iScreen Expands iOS 27 Customization With New Extra-Large Widget Experiences, iPhone Duo Theme Support and AI-Powered Home Screen Design

The latest update introduces interactive extra-large widget hubs, adaptive layouts for iPhone Duo, and AI-assisted Home Screen personalization.

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- iScreen, a mobile customization app for iOS and Android, today announced a new round of features and content designed around iOS 27, expanding the ways users can personalize their Home Screens with widgets, themes and emerging display formats.

The update highlights new experiences built around iOS 27's extra-large widget format, theme layouts optimized for iPhone Duo, and a new collection of iOS 27-inspired visual styles. iScreen is also expanding its exploration of AI-assisted personalization through AI Home Screen Designer, offering a more intuitive way to create coordinated screen setups.

Extra-Large Widgets Unlock New Home Screen Experiences

With the expanded widget dimensions available in iOS 27, iScreen is introducing new experiences designed specifically for the larger canvas, going beyond simply scaling up existing widget formats.

The new collection features a variety of extra-large widgets, including Photo, Album, Music, Calendar, Interactive Refrigerator and Quick Launch widgets, giving users new ways to display content, interact with their Home Screen and access frequently used functions. iScreen also supports customizable extra-large widgets, allowing users to personalize content, layouts and visual styles to create more functional and expressive Home Screen experiences.

Theme Layouts Optimized for iPhone Duo

To accommodate the new screen proportions and display dimensions of iPhone Duo, iScreen has optimized selected theme resources for the device's current screen format.

Wallpapers, widgets, icons and overall Home Screen layouts have been adjusted to better fit the new proportions while maintaining a balanced and cohesive visual experience.

Looking ahead, iScreen plans to further explore layout behavior, widget adaptation and visual continuity across different display states as new device formats create additional possibilities for mobile personalization.

iOS 27-Inspired Themes for a Cohesive New Look

Alongside its widget and device-format updates, iScreen has introduced a new collection of iOS 27-inspired themes reflecting the latest visual trends in iPhone customization.

The collection brings together coordinated wallpapers, transparent-style widgets, icons and other visual elements. By combining these assets into complete setups, users can create a polished and consistent Home Screen without having to manually search for and match individual elements.

AI-Assisted Home Screen Design

iScreen is also exploring how AI can make Home Screen personalization faster and more intuitive. AI Home Screen Designer can generate coordinated design suggestions based on a user's preferences for style, color and visual elements, combining wallpapers, widgets and icons into a unified setup.

The feature is currently available to a limited group of users for testing. iScreen will continue refining the generation experience based on user feedback and plans to gradually expand availability.

"Personalization is shifting from static aesthetics to dynamic, context-aware experiences," said the iScreen creative team. "With iOS 27's larger widgets and iPhone Duo's dual-display format, this update delivers deeper visual immersion and automated tools that simplify creating a cohesive Home Screen setup."

In HelloNation, Swim School Expert Woody Alpern of Atlanta Weighs In on Private vs Group Swim Lessons for Kids
Image File
Original HTML

ATLANTA, Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Should parents choose private or group swim lessons for their child? A HelloNation article explores this common question by comparing the benefits of private vs group swim lessons and helping families in Atlanta decide which approach supports their child's water safety, skill development, and confidence.

The article highlights that small group swim lessons in Atlanta are a popular choice for many families. With typically two to four children per instructor, these classes allow for both individual feedback and the added value of peer learning. Children can watch others perform a skill, hear instructions repeated, and practice in a supportive, social environment that often increases engagement and motivation.

For younger swimmers, such as those in toddler swim classes, learning by observation plays a key role in early skill development. According to the article, seeing classmates succeed often encourages children to attempt new skills themselves. Small group settings provide a balance of structure and interaction, making it easier for children to stay focused and excited during lessons.

Private lessons, on the other hand, offer a one-on-one format that allows the instructor to tailor every aspect of the lesson to one child. The article points out that private swim instruction may be beneficial for children who are especially shy, have specific fears, or require extra support to overcome learning challenges. Parents may choose private lessons to speed up swim skill development or address individual goals with focused instruction.

