's Cay National Park, the island is being transformed into a premier destination that combines luxury accommodations, outdoor adventure, and a commitment to environmental stewardship.

Eight-site, 6 MW solar project advances the City toward 100% renewable energy for municipal operations

CHANDLER, Ariz., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Sustainability Partners (SP), a Public Benefit Company, is partnering with the City of Albuquerque and Energy Systems Group (ESG) to deploy approximately 6 MW of solar energy generation across eight City facilities, helping close the remaining gap toward Albuquerque's goal of 100% renewable energy for municipal operations. A groundbreaking ceremony was held last week to mark the start of construction at the first two locations: the City's Eastside Animal Shelter and Highland Pool.

Through Infrastructure as a Service®, SP provides the capital and facilitates the installation and long-term care of the infrastructure. Once the solar installations are complete and available for use, the City will make monthly usage payments, while SP remains involved for the long term to support ongoing maintenance and performance of the assets.

"Our mission is to remove the biggest barriers public entities face when building the infrastructure their communities need: upfront capital, choosing the right equipment and long-term maintenance," said Adam Cain, CEO of Sustainability Partners. "With our Infrastructure as a Service® model, Albuquerque doesn't have to choose between its priority capital projects and climate goals, and Sustainability Partners is always there to keep the infrastructure reliable and improving for the long term."

ESG designed a combination of rooftop and solar carport installations, expanding renewable energy generation while also creating shaded parking at several heavily used City facilities. In addition to the Eastside Animal Shelter and Highland Pool, installations are planned at West Mesa Aquatic Center, Duke City BMX Park, Isotopes Park, Ken Sanchez Transit Facility, the City's 911 Call Center and the Albuquerque International Sunport.

In addition, the Sunport installation will include 10 electric vehicle chargers and battery energy storage to support critical electrical needs.

"Albuquerque is showing what it means to lead and move with purpose toward 100% renewable energy," said Jeff Blum, CEO of Energy Systems Group. "We're proud to stand with the City as it builds a cleaner, brighter future for its residents."

The project marks SP's first major project with the City of Albuquerque, while ESG has previously partnered with the City to modernize critical energy infrastructure and advance its energy goals. Construction for the additional sites will phase in through 2027.

"This is a different approach to how we think about clean energy," said Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller. "We're using every tool available to get more clean energy on the ground without putting the entire cost of building and maintaining these systems on taxpayers."

In the news release, Partillion Bioscience Secures $2.1 Million NIH SBIR Grant to Advance Large-Scale Cell-Cell Interaction Sequencing, issued 09-Sep-2026 by Partillion Bioscience over PR Newswire, we are advised by the company that changes have been made. The complete, corrected release follows, with additional details at the end:

Partillion Bioscience Secures $2.1 Million NIH SBIR Grant to Advance Large-Scale Cell-Cell Interaction Sequencing

Tenth SBIR award brings Partillion's total non-dilutive federal funding to more than $8 million and supports development of Cell-Cell-seq workflows

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Partillion Bioscience announced a two-year, $2.1 million NIH Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) award from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) to expand the company's Cell-Cell-seq workflows. Partillion's 10th SBIR grant brings the company's total non-dilutive federal funding to more than $8 million, roughly matching private investment to date, with no additional equity exchanged.

Closing a Critical Gap in Single-Cell Analysis

Most single-cell sequencing workflows profile cells in isolation, limiting researchers' ability to study how cellular interactions shape disease and therapeutic response. Competitively awarded through NIH's Direct-to-Phase II mechanism, the grant will advance Cell-Cell-seq, a workflow built on Partillion's proprietary Nanovial technology (protected by 17 issued patents) that preserves defined cell pairs, captures functional outputs such as secretion, activation, and killing, and links them to sequencing data. The award will let Partillion scale Cell-Cell-seq toward datasets of up to one million cell pairs, work that includes broadening compatibility with additional sequencing platforms and developing new analysis tools.

"This award is meaningful because it reflects the scientific merit of Cell-Cell-seq and gives us the resources to move the platform forward," said Joseph de Rutte, PhD, Co-Founder and CEO of Partillion Bioscience. "It allows us to pursue ambitious scientific work while keeping our private capital focused on customer adoption and commercial expansion."

