Company ships in-document protection that lets AI read a contract without seeing what is confidential inside it

NEW YORK, Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Cyphlens has been named a 2026 Gartner® Cool Vendor™ in "Coolest Vendor Innovations in Data Security report."

Asking AI to help with a document should not mean handing it every confidential detail inside.

You want AI to find the renewal deadline in a customer agreement. You do not want it reading the negotiated price.

Cyphlens encrypts the price inside that agreement while leaving the rest readable. AI can review the document and find the deadline, but sees a cipher where the price would be. Only an authorized person can reveal the protected information. Selected regions are replaced in place, so the file stays an ordinary Word or PDF with no encrypted container, and each region carries its own recipients. One document can disclose different things to different readers.

The capability is generally available today, applied through a Cyphlens skill for Claude.

Cyphlens also protects whole files, up to one terabyte, through the same control. Teams share them through the channels they already use. File content never touches Cyphlens servers, because CypherFile encrypts and decrypts on the sender's own devices. Senders keep control after sharing: revocation renders a copy permanently inaccessible wherever it traveled, because every open is checked before content is revealed.

"For years, security could largely assume that the person opening a document was the one reading it. That assumption no longer holds. We built Cyphlens so AI can work with the context it needs while sensitive information remains under human control," said Rocky Motwani, CEO of Cyphlens.

"As AI takes on more document-heavy workflows, security will increasingly center on granular access: what each reader, human or AI, is able to see," said Rob Keith, Partner at Salesforce Ventures. "Cyphlens is building that control layer, giving organizations governance over sensitive data even after a file leaves their hands."

AI gets the context it needs. People retain control over what becomes visible.

Bind AI Launches the AI Workforce for Insurance, Live With Hundreds of Agencies and Billions in Commercial Premium

Backed by $10 million in venture capital, Bind AI automates the entire process from quote to bind so insurance brokers can spend their time with clients

NEW YORK, Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Bind AI today announced its public launch as the AI workforce for insurance. The company, which is already live with hundreds of insurance agencies and touching billions of dollars in commercial premium, automates submission intake, quoting, proposals and binding on brokers' behalf. Bind AI has raised $10 million in funding from Bonfire Ventures and other leading VCs to date.

Agents and brokers sell roughly 90% of business insurance in the United States, yet spend only about 10% of their time with clients. The rest is lost to paperwork: rekeying submissions, chasing carriers for quotes, assembling proposals and processing binds. Bind AI does that work autonomously and delivers the outcome from quote to bind, saving agencies hundreds of hours per month.

Instead of being a standalone platform, Bind AI is the only solution in the market that integrates directly with where agents spend the most time: their inbox. Bind AI processes every inbound email and document, recognizes what needs to happen and does it before the agent even has to ask. Instead of requiring agents to change their behavior and learn a new portal, Bind AI simply sends them the completed work for their review.

"Agents and brokers didn't get into insurance to do data entry, but that's where their days go," said Tony Marshi, founder of Bind AI. "We built Bind AI to be the AI teammate that handles the work no one wants to do, so brokers can be in front of clients instead of behind a screen. The hundreds of agencies live on Bind AI today are proof that when you deliver outcomes instead of tools, brokers adopt fast."

In addition to email, Bind AI works directly inside the quoting portals where agents spend the majority of their days. Bind AI has already quoted hundreds of millions in premium across major carriers, helping agents win and retain millions in commercial business.

The $10 million in fundraising has contributed to Bind AI's rapid expansion across agencies and brokerages nationwide, along with the growth of its team in New York. Other investors include Ramp Co-Founder Karim Atiyeh and Draper Associates.

"Building AI-powered, service-as-software solutions to modernize legacy workflows in the insurance vertical is one of today's most exciting opportunities," said Jim Andelman, Bonfire Ventures Co-Founder and Managing Director. "Bind AI has already built impressive momentum and is poised to revolutionize this trillion-dollar market.

Bind AI is available today to insurance agencies and brokers. To learn more or request a demo, visit bind.ai.

