SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Reducto, the agentic document platform for leading enterprises and AI teams, today announced the opening of its New York City office. The office will serve as the center of Reducto's East Coast presence and support the company's continued growth with enterprise customers in the region.

Since announcing more than $108 million in total funding last year, Reducto has grown to process billions of pages for the world's largest enterprises and AI teams. Its platform powers production use cases where extracting accurate, structured data from complex documents is critical.

The company recently released r-1, the first in a new generation of unified parsing models, and is expanding its physical presence to better serve its growing customer base.

Bringing document intelligence into production requires a detailed understanding of each customer's documents, systems, accuracy requirements, and existing workflows. Reducto works closely with customers from initial evaluations through architecture and deployment, using their most challenging documents to ensure the system performs reliably in production.

"New York is home to many of the enterprises shaping how AI is deployed across major industries. Expanding our presence there brings us closer to those customers and gives us access to an exceptional pool of commercial and technical talent. Together, that will help more enterprises move document intelligence from evaluation into production." — Adit Abraham, CEO

Many of Reducto's most valuable customer conversations have happened in person. The New York office builds on Reducto's growing relationships across the region, creating more opportunities to collaborate directly with customers and better understand the workflows they are bringing into production.

Reducto is actively hiring across functions for its New York team. Current openings include Enterprise and Growth Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, and Solutions Engineers. Candidates can explore open New York roles here.

Statement by CII Executive Director Glenn Davis on the SEC's Proposed Rescission of Rule 14a-8

Statement by CII Executive Director Glenn Davis on the SEC's Proposed Rescission of Rule 14a-8

WASHINGTON, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Let this moment settle in: The SEC, created for the purpose of protecting investors in the aftermath of the Crash of 1929, today proposed to rescind a World War II-era rule protecting shareholders' ability to suggest ideas to improve the companies they own.

Yes, shareholder proposals can be a source of embarrassment when they reveal a disconnect between shareholders' and managers' understandings of what matters to long-term performance; and sometimes trigger compromise before a vote takes place. That is a feature of strong capital markets, not a basis for a government agency to swat a fly with a sledgehammer.

The proposed rescission is a solution in search of a problem. Nearly all shareholder proposals are non-binding, which means they merely give corporate directors data to make better-informed decisions. Company costs related to shareholder proposals trace largely to self-imposed expenses such as pursuing legal cover to exclude proposals from ballots or funding campaigns to get out the "against" votes. Most publicly traded companies face zero shareholder proposals in a given year.

Could Rule 14a-8 be improved? Sure. But the SEC proposed rescinding the rule in its entirety, with fingers crossed that state legislators and corporate directors will develop a patchwork of new rules resulting in something better. Spoiler alert: That patchwork will launch a new race to the bottom in state corporate law and result in a dramatic reduction in shareholders who qualify as proponents, notwithstanding smaller investors' history of putting forward many of the most highly supported proposals.

CII will speak publicly and repeatedly to defend Rule 14a-8. We encourage all market participants to do their part in this effort. It's not about whether you agree or disagree with the substance of particular shareholder proposals. It's about preserving broad shareholder expression as a vital part of robust capital markets.

About CII: The Council of Institutional Investors (CII) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan association of U.S. asset owners, primarily pension funds, state and local entities charged with investing public assets, endowments and foundations, with combined global assets that exceed $5.6 trillion. CII's associate members include non-U.S. asset owners with more than $6.6 trillion in global assets, and a range of asset managers with more than $90 trillion in global assets under management. CII is a leading voice for effective corporate governance, strong shareowner rights and sensible financial rules that foster fair, transparent and vibrant capital markets.

SEPTEMBER 28, 2026 CAPR INVESTOR DEADLINE: Capricor Therapeutics, Inc. Investors with Substantial Losses Have Opportunity to Lead Class Action Lawsuit
Image File
Original HTML

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The law firm of Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP announces that purchasers or acquirers of Capricor Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: CAPR) securities between December 17, 2025 and July 26, 2026, both dates inclusive (the "Class Period"), have until Monday, September 28, 2026 to seek appointment as lead plaintiff of the Capicor class action lawsuit. Captioned Nkamga v. Capricor Therapeutics, Inc., No. 26-cv-04385 (S.D. Cal.), the Capricor class action lawsuit charges Capricor and certain of Capricor's executives with violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

If you suffered substantial losses and wish to serve as lead plaintiff of the Capricor class action lawsuit, please provide your information here:

https://www.rgrdlaw.com/cases-capricor-therapeutics-class-action-lawsuit-capr.html

You can also contact attorneys Ken Dolitsky or Michael Albert of Robbins Geller by calling 800/851-7783 or via e-mail at [email protected].

