B. Joseph Pine II, author of The Experience Economy and the new book The Transformation Economy, will anchor discussions on a profound economic shift underway: memorable experiences are no longer enough; consumers are clamoring to become better versions of themselves. The future winners in wellness will create transformational offerings, and Pine will present the roadmap to get there.

MIAMI, Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Global Wellness Summit™ (GWS), the foremost gathering of leaders in the global wellness economy, takes place November 10–13 at Angsana Laguna Phuket in Thailand. The 20th-anniversary event will celebrate the staggering evolution of wellness over these last two decades while bringing together leading thinkers to identify the most powerful ideas and opportunities that will shape the industry's next 20 years.

The conference will tackle a fundamental shift now emerging. Goods and services—even memorable experiences—are no longer enough to attract and retain customers. People seek true transformation: eager to change, reach their aspirations and become better versions of themselves. Leading this discussion will be Joe Pine, bestselling author, speaker, co-founder of thinking studio Strategic Horizons and management advisor to Fortune 500 companies and startups alike. In 1999, Pine and his partner James H. Gilmore introduced the vastly influential "experience economy" framework in their bestselling book of the same name, identifying a major shift beyond mere goods and services toward memorable experiences.

Now Pine sees a new consumer revolution unfolding, as laid out in his new book, The Transformation Economy: Guiding Customers to Achieve Their Aspirations. Memorable experiences are no longer enough, as a new economy emerges around transformative experiences that guide people to change and help them become who they want to be. People pursue transformation across four fundamental aspirations: improving health and wellbeing, increasing prosperity, developing knowledge and wisdom, and finding purpose. It's good news for the wellness industry as it puts it in the pole position of the future economy. But many wellness businesses, despite throwing around the word "transformation" for years, still only deliver commoditized, undifferentiated goods, services and experiences, and struggle to effect lasting change. They're still not delivering true transformation.

In a prerecorded keynote conversation with Susie Ellis, GWS chair and CEO, Pine will unpack what the new "transformation economy" specifically means for wellness businesses, while giving them a practical, proven framework to design, create and guide transformative offerings that match their customers' aspirations and help them achieve meaningful, long-term change. He will explain how the future is not about selling a means to an end, but the end result itself—and how the transformation process relies on three key phases: diagnosis, encapsulated experiences and follow-through.

"We're thrilled to have Joe, who co-wrote the book on the experience—and now the transformation—economy share with delegates why shifting to a transformation paradigm will be a game changer for the wellness industry," said Susie Ellis. "He has worked with so many diverse companies to develop and apply a practical framework. And every health and wellness organization—whether in wellness tourism, medical and longevity, beauty, fitness, spa or real estate—will grasp what this shift really means and how to create offerings that deliver a major competitive advantage, with a strategy they can start implementing the minute they get home."

"The wellness industry is uniquely positioned to lead in the transformation economy because its very purpose is helping people become healthier, fitter and more fully themselves," said Pine. "But simply calling an experience 'transformative' does not make it so—and the real opportunity is not simply to offer more services or even better experiences. It's to design the entire business around each customer's desired transformation—from diagnosing aspirations and staging the right experiences to supporting customers afterward. When the customer is the product, the business model fundamentally changes. I look forward to showing wellness organizations how they can intentionally guide people toward meaningful, lasting change—and compete on the progress they help their customers achieve."

"These initial drill results from the Mineral Point open pit drill program are very encouraging. Initial step-out drilling to the east demonstrates potential to expand the existing mineralized footprint while the infill drill results are in line with expectations," stated Tyler Hill, VP Geology. "We continue to see deep oxidation consistent with our geological model and the initial step-out results suggest potential to extend mineralization by approximately one kilometer along strike and 300 meters in width. Overall drilling productivity has continually improved since the initiation of the campaign in April this year through the arrival of additional drill rigs over the past several months. Ongoing infill drilling, metallurgical, and geotechnical work is advancing in parallel in support of a planned pre-feasibility study targeted for mid-2027, continuing to support our view that Mineral Point has the potential to become i-80 Gold's largest producing asset."

