New data from the destination marketplace and tour operator The Tour Guy shows day trip bookings up 110.7% year over year, as travelers are adapting to crowded popular destinations by getting out of the city

ROME, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- As the travel industry approaches World Tourism Day on 27th September, the trend of the day trips emerges as clearly as ever. A recent survey by the destination marketplace and tour operator The Tour Guy found that 85.4% of travelers opt for day trips when visiting a destination. They move beyond the Colosseum, the Louvre, or the Uffizi to explore what lies just outside city limits. The finding lines up with booking data. Day trips on The Tour Guy platform are up 110.7% year over year in 2026. The pattern is clear: tourists are adapting to crowded popular destinations by getting out of the city.

64.9% of respondents declare they like day trips because they're curious to see the countryside, seaside, and natural landscapes beyond the city borders. On the other hand, 53.4% of respondents already know a precise attraction outside the city and want to visit that specifically. A very limited number of travelers – 8.5% - simply want to take a break from visiting a city.

People search for innovation, as one in every four day trips sold this year comes from new experiences that weren't available in 2025. None of them are new destinations, though. They are new ways of experiencing places travelers already knew. One of them is the new archaeologist tour in Pompeii, a widely known destination for international travelers. It gives a twist to the traditional visit by pairing the ruins with the geology of Mt. Vesuvius, guided by an archaeologist and a volcanologist. In the Italian region of Chianti, a tour once folded into a broader Tuscany itinerary is now dedicated entirely to wineries. Same destinations, sharper focus.

The pattern of looking for new experiences in recognizable destinations is consistent. The three fastest-growing day trips are also among the most recognizable names. The trip to Sintra from Lisbon and the visit to the Tuscany villages from Rome, for instance, have registered a quadruple-digit growth in bookings. The trip to Mont-Saint-Michel from Paris follows closely as the third fastest growing day trip. While familiarity earns the first click, the experience itself is what drives people's decisions.

"Ahead of World Tourism Day, travelers are telling us something very clearly: tourism doesn't end at the city gates." declares Sean Finelli, CEO and Co-Founder of The Tour Guy. "Day trips represent a huge opportunity for the whole travel industry, as they allow to create new experiences starting from what people already know. Recognition and innovation represent the magic formula to make travelers book."

Millions of travelers will land in Europe on this World Tourism Day. What The Tour Guy's numbers suggest is that their next big destination might already be on the map, just waiting for someone to look at it differently.

Methodology

The 85% figure is drawn from a survey conducted among travelers who visited Europe in the past 12 months, fielded by The Tour Guy between 7th and 14th September 2026. Booking figures referenced in this release cover January 1 to September 15, 2026, compared to the same period in 2025 (STLY). Across both the survey and the booking data, a day trip is defined as a guided tour departing from a major European city to a destination reachable in the timespan of a single day.

Janie and Jack Closes Out New York Fashion Week With Its First-Ever Fashion Show

The American childrenswear house made its runway debut at The Crosby Street Hotel, presenting its Fall Collection and Louise Roe Edit in a celebration of American and British style.

NEW YORK, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Janie and Jack closed out New York Fashion Week with its first-ever fashion show on Saturday, September 19, at The Crosby Street Hotel in New York City. The runway debut brought the brand's Fall Collection to life alongside The Louise Roe Edit, a 12-look curation by British fashion journalist, entrepreneur and mother Louise Roe.

Inspired by American heritage and the English countryside, children took center stage in an elevated presentation featuring tailored suiting, statement dresses, heritage plaids, cable knits and outerwear. The show reflected Janie and Jack's evolving point of view on family style, bringing together its classic American roots with British influences as the brand continues to build its presence in London.

The milestone marks a new chapter for Janie and Jack, putting fashion and style at the center while building on more than two decades of dressing families for their most memorable moments.

"Our first fashion show marks an exciting new chapter for Janie and Jack," said Alison Stiefel, Chief Marketing Officer of Janie and Jack. "We have an incredible heritage in childrenswear, and we're building on that by putting an even stronger point of view on style at the center of the brand. With our expansion into London and Louise's British perspective, this was the perfect moment to bring those two worlds together and show Janie and Jack in a new way."

At the center of the presentation was The Louise Roe Edit, featuring 12 fall looks—eight girls' and four boys'—curated by Roe. The edit pairs the romance of English country dressing with Janie and Jack's classic American style through florals, heritage plaids, gingham, cable knits, tailored pieces and timeless outerwear.