About Bind AI

Bind AI is building the AI workforce for insurance, starting with agents and brokers. By integrating natively with agencies' email systems, Bind AI handles submission intake, quoting, proposals, servicing and binding, then delivers the finished work back to the agent. Headquartered in New York, Bind AI is live with hundreds of agencies representing billions in commercial premium and is backed by leading VCs. Learn more at bind.ai.

The demand for pet food ingredients is increasing across dry food, wet food, treats, supplements, and specialized diets, supported by growing pet humanization and increasing consumer focus on pet health, nutrition, wellness, and preventive care. In dry and wet pet food, ingredients such as animal proteins, plant proteins, fats and oils, grains, functional carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and fibers are used to provide balanced nutrition, while functional ingredients such as probiotics, prebiotics, enzymes, omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, and specialty proteins are increasingly incorporated to support digestive health, immunity, skin and coat health, healthy aging, and overall well-being. Demand for natural, clean-label, sustainably sourced, highly digestible, and functional ingredients is also increasing as pet owners seek greater transparency and nutritional benefits. At the same time, advances in fermentation, protein processing, algae cultivation, enzyme technology, stabilization, and formulation are enabling ingredient suppliers to develop more specialized, sustainable, and application-specific solutions, further expanding the use of innovative ingredients across the pet food industry.

By source, animal-based segment to exhibit fastest growth rate during forecast period.

Animal-based ingredients are expected to be the fastest-growing source segment in the pet food ingredients market during the forecast period, driven by the increasing shift toward premiumization, specialized nutrition, and biologically targeted formulations. Pet food manufacturers are increasingly incorporating animal-derived ingredients to differentiate products through higher meat inclusion, novel protein sources, functional animal ingredients, and species-specific formulations. The expansion of fresh, refrigerated, freeze-dried, air-dried, and minimally processed pet food is creating additional opportunities for meat, poultry, fish, egg, and other animal-derived ingredients. Growing interest in novel and alternative animal proteins, including insect and marine-based sources, is also broadening the ingredient base while addressing sustainability and supply-chain considerations. Furthermore, advances in processing and ingredient preservation are enabling suppliers to maintain nutritional quality and improve the functionality of animal-derived ingredients, supporting their adoption in premium foods, treats, and specialized diets.

By ingredient, vegetables & fruits segment to record highest CAGR during forecast period.

By ingredient, the vegetables & fruits segment is expected to witness the fastest growth in the pet food ingredients market during the forecast period, driven by increasing demand for natural, functional, and nutrient-rich ingredients in pet diets. Pet owners are increasingly seeking formulations that include recognizable whole-food ingredients, while vegetables and fruits provide dietary fiber, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other phytonutrients that can complement animal-based proteins and support digestive health and overall wellness. Their use is also increasing in premium, natural, fresh, and holistic pet food formulations, where ingredient transparency and clean-label positioning are important purchasing considerations. In addition, growing interest in functional nutrition is encouraging the incorporation of specific fruits and vegetables to support areas such as digestive health, immune function, and healthy aging, while improvements in ingredient processing and preservation are enabling manufacturers to incorporate these ingredients into dry food, wet food, treats, and specialized diets.

Investment Funding Context

Investment activity in the pet food ingredients market is supporting capacity expansion, manufacturing scale-up, and the development of next-generation nutritional solutions. In October 2023, ADM invested USD 33 million to establish a new pet food production line in Guadalajara, Jalisco, increasing its manufacturing capacity and supporting the expansion of its Ganador and Minino pet food brands. In November 2021, Petsource (US), a subsidiary of the Scoular Company (US), announced a USD 75 million investment to enhance its pet food ingredient portfolio and expand its production capacities. More recently, in April 2026, Symrise made a strategic equity investment in Bond Pet Foods to advance precision-fermentation technology for animal-identical proteins and accelerate the commercialization of sustainable ingredients for pet nutrition. These investments indicate increasing industry focus on expanding production capacity, improving processing capabilities, developing alternative and functional proteins, strengthening supply-chain resilience, and supporting sustainable pet food formulations.

