Strategic investment from ACACIA Exterior Building Group brings two established local businesses together under the Bel-Mac name, with expanded capabilities and a continued commitment to the communities they serve.

SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fla., Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Bel-Mac Roofing and Seashore Construction today announced that they are joining forces under the Bel-Mac name, bringing together decades of local experience in roofing, waterproofing, restoration and exterior construction across Northwest Florida and the greater Gulf Coast.

The combination is supported by a strategic investment from ACACIA Exterior Building Group, which partners with established roofing and exterior building businesses to invest in their people, strengthen their operations and support long-term growth. Existing local leadership will remain in place, and customers will continue to work with the teams they know.

Founded in 1995, Bel-Mac has built its reputation on roofing expertise and longstanding customer relationships. Seashore Construction, founded in 2005, brings complementary experience in waterproofing, concrete repair, exterior restoration and construction. Together, the companies will help customers address more of their buildings' needs through one coordinated team.

"Bel-Mac is a family business in more ways than one, and it has been a staple of this community since 1995. What our team does every day to support the places where we live, work and play is what keeps me excited. Coming together with Seashore is something I've looked forward to for a long time, and I know what it will mean for our partners in the community. I'm looking forward to continuing to support the place we all call home," said Travis Bell.

Expanded capabilities, one local team

The combined Bel-Mac will offer roofing solutions; waterproofing and coatings; concrete repair and restoration; exterior cladding and siding; structural and framing solutions; and building envelope rehabilitation and exterior construction.

For property owners and managers, condominium associations, developers, and general contractors, the combination brings related services together under one organization. Customers will have access to additional expertise and resources, whether planning routine maintenance, addressing repairs or undertaking a larger renovation or restoration project.

"Bringing Seashore Construction and Bel-Mac together represents an exciting new chapter for both companies. By combining our experience and expertise in commercial roofing and building envelope restoration with the resources and support of our new platform, we are building a stronger, more collaborative team that can deliver comprehensive solutions and exceptional service to our customers," said Alex R. Kish.

Local roots, additional resources

For Cagen Williams, Chief Executive Officer of ACACIA Exterior Building Group, the partnership also carries personal significance. Williams lived in Northwest Florida for more than 30 years before relocating to the Washington, D.C., area.

"Northwest Florida is home to me. I know these communities and understand what these companies have meant to the people they serve," said Williams. "Having the opportunity to invest in two strong local businesses and the people behind them is incredibly meaningful. Our goal is to give this team the resources to grow while protecting the relationships, reputation and local roots that made both companies successful."

ACACIA's investment will help the combined company strengthen operations, invest in its workforce and pursue larger and more complex projects. Moving forward under the Bel-Mac name, the organization will build on the contributions of both companies and their shared commitment to the communities they call home.

In HelloNation, Assisted Living Experts Rusty and Kelly Ackerman Explain Why Amenities Matter More Than Families Expect
Image File

The article examines how amenities shape daily routines, independence, and social connection in senior living communities.

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich., Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Why do senior living amenities have a greater impact on daily life than many families initially expect? HelloNation has released an article that explains how these features influence comfort, independence, and social connection in meaningful ways.

The article features insights from Assisted Living Experts Rusty and Kelly Ackerman of French Manor Assisted Living in Traverse City, Michigan, and highlights how senior living amenities play a central role in shaping everyday experiences within a community.

The HelloNation article explains that while families often focus on apartments and care services, senior living amenities are deeply connected to how residents spend their time. These amenities are not simply added features but part of the daily routine that supports both independence and engagement.

Dining options are one of the most impactful elements discussed. The article notes that meals are a daily experience that influence routine, health, and social connection. Asking about variety and flexibility helps families understand how dining options support both independence and comfort over time.

The article also explains that flexible dining options allow residents to make choices about when and what they eat. This ability to choose supports independence and reinforces a sense of control, which is especially important during transitions into a new living environment.