Existing Momentum, Emerging Opportunities

Partillion launched a distribution partnership with Sony Corporation in 2024. Its Nanovial platform also played a key role in a research collaboration with UCLA, USC, and Caltech, supported by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. The award adds to that momentum, putting Cell-Cell-seq into more hands across research and industry.

"Expanding the Nanovial platform's compatibility with leading single-cell sequencing platforms, developing turnkey analysis software, and generating large-scale, interaction-resolved datasets create new opportunities for Partillion's commercial growth," said Eric Moessinger, Partner (Advisory) & Head of Life Sciences at NanoDimension, Inc.

About Partillion Bioscience

Partillion Bioscience is pioneering a functional cell analysis platform built on its award-winning Nanovial technology. The company enables pharmaceutical and biotech partners to accelerate therapeutic development by screening millions of live cells in parallel and capturing critical functional outputs such as secretion, signaling, and viability.

Partillion's technology has been featured in Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, Nature Protocols, PNAS, Science Advances, and ACS Nano, and recognized with the 2020 SLAS Innovation Award, 2022 SLAS New Product Award, and 2025 CYTO Innovation & Technology Showcase Award.

Corgi Insurance Named to Fast Company's Best Workplaces for Innovators in North America 2026

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Fast Company today announced its Best Workplaces for Innovators in North America 2026 list, recognizing companies creating cultures where innovation can thrive at every level. Corgi Insurance was named to the 2026 list for building an AI-native insurance company where technology, creativity, and a bias toward action are embedded into how the company operates.

Fast Company's editors evaluated each application and conducted extensive research to develop a score for each company. A distinguished panel of judges then reviewed the top-rated companies to determine the final honorees.

Corgi is rethinking what an insurance company can look like, from the products it builds to the way its employees work. The company operates as an AI-native, full-stack insurance carrier, using technology and automation throughout the insurance lifecycle while expanding into new lines of business and building products designed around the needs of modern companies.

But at Corgi, innovation isn't limited to technology. The company has taken an unconventional approach to building its workplace and brand, turning everyday experiences into opportunities to experiment. Corgi operates its own branded buses and a growing network of Corgi Cafes that serve as workplaces, community hubs, and gathering spaces for builders. The company has also created its own branded drinks and Corgi Times, a company newspaper that brings the brand and its culture into the physical world.

These experiences are intentionally designed to make Corgi feel less like a traditional insurance company and more like a place where people want to build. From the spaces employees work in to the products they develop, Corgi encourages its teams to question conventional approaches and create something new. The result is a workplace where innovation shows up not only in what the company builds, but in how employees experience the company every day.

Corgi's investment in innovation also extends to its internal technology infrastructure. The company has developed custom AI tooling, agent clusters, and hundreds of custom tools and skills that help employees automate workflows and move faster across areas including underwriting, claims, trucking, and other emerging business lines.

"The most innovative workplaces don't simply ask their employees to come up with great ideas; they create the conditions that make great ideas possible," says Brendan Vaughan, editor-in-chief of Fast Company. "This year's honorees understand that innovation is ultimately a cultural commitment that requires empowering people to think differently, take risks, and turn ideas into actions. We're proud to recognize the companies and executives who are leading by example."

The full list of honorees is available at Fast Company's Best Workplaces for Innovators in North America 2026.

The Fast Company Best Workplaces for Innovators issue (Fall 2026) is available online now and will hit newsstands on September 22.

Drivvr AI Welcomes Automotive Marketing Veteran Brian Voss as National Sales Director
Image File
Original HTML

CHICAGO, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Drivvr AI LLC, an Anshar Labs company, today announced that Brian Voss has joined the company as National Sales Director. Voss will lead the company's dealer-facing sales efforts as Drivvr AI expands its footprint with automotive retailers nationwide.

The appointment follows Anshar Labs' acquisition of Dealer World earlier this year, which brought 18 years of dealer relationships and automotive marketing expertise under Drivvr AI. Dealer World continues as the marketing product inside Drivvr AI, while the company builds AI-driven software for dealerships across marketing, customer engagement and dealership operations.

Voss brings more than two decades of marketing experience, with a deep background in automotive digital marketing, technology and sales leadership. He has spent his career working directly with dealers across the country, helping them make sense of each shift in digital marketing and put strategies and tools in place that produce measurable results.

"Brian has worked in the dealership, so he knows how to find solutions to dealers' challenges. He knows that selling and servicing cars is the core metric that matters, and he knows the difference between a vendor pitch and something that actually moves cars," said Dan Moore, CEO of Drivvr AI. "Drivvr AI fixes real problems for dealers, and Brian is the right person to carry that message to every dealer in the country."