CASE ALLEGATIONS: Capricor is a biotechnology company focused on the development of cell and exosome-based therapeutics for the treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a rare genetic disorder characterized by progressive muscle degeneration and premature death. Its lead product candidate is Deramiocel, a cell therapy to address cardiac and skeletal muscle complications associated with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

The Capricor class action lawsuit alleges that defendants throughout the Class Period made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (i) Capricor adopted changes to the pre-specified statistical analysis plan used to analyze clinical data for Deramiocel; (ii) the FDA had not agreed to those changes before Capricor resubmitted the Deramiocel Biologics License Application ("BLA"); (iii) as a result, there was a significant risk that the FDA could conclude the clinical results did not provide substantial evidence of effectiveness of Deramiocel; and (iv) as a result of the foregoing, there was a substantial risk to regulatory approval of Deramiocel for the treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

On July 27, 2026, before the market opened, the FDA allegedly released briefing documents ahead of its July 29 advisory committee meeting for the BLA. According to the complaint, the briefing documents explained that Capricor made changes to the pre-specified statistical analysis plan ("SAP") and that the final version "was not submitted to FDA for review prior to BLA submission and was not discussed and consequently not agreed upon." The final version of the statistical analysis plan was allegedly created one day before the data was unblinded, and the FDA commented that the "FDA does not consider the conversion of raw change to percent change and then back to raw change to have been scientifically justified, as it adds complexity and reduces accuracy." The FDA allegedly further stated that it "considers [Capricor's] analyses based on the post-study SAP versions to be post-hoc and exploratory." The complaint further alleges that the briefing documents concluded "the benefit-risk assessment for [D]eramiocel appears unfavorable in the absence of evidence of effectiveness."

That same day, Capricor allegedly provided "an update," stating that "'Capricor has engaged fully and transparently with the FDA throughout the review process'" and that "'[i]t is critical to understand that the post-hoc analyses in the FDA's briefing materials rely on SAP version 1.1, an unsigned incomplete internal draft which became obsolete with the addition of cohort B and did not include content specifically requested by the FDA.'" The Capricor class action lawsuit further alleges that Cantor Fitzgerald published an investor note that same day, stating the FDA's "briefing documents paint an ugly picture" and "raise several concerns and make allegations about the integrity of data collecting." On this news, the price of Capricor stock fell 64%, according to the complaint.

On July 29, 2026, the advisory committee allegedly met to discuss the Deramiocel BLA. The next day, Medscape reported that the panel relied on SAP version 1.1 as the "prespecified plan" and, in a non-binding 9-3 vote, the panel "concluded that the available evidence does not support the efficacy of deramiocel for treating DMD-associated cardiomyopathy." On this news, the price of Capricor stock fell 36%, according to the complaint.

THE LEAD PLAINTIFF PROCESS: The Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995 permits any investor who purchased or acquired Capricor securities during the Class Period to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in the Capricor class action lawsuit. A lead plaintiff is generally the movant with the greatest financial interest in the relief sought by the putative class who is also typical and adequate of the putative class. A lead plaintiff acts on behalf of all other class members in directing the Capricor class action lawsuit. The lead plaintiff can select a law firm of its choice to litigate the Capricor class action lawsuit. An investor's ability to share in any potential future recovery is not dependent upon serving as lead plaintiff of the Capricor class action lawsuit.

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP announces that purchasers or acquirers of York Space Systems Inc. (NYSE: YSS): (i) common stock pursuant and/or traceable to the registration statement and prospectus issued in connection with York Space's January 2026 initial public offering (the "IPO"); and/or (ii) securities between January 29, 2026 and May 11, 2026, all dates inclusive (the "Class Period"), have until October 30, 2026 to seek appointment as lead plaintiff of the York Space class action lawsuit. Captioned Ianelli v. York Space Systems Inc., No. 26-cv-04074 (D. CASE ALLEGATIONS: York Space operates as a space and defense provider that primarily sells satellites and satellite-related services. According to the complaint, for fiscal 2025, 96% of York Space's revenue was derived from projects contracted by the U.S. Federal Government under the Pentagon's Space Development Agency ("SDA"). The complaint alleges that in its January 2026 IPO, York Space sold approximately 18.5 million shares of common stock at a price of $34.00 per share.

The York Space class action lawsuit alleges that in the IPO's offering documents and throughout the Class Period defendants made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (i) York Space's onboard mission and payload software was not fully functional before satellites were launched; (ii) this ongoing trend presented a risk to York Space's contracts with the SDA; and (iii) as a result of the foregoing, defendants' positive statements about York Space's business, operations, and prospects, were materially misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis.