Overall, of the 35 initial holes reported, 19 holes were step-out holes outside of the existing mineral resource (see Table 1). All 19 step-out holes encountered mineralization, with over half of the assays reporting more than 100 meters of gold and silver intercepts. 15 step-out holes were drilled east of the known deposit, three holes to the north, and one to the west (iRH26-07) (see Figure 2 in Appendix). The area to the east of the known deposit, which demonstrates the most potential, was drilled sparsely by Homestake Mining Company ("Homestake") in the early 1990s as condemnation drilling for the Archimedes open pit heap leach pad. Although many of the Homestake drill holes confirmed mineralization, the depth of the mineralized intersections and gold price at the time did not support an economic case for further drilling. Early drilling during i-80 Gold's 2026 program has been focused on this area to determine if further drilling is warranted and thus far, initial results have been positive. The mineral resource supporting the 2025 PEA was constrained by a pit-shell using a base case metals price assumptions of $2,175 per ounce of gold and $26 per ounce of silver. Mineralization outside of this pit shell was not included in the 2025 PEA resource model, representing potential upside in a future resource estimate (see Figure 3 in Appendix). Additionally, the area to the east of the known deposit demonstrates similar geological characteristics and was constrained by a lack of drilling.

Table 1: Mineral Point Mineral Resource Estimate (effective December 31, 2025)

The Project is the larger of two oxide open pit projects in i-80 Gold's portfolio and currently extends for approximately 10,000 feet along a major anticlinal structure, with mineralization measuring approximately 3,000 feet wide and up to 900 feet thick. Mineralization consists of disseminated gold and silver primarily hosted in the Hamburg dolomite with oxidation pervasive to depths of 1,500 feet below surface. The deposit is near surface at its southern end and remains open to the east and at depth.

Following the Company's 2026 recapitalization of its balance sheet, a substantial surface drilling program commenced focused primarily on upgrading inferred mineral resources and collecting geotechnical, metallurgical and hydrogeological data to support project optimization and advancement for pre-feasibility level engineering studies. The initial results from the 35 drill holes are presented in Table 2 below.

The ongoing 2026/2027 resource expansion and infill drilling program is targeting approximately 130,000 meters of drilling over 300 drill holes. Approximately 30,000 meters of core and reverse circulation drilling was completed through the end of August using up to seven drill rigs, primarily for infill drilling of the current inferred resource areas and step-out holes beyond the current resource shell. The drill program initially progressed slower than planned due to availability of drill rigs, however, the overall drilling rate has since improved following the mobilization of additional rigs for a total of seven. Completion of the program is presently expected in the first quarter of 2027, although this may extend past this date pending assay results and the potential to delineate expanded areas of mineralization.

Results from the drilling program are expected to support a pre-feasibility study targeted for approximately mid-2027, pending timing of completion of the drilling program. Early-stage pre-permitting activities are also underway.

The 2026/2027 exploration spend is expected to total between $40 to $45 million for Mineral Point, in addition to approximately $5 million for technical and early-stage pre-permitting activities. These expenditures are expected to be funded through a portion of the proceeds from the Franco-Nevada Corporation royalty financing completed in March 2026, of which an initial $25 million was received and allocated to Mineral Point, and a second payment of $25 million is expected to become available for Mineral Point after the initial allocation is spent.

Given the scale and economic potential of Mineral Point, the Company continues to evaluate opportunities to optimize the sequencing of its gold projects to potentially advance the timing of Mineral Point within its development plan, which is currently within Phase 3.

CentralReach Launches ReportDraftAI to Cut the Manual Work Behind ABA Reports

New AI solution brings authorization, clinical and progress data into one review-ready draft, giving BCBAs more time to focus on clinical decision-making

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- CentralReach, a leading provider of autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) care software, today announced the general availability of ReportDraftAI, an AI-assisted product that streamlines reporting from initial draft through review and sign-off, bringing authorization, clinical and progress data already maintained in CentralReach into a structured, review-ready draft. By reducing the manual work of finding, transferring and assembling information, ReportDraftAI helps Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) spend more of their time on the clinical interpretation and decision-making only they can provide.

