Hadrian Expands Partnership with Lockheed Martin to Scale Production of Critical Missile Systems

First-of-its-kind, seven-year agreement brings Hadrian's automated manufacturing capabilities directly into Lockheed Martin's Grand Prairie facility to scale critical missile production

TORRANCE, Calif., Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Hadrian, the advanced manufacturing company building highly automated factories and production capacity for America, today announced a first-of-its-kind, seven-year agreement with Lockheed Martin to bring Hadrian's advanced manufacturing capabilities directly into Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) facility in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Building on the memorandum of understanding announced in December 2025, the agreement will integrate Hadrian's manufacturing capabilities, Opus software platform, and national factory network with Lockheed Martin's program and production expertise. Together, the companies will add scalable manufacturing capacity to support critical missile programs integral to the United States' Arsenal of Freedom, including PAC-3 MSE, THAAD, PrSM, and GMLRS.

Through the partnership, Hadrian and Lockheed Martin will:

- Add advanced manufacturing capacity at Lockheed Martin's Grand Prairie facility to support production across key missile programs.

- Strengthen supply chain resiliency by bringing machining capacity on-site while maintaining access to Hadrian's broader manufacturing network.

- Combine Hadrian's Opus software and automated manufacturing capabilities with Lockheed Martin's existing program and production expertise.

- Begin commissioning in early 2027, with manufacturing cells phased in over the seven-year agreement and each supporting multiple missile programs.

"The warfighter can't wait on peacetime timelines. Hadrian is bringing the automation, software, and workforce training from our own factories directly into Lockheed Martin, so we can produce more, faster. Rebuilding the Arsenal of Freedom at the scale America needs will take partnerships that combine expertise and speed, and this is what that looks like," said Chris Power, CEO of Hadrian.

Hadrian will operate directly inside Lockheed Martin's production ecosystem in Grand Prairie, creating a new model for expanding domestic capacity needed to produce critical defense systems. The partnership will also provide the flexibility to shift production across Hadrian's broader machining network as demand evolves.

"Moving with wartime urgency to deliver the combat-proven capabilities the United States and our allied partners need at unprecedented scales requires innovative solutions and thinking differently," said Tim Cahill, president, Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control. "This partnership brings together the world-class workforce and proven excellence of Lockheed Martin with Hadrian's expertise in commercial technology, ensuring we take the best of both companies to meet the mission."

The partnership is designed not only to meet today's production needs, but to strengthen the American manufacturing base needed to sustain U.S. defense production for the long term.

About Hadrian

Hadrian is rebuilding America's industrial base with highly automated factories that combine process engineering, AI, and robotics. Its mission is to help space and defense manufacturers produce full programs at scale in the U.S. while giving American workers the tools to compete globally.

AMERICAN SKIN ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES FORMATION OF ASA EMERGING DERMATOLOGY LEADERS ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Image File

New initiative will engage the next generation of dermatology leaders to advance research, patient education, and innovation in skin health.

NEW YORK, Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- American Skin Association (ASA) is pleased to announce the formation of the American Skin Association Emerging Dermatology Leaders Advisory Committee, a new initiative designed to engage and cultivate the next generation of leaders in dermatology. The committee will provide guidance on emerging research priorities, pipeline therapies, unmet needs in dermatologic care, current trends in skin health, and innovative approaches to patient education and community outreach.

The committee reflects ASA's continued commitment to ensuring that emerging scientific advances, clinical perspectives, and patient needs remain central to the organization's work. For nearly four decades, ASA has served as a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing research, championing skin health, particularly among children, and raising public awareness about skin disease. ASA has awarded more than $50 million in research grants to advance treatments and the search for cures for melanoma, vitiligo, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and other serious skin diseases.

"The ASA Emerging Dermatology Leaders Advisory Committee represents an important investment in the future of dermatology and in the continued growth of ASA," said Howard P. Milstein, Chairman of ASA. "These physicians bring a breadth of expertise, energy, and new perspectives that will be valuable as ASA considers emerging areas of research, advances in patient care, and new ways to educate and engage the public."

Nicholas Brownstone, MD, Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Kimberly and Eric J. Waldman Department of Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, NY, will serve as Chair of the committee.

Dr. Brownstone brings broad experience in clinical dermatology, research, and medical education, with a background in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. His research experience includes psoriasis, phototherapy, eczema, hidradenitis suppurativa, psychodermatology, and skin cancer, and he has published in peer-reviewed medical journals and textbooks and presented at national dermatology conferences. He has also served as a host for ASA's podcast series, The SKINsight Podcast: A Patient's Guide.