The article makes it clear that both private and small group formats have value, but many children thrive in group environments. Small group swim lessons allow for more natural repetition and varied feedback, while also supporting social development. Children learn to take turns, follow group instruction, and support their peers—skills that carry over into other aspects of early childhood development.

When considering the best swim class size for kids, the article suggests that two to four students per instructor is ideal. This ensures that children get sufficient attention and time to practice, while also benefiting from the group setting. Larger class sizes may reduce individual interaction and limit opportunities to correct technique in real-time.

The article also compares how each format contributes to kids water safety. Private lessons can rapidly reinforce safety techniques, such as floating, breath control, or swimming to the pool edge. Meanwhile, small group classes offer repeated exposure to these same safety skills, but in a way that includes observation and social reinforcement. Both approaches teach essential safety habits, though the path to mastering them may vary depending on the child.

Consistency remains a key factor in swim skill development. The article recommends weekly swim lessons, especially for children in early learning stages. Small group swim lessons in Atlanta offer steady reinforcement through a predictable schedule, helping children build muscle memory and retain progress. While private lessons can deliver similar results, scheduling may be more complex and often comes at a higher cost.

Finally, the article touches on the emotional and social benefits of group instruction. Children develop confidence not only in their swimming abilities, but also in following instructions, working alongside peers, and celebrating group successes. These experiences often make swimming more enjoyable and encourage long-term participation.

Small Group vs. Private Swim Lessons for Children features insights from Woody Alpern, Swim School Expert of Atlanta, GA, in HelloNation.

KanEquip JCB Opens Kansas City Facility to Support Growing Regional Demand

New Kansas City location strengthens KanEquip's ability to serve construction, agriculture and commercial customers throughout the region

KANSAS CITY, Kan., Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- KanEquip JCB has expanded its presence into the Kansas City market with a new location designed to provide JCB equipment sales, service, and support to customers throughout the region.

Located at 3550 Fairbanks Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas, in the Santa Fe Industrial Area, the new facility gives KanEquip JCB a strategic location from which to serve the growing construction and commercial equipment needs of the Kansas City area and surrounding communities.

The Kansas City location will feature JCB's extensive lineup of construction equipment, including excavators, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, telehandlers, and other equipment designed for demanding jobsite applications. KanEquip JCB will also support JCB's agricultural equipment offerings, providing customers with access to equipment and support through a single dealership organization.

"We've been fortunate to see tremendous growth with JCB, and Kansas City is a natural next step for us," said Grant Meinhardt, vice president and general manager of KanEquip JCB. "Our goal is to bring the JCB product line, along with the level of sales, parts and service support our customers expect from KanEquip, to the Kansas City market."

The expansion builds on KanEquip's longstanding relationship with JCB. What began with JCB wheel loaders and telehandlers has grown into a much broader relationship encompassing JCB's full range of construction equipment as well as its agricultural product line.

KanEquip's relationship with JCB has continued to grow as the dealership has expanded its JCB business across the region. In 2025, JCB recognized KanEquip as one of the three largest Fastrac dealers in the world.

The Kansas City expansion also adds another chapter to the history of KanEquip, a dealership organization with roots dating to 1967, when the business began as Meinhardt Farm Equipment. Jim Meinhardt established KanEquip, Inc. in 1999, and in 2019 his sons, Bryndon and Grant Meinhardt, acquired majority ownership of the company.

Today, KanEquip operates locations throughout Kansas, representing equipment brands serving agriculture, construction and commercial customers.

The new Kansas City facility provides KanEquip JCB with additional space to support equipment sales, service and parts operations while positioning the company closer to customers in one of the region's largest and most active commercial markets.

"We're excited about what Kansas City represents for KanEquip JCB and for our customers," Meinhardt said. "This location gives us the opportunity to build new relationships while providing the equipment and support our customers need to keep their businesses moving."

About KanEquip, Inc.

Founded in 1999, KanEquip, Inc. is a full-service equipment dealership with locations throughout Kansas. The company provides equipment sales, parts and service support to agricultural, construction and commercial customers and represents leading equipment brands, including JCB.