The York Space class action lawsuit further alleges that on May 11, 2026, at approximately 10 a.m. EST, Wolfpack Research published a short report entitled "YSS: Lost In Space – The Pentagon Just Killed 96% of York's Revenue." The report allegedly cited multiple former software engineers who stated that York Space "sent satellites into space without even knowing if the software was fit to accomplish its basic mission," and allegedly raised suspicions that the Pentagon's decision to eliminate the Tranche 3 funding was "rooted in severe disappointment in York."

BIDU Stockholder Alert: Shareholder Rights Law Firm Robbins LLP Reminds Investors of the Class Action Lawsuit Against Baidu, Inc.
Image File
Original HTML

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Shareholder rights law firm Robbins LLP reminds investors that a class action was filed on behalf of persons and entities who purchased or otherwise acquired Baidu, Inc. (NASDAQ: BIDU) securities, including call options, between November 18, 2025 and August 17, 2026, inclusive (the "Class Period"). Baidu is a Chinese technology company that operates the most popular internet search engine in China.

The complaint alleges that Baidu, Inc. overstated the ability of its AI business to mitigate rapid declines in its legacy online marketing business.

Investors who suffered significant losses during the Class Period may be eligible to participate in the lawsuit and should contact Robbins LLP for information.

Why Was Baidu Sued?

According to the complaint, online Marketing Services is Baidu's core legacy business, which represented approximately 53.1% of total revenues for the third quarter of 2025. However, Online Marketing Services revenue for the third quarter of 2025 fell 17.6% compared to the third quarter of 2024. Despite this, Baidu assured investors that its new Core AI-powered Business growth had, and would continue to, meaningfully mitigate Baidu's Online Marketing Services decline.

The complaint alleges that, during the Class Period, defendants failed to disclose to investors:

- that the Company had overstated the ability of its AI business to mitigate rapid declines in its legacy online marketing business;

- that, as a result, the Company's revenue was reasonably likely to decline; and

- that, as a result, defendants' positive statements about the Company's business, operations, and prospects were materially misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis.

Why Did BIDU Stock Drop?

The complaint alleges that on February 26, 2026, Baidu reported fourth quarter and full year 2025 financial results, revealing that total revenue fell more than 4% year over year for the fourth quarter to RMB32.74 billion (or $4.68 billion) and fell more than 3% year over year for the full year to RMB129.079 billion (or $18.458 billion). However, Baidu management assured investors its "AI-Powered Business" grew 48% year over year to RMB40 billion for fiscal year 2025, mitigating this transition. On this news, the price of Baidu American Depositary Shares ("ADS") fell $7.50 per share or 5.65%, to close at $125.15 per share on February 26, 2026.

Then, on August 18, 2026, Baidu reported second quarter 2026 financial results, revealing that Baidu General Business revenue fell 4% year over year to RMB25.2 billion (or $3.71 billion), with Legacy Business revenue falling 23% year over year to RMB10.4 billion and total Online Marketing Services revenue falling 19% year over year to RMB13.1 billion. Critically, the Baidu Core AI-powered business fell 8% quarter over quarter to RMB12.5 billion (or $1.86 billion), its year-over-year growth having decelerated from 49% in the first quarter of 2026 to 25%, and its largest component, AI Cloud Infra, having fallen 17% quarter over quarter from RMB8.8 billion to RMB7.3 billion. On this news, the price of Baidu ADS fell $13.25 per share, or 12.73%, to close at $90.87 on August 18, 2026.

Robbins LLP Urges HDB Stockholders to Contact the Firm for Information About the Class Action Against HDFC Bank Limited
Image File
Original HTML

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Shareholder rights law firm Robbins LLP reminds investors that a class action was filed on behalf of all persons and entities who purchased or otherwise acquired HDFC Bank Limited (NYSE: HDB) securities between July 17, 2023 and May 26, 2026 (the "Class Period"). HDFC is an Indian financial services conglomerate and banking company headquartered in Mumbai.

The complaint alleges that HDFC Bank camouflaged payments as marketing spend to pay higher interest to a state firm to induce deposits.

Investors who suffered significant losses during the Class Period may be eligible to participate in the lawsuit and should contact Robbins LLP for information about becoming lead plaintiff before the October 13, 2026 deadline.

Listen to our podcast.

Why Was HDFC Bank Sued?