A Growing "Burden of Proof" in Autism and IDD Care

Providers in this field are no longer just expected to deliver quality care — they're expected to continuously prove it, through documentation and audits that keep pace with evolving regulations. That burden falls hardest on BCBAs: a 2025 study in Behavior Analysis in Practice found behavior analysts spend approximately 46% of their time on indirect, non-billable activities like reporting, data analysis and treatment plan development — nearly double the 25–30% that clinical guidelines recommend for that work. It's a leading driver of the burnout destabilizing the field, with 72% of ABA practitioners reporting medium-to-high burnout tied to documentation load.

Reauthorization reporting is a clear example of that burden. At least twice a year for every learner, BCBAs must bring together authorization information, clinical data, progress toward goals, assessments and other information to demonstrate medical necessity and ensure care can continue without disruption. Start to finish, the full process typically takes 9-12 hours, much of it in non-billable time. While clinical analysis and decision-making are essential BCBA work, finding information, transferring data and assembling the report are administrative tasks that consume valuable time.

From Data Aggregation to Report Completion

ReportDraftAI streamlines the reporting workflow from initial draft through review and sign-off, while keeping the BCBA in control of every clinical decision. The clinician selects the learner, report template and authorization or reporting period, and ReportDraftAI pulls available information already maintained in CentralReach into a structured, review-ready draft. Authorization, service, clinical, target-level and assessment information are brought together in one place, reducing the need to manually find, copy, and transfer data across the learner record.

From there, the clinician reviews the content, applies clinical interpretation, documents medical necessity, and adds recommendations. Built-in comments and review workflows support collaboration and revisions with peers, while signature functionality for BCBAs, supervisors, and caregivers helps move the report toward completion. Once finalized the report can be published directly from CentralReach.

"What excites me about ReportDraftAI is that it takes on the administrative work without taking away clinical autonomy. BCBAs should be spending their time on the clinical work only they can do, developing goals, supporting their teams and being present with their patients, said Emily Doak, Chief Compliance Officer at Bloomwell Autism Therapy. "ReportDraftAI gives clinicians a strong starting point, while the review and approval process ensures they remain firmly in control of the clinical decisions and final report."

Part of a Growing Suite of Clinical AI Products

ReportDraftAI is the latest addition to CentralReach's growing lineup of clinical AI tools built to address provider documentation burden end to end:

- NoteDraftAI, which drafts RBT session notes, has assisted more than 5.8 million session note summaries drafted to date, at a daily cadence of 37,000, with RBTs saving an average of 8 hours per week on session note writing.

- NoteGuardAI, which audits notes and claims against payer and regulatory requirements before submission, now audits 100,000 notes per day. In August 2026 alone, NoteGuardAI processed more than 3 million notes across over 400 organizations, catching failures that put $165 million in revenue at risk.

"Our focus is on ensuring that BCBAs are able to spend their time interpreting clinical data and making decisions about care, not copying information from one place to another," said Peter Boumenot, Chief Product Officer at CentralReach. "ReportDraftAI is designed to take on that administrative burden across the reporting workflow, from assembling information and creating a first draft through review and sign-off, while keeping the clinician firmly in control of the clinical interpretation, medical necessity and final report."

What's Next: VoiceDraftAI

CentralReach also announced that VoiceDraftAI, its next Clinical AI documentation product, has moved into beta. VoiceDraftAI's voice-to-structured-documentation capability is designed to give ABA and IDD clinicians back time spent on narrative documentation. Clinicians speak naturally, and VoiceDraftAI uses AI to identify, tag, and populate the relevant fields within the Learner's chart, turning dictation into compliant and structured records for incidents, supervision, and intake workflows. Like the rest of CentralReach's Clinical AI suite, VoiceDraftAI is human-in-the-loop, off by default and admin-controlled. Customers attending CR Unite 2026 (September 21-23, Boston) will get priority access to the expanding beta.

Circular Genomics and Altoida Announce Collaboration to Advance First-of-Kind Multimodal Precision Medicine for Alzheimer's Disease
Image File
Original HTML

Companies aim to combine blood-based circRNA biomarkers of disease biology and pathology with objective digital measures of cognition and function, to accelerate Alzheimer's drug development today and create a scalable frontline care tomorrow.