4Humanity Introduces the National Positivity Portal, Using AI to Make the Good Happening Across America Easier to See

AI-powered platform discovers and organizes real stories of nonprofit impact into a growing, searchable archive of America's goodness

BOSTON, Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, 4Humanity announced the National Positivity Portal, an AI-powered platform designed to discover, organize, and amplify real stories of positive impact happening across America.

The idea behind the Portal is simple: use artificial intelligence not to tell people what to think, but to help people see more of what is already happening. Its larger mission is to help lift humanity by building trust in human potential.

The National Positivity Portal continuously discovers publicly available stories from nonprofits and organizations across the country and organizes them into one searchable experience. Visitors can explore organizations and stories by cause, location, and mission, watch short daily stories of hope, compassion, service, and positive change, and find opportunities to learn more, support, volunteer, donate, or get involved.

"The problem isn't that good things aren't happening. It's that we rarely see them," said Glenn Court, Founder of 4Humanity. "Every day across America, nonprofits, foundations, civic organizations, and individuals are feeding families, supporting young people, strengthening communities, protecting the vulnerable, and helping people in countless other ways. But those stories are scattered across thousands of websites, social feeds, and local news outlets, making the full picture difficult to see. 4Humanity is working to change that."

What AI Makes Possible

For the first time, artificial intelligence makes it possible to discover, organize, and connect positive impact stories at a scale and speed no human team could sustain.

The Portal can continuously search publicly available information, identify stories of service and positive impact, categorize them, and make them accessible through one platform. Each story contributes to a growing archive searchable by cause, location, and organization.

Rather than using AI to generate another stream of outrage or division, 4Humanity is asking a different question: What if AI could help make humanity's best qualities more visible?

The result is intended to become a daily proof of goodness, a place where people can regularly see real examples of service, compassion, responsibility, and positive change.

An Invitation to Organizations Across America

4Humanity is inviting nonprofits across the country to opt in, with each becoming an affirming organization of the National Positivity Portal.

Organizations are affirming that their work is part of a larger national pattern of positive virtue and helping make that pattern visible.

For participating organizations, the Portal offers another way for people to discover their mission, learn about their impact, and connect with opportunities to support, volunteer, donate, or get involved.

For more information, visit 4Humanity.net to learn, explore the Portal, and opt in to help connect the good happening across America.

About the National Positivity Portal - 4Humanity.net

The National Positivity Portal is a nonpartisan, nonreligious, AI-driven platform that showcases, connects, and organizes the work of America's nonprofits and civic organizations under one shared umbrella of demonstrated positive virtue. Its mission is to help lift humanity by building back trust in human potential. For more information, visit: 4Humanity.net.

NEW YORK, Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- At 10 years old, Max Alexander holds the Guinness World Records title for the youngest runway fashion designer. Now, he has chosen Mood Fabrics as his partner to launch his first original fabric collection. The Mood × Max Alexander collection, personally curated and annotated by Max Alexander, launched on Monday, September 14, 2026, with an exclusive party attended by celebrities (including Fern Mallis, creator of New York Fashion Week), media, family, and close friends. During the live event, Max officially achieved two additional Guinness World Records titles. The collection is available online at moodfabrics.com and will be available at Mood Fabrics retail locations nationwide.

After selecting each textile by hand, Max built a collection reflecting his signature design aesthetic: bold in color, deliberate in texture, and rooted in the conviction that extraordinary design begins with the right material.

The fabrics also reflect Max's longstanding commitment to sustainability and prioritizes eco-conscious fibers wherever possible, featuring low-impact, sustainable fibers including BCI Cotton, recycled polyester faux fur, Ecovero viscose rayon challis, and European Flax linen.

"At the core of this collection is the idea that one small choice can make a big difference. Sustainability doesn't have to mean being perfect. It can be about the tiny choices we make every day and changing little habits that add up to something much bigger."

— Max Alexander, Designer

The collection includes Max's signature "Wings" printed in multiple colorways alongside high-quality, eco-minded textiles. "A Safari Made From Happiness!" includes fifteen fabrics. Shop Max Alexander Fabrics.