"As dermatology continues to evolve at an extraordinary pace, there is an important opportunity to bring the perspectives of the next generation of physicians into conversations about where the field is headed," said Nicholas Brownstone, MD. "This committee will allow emerging leaders to work closely with ASA's Board and leadership to identify important scientific opportunities, address unmet needs in patient care and education, and contribute new ideas that can help strengthen ASA's impact for patients and families."

The committee's six founding members, alongside Dr. Brownstone, represent a broad range of expertise across dermatology:

- Benjamin Ungar, MD, is Director of the Alopecia Center of Excellence and Director of the Rosacea & Seborrheic Dermatitis Clinic at the Kimberly and Eric J. Waldman Department of Dermatology at Mount Sinai. His clinical and research work focuses on inflammatory and hair disorders, including alopecia areata, rosacea, and seborrheic dermatitis.

- Helen He, MD, is Assistant Professor in the Kimberly and Eric J. Waldman Department of Dermatology at Mount Sinai, Director of Lasers and Cosmetic Surgery, and Co-Director of the Mount Sinai-Clinique Healthy Skin Dermatology Center. She specializes in cosmetic and medical dermatology and has a translational research background in inflammatory skin diseases and skin aging.

- Nicholas Gulati, MD, PhD, is Assistant Professor of Dermatology, Director of the Early Detection of Skin Cancer Clinic at the Kimberly and Eric J. Waldman Melanoma and Skin Cancer Center, and Director of the Oncodermatology Clinic at Mount Sinai. His clinical focus includes melanoma and other skin cancers, and his work encompasses early detection as well as dermatologic care for patients experiencing skin conditions associated with cancer treatment.

- Ahuva Cices, MD, is Director of the Cutaneous Manifestations of Inflammatory Bowel Disease Clinic and Director of Cosmetic Dermatology for Patients with Autoimmune Disease at the Kimberly and Eric J. Waldman Department of Dermatology at Mount Sinai. She practices both medical and cosmetic dermatology with clinical experience spanning a broad range of skin conditions, including autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, and has served as an investigator in numerous clinical trials.

- Prince Adotama, MD, is Assistant Professor in the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, Associate Director of the Undergraduate Curriculum in Dermatology, and Assistant Program Director of the Dermatology Residency Program. His clinical and research work includes skin of color, hair disorders, autoimmune skin disease, and health disparities, as well as medical education.

- Michael Lor, MD, is Assistant Professor of Clinical Dermatology at Weill Cornell Medical College. His clinical practice encompasses general and complex medical dermatology, with experience caring for patients with a wide range of dermatologic conditions, including inflammatory skin diseases, infections, skin cancer, and cutaneous lymphoma. He has demonstrated a strong commitment to medical education and has received recognition for his contributions to teaching and humanism in medicine.

Together with Dr. Brownstone, the founding members will advise ASA leadership on scientific expansion and pipeline therapies, including emerging areas such as alopecia areata, hidradenitis suppurativa, vitiligo, inflammatory skin diseases, skin cancer, and aging skin. Members will also help identify unmet needs in dermatology research and education and provide input on opportunities to strengthen ASA's grant and research initiatives.

"ASA has a long history of bringing together patients, physicians, scientists, and advocates to advance the field of dermatology," said James G. Krueger, MD, PhD, President of ASA. "This new committee builds on that tradition by creating a dedicated forum for emerging leaders to share their perspectives and help inform the scientific and educational priorities that will shape dermatology in the years ahead."

The formation of the ASA Emerging Dermatology Leaders Advisory Committee underscores ASA's commitment to remain at the forefront of scientific innovation and community engagement while cultivating the next generation of leaders in dermatology. By connecting emerging physician leaders with ASA's established network of scientists, physicians, and advocates, the initiative aims to strengthen the organization's ability to advance research, expand education, and improve the lives of people affected by skin diseases.

Personal Injury Attorney Bryce C. Crowley Explains What to Know Before Giving a Recorded Statement in HelloNation
Image File

The Article Explains How Statements to Insurance Companies Can Affect Accident Claims and Why Careful, Accurate Answers Matter

ROLLA, Mo., Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- What should you know before giving an insurance company a statement? HelloNation published an article featuring insights from Bryce C. Crowley of Steelman Gaunt Crowley that answer this question.

The HelloNation article explains that an insurance company may contact someone soon after a car accident to gather information. An insurance adjuster may ask basic questions or request a recorded statement about the collision. The article notes that anything said during that conversation can become part of the insurance claim record.