Voss joins Drivvr AI at a moment when dealers are moving past the question of whether to use artificial intelligence and asking how to use it well: to improve customer engagement, cut wasted steps and let dealership teams do more with the people they already have. Voss believes successful adoption comes down to proving value, not piling on more technology.

"Dealers don't need technology for technology's sake," Voss said. "They need solutions that make their teams more effective, create better customer experiences and ultimately help them sell more vehicles. That's where I believe AI has an enormous opportunity in automotive retail."

He sees artificial intelligence as the next major evolution in an industry that has already been through several rounds of dramatic change.

"We've watched automotive marketing evolve from traditional media to digital, mobile, social and increasingly data-driven strategies," Voss said. "AI represents another major shift, but we're still at the beginning of what it can do for dealerships. The dealers who learn how to use it effectively aren't just going to become more efficient. They're going to create better experiences for their customers."

Moore added, "Every technology wave in this business has come with a lot of noise and a handful of people who actually understood what dealers needed. Brian has been one of those people through every one of those waves. Adding him to this team tells our dealers exactly what kind of company we intend to be."

As National Sales Director, Voss will work closely with Drivvr AI's executive leadership, product teams and dealer partners to expand the company's presence nationwide and keep its technology focused on what dealerships actually face every day.

About Drivvr AI

Drivvr AI LLC is an automotive technology company building AI-driven software for dealerships. The Dealer World brand is the marketing product inside Drivvr AI, which is a company in the Anshar Labs portfolio.

Customers Can Now Buy the 2027 Toyota Land Cruiser in Vacaville, California

Summary: Ammaar's Toyota Vacaville now offers the 2027 Toyota Land Cruiser in Vacaville, California, allowing local shoppers to choose a rugged SUV with hybrid power, advanced off-road capability, flexible cargo space and a 6,000-pound towing capacity.

VACAVILLE, Calif., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Ammaar's Toyota Vacaville is announcing the arrival of the 2027 Toyota Land Cruiser in Vacaville, California, giving local shoppers a rugged SUV built for city commutes, road trips and demanding trails. Its turbocharged hybrid powertrain produces 326 net combined horsepower and 465 lb.-ft. of torque, while 6,000 pounds of towing capacity adds serious hauling capability.

What Makes the 2027 Toyota Land Cruiser Capable Off Road?

Full-time 4WD continuously sends power to both the front and rear axles, helping to maintain traction on gravel, mud, snow and rocky surfaces. An electronically controlled two-speed transfer case allows torque settings to be adjusted for changing terrain.

Rear and center locking differentials can distribute available torque to add traction when one or more wheels encounter challenging terrain. Multi-Terrain Select adjusts traction management for different surfaces, while Crawl Control automatically manages throttle and braking at low speeds, allowing the driver to concentrate on steering.

Available Stabilizer Disconnect Mechanism increases wheel articulation over uneven trails and rocky obstacles. Multi-Terrain Monitor uses front, rear and side cameras to reveal nearby obstacles, including terrain close beneath the vehicle.

How Does the 2027 Toyota Land Cruiser Handle Daily Comfort?

Three Drive Modes—Sport, Eco and Normal—let drivers adjust throttle response and overall driving character. Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel add warmth during chilly Vacaville mornings, while available heated and ventilated seating brings additional comfort.

A 60/40 split rear bench can fold in sections, creating room for passengers alongside camping equipment, groceries, sports bags or outdoor gear. An available center-console cool box can keep beverages chilled, while the 2,400-watt power inverter can operate compatible devices such as laptops and coffee makers.

What Technology and Safety Features Are Included?

An 8-inch touchscreen comes standard, with an available 12.3-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia display. Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ support navigation, calls, messages and music. Available JBL® Premium Audio adds 14 speakers, including a subwoofer and amplifier.

Safety technology includes Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Lane Tracing Assist, Road Sign Assist, Automatic High Beams and Proactive Driving Assist.

The available Head-Up Display places selected driving information onto the windshield, helping keep key details within view.

Customers interested in the 2027 Toyota Land Cruiser can contact Ammaar's Toyota Vacaville at 500 Orange Dr., Vacaville, CA 95687, or call 707-446-7000 for additional information.