SAN DIEGO and WASHINGTON, Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Circular Genomics and Altoida today announced a collaboration combining Circular Genomics' blood-based circular RNA (circRNA) biomarker platform with Altoida's AI-powered Digital NeuroMarker™ platform. The alliance is designed to advance an integrated biology-and-function approach to Alzheimer's drug development and frontline healthcare by creating a first-of-kind, multimodal approach to improve early identification, patient stratification and longitudinal monitoring in Alzheimer's disease (AD).

The collaboration brings together two complementary technologies that measure distinct aspects of disease etiology: blood-based molecular signatures of neurodegeneration and disease progression and objective digital measures of cognitive function. Together, the companies intend to demonstrate a new frontline diagnostic paradigm that combines objective measures of digital cognitive function and disease biology.

The integrated approach is designed to create a scalable and efficient digital-first pathway that assesses cognitive function followed by a confirmatory disease biology and pathology blood test . This pathway fits naturally into routine clinical workflows, reduces reliance on specialist-based assessment, and enables earlier interventions when they can have the greatest impact. As part of the collaboration, the companies plan to conduct real-world evidence studies evaluating the combined workflow in clinical research and frontline care settings, with the first pilots expected to launch later this year.

As the Alzheimer's therapeutic landscape shifts toward earlier intervention, the ability to identify individuals at risk before irreversible neurodegeneration has occurred is becoming one of the defining challenges in healthcare. The arrival of disease targeting therapies is reshaping Alzheimer's care. Yet most patients are still diagnosed too late because current diagnostic pathways remain fragmented, specialist-dependent, and difficult to scale.

By combining molecular evidence of neurodegeneration with rapid and sensitive measures of functional change, the collaboration aims to generate evidence for a practical frontline workflow in which a 10-minute, self-administered objective cognitive function assessment can be completed before a circRNA blood biomarker testing is ordered to confirm disease biology. This approach is designed to help reduce reliance on subjective specialist-based neuropsychological batteries that can take hours, streamline referral and treatment decisions, expand specialist capacity, monitor treatment effectiveness more objectively, and extend access beyond specialty neurology and memory clinics and into primary care].

The announcement follows the publication of Circular Genomics' Nature Medicine study demonstrating that a blood-based circRNA signature predicts progression to symptomatic Alzheimer's disease years before clinical onset and provides information complementary to established amyloid and tau biomarkers. It also builds on Altoida's growing body of peer-reviewed research, including its recently published study in Alzheimer's and Dementia: Diagnosis, Assessment & Disease Monitoring (DADM) demonstrating that the Digital NeuroMarker Platform can accurately detect mild cognitive impairment though a brief self-administered digital assessment, and, when deployed before blood biomarker testing, complements molecular diagnostics while improving the overall performance of a scalable frontline Alzheimer's diagnostic workflow. Altoida is now preparing to initiate a pivotal study intended to support FDA clearance of the Digital NeuroMarker Platform for use across healthcare settings.

"The future of Alzheimer's detection and precision neurology will not be built around a single biomarker; but on combining complementary biological signals with cognitive function assessment. Our CircPath™ platform provides a fundamentally new window into the biology of neurodegeneration, and together with Altoida's digital phenotyping capabilities we believe we can help accelerate therapeutic development while moving the field toward more personalized care earlier in the disease process." Said Paul Sargeant, CEO Circular Genomics.

"Biology and function answer different but essential questions: which biological disease pathways are occurring and how are they affecting the individual patient in everyday life", said Marc Jones, CEO Altoida, "By studying them together, we aim to help drug developers enrich trials, stratify patients and measure change more precisely today, while generating the evidence required for a scalable frontline health care tomorrow."

Together, Circular Genomics and Altoida aim to establish a new multimodal model for precision neurology: improving Alzheimer's drug development today while enabling a future with a more scalable and efficient patient care path.