Revenue Shift Context

The pet food ingredients market is shifting from conventional commodity ingredients toward higher value, functional, specialty, and differentiated ingredient solutions, supported by rising demand for premium, natural, clean label, sustainable, and nutritionally optimized pet food. Market spending is projected to increase from USD 41.55 billion in 2026 to USD 57.68 billion by 2031, at a CAGR of 6.8%, with growth increasingly driven by value-added ingredients such as meat & meat products, cereals, vegetables & fruits, fats, and additives that provide targeted benefits related to pet health, digestion, immunity, and overall well-being. This shift indicates that value growth is supported not only by increasing pet food consumption but also by premiumization, pet humanization, greater adoption of functional nutrition, and increasing use of differentiated and sustainably sourced ingredients at the ingredient level.

Mergers and Acquisitions

Key players have pursued acquisitions to strengthen their presence across the pet food ingredients value chain, expand ingredient portfolios, and enhance production and processing capabilities. In 2024, Darling Ingredients acquired Miropasz Group in Poland, strengthening its supply of animal-derived raw materials for proteins, meals, and pet food ingredients, while in 2023, the Scoular Company acquired Northwest Farm Food Cooperative's frozen fish processing plant to expand its capabilities in producing fish ingredients for pet food manufacturers. ADM acquired South Sunrays Milling Corporation in the Philippines, while Symrise acquired Wing Pet Food in China to strengthen their portfolio of pet food solutions.

MAHLE is also expanding the production area by around 10,000 m², supporting higher volume production of battery thermal management components.

- In December 2025, Webasto developed its Heated Chiller to combine battery cooling, battery heating, and cabin heating within a single thermal management unit. The system integrates the chiller, battery heater, and interior heater, reducing component count and simplifying thermal system integration. The architecture supports coordinated temperature control across the battery and cabin, enabling battery preconditioning for charging while also meeting cabin heating requirements. Webasto is positioning the Heated Chiller as a compact thermal management solution for electric vehicles, with the technology currently progressing toward production applications.

The BEV segment is expected to have the largest share in the global BTMS market.

BEVs are expected to be the fastest-growing vehicle type in the battery thermal management system market, as they account for more than 50% globally, supported by higher battery energy density, tighter cell temperature-control requirements, and greater integration of battery and vehicle thermal systems. Within passenger BEVs, NMC batteries require active thermal control as higher energy density and charging power increase heat generation and cell temperature variation, which supports liquid cooling, direct cell cooling, battery preconditioning, and active temperature control. OEMs and BTMS suppliers are focusing on integrated and actively controlled thermal architectures. For instance, the Mercedes AMG GT 4 Door Coupe uses direct cooling of cylindrical NCMA battery cells, with intelligent thermal management controlling cell temperature during high power operation, while Bosch provides intelligent battery temperature control and diagnostics for BEVs. These developments are increasing the need for optimized coolant distribution, low-thermal-resistance cooling structures, and coordinated thermal control across the battery, heat pump, HVAC, electric motor, and power electronics. High energy density batteries and higher charging power are therefore supporting demand for advanced active BTMS solutions, particularly for NMC-based passenger BEVs.

The cooling plates segment is projected to hold the highest value share in the global BTMS market.

The battery cooling plates segment is estimated to hold the highest value share in the battery thermal management system market, supported by their growing use in high-capacity battery packs where consistent temperature control is required across multiple modules. Commercial EVs require advanced cooling plates because their larger battery packs and sustained high-power operation generate higher thermal loads during vehicle operation and charging. OEMs are integrating cooling-plate-based liquid cooling into commercial EV battery architectures to support higher battery capacity and operating power. For instance, Scania uses liquid cooling with cooling channels or cooling plates integrated into or around battery modules in its electric trucks. Additionally, in January 2026, Volvo Group along with SAE stated that it was working on optimizing battery cooling plate design to improve heat transfer and coolant flow in electric vehicle battery thermal systems. The move toward higher capacity packs is also increasing the need for optimized coolant flow paths and larger effective cooling surfaces, while compact pack architectures are pushing suppliers to develop thinner plates with improved thermal contact. The increasing deployment of high-capacity batteries in commercial EVs is therefore driving the adoption of advanced cooling plate architectures and supporting their leading position in the BTMS component market.

Europe is set to experience significant growth in the global battery thermal management system market.