For Roe, the partnership is also deeply personal. She brought her eldest daughter home from the hospital dressed in Janie and Jack, beginning a connection with the brand that has continued as her family has grown. Her selections reflect the pieces she gravitates toward for her own family, from countryside weekends and first days of school to celebrations and styles meant to be passed down.

The fashion experience extended beyond the runway with an English garden-inspired setting and interactive experiences for families, including flower pressing, bouquet making and tote coloring. Together, the runway and family experiences brought the Janie and Jack world to life, connecting fashion with the moments families share together.

The runway debut follows a period of growth for Janie and Jack, including its expansion into the UK earlier this year with its first London store in Chelsea, new fashion partnerships and experiences designed to connect with families beyond the product. Together, these initiatives signal the brand's next chapter as a destination for family style, fashion and memorable experiences.

The Janie and Jack Fall Collection and The Louise Roe Edit are available now at JanieandJack.com and in select Janie and Jack stores.

Growing numbers of clinical trials of therapies such as Tideglusib (AMO-02; AMO Pharma), Delpacibart etedesiran (formerly AOC-1001; Novartis/Avidity Biosciences), NaMuscla (mexiletine; Lupin), Zeleciment basivarsen (z-basivarsen; Dyne Therapeutics), and others are strengthening the pipeline.

Aparna Thakur, Project Manager of Forecasting & Analytics at DelveInsight, said that if upcoming candidates demonstrate durable functional benefits, treatment adoption, diagnosis rates, and payer willingness to reimburse premium therapies are likely to increase, supporting long-term market growth.

Myotonic Dystrophy Market Analysis

- Currently, there are no approved therapies capable of curing myotonic dystrophy (DM) or slowing its underlying disease progression.

- Consequently, treatment primarily focuses on symptomatic management to alleviate disease burden and improve patients' quality of life.

- Among the various manifestations of DM, myotonia is one of the most commonly treated symptoms.

- Antimyotonic agents, including mexiletine, lamotrigine, carbamazepine, oxcarbazepine, flecainide, propafenone, phenytoin, and ranolazine, may be used for symptom management, although these therapies are prescribed off-label.

- The pharmacological management of chronic muscle pain generally follows a stepwise approach based on the WHO analgesic ladder, adapted for chronic non-cancer pain.

- Treatment commonly begins with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), with adjunctive therapies introduced as required. These may include anticonvulsants, antidepressants, muscle relaxants, and topical treatments such as lidocaine or capsaicin patches.

- The myotonic dystrophy pipeline includes emerging therapies such as AMO-02 from AMO Pharma, mexiletine from Lupin, and delpacibart etedesiran (del-desiran) from Novartis and Avidity Biosciences.

- In addition, preclinical development includes RNA-targeted small-molecule (rSM) candidates, such as the program being developed by Arrakis Therapeutics.

Myotonic Dystrophy Competitive Landscape

Some of the myotonic dystrophy drugs under development include Tideglusib (AMO-02; AMO Pharma), Delpacibart etedesiran (formerly AOC-1001; Novartis/Avidity Biosciences), NaMuscla (mexiletine; Lupin), Zeleciment basivarsen (z-basivarsen; Dyne Therapeutics), PGN-EDODM1 (PepGen), VX-670 (Vertex Pharmaceuticals), SRP-1003 (Sarepta Therapeutics), ATX-01 (ARTHEx Biotech), JUV-161 (Juvena Therapeutics), MDL-202 (Modalis Therapeutics), and others.

AMO Pharma's AMO-02 is an orally administered small-molecule inhibitor of glycogen synthase kinase 3β (GSK3β) being developed for the treatment of congenital myotonic dystrophy. Preclinical and clinical studies have indicated its potential to restore GSK3β levels and reduce pathogenic mRNA associated with myotonic dystrophy type 1 (DM1). The therapy has received several regulatory designations from the US FDA, including Orphan Drug Designation (ODD), Fast Track Designation (FTD), and Rare Pediatric Disease (RPD) designation.