Activity spaces are another essential component of senior living amenities. The article describes how these spaces support hobbies, group events, and informal gatherings. Well-used activity spaces encourage residents to remain engaged and provide natural opportunities for social connection throughout the day.

In addition, activity spaces help foster spontaneous interaction. Residents may gather for conversation or shared interests, which strengthens community bonds. The article emphasizes that accessible and active spaces contribute directly to both engagement and independence.

Outdoor areas also play a significant role in daily life. The article explains that access to outdoor areas allows residents to enjoy fresh air, walk safely, and experience a change of environment. These outdoor areas help create a balanced routine and support emotional well-being.

The article further notes that time spent outdoors can improve mood and reduce stress. When outdoor areas are designed with safety and accessibility in mind, they support both independence and overall comfort.

Wellness programs are another key aspect of senior living amenities. The article describes how these programs provide structure through fitness and health-focused activities. Consistent wellness programs help residents maintain strength, confidence, and long-term well-being.

Wellness programs also encourage social connection by bringing residents together in shared activities. Participation in these programs helps build relationships while supporting physical health, reinforcing a sense of purpose within the community.

The article highlights that social connection is often shaped by how effectively senior living amenities are used. Dining options, activity spaces, outdoor areas, and wellness programs all create opportunities for interaction that help residents feel connected rather than isolated.

Senior living amenities also support independence in practical ways. Easy access to these features allows residents to make choices throughout the day, reinforcing confidence and autonomy over time.

Overall, the HelloNation article emphasizes that senior living amenities play a direct role in shaping comfort, independence, and social connection. Families are encouraged to look beyond appearance and ask how these amenities function on a daily basis to better understand the full living experience.

For families evaluating options, the article provides a clear perspective on how senior living amenities contribute to quality of life in ways that may not be immediately visible during a tour.

Why Amenities Matter More Than Families Expect features insights from Rusty and Kelly Ackerman, Assisted Living Experts of Traverse City, Michigan, in HelloNation.

Collaboration with AFAAAS⢠will provide nurse practitioners enrolled in the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies, Aesthetic Medicine Certificate Program with hands-on exposure to advanced aesthetic technology

WOBURN, Mass., Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Cytrellis Biosystems, Inc. ("Cytrellis") a medical aesthetics company bridging the gap in skin health and restoration, today announced its partnership with the Academy for Aesthetics and Anti-Aging Studies (AFAAASâ¢) for its Aesthetic Medicine Certificate Program, developed in academic partnership with the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies.

Through this collaboration, Cytrellis will bring its ellacor® system with Micro-Coring® Technology into the program's hands-on educational workshops, giving participating nurse practitioners an opportunity to experience an innovative approach to aesthetic medicine in a structured educational setting.

The Aesthetic Medicine Certificate is a rigorous 12-week program designed for board-certified advanced practice registered nurses. Combining on-campus classroom instruction with supervised clinical training, the program provides an academically grounded pathway for nurse practitioners seeking specialized education in the rapidly evolving field of aesthetic medicine.

Cytrellis will support each of the program's three annual cohorts by providing an ellacor system for educational demonstrations, treatment tips and necessary supplies, and participation from qualified Cytrellis clinical educators who will lead designated hands-on workshops. The clinical education team will provide live demonstrations of the technology, introduce participants to the ellacor device and discuss appropriate professional use.

The first Cytrellis-supported hands-on session is scheduled for October 31, 2026, at the University of Miami Coral Gables campus.

"As aesthetic medicine continues to evolve, we believe education and hands-on clinical training are essential to advancing the field and supporting the next generation of aesthetic providers," said Denise Dajles, CEO of Cytrellis Biosystems. "We are proud to support AFAAAS and this innovative certificate program by giving nurse practitioners the opportunity to learn about ellacor and Micro-Coring Technology in a rigorous educational environment. Programs like this help foster a deeper understanding of emerging technologies and prepare providers to deliver thoughtful, informed patient care."

