ATLANTA – November 03, 2026 -- Cerbo has extended its native AI Scribe to virtual visits at no additional cost for users of Cerbo Telemedicine or the Zoom integration, three months after the tool launched in the exam room.
AI Scribe now captures Telemedicine and Zoom visits and drafts the note inside the chart
The electronic health record (EHR) platform for cash-pay, personalized-care practices said AI Scribe listens to the conversation on virtual visits and drafts a structured note in the Cerbo chart. The provider reviews, edits and signs the note, and nothing commits to the patient record without that sign-off.
AI Scribe launched in August as a scribe built into the EHR, with no separate login, dictation app or copy-and-paste between systems. Virtual visit support is available to Cerbo customers now under Settings > AI Scribe.
Cerbo targets evening charting backlog for independent practitioners
Cerbo says telehealth days carry the same documentation burden as in-person days. Providers often call the evening catch-up work "pajama time." The company aims to remove that backlog so a full telehealth schedule does not follow a provider home.
Nishant Phadnis, Chief Product Officer at Cerbo, said, "Telehealth was a natural next step."
Same workflow and HIPAA-compliant infrastructure across in-person and virtual care
Cerbo lists the following practice-level benefits:
- AI Scribe works the same way in person and on video, inside one chart, with no separate app or outside workflow.
- Providers can keep attention on the patient rather than on a second tab or keyboard.
- The tool runs within Cerbo's existing HIPAA-compliant infrastructure.
Cerbo says virtual visit notes match the comprehensive notes AI Scribe already captures in person.