About Circular Genomics

Circular Genomics is the precision neurology leader pioneering circular RNA (circRNA) technology to develop next-generation molecular blood biomarker diagnostics. Leveraging the unique stability, brain enrichment, and biological relevance of circRNAs, the company is advancing a differentiated platform of blood-based tests designed to provide comprehensive, pathway-level insight into disease biology—with an initial focus on neurodegenerative disorders including Alzheimer's disease. The Protein That Delivers More

Wild Alaska Sole packs complete protein, omega-3s and other essential nutrients into one lean, versatile fish

SEATTLE, Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Protein is having a moment. The newest Dietary Guidelines for Americans just put whole foods and high-protein eating front and center, and shoppers are paying attention – not just to how much protein is on their plate, but where it comes from. Enter Wild Alaska Sole: a mild, versatile whitefish from the pristine waters of Alaska – often labeled as Wild Alaska Flounder in the U.S. It's a complete protein source, delivering 26g per 3.5-ounce serving, all in a low-calorie, low-fat package. Here's what makes it one of the smartest protein choices in the grocery store.

Whole Food, Complete Protein

When it comes to protein, it's not just about quantity. The source matters, too. As shoppers focus more on protein intake, whole food sources are getting more attention. Many high-protein products in stores rely on soy and vegetable isolates, while whole foods contain high-quality protein in its natural form, along with other naturally occurring nutrients. Wild Alaska Sole is one of those whole food sources of complete protein, meaning it contains all nine essential amino acids, which the body can only get from food. There's real value in choosing whole foods over processed alternatives, including supporting a healthy gut biome, boosting the immune system, and reducing the risk of chronic diseases.

"Twenty-six grams of complete protein, all nine essential amino acids, and nothing processed along the way. At a time when so many high-protein food products are highly processed, Wild Alaska Sole is proof that whole, wild-caught fish already does the job," said Pat Shanahan, executive director of the Wild Alaska Sole Association. "Most shoppers have never heard of Wild Alaska Sole, and that's exactly the gap we're working to close. This is a protein that's been quietly available in the freezer aisle for years, delivering more nutrition than most people expect. We want people to know it's there, ready to support their health goals."

Nutrition that Delivers

Beyond protein, Wild Alaska Sole delivers a dense, well-rounded nutrition profile in a single 3.5-ounce serving:

- 665 mg of omega-3s (EPA + DHA): Essential fatty acids for brain, heart and eye health.

- 11 mcg of vitamin B-12: Supports cellular energy production, DNA synthesis, and nervous system health.

- 32 mcg of selenium: Mineral that maintains thyroid function, bone health, and immune defense.

- 300 mg of potassium: Essential mineral that contributes to heart health by helping regulate blood pressure and reduce stroke risk.

- 212 mg of phosphorus: Key mineral essential for strong bones and teeth, kidney function, muscle contraction, and nerve signaling.

- 104 calories and 26g of protein: Wild Alaska Sole provides high protein value with fewer calories, when compared to more popular proteins like chicken or beef.

Healthy Habits on Hand

One of the secrets to sticking to healthy eating habits is making the healthy choice the easy choice. Wild Alaska Sole fillets (also sold as flounder in the U.S.) are high-value and widely available in the freezer section of most major grocery stores nationwide. The thin fillets thaw quickly – and can even be cooked frozen. Whether pan-seared, baked, poached, steamed, or air-fried, it's perfectly cooked in just 3-7 minutes. Wild Alaska Sole's simplicity and versatility make it easy to keep a nutritious, natural superfood on hand.

Celebrate the Season, Save at the Store

To celebrate National Seafood Month this October, many grocers across the country, including Publix and Giant Eagle, are offering great pricing on Wild Alaska Sole. It's a perfect time to enjoy the benefits of Wild Alaska Sole at an even more affordable price.

Chestnut Launches Chestnut Nature Works, a New Business to Help Communities and Critical Infrastructure Grow Together
Image File
Original HTML

Chestnut Nature Works builds upon Chestnut's broader platform, combining land expertise, community engagement, environmental stewardship, and project development to support the next generation of data center, energy, and industrial growth in the United States.

NEW YORK, Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Chestnut today announced the launch of Chestnut Nature Works (CNW), a new business that helps developers, hyperscalers, utilities, investors, and communities create the environmental and community foundations necessary to accelerate responsible growth at the local level. CNW is a natural expansion of Chestnut's industry-leading nature-based carbon removal business.

As data center development and industrial growth accelerate across the United States, projects face increasing scrutiny from local stakeholders. Concerns often center on water availability, environmental impacts, community trust, and whether promised economic benefits will materialize.