Bringing Advanced Aesthetic Technology Into the Educational Setting

The ellacor system utilizes proprietary Micro-Coring Technology to remove microscale cores of skin without the use of thermal energy. The technology offers aesthetic providers a differentiated approach to addressing moderate to severe skin laxity in the face and body. By incorporating exposure to technologies such as ellacor into hands-on workshops, the Aesthetic Medicine Certificate Program aims to connect academic learning with practical education on technologies being used in today's aesthetic practices.

"Our goal with the Aesthetic Medicine Certificate Program is to give nurse practitioners an educational foundation that combines academic rigor, clinical supervision and meaningful exposure to the technologies shaping modern aesthetic medicine," said Daniel L. Campos, DNP, APRN, program director and founder of the Ageless Forever Institute in Coral Gables. "Cytrellis' support allows our students to experience ellacor firsthand and learn directly from trained clinical educators, adding an important dimension to the hands-on component of the program."

The Aesthetic Medicine Certificate Program includes 60 total contact hours, comprising 40 hours of on-campus class instruction and 20 hours of supervised clinical training. The program is designed for qualified nurse practitioners and is delivered through live, weekly instruction at the University of Miami Coral Gables campus.

In HelloNation, Residential Real Estate Expert Michele Isenberg Explains Choosing the Right Town in the Greater Danbury Area
Image File
Original HTML

The article outlines how budget, commute, and lifestyle shape decisions across towns with different home values and market trends.

DANBURY, Conn., Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- How can buyers decide which town best fits their needs when searching for a home? A recent HelloNation article explores this topic with insights from Residential Real Estate Expert Michele Isenberg of Danbury, Connecticut.

The HelloNation article explains that choosing the right town in the Greater Danbury area involves more than finding a home that looks appealing. It highlights how buyers must balance budget, commute, and lifestyle to identify a location that supports daily routines and long-term goals.

Budget is often the starting point. The article notes that home prices can vary significantly across the Greater Danbury area, even between neighboring towns. Defining a clear budget early helps buyers focus on locations where home value aligns with their financial plans and reduces uncertainty during the search.

The type of home available within a given price range can also differ by town. The article describes how some areas may offer larger properties or more land, while others provide smaller homes closer to town centers. When choosing the right town, understanding these tradeoffs helps buyers set realistic expectations about space, location, and cost.

Commute is another key factor. The article explains that travel time to work, access to major highways, and proximity to train stations all influence daily convenience. Buyers who commute regularly should consider how different towns affect both their schedule and flexibility throughout the week.

Some towns offer easier access to transportation routes, while others provide quieter settings with longer travel times. The article emphasizes that choosing the right town often involves deciding whether a shorter commute or a more relaxed environment is the better fit.

Lifestyle preferences also play an important role. The article notes that some buyers are drawn to areas with restaurants, shops, and local events, while others prefer more space and privacy. These lifestyle differences shape how buyers evaluate each town and what they prioritize in their search.

Community layout and amenities vary across the region as well. The article explains that certain towns feature walkable centers and active commercial areas, while others focus more on residential neighborhoods. These differences can affect how often residents travel for daily needs and how connected they feel to their surroundings.

School systems and local services are often part of the decision-making process. The article describes how buyers may compare towns based on available resources and long-term stability. Choosing the right town means looking beyond the home itself and considering how the area supports future needs.

Market trends also influence decision-making. The article explains that some towns may experience higher demand, which can impact pricing and competition. Understanding these patterns helps buyers make informed choices about where they can compete and what kind of home value they can expect.

Flexibility is another important consideration. The article notes that buyers may need to adjust expectations based on inventory and timing. Being open to nearby towns with similar characteristics can create more options and reduce pressure during the process of choosing the right town.

Daily routines should also be factored into the decision. Access to grocery stores, healthcare, and recreational spaces can all affect convenience. The article highlights that a location aligned with everyday habits often provides greater long-term satisfaction.

The article concludes that choosing the right town in the Greater Danbury area requires a balanced approach. By considering budget, commute, and lifestyle together, buyers can make decisions that support both immediate needs and future plans. Residential Real Estate Expert Michele Isenberg's insights help clarify how these factors come together in a competitive market.