New state-of-the-art brewing plant expands North American production capacity and fuels local job growth

JEFFERSON, Wis., Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Kikkoman Foods, Inc. (KFI), the U.S. manufacturing arm of the world's leading soy sauce brand, today celebrated the official grand opening of its newest production facility in Jefferson, Wisconsin, which begins shipping product in fall 2026. The Jefferson plant represents KFI's third U.S. production facility and expands Kikkoman's ability to meet growing demand across retail, foodservice, and food manufacturing channels throughout North America.

"Kikkoman has been a valued partner in Wisconsin for more than fifty years," said Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers. "This new facility in Jefferson is a testament to the strength of that relationship and speaks to what makes Wisconsin a destination for world-class manufacturers — a skilled and dedicated workforce, a thriving agricultural economy, and a business climate built for long-term growth. We are proud to welcome this next chapter of Kikkoman's presence in our state and look forward to the opportunities it will create for Jefferson and the entire region."

With manufacturing plants in Walworth, Wisconsin and Folsom, California, the new Jefferson facility will produce a range of Kikkoman products, including soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, and non-soy sauce-related seasonings for retail, foodservice and food manufacturing customers. The 240,000 square-foot building is a state-of-the-art facility featuring a highly flexible manufacturing layout capable of handling multiple products, viscosities, and packaging formats including glass, BPA-free plastic, industrial, and bulk sizing. Located within Jefferson's planned Food & Beverage Innovation Campus, the facility also incorporates advanced digital manufacturing tools that enable paperless operations, real-time data visualization, and enhanced traceability. These measures support KFI's commitment to reduce CO2 emissions by more than 50%, reduce water consumption per unit by more than 30%, and achieve a 100% recycling rate by 2030 as part of the company's long term environmental strategy.

"For over 350 years, we have earned the trust and loyalty of consumers through our sauces and seasonings, fueling our growth in North America," said Mr. Yuzaburo Mogi, Director Chairman of the Board and Honorary CEO, KFI. "Our partnership with Wisconsin has long been central to our success, and Jefferson is the natural next chapter. This facility gives us proximity to key agricultural suppliers, access to high-quality water our brewing process demands, and a workforce rooted in the same values that have guided Kikkoman for generations. As global culinary influences continue to shape what people want on their tables, this facility also strengthens our ability to meet that evolving demand by bringing the depth and authenticity of international flavors to more people, faster."

The Jefferson facility represents an investment of approximately $560 million over 10 years. With the addition of this new manufacturing plant and in conjuncture with the Walworth facilities, KFI brings more than 80 high-paying jobs in southeastern Wisconsin. In support of the project, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation has committed up to $15.5 million in performance-based tax credits to fuel job creation and capital investment benchmarks. KFI is also working with regional workforce development and technical education partners to support hiring and training for advanced food manufacturing careers.

KFI's investment in Jefferson builds on the company's longstanding commitment to community impact and responsible corporate citizenship. KFI has contributed more than $17 million in charitable donations to educational platforms, civic organizations, community charities, disaster relief efforts and environmental protection organizations in Jefferson and beyond, including a new $250K to Jefferson County for native prairie restoration in honor of the grand opening.

Kikkoman's soy sauce business in North America has continued to grow at an average annual rate of more than 6% over the past decade. In the U.S., the company has held the leading share of the soy sauce market for more than a decade, and the Jefferson facility supports KFI's broader strategy to expand production capacity and sustain that growth.

To celebrate the grand opening, KFI hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony, cultural performances including traditional taiko drumming, a performance by the Jefferson High School Show Choir, and a live shodo calligraphy demonstration honoring Japanese heritage and cultural exchange. Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers attended the event, alongside Community Boarder Chair Steve Nass, Jefferson Mayor Dale Oppermann, Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) CEO John Miller and COO Sam Rikkers, and additional state and local officials.

Remote Patient Monitoring Market to Reach US$ 62.2 Bn by 2031, Growing at 12.5% CAGR, Driven by Hospital-at-Home Expansion: Wissen Research
Image File
Original HTML

SHERIDAN, Wyo., Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The global remote patient monitoring market is projected to grow from USD 34.5 billion in 2026 to USD 62.2 billion by 2031, registering a CAGR of 12.5% during the forecast period (2026–2031), according to a new study by Wissen Research.