CNW was created to turn those concerns into lasting commitments that deliver measurable local benefits, including restored watersheds, protected land, local jobs, and community assets. This helps America's communities welcome growth while preserving what makes them unique.

Chestnut believes successful projects require more than engineering and capital. They require authentic local engagement, visible community benefits, long-term stewardship, and transparency every step of the way. CNW gives the companies building America's next chapter a way to strengthen the land, water, and communities their projects depend on.

"The U.S. built its economic leadership through transformative investments in railroads, electrification, highways, and digital networks," said Brian DiMarino, Chief Commercial & Operating Officer, Chestnut. "Today's AI economy requires a new generation of investment, not only in data centers and power infrastructure, but also in the communities and natural infrastructure that supports them. Chestnut Nature Works exists to help ensure growth creates lasting local value."

Leveraging Chestnut's experience acquiring, managing, restoring, and developing natural assets across the United States for its flagship forest carbon projects, CNW combines strategic advisory services with implementation capabilities to move projects from concept through execution. The platform's services include watershed restoration, water replenishment initiatives, forestry and conservation projects, ecological buffers, community recreation assets, workforce partnerships, and stakeholder engagement programs designed to create visible and measurable local benefits. Chestnut's proprietary land screening and monitoring technologies help accelerate project development and ongoing stewardship efforts.

Unlike traditional consulting firms, CNW is designed as an execution-oriented platform capable of originating, structuring, and implementing projects at scale. Its team combines expertise in land management, forestry, conservation, project finance, and economic development with a network of partners. Through relationships with organizations across energy, utilities, engineering, environmental services, and institutional investment, CNW brings the capabilities and credibility required to address community-level concerns on large-scale projects.

"Major infrastructure projects succeed when communities, developers, utilities, and local stakeholders work together from day one," said Ben Dell, CEO, Chestnut and Managing Partner, Kimmeridge. "Our role is to help bring those groups together and deliver tangible outcomes that create value for everyone involved."

About Chestnut

Chestnut builds and manages natural infrastructure across the United States, restoring forests, watersheds, and working lands that deliver lasting ecological and economic benefits alongside verified carbon removal. Founded in 2022, the company combines land acquisition, project finance, forestry, and carbon market expertise to develop and operate projects at scale. The Capacity Gap: How Paid Services Became Part of the Modern Support System
Image File
Original HTML

CALGARY, AB, Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The village isn't gone. It's just really busy.

That's one of the key findings from Cashew's latest study, The Capacity Gap, which surveyed 2,002 adults across the U.S. and Canada.

The research reveals a tension at the heart of modern life: people still have family, friends and communities they can rely on, but increasingly lack the time, energy and capacity to turn that support into action. As a result, paid services are becoming part of the modern support system.

"People have always relied on one another, but the economics of time have changed," said Addy Graves, CEO of Cashew. "Convenience isn't just about getting something faster or easier. It's about creating capacity for caregiving, relationships, work and the things people can't outsource."

The support is there. The capacity isn't.

Consumers continue to report strong connections to the people around them. Seventy percent say they have a good emotional support system, while 67% say they feel connected to a community.

But that support doesn't always translate into practical help. Among adults under 45, 41% say paid services now handle things that family and friends once did, compared with 18% of adults aged 62–80.

Convenience is becoming a way to protect capacity

For many consumers, paying for help is about deciding where their limited time and energy matter most. By outsourcing everyday tasks, people can preserve capacity for the priorities they consider harder to replace.

That reframes convenience. It's no longer simply about saving time. It's about what that saved capacity makes possible.

Caregivers are feeling the gap most

The capacity gap is particularly visible among caregivers. Nearly two-thirds say they will pay for faster delivery when the person they care for needs something, even while cutting back on their own dining, entertainment and travel.

One-third say they have taken on debt to cover caregiving services, rising to 41% among caregivers aged 18–29.

For caregivers, paid services can move from convenience to necessity, helping them manage competing demands when there is simply too much to do.

What this means for brands

The opportunity is bigger than selling convenience. Brands can play a new role in the support system: creating capacity. The most relevant brands will understand what people want to keep doing themselves and help create the capacity to do it.