Europe is expected to account for a significant share of the battery thermal management system market, supported by the adoption of advanced thermal architectures across electrified vehicle platforms. In Europe, BEVs account for more than a 60% share in 2025, creating demand for BTMS. The growing use of BEVs and PHEVs in Europe is increasing demand for hybrid BTMS technology, as these systems combine liquid cooling, refrigerant cooling, and heating functions to manage different battery operating conditions. OEMs and BTMS suppliers are focusing on these requirements through integrated hybrid thermal architectures. For instance, MAHLE combines low-temperature and refrigerant circuits for battery and power electronics cooling, allowing different thermal loads to be managed within the same system. The growing use of high power charging is also increasing the need for coordinated battery preconditioning and cooling in Europe. The shift toward high-voltage, high-power EV platforms is therefore supporting adoption of the BTMS market in Europe.

EP YAYING Debuts SS27 Collection at MODE Shanghai Fashion Week

SHANGHAI, Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- EP YAYING will present its Spring/Summer 2027 collection at the 2027 Shanghai Fashion Week MODE trade show from October 8 to 12, 2026, at Booth F17-01, Tower T2, Jingyao Hongqiao, 688 Tianshan Road, Changning, Shanghai, marking the global buyer launch of its new season. As an international brand defined by high-end luxury positioning, EP YAYING anchors its MODE presentation around world-class materials, Chinese craftsmanship and cultural heritage, creating a buying space where international retailers can select, trace and order across materials, ateliers and full-scenario product lines.

For SS27, EP YAYING centers its material story on the "YAYING Three Treasures," reflecting the brand's deep commitment to natural materials and artisanal mastery. 6A-grade mulberry silk from the brand's organic sericulture base in Ningnan, Sichuan, is used for lightweight spring/summer silk apparel and textiles. Snowfield yak down continues the brand's supply-chain collaboration with Aba and Nagqu, using naturally collected fiber and low-dyeing processes for knitwear and light outerwear. Alashan "white-on-white" cashmere, at approximately 15.5 microns, is supported by a self-built ranch base and per-item QR traceability for premium knits and trans-seasonal pieces. Together, these three top-tier Chinese natural materials embody the brand's enduring commitment to making fine clothing with fine materials, upheld by generations of dedication and craftsmanship.

At the booth, EP YAYING will present five interconnected directions: the EP YAYING main line, Blue Label contemporary ethnic collection, Red Label high-end collection, shoes, bags and accessories, and home lifestyle. The main line covers elegant workwear, relaxed everyday dressing and fashion sport. Blue Label draws on the octagonal-star motif and Miao and Yi intangible cultural heritage patterns, developed through the embroidery and pleating ateliers for cultural-occasion dressing, carrying forward the legacy of Chinese ethnic traditions. Red Label uses peony and ruyi as heritage codes for elevated workwear, daily wear and social occasions. Shoes, bags, accessories and the home line complete the lifestyle offer, extending from apparel into tea, porcelain, silk textiles and garment care.

The brand operates three creative centers in Paris, Shanghai and Jiaxing respectively, together with its Traditional Chinese Garment Culture Research Building, and runs ateliers covering embroidery, pleating, handbags, footwear, cashmere outerwear and reconstruction. This system connects mulberry silk, yak down and cashmere from raw-material swatches and pattern drawings through to finished-garment craft, showcasing a profound heritage of craftsmanship and savoir-faire. For SS27, the display replaces heavy conceptual packaging with material swatches, physical craft samples and collection prototypes, helping international buyers read construction, made-to-order lead times and sustainable packaging more clearly.

EP YAYING first joined MODE in March 2026 and returns for this second consecutive participation. Through MODE's "See All • See Together" trade platform, the brand aims to deepen long-term partnerships with buyers from Europe, Southeast Asia, the United States and Central Asia, communicating Chinese materials, owned ateliers and multi-scenario product systems as professional assets — positioning its global growth around culture, material and craft rather than low-price export.

Founded in 1988 and rooted in Jiangnan, EP YAYING specializes in China's finest natural materials — mulberry silk, yak down and cashmere — supported by in-house ateliers, and creates high-quality lifestyle products for contemporary women across work, culture, daily life and home.