The RealReal Expands Los Angeles Presence with New Glendale Store

New Glendale location brings authenticated luxury resale, expert consignment services and a constantly evolving assortment of one-of-one designer finds to one of Los Angeles' premier shopping destinations

GLENDALE, Calif., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The RealReal (Nasdaq: REAL), the world's largest online marketplace for authenticated luxury resale, today announced the opening of its newest Los Angeles-area store at 230 S Brand Blvd, Glendale, CA on October 1, 2026. The new location expands The RealReal's Southern California presence and brings its full-service luxury consignment and shopping experience to a new community of buyers and consignors across Glendale and the greater Los Angeles area.

The new store combines The RealReal's industry-leading authentication expertise with personalized consignment services and a curated shopping experience. Customers can consign, shop and discover authenticated luxury across women's and men's fashion, handbags, fine jewelry, watches and accessories.

Glendale was a natural choice for The RealReal's newest Los Angeles-area location. Located just outside Downtown Los Angeles and Hollywood, the destination has established itself as one of Southern California's leading fashion and lifestyle centers, bringing together luxury houses and contemporary brands including Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Tiffany & Co., David Yurman, Golden Goose, Alo and Nordstrom.

"Los Angeles has always had such a distinct relationship with fashion, it's incredibly individual, and people here have never been afraid to mix eras, designers or points of view," said Samantha McCandless, Chief Merchandising Officer of The RealReal. "That makes Glendale particularly exciting for us. Glendale is already a destination where people come to discover fashion and luxury, and The RealReal adds something completely new to that experience: thousands of one-of-one pieces you can't find anywhere else. You might come in looking for a current-season bag and discover an incredible vintage Chanel piece or a designer from a decade you've suddenly fallen in love with. That combination of knowledge, individuality and discovery is increasingly what's driving luxury resale today."

Inside The RealReal, customers will find a continually refreshed assortment of one-of-one pieces from the world's most sought-after luxury houses, including Chanel, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Gucci, The Row, Cartier, Rolex and more. New arrivals are added regularly, making each visit a new opportunity for discovery.

The Glendale opening comes as consumers increasingly turn to resale not simply as an alternative to buying new luxury, but as a destination in its own right. The RealReal's 2026 Resale Report found that demand for vintage has increased 432% since 2020, while searches are becoming increasingly specific by designer, era and creative-director tenure. Searches for 2000s fashion, for example, increased 93% year over year, reflecting a consumer who is increasingly knowledgeable about fashion history and interested in finding pieces unavailable in traditional retail.

More than half of The RealReal's customer base is now Gen Z and Millennials, generations that increasingly move fluidly between new and resale and view pre-owned luxury as part of the same fashion ecosystem.

The Glendale store offers:

Personalized Consignment Services: One-on-one consultations with The RealReal's luxury experts, making it easy for local consignors to sell handbags, fine jewelry, watches, designer fashion and accessories.

Luxury Expertise & Valuations: Expert evaluations that help consignors understand the resale value and market demand for items already in their closets.

Curated Luxury Shopping: A constantly evolving assortment of authenticated, one-of-one luxury spanning iconic houses, emerging designers, vintage and hard-to-find pieces.

Private Luxury Appointments: Personalized appointments for customers interested in exceptional fine jewelry, watches, rare handbags and other high-value pieces.

The Glendale opening further expands The RealReal's brick-and-mortar presence at a time when the distinction between new and resale luxury is increasingly disappearing for consumers. Physical stores allow customers to experience the full circular luxury lifecycle in one place—from understanding the value of something already in their closet and consigning it, to discovering the next piece they want to own.

"What's so exciting about resale right now is that customers aren't necessarily waking up thinking, 'I'm going to shop pre-owned today.' They're simply shopping for something great," added McCandless. "In a market as fashion-driven as Los Angeles, resale gives them access to an assortment no traditional retailer can replicate. There's only one of each piece, and once it's gone, it's gone. That sense of discovery is incredibly powerful—and it makes shopping fun."

The new location also strengthens The RealReal's existing Southern California retail network, joining stores in Los Angeles on Melrose Avenue and in Brentwood, as well as Newport Beach.

The opening comes amid strong consumer demand for authenticated luxury resale. In the second quarter of 2026, The RealReal delivered record quarterly gross merchandise value of $617 million, an increase of 22% year over year, while trailing-twelve-month active buyers grew 11% and average order