The complaint alleges that defendants made false and misleading statements regarding HDFC Bank's business, operations, and prospects. Specifically, the complaint alleges that defendants failed to disclose that:

- HDFC Bank camouflaged payments as marketing spend to pay higher interest to a state firm to induce deposits;

- these activities were approved by senior management;

- these activities likely violated regulations and the Company's own policies, including those that prohibit payments that could constitute improper inducement;

- therefore, the Company's interest income and operating expenses were overstated; and

- therefore, defendants' positive statements about the Company's business, operations, and prospects were materially misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis.

Why Did HDFC Bank Stock Drop?

Plaintiff alleges that on March 18, 2026, HDFC filed a letter with the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited, reporting the resignation of Mr. Atanu Chakraborty from his roles as part-time Chairman and Independent Director of HDFC. In Mr. Chakraborty's resignation letter, he stated that "[c]ertain happenings and practices within the bank, that I have observed over last two years, are not in congruence with my personal Values and Ethics. This is the basis of my aforementioned decision." On this news, the price of HDFC's American Depositary Shares ("ADS") fell $2.09, or 7.28% to close at $26.62 per share on March 18, 2026.

Then, on May 27, 2026, before the market opened, The Indian Express published an article entitled "HDFC Bank 'camouflaged' crores as marketing spend to pay higher interest to state firm." The article reported that HDFC Bank had made covert payments of approximately "Rs 45 crore," or approximately $4.7 million USD, to the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation ("MSRDC") to induce MSRDC to make large deposits with the Company. The Company offered 6.01% interest to MSRDC, a 2.51% markup over the interest offered to other savings accounts, and paid that markup by "disguis[ing] [it] as sponsorship payments for a road safety awareness campaign run by MSRDC." Reportedly, an internal probe in March and April 2026, concluded that over ten top officials bore responsibility, including HDFC's CEO Sashidhar Jagdishan. On this news, HDFC's ADS price fell $1.02, or 4.1%, to close at $23.78 per share on May 27, 2026.

Who May Be Eligible to Participate in the HDFC Bank Limited Class Action?

The lawsuit seeks to represent investors who purchased or otherwise acquired HDFC Bank Limited securities between July 17, 2023 and May 26, 2026. Investors who suffered losses during that period may have legal rights under the federal securities laws.

What Is a Lead Plaintiff?

Serving as lead plaintiff is not required to share in any potential recovery. Investors who do not seek appointment may remain absent class members if the case proceeds and later resolves successfully.

Stockholders who wish to seek appointment as lead plaintiff must submit their papers to the court by October 13, 2026.

Does It Cost Anything to Participate?

No. Robbins LLP represents investors on a contingency fee basis.

A class action lawsuit has already been filed. If you wish to serve as lead plaintiff, you must move the Court no later than October 13, 2026. A lead plaintiff is a representative party acting on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation.

Why Rosen Law: We encourage investors to select qualified counsel with a track record of success in leadership roles. Often, firms issuing notices do not have comparable experience, resources, or any meaningful peer recognition. Many of these firms do not actually handle securities class actions, but are merely middlemen that refer clients or partner with law firms that actually litigate the cases. Be wise in selecting counsel. The Rosen Law Firm represents investors throughout the globe, concentrating its practice in securities class actions and shareholder derivative litigation. Rosen Law Firm has achieved the largest ever securities class action settlement against a Chinese Company. Rosen Law Firm was Ranked No. 1 by ISS Securities Class Action Services for number of securities class action settlements in 2017. The firm has been ranked in the top 4 each year since 2013 and has recovered billions of dollars for investors. In 2019 alone the firm secured over $438 million for investors. In 2020, founding partner Laurence Rosen was named by law360 as a Titan of Plaintiffs' Bar. Many of the firm's attorneys have been recognized by Lawdragon and Super Lawyers.

Details of the case: According to the lawsuit, in the Registration Statement and throughout the Class Period, defendants made materially false and/or misleading statements, as well as failed to disclose material adverse facts about Aardvark's business, operations, and prospects. Specifically, defendants failed to disclose to investors that: (1) ARD-101 was less safe than defendants had led investors to believe; (2) accordingly, ARD-101's clinical, regulatory, and commercial prospects were overstated; and (3) as a result, defendants' public statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.

To join the Aardvark class action, go to https://rosenlegal.com/cases/aardvark-therapeutics-inc/join or call Phillip Kim, Esq. toll-free at 866-767-3653 or email [email protected] for information on the class action.

No Class Has Been Certified. Until a class is certified, you are not represented by counsel unless you retain one. You may select counsel of your choice. You may also remain an absent class member and do nothing at this point. An investor's ability to share in any potential future recovery is not dependent upon serving as lead plaintiff.