Growth is being driven by rising chronic disease prevalence, expanding hospital-at-home programs, and growing reliance on reimbursement-supported remote monitoring to reduce costly hospital readmissions. Wider availability of connected medical devices, cellular-enabled monitoring hardware, and AI-based analytics is enabling healthcare providers to track patients continuously outside traditional clinical settings — supporting chronic disease management, post-acute care, and value-based care models.

Where Remote Monitoring Is Heading: From Passive Tracking to Predictive Care

The most significant shift underway in remote patient monitoring is the move from simple data collection to active clinical decision support. AI-enabled monitoring platforms are increasingly capable of automatically flagging abnormal vital sign trends, prioritizing alerts by patient risk level, and supporting predictive analytics that can flag disease progression, medication non-compliance, or readmission risk before a crisis occurs — reducing the manual review burden on already stretched clinical staff.

This shift is closely tied to the rapid growth of hospital-at-home care models, where patients recovering from surgery or managing conditions like heart failure or COPD receive acute-level care in their own homes, monitored continuously through connected diagnostic devices and wearable sensors. At the same time, cellular-enabled, plug-and-play devices are removing a major adoption barrier — elderly and non-technical patients no longer need a complex home network setup to be enrolled in a monitoring program, which is accelerating adoption among the population that needs RPM most.

What's Fueling Growth in the Remote Patient Monitoring Market

- Expanding Reimbursement Support: Dedicated CMS billing codes for remote monitoring are giving providers a direct, recurring revenue incentive to adopt RPM at scale.

- Hospital Readmission Reduction: Health systems are deploying RPM to avoid costly 30-day readmission penalties tied to chronic disease relapse.

- Hospital-at-Home Expansion: Growing hospital-at-home programs are driving demand for continuous, connected monitoring devices that keep patients safe while recovering outside inpatient settings.

- Value-Based Care Adoption: Providers operating under value-based contracts are turning to RPM to reduce emergency room visits and improve patient outcomes.

- Workforce Shortage Pressure: Nursing shortages and rising clinical burnout are accelerating adoption of automated RPM dashboards that surface only high-risk alerts.

- Cellular-Connected Device Availability: Devices with built-in cellular connectivity are simplifying patient onboarding and removing home network setup barriers.

Challenges Facing the Remote Patient Monitoring Market

Despite strong growth, RPM adoption continues to face real operational friction. Data protection, cybersecurity, and secure transmission of patient information remain critical concerns for healthcare facilities relying on cloud-based monitoring platforms, and integrating RPM systems with existing hospital IT and electronic health record workflows continues to pose implementation challenges. Patient adherence to monitoring programs, particularly among older adults, remains inconsistent, and device interoperability across multiple vendors adds further complexity.

Billing oversight is emerging as a growing concern as well — the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Inspector General has intensified scrutiny of RPM-related billing amid rising incidence of fraudulent claims. Alert fatigue is another persistent issue: as RPM systems scale to larger patient populations, clinical staff can be overwhelmed by high volumes of critical, non-critical, and redundant alerts, undermining the efficiency gains the technology is meant to deliver.

Recent Strategic Developments in the Remote Patient Monitoring Market

In May 2026, Koninklijke Philips N.V., together with Cuviva AB and Vingmed AB, was selected by Region Stockholm to deploy a large-scale hospital-at-home remote patient monitoring program supporting continuous virtual care for up to 15,000 patients annually.

In February 2026, Abbott Laboratories received U.S. FDA approval for its next-generation CardioMEMS HERO remote heart failure monitoring reader, adding improved portability and integrated cellular connectivity for real-time pulmonary artery pressure monitoring.

Also in February 2026, Oracle Corporation launched the Oracle Health Device Validation Program to standardize medical device integration across healthcare systems, partnering with Bio IntelliSense and Baxter International to enable secure, scalable remote monitoring connectivity.

In October 2025, OMRON Healthcare acquired the Heartnote long-term Holter ECG analysis business from JSR Corporation, strengthening its remote cardiac monitoring capabilities across homecare and clinical settings in Japan.

These moves point to an industry investing heavily in cardiac monitoring specifically, alongside a parallel push to standardize device interoperability across healthcare IT systems — addressing one of the sector's most persistent operational bottlenecks.

Key Insights from Remote Patient Monitoring Market Analysis