Del-desiran, Novartis/Avidity's lead Antibody Oligonucleotide Conjugate (AOC), is designed to address the underlying molecular cause of myotonic dystrophy type 1 by reducing disease-associated DMPK mRNA. The therapy consists of a TfR1-targeting monoclonal antibody conjugated to a small interfering RNA (siRNA). It has received Breakthrough Therapy Designation (BTD), Fast Track Designation (FTD), and Orphan Drug Designation (ODD) from the US FDA, as well as orphan designation in the European Union, underscoring its potential as a treatment for DM1.

The anticipated launch of these emerging therapies are poised to transform the myotonic dystrophy market landscape in the coming years. As these cutting-edge therapies continue to mature and gain regulatory approval, they are expected to reshape the myotonic dystrophy market landscape, offering new standards of care and unlocking opportunities for medical innovation and economic growth.

Bloomberg Law Survey Finds Nearly Half of Attorneys Report Worsening Well-Being

New report examines the impact of work-related pressures, gaps in support, and the disproportionate effects on women attorneys

ARLINGTON, Va., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Nearly half of attorneys say their overall well-being has worsened since the beginning of 2025, according to a new survey from Bloomberg Law.

Based on responses from more than 1,100 legal professionals, primarily attorneys at all levels within law firms, the survey found that more than half have experienced disrupted sleep, anxiety, worsened mood, and a reduced ability to focus that they attributed to work-related issues. Attorneys who said their well-being had significantly worsened since the beginning of 2025 reported higher rates of nearly every well-being issue measured, including anxiety, depression, and disrupted sleep.

The report also identifies notable differences in the experiences of women and men. Although women and men were equally likely to be caregivers overall, women were more likely to have made career choices they otherwise would not have made because of caregiving responsibilities. They were also more likely to care for parents.

"This survey shows that work-related stress is taking a real toll on attorneys, particularly women," said Cesca Antonelli, editor-in-chief, Bloomberg Industry Group. "The findings give legal employers clear data to assess whether the support they provide is meeting the needs of their workforce."

While many employers offer resources intended to address these challenges, half of respondents said they do not take advantage of well-being support when it is available through their workplace. Among attorneys who participated in professional or executive coaching programs, three in four said they found them valuable.

Insurance Expert Burak Kaya Explains Life Insurance Planning in Stamford, Connecticut, in HelloNation
Image File
Original HTML

The article outlines how families can determine appropriate life insurance coverage based on income, debts, future expenses, and financial goals.

STAMFORD, Conn., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- How much life insurance does a family really need in Stamford, Connecticut? In a HelloNation article, Burak Kaya of The Wright Agency shares insights to help families calculate the right coverage amount and avoid financial shortfalls during life's most difficult moments.

The HelloNation article explains that life insurance provides critical protection by replacing lost income, covering outstanding debts, and supporting long-term goals such as college tuition and retirement savings. Determining the right policy amount depends on factors like household income, number of dependents, debts, and future expenses. A customized approach ensures that family life insurance offers meaningful protection without unnecessary cost.

A common guideline is to calculate enough coverage to replace several years of household income. The article notes that if a primary earner passes away unexpectedly, life insurance can help maintain the family's standard of living during the adjustment period. For a two-parent household with young children, the amount of coverage often needs to cover essentials like the mortgage, childcare, utilities, and food for multiple years.

Outstanding debts also play a major role in determining coverage. The article explains that families should consider mortgages, car loans, credit card balances, and personal loans when calculating how much life insurance they need. Including these obligations can help reduce the financial burden on surviving family members.

Future expenses must also be considered in the coverage calculation. The article points to college tuition, healthcare, and retirement planning as common long-term goals. In Stamford, CT, where education costs and local activity fees may exceed national averages, families may also need to include private school tuition, extracurricular programs, and seasonal childcare when determining their coverage amount.

The HelloNation article describes how the type of life insurance policy also impacts both coverage and cost. Term life insurance offers protection for a set period, often aligned with mortgage terms or child dependency years. Whole life insurance provides lifelong coverage and includes a cash value component, but comes with higher premiums. Universal life insurance allows flexibility and includes an investment element. Choosing the right type of policy depends on each family's financial goals, budget, and long-term planning needs.