How Do You Choose the Right Town in the Greater Danbury Area for Your Budget, Commute, and Lifestyle? Features insights from Michele Isenberg, Residential Real Estate Expert of Danbury, Connecticut, in HelloNation.

Graphene Market Set to Reach US$ 3.94 Billion by 2031 as Demand for Next-Generation Materials Accelerates
Image File
Original HTML

SHERIDAN, Wyo., Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The global graphene market is valued at USD 970 million in 2026 and is projected to reach USD 3.94 billion by 2031, growing at a CAGR of 32.4% over the forecast period (2026â2031), according to a new study by Wissen Research.

Graphene is a two-dimensional carbon nanomaterial made of a single layer of carbon atoms in a hexagonal lattice, with high electrical and thermal conductivity, mechanical strength, flexibility, and a large surface area. The report describes a market moving from research-led development toward targeted industrial commercialization, as suppliers put scalable manufacturing and customer-specific integration ahead of laboratory performance alone.

The evidence is in the production numbers. Black Swan Graphene more than tripled its annual graphene nanoplatelet capacity in the U.K. in March 2026, from 40 tonnes to more than 140 tonnes, and NanoXplore reports annual graphene powder capacity of up to 5,000 metric tonnes. The report is careful, though: capacity expansion alone does not establish market growth or utilization. Consistent quality, competitive costs, standardized characterization, and proven performance in real products will decide how quickly demand follows.

Production Is Scaling Up: Graphene Suppliers Move from Small Batches to Industrial Capacity

The industry is shifting from small-batch production toward industrial-scale manufacturing, and the report points to measurable capacity. Black Swan's upgraded U.K. facility uses high-shear liquid-phase exfoliation at industrial flow rates of up to 22,000 litres per hour, and the company links the expansion to commercial agreements, partnerships, and a growing sales pipeline across polymers, concrete, and advanced composites. In July 2026, Graphene Manufacturing Group started up its second-generation graphene production plant in Australia, designed to produce up to 10 tonnes a year after optimization, with capital costs tracking at or below its planned AUD 2.3 million. Xiamen Knano Graphene Technology in China reports annual graphene powder capacity of at least 500 tonnes, and in South Korea, Graphene Square opened a facility in Pohang in November 2025 with annual capacity of 300,000 square metres of chemical vapour deposition (CVD) graphene films.

The supply chain starts with graphite. China accounted for an estimated 82% of global natural graphite production in 2025, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, which shows how central that upstream position is to graphite-derived graphene nanoplatelets, graphene oxide, and reduced graphene oxide. For customers, the report notes, greater manufacturing capacity can improve supply reliability and support qualification of graphene-enhanced products for larger-volume industrial applications.

Where Graphene Is Being Qualified: Cooling, Composites, Cement, and Defence

The latest commercial news shows graphene moving into specific, application-led uses. Haydale advanced its graphene-enabled thermal transfer fluid for data-centre cooling, which showed approximately 28% higher thermal conductivity than a baseline inhibited glycol coolant. Commercial agreements with Liquitherm and Levidian have established a route to market, with discussions underway with data-centre operators representing approximately 200 MW of capacity. That fits a driver the report highlights: rising heat generation in compact electronic devices is accelerating demand for thermal management materials.

In composites, First Graphene signed a three-year agreement with Aeropreg to develop graphene-enhanced carbon-fibre prepreg for aerospace, automotive, marine, and sporting-goods applications. In construction, it signed a memorandum of understanding with China's The Sixth Element to distribute its PureGRAPH CEM graphene-based cement additive in China's cement and concrete industry. And in defence, NanoXplore, together with its subsidiary VoltaXplore, qualified as a supplier under Canada's Defence Drone Initiative Marketplace, covering graphene-enhanced composite components and lithium-ion battery cells.

