Torrance, Calif. – November 02, 2026 -- Neros has secured a $450M conditional loan commitment from the Office of Strategic Capital (OSC) to fund vertically integrated manufacturing of multiple drone platforms and the critical components that go into them. Neros is committing $165M of its own equity alongside the loan, bringing the total project size to $615M.
Neros targets one million drones per year by 2028
The company says the capital puts it on the path to that output level within two years of the announcement. Production is planned across long-range strike, close-quarters combat and interceptor capabilities.
In-house component manufacturing anchors the supply chain plan
The funding covers component production alongside drone assembly. CEO and Co-Founder Soren Monroe-Anderson said the commitment supports U.S. manufacturing and the "onshoring the supply chains and components we'll rely on during extended conflicts."
Neros ties scale to mass-manufacturable design
Neros argues that sustaining production requires drones designed specifically for mass manufacturing and production lines built around those designs. It also points to the need for large, predictable inflows of materials and components to hold high production rates.
The OSC commitment remains conditional.