Household assets, savings, and emergency funds also influence how much life insurance is appropriate. The article explains that families with significant savings may not require as much coverage, while households with fewer resources may need a larger policy to ensure stability. Fishman Public Relations Ranked No. 1 Franchise PR Agency for Ninth Consecutive Year in Entrepreneur Magazine
Image File
Original HTML

This marks the ninth consecutive year Fishman PR has achieved No. 1 franchise PR firm spot in Entrepreneur's Top Franchise Suppliers ranking, which is based on an annual survey of franchisors, from emerging brands to some of the oldest in the industry. This year, more than 1,000 franchise brands participated, reporting to Entrepreneur which suppliers they and their franchisees work with and rating their satisfaction with those suppliers' services in the areas of quality, cost, and value. Each supplier received a score based on the survey results, and the top-scoring suppliers are ranked within their respective categories.

"Being recognized as the top franchise PR agency for nine years running is something we never take for granted," said Sherri Fishman, founder and Chief Visionary Officer of Fishman PR. "Over the years, we've been fortunate to work with brands that lean in, believe in our people and process, and know the power of a well-told story." Fishman PR CEO Brad Fishman says the firm's formula is simple: "Everything goes back to two things - doing great work and building meaningful relationships."

Since its founding in 1991, Fishman PR has been at the forefront of helping franchisors share their stories, sell franchises, and attract customers. Today, the agency continues to set high standards for the industry, delivering bold, integrated campaigns that combine:

- Franchise opportunity PR and consumer brand awareness through strategic media outreach and storytelling at the national and local levels

- Customized Grand Opening PR packages for franchisees

- Content marketing, SEO, and GEO that fuels franchise development lead generation and keeps brands visible in AI-driven searches (AI Visibility Management)

- Digital marketing, paid media, and influencer strategies to reach relevant audiences

- Crisis communications and PR campaigns that protect and strengthen brands' reputations at every stage

"The strength of a franchise system often comes down to the partners standing behind it," says Jason Feifer, Entrepreneur magazine's editor in chief. "That's why we survey more than 1,000 franchisors to find out which suppliers they trust most. This is a critical business decision, and every franchise should get it right."

In addition to the Entrepreneur ranking honor, Fishman PR this year also successfully passed the rigorous peer review process by the Worldcom Public Relations Group, the world's leading partnership of independently owned public relations firms, with 110 offices employing some 2,000 across 45 countries and six continents. The peer review evaluation recognized Fishman PR's excellence in service delivery, client satisfaction, business and agency management operations, with strong marks across the three categories assessed on strategic approach, client satisfaction, and Worldcom partner performance.

"As a PR firm, we work hard every day to help our clients achieve third-party validation for their brands and franchise opportunities. That's why receiving high scores from franchisors in the Entrepreneur ranking, as well as from our PR industry peers in Worldcom, is especially meaningful," said Debra Vilchis, President & COO of Fishman PR.

That sentiment was echoed by the agency's Chief Growth Officer, Zack Fishman. "Being regularly evaluated by clients and peers holds us accountable, and pushes the entire PR profession forward," he said.

In HelloNation, Oilfield Operations Expert Lydia Cogburn Explains Why Well Depth Matters for Oilfield Service Operations
Image File
Original HTML

The article examines how well depth influences equipment requirements, maintenance planning, and safety procedures in Wyoming oilfields.

GILLETTE, Wyo., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Why does well depth play such an important role in oilfield service operations? The answer is explored in a HelloNation article featuring insights from Lydia Cogburn of True Grit in Gillette, Wyoming.

The HelloNation article explains that well depth directly affects how oil wells are maintained and serviced, particularly in Wyoming oilfields, where wells often extend thousands of feet below the surface. Deeper wells require stronger equipment, careful planning, and experienced crews to ensure safe and efficient operations. Understanding these factors allows operators to maintain steady oil production while protecting equipment and personnel.

According to the article, an oilfield service rig plays a central role in maintaining deep wells. These rigs are designed to lift and repair tubing, pumps, and other components located far below the surface. Because deep wells place greater stress on equipment, service rigs must be built with strong lifting systems and precise controls to handle heavy loads safely.

The article notes that well depth also influences the type of tubing and pumping equipment used in oilfield operations. Deeper wells create higher pressure conditions and require heavier tubing to support production. Pumps must also be capable of lifting oil from extreme depths, making equipment selection an essential part of maintaining consistent oil production.

Tubing replacement is one of the most common maintenance tasks affected by well depth. Over time, tubing can corrode, crack, or become blocked, which restricts the flow of oil. The article explains that performing tubing replacement in deep wells requires specialized equipment capable of lifting long, heavy tubing strings safely. Crews must also ensure that new tubing is installed correctly to prevent leaks or pressure problems that could reduce efficiency.