A recorded statement is typically a question-and-answer conversation kept in the insurer's claim file. According to the article, questions may address the accident location, vehicle movements, injuries, medical treatment, and prior health conditions. Because those answers can influence how an insurance claim is evaluated, accuracy matters.

The article advises people not to guess when they do not know or remember a detail. Estimates about speed, distance, timing, or another driver's actions can introduce information that may be difficult to correct later. Personal Injury Attorney Bryce C. Crowley's insights are featured in the article, which explains why factual answers can help maintain an accurate claim record.

Questions about injuries also require care after a car accident. The article notes that some symptoms may not appear until hours or days after the collision. Accurately describing current symptoms is more appropriate than predicting recovery time or whether additional medical treatment will be needed.

The HelloNation article also distinguishes between requests from different insurance companies. A person's own policy may require cooperation with their insurer during an accident investigation. A request from the other driver's insurance company involves a different relationship and should be considered accordingly before providing a recorded statement.

The article explains that an insurance adjuster may use a friendly, conversational approach while gathering information. However, the discussion still has a business purpose involving coverage, liability, injury claims, and damages. Even an informal conversation may later matter when the insurance company reviews the claim.

The article also advises caution when discussing fault. Drivers may see only part of a collision as it happens, while photographs, police reports, witnesses, and vehicle damage can provide additional information. Stating what is known instead of assuming what happened can help avoid unsupported conclusions.

Before speaking with an insurer, the article suggests reviewing basic accident information. This may include the date and location, vehicles involved, photographs, and notes made after the collision. Reviewing known facts can reduce confusion and help a person provide clear information without rehearsing or exaggerating.

The article concludes that giving a statement is more than an informal discussion about a car accident. The information provided may influence decisions about fault, coverage, injury claims, and compensation. By understanding who is requesting information and why, readers can better appreciate the importance of an accurate insurance claim record and the guidance that Personal Injury Attorney Bryce C. Crowley discusses.

Aurora Cannabis Reaffirms Recommendation to Shareholders: REJECT Curaleaf's Revised Hostile Bid; Preserve Opportunities for Future Upside
Image File

NASDAQ | TSX: ACB

- Revised Hostile Bid continues to significantly undervalue Aurora; fails to address concerns previously raised by the Board.

- Aurora's Special Committee is actively exploring strategic alternatives to maximize value for Aurora shareholders.

- Shareholders are advised to REJECT the revised Hostile Bid and TAKE NO ACTION at this time before other strategic alternatives may emerge.

- Questions about the Hostile Bid or would like to stay informed? Contact Kingsdale Advisors toll-free at 1-800-749-9052 within North America, call or text 416-623-4172 or email [email protected].

EDMONTON, AB, Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Aurora Cannabis Inc. ("Aurora" or the "Company") (TSX: ACB) (NASDAQ: ACB), the Canadian-based leading global medical cannabis company, today reconfirms that the Board of Directors (the "Board"), on the unanimous recommendation of a special committee of independent directors (the "Special Committee"), unanimously recommends that shareholders REJECT the hostile offer by Curaleaf Holdings, Inc. ("Curaleaf") (TSX: CURA) (OTCQX: CURLF) for all of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Company, as revised in the Notice of Variation, Change and Extension filed by Curaleaf on October 6, 2026 (the "Hostile Bid").

"Curaleaf's revised offer still does not reflect the value of the company Aurora shareholders own today. Aurora is debt-free with a strong cash position, and we believe the revised Hostile Bid continues to ask shareholders to give up that strength, and their future upside, at a discount," said Miguel Martin, Executive Chairman and CEO of Aurora.

"At the same time, our Special Committee is carefully evaluating strategic alternatives with the goal of delivering greater value for Aurora shareholders. Curaleaf's offer remains open until December 4, 2026, so we believe shareholders gain nothing by tendering now, and tendering early could undermine the opportunity for a superior outcome. We urge shareholders to keep their options open, reject the revised Hostile Bid and take no action until they can consider all the alternatives available to them," concluded Mr. Martin.

The Board's determination follows careful consideration of, among other things, advice from its financial and legal advisors, including an updated inadequacy opinion from its financial advisor, and the unanimous recommendation of the Special Committee. To reject the revised Hostile Bid, simply TAKE NO ACTION. Shareholders who have tendered their Aurora shares and wish to withdraw, are advised to contact their broker or contact Kingsdale Advisors to assist with this process.