Blockboard Named Finalist in Two Categories at the 2026 Digiday Technology Awards

Third consecutive Best Buy-Side Programmatic Platform nomination follows Blockboard's 2025 victory, while BlockVantage earns Best AI Tool recognition in its first year

NEW YORK, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Blockboard, the outcomes-driven advertising technology company built to bring greater trust, transparency and efficiency to digital media, today announced that it has been named a finalist in two categories at the 2026 Digiday Technology Awards:

- Best Buy-Side Programmatic Platform

- Best AI Tool - BlockVantage

The Best Buy-Side Programmatic Platform nomination marks the third consecutive year Blockboard has been recognized as a finalist in the category. It follows the company's 2025 win, reinforcing Blockboard's continued position among the industry's leading programmatic platforms.

Blockboard's growing trophy case also includes CEO and founder Matt Wasserlauf's 2024 Digiday Technology Award for Founder of the Year. Together, these honors reflect multiple years of recognition for the company's technology, leadership and commitment to addressing some of digital advertising's most persistent challenges.

"To be recognized by Digiday for a third consecutive year, and in two categories, is an incredible honor for our entire team," said Matt Wasserlauf, founder and CEO of Blockboard. "Winning Best Buy-Side Programmatic Platform last year validated our approach to building a more transparent and accountable advertising ecosystem. This year's recognition of both Blockboard and our BlockVantage AI campaign tool shows that we are continuing to innovate while staying focused on what matters most: helping marketers eliminate waste, reach real audiences and generate stronger results."

Blockboard was named a finalist for "Development of Verified AI Media," recognizing its approach to combining artificial intelligence with trust-verified technology. The platform is designed to help advertisers plan, execute and measure campaigns across connected TV, online video, display, mobile and audio while providing greater clarity into how their media investments are being used.

Every impression purchased through Blockboard is pre-validated to help ensure that an actual person is behind the view. This approach allows marketers to essentially eliminate exposure to advertising fraud and wasted spending while directing more of their budgets toward real audiences and measurable outcomes.

The company's second nomination recognizes the launch of BlockVantage, its AI-powered media-planning and campaign-activation tool. In its first year, BlockVantage was named a finalist for Best AI Tool, an early milestone for a platform created to simplify the traditionally complex process of launching digital and streaming television campaigns.

BlockVantage enables businesses to build media plans, identify target audiences, generate creative and launch campaigns through a streamlined experience. By making sophisticated advertising technology faster and easier to use, BlockVantage expands access to capabilities that have traditionally required significant time, expertise and resources.

The two nominations represent both sides of Blockboard's mission: advancing enterprise-grade programmatic advertising while making powerful media technology more accessible to businesses of all sizes.

The Digiday Technology Awards recognize the companies and platforms driving innovation across advertising, media and commerce. Winners of the 2026 awards will be announced on September 22.

Original HTML

First installment of a two-part educational series provides hospitality owners, buyers, and developers with an in-depth framework for navigating state ABC regulations, municipal population caps, Class C license privileges, and asset valuation.

ALLENHURST, N.J. , Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Commercial real estate brokerage firm Bielat Santore & Company has officially released Episode 6 (Part I) of its Owner's Edge Podcast Series, titled "New Jersey Liquor Licenses: Regulatory Structure and Market Value". The episode delivers a comprehensive analysis of how New Jersey's unique statutory framework governs retail alcoholic beverage licenses and creates private-market economic value.

Although New Jersey law classifies a liquor license as a regulated government privilege rather than ordinary property, eligible licenses command substantial market value across the state.

Key Topics Covered in Episode 6 (Part I):

- The Statutory Framework & Municipal Population Caps: Established under Title 33 following the repeal of Prohibition in 1933, New Jersey's Alcoholic Beverage Control system ties retail licenses to local population limits.

- Essential Class C Retail Licenses: An overview of key retail license types, including Type 33 (Plenary Retail Consumption for standard bar/restaurant service), Type 32 (Plenary Retail Consumption with Broad Package Privilege, no longer newly issued), Type 44 (Plenary Retail Distribution for package stores).

- Person-to-Person & Place-to-Place Transfers: Clarifying the legal separation between purchasing a business asset and transferring a license.

- The Six-Step Valuation Framework: Addressing why there is no standardized statewide price database and presenting a six-step valuation methodology.

- Impact on Operating Economics & Real Estate: How beverage service enhances average guest checks, gross profit margins, and late-day sales.

Coming Next Month - Part II: "Recent Changes in New Jersey Liquor License Law"