Pump repair is another critical aspect of servicing deep wells. Pumps operate continuously to move oil from underground reservoirs to the surface. When these systems begin to wear down, pump repair or replacement becomes necessary to restore oil production. The article describes how technicians carefully inspect pumps during maintenance operations and address any signs of mechanical damage or fatigue.

Debris removal within the wellbore is also influenced by well depth. Over time, sand, scale, and other materials can accumulate and restrict oil flow. In deep wells, clearing these blockages requires longer tools and precise handling to prevent damage to the well structure. The article explains that effective wellbore cleaning helps maintain steady oil production while protecting pumps and valves from excessive strain.

Safety becomes increasingly important as wells reach greater depths. The article emphasizes that high pressure, heavy equipment, and extended rig operations create additional challenges for oilfield crews. Strict safety protocols help ensure that maintenance procedures are performed without accidents or costly disruptions to oil production.

Planning and coordination are also essential when working with deep wells. The article notes that servicing deeper wells often takes more time because equipment must be lifted from thousands of feet below the surface. Operators rely on monitoring systems and production data to determine when maintenance is needed and to plan operations efficiently.

Experienced technicians play a vital role in successful oilfield operations. Servicing deep wells requires mechanical knowledge, careful coordination, and attention to detail. Skilled crews ensure that tubing replacement, pump repair, and other maintenance tasks are completed safely while supporting consistent oil production in Wyoming oilfields.

Equipment design is another factor highlighted in the article. Modern oilfield service rig systems are engineered to handle extreme loads and operate reliably during long maintenance procedures. Advances in rig technology help crews manage deep wells more efficiently while reducing the risk of equipment failures.

The article concludes that understanding well depth is essential for maintaining productive wells. By combining specialized equipment, trained crews, and careful planning, operators can continue supporting reliable oil production even as wells reach significant depths in Wyoming oilfields.

Why Well Depth Matters for Oilfield Service Operations features insights from Lydia Cogburn, Oilfield Operations Expert of Gillette, Wyoming, in HelloNation.

From Raw Material Exports to Global Branding, Cashmere Deepens China-Italy Industry Cooperation

MILAN and SHANGHAI, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- On September 22, 2026, the "Oriental Cashmere Radiance: Milan Moment" 2026 Yulin Cashmere Promotion Event was successfully held at the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan, Italy. More than 100 guests from China and Italy, including government and business representatives, industry leaders and media representatives, attended the event.

The event featured two key sessions: B2B business matchmaking and an industry brand showcase. It highlighted Yulin's cashmere industry development and brand capabilities across the entire value chain, supporting the transition from raw material exports to global brand expansion. During the matchmaking session, leading Italian buyers and fashion brand purchasers held in-depth discussions with the heads of Yulin cashmere companies and identified multiple cooperation opportunities.

At the brand showcase, Francesco Vassallo, Vice Mayor of the Metropolitan City of Milan; Zhang Chenggang, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Milan; and Mr. Mario Boselli, President of the Italy China Council Foundation and Honorary President of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, delivered remarks, sending a positive signal for deeper cooperation between China and Italy in the fashion industry.

Yulin, China, is an important global origin of high-quality ecological cashmere and China's largest R&D and manufacturing base for wool cold-weather apparel. It has established a complete cashmere industry value chain. Looking ahead, Yulin will continue to deepen international industrial cooperation and bring the warmth and radiance of Yulin cashmere to the global stage.

Four representative Yulin companies—Yingguo Industry, Shaanxi Tuocheng Cashmere Industry Technology, Yulin Yanglaoda and HBEH—took the stage in succession to present their brands, showcasing premium cashmere apparel and full-chain manufacturing capabilities. They also signed Brand Market Entry Cooperation Agreements with two Italian buying companies, Casile & Casile and IWC, marking the establishment of direct cooperation between Yulin cashmere brands and Europe's high-end buying and retail networks.

Following the event, the four Yulin companies jointly held a brand launch, with cashmere garments making their appearance in succession. Italian singer of Chinese heritage Nie Hongmei performed classic Italian songs and folk songs from northern Shaanxi, accompanied by northern Shaanxi yangko dancing. The cultural presentation received widespread acclaim from guests, industry professionals and media representatives.