Batteries: Promising Results, Careful Language

Energy storage is an important development area, with graphene explored in battery electrodes and supercapacitors. In April 2026, Graphene Manufacturing Group, working with the University of Queensland and supported by Rio Tinto, reported progress on its graphene aluminium-ion battery technology, saying its battery cells had doubled their energy density while retaining a six-minute charging capability.

The report treats that result as technology-development progress, not evidence of widespread commercial deployment. The commercial opportunity depends on independent validation, cycle life, manufacturing scalability, production economics, and customer qualification, and adoption timelines will vary by chemistry and end use. Successful commercialization could expand graphene consumption beyond its established uses in composites and coatings.

What's Fueling Growth in the Graphene Market

- Higher-capacity batteries: Demand for high-capacity lithium-ion batteries is driving graphene adoption in silicon-based anodes to improve electrical conductivity, manage electrode expansion, and enhance cycle life.

- Lightweight, high-strength materials: Automotive and aerospace manufacturing are encouraging graphene integration into composites to improve mechanical performance and component durability.

- Corrosion protection: Rising corrosion-related maintenance costs across industrial infrastructure are driving interest in graphene-enhanced protective coatings that can improve barrier performance and extend equipment service life.

- Heat in compact electronics: Growing heat generation in small devices is accelerating demand for graphene-based thermal management materials that help dissipate heat.

- Fast energy delivery: Requirements for rapid energy delivery and frequent charging cycles are supporting graphene in supercapacitors used in regenerative braking, power backup, and industrial energy management.

- Scalable production: Advances in scalable graphene production are improving material consistency and manufacturing efficiency, helping suppliers meet industrial qualification requirements.

Challenges Facing the Graphene Market

The central difficulty is that not all graphene is the same. Grades differ in layer count, lateral dimensions, defect density, purity, and surface chemistry, which makes direct comparisons between suppliers hard. Graphene that performs well in laboratory electrical tests may not deliver equivalent benefits once it is mixed into a polymer or coating, and manufacturers must find suitable loading levels and processing conditions for each application without compromising other material properties. Scale-up adds challenges in yield, quality control, and production economics, all of which can lengthen customer qualification cycles and delay adoption, particularly in highly regulated or performance-critical applications.

Standards are starting to help. In July 2025, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) published ISO/TS 9651:2025, a classification framework for graphene-related two-dimensional materials that covers relevant characteristics, measurement methods, and technical data-sheet guidance. A 2026 review in New Carbon Materials also examined standardized characterization, including layer count, defects, functional groups, elemental composition, sheet resistance, and carrier mobility. Producers that can provide reliable characterization data and consistent batch specifications can improve buyer confidence and shorten qualification.

Recent Strategic Developments in the Graphene Market

In October 2026, First Graphene Limited of Australia signed a three-year development and commercialization agreement with Aeropreg to develop graphene-enhanced carbon-fibre prepreg. The collaboration combines PureGRAPH additives with Aeropreg's composite manufacturing capabilities, targeting aerospace, automotive, marine, and sporting-goods applications through established sales channels.

In September 2026, NanoXplore Inc. of Canada qualified, alongside its subsidiary VoltaXplore, as a supplier under Canada's Defence Drone Initiative Marketplace. The qualification covers graphene-enhanced composite components and lithium-ion battery cells, creating opportunities to supply lightweight structural materials and advanced energy-storage technologies for defence drones and autonomous systems.

In September 2026, Haydale plc of the U.K. advanced its graphene-enabled Super-Efficient Thermal Transfer Fluid (SETTF) for data-centre cooling, demonstrating approximately 28% higher thermal conductivity than baseline inhibited glycol coolant. Commercial agreements with Liquitherm and Levidian established a route to market, with discussions underway with data-centre operators representing approximately 200 MW of capacity.

In July 2026, First Graphene Limited signed a memorandum of understanding with China's The Sixth Element to distribute its PureGRAPH CEM graphene-based cement additive. The agreement targets China's cement and concrete industry, with potential local manufacturing through a future joint venture or licensing arrangement linked to sales milestones.

Four announcements, four different end markets: composites, defence drones, data-centre cooling, and cement.