A Notice of Change to Directors' Circular (the "Notice of Change") providing the full details concerning the Board's recommendation, including the reasons to REJECT the revised Hostile Bid and additional details in respect of the ongoing strategic alternatives process, will be made available on the Company's special website at www.ProtectAurora.com, on SEDAR+ at www.sedarplus.com and on EDGAR at www.sec.gov. The principal reasons for the Board's recommendation to reject the revised Hostile Bid will be detailed in the Notice of Change and include:

- The revised Hostile Bid remains inadequate and significantly undervalues Aurora on several measures. The Board and Special Committee have received an updated fairness opinion from their financial advisor confirming that the revised consideration is inadequate, from a financial point of view, to Aurora shareholders.

- Curaleaf continues to propose to use Aurora Shareholders' own cash to acquire control of Aurora without paying fairly. A significant portion of the cash consideration would, in effect, be funded by the Aurora Shareholder's own cash through Aurora's balance sheet.

- Aurora Shareholders bear the risk. The increase in consideration consists principally of Curaleaf shares at an inflated valuation; Aurora shareholders would remain fully exposed to any decline in the Curaleaf share price.

- The Hostile Bid remains opportunistic. It seeks to acquire Aurora's assets at a discount and does not reflect the longer-term earning power of Aurora's global business.

- Curaleaf has not adequately supported its estimated synergies. Even if the synergies were realized, substantially all of the benefit would accrue to Curaleaf's existing shareholders and not Aurora shareholders.

- Superior proposals or other alternatives may emerge from Aurora's ongoing strategic review process. Aurora shareholders are encouraged to wait for the results of that process. Tendering into the Hostile Bid could negatively affect the possibility of a superior alternative being available for Aurora shareholders to consider.

Update on Strategic Alternatives Process

The Special Committee, with the assistance of its and the Company's financial and legal advisors, is actively exploring a range of alternatives to the revised Hostile Bid that may offer shareholders greater value than the revised Hostile Bid. These alternatives include, among other things, a possible transaction with one or more third parties or remaining independent and pursuing Aurora's existing strategy as a stand-alone entity.

The Special Committee, through the Company's financial advisor, has solicited a number of parties to ascertain their interest in Aurora. Aurora has entered into confidentiality and standstill agreements with multiple parties, each of whom have been examining information relating to Aurora. Aurora has had numerous discussions with these parties. As this process is ongoing, it is not possible at this time to predict with certainty what alternatives (if any) may emerge from this process. There can be no assurance that the process will result in a transaction. However, shareholders should not tender their shares until the process is completed.

The Board and the Special Committee believe that it is in the best interests of Aurora and its shareholders for there to be sufficient time to permit strategic alternatives that may be available to Aurora to emerge, and for the Special Committee to review and evaluate such potential alternatives. After the Special Committee and the Board have had the opportunity to explore, pursue and evaluate alternatives, the Board intends to provide a further recommendation to shareholders. Tendering into the revised Hostile Bid prematurely could negatively affect the possibility of a superior alternative being available for shareholders to consider.

Trenchless Drilling vs Traditional Excavation Explained in HelloNation Featuring Construction Expert David Allegretta
Original HTML

The article outlines key differences in underground utility installation methods and their impact on Albany construction projects.

ALBANY, N.Y., Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - What is the best way to install underground utilities without disrupting busy city environments? HelloNation published an article that answers this question, featuring insights from Construction Expert David Allegretta of JAT Construction in Albany.

The HelloNation article explains the differences between trenchless drilling and traditional excavation, two common approaches used in Albany construction and other urban infrastructure work. Traditional excavation involves digging open trenches to access underground utilities such as pipes and cables. While effective, the article notes that this method can disrupt roads, sidewalks, and surrounding infrastructure, often leading to delays and added costs in active construction projects.

In contrast, trenchless drilling offers a less invasive solution. The article explains that this method uses specialized equipment to create underground pathways without large trenches. This approach allows construction projects to move forward while minimizing disruption to traffic, businesses, and public spaces. For cities like Albany, where infrastructure is dense and space is limited, trenchless drilling provides a practical alternative.

The article highlights that trenchless drilling is particularly useful in areas with heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic. By avoiding extensive digging, contractors can maintain normal above-ground activity while work continues below. This advantage is especially important throughout the Hudson Valley, the Capital Region, Upstate, Central, and Western New York construction, where maintaining accessibility and minimizing inconvenience are key priorities.

Construction Expert insights featured in the article emphasize that traditional excavation still has its place. The article explains that for simpler projects or areas with fewer surface constraints, traditional excavation may be a suitable and cost-effective option. However, as infrastructure becomes more complex, trenchless drilling is often preferred for its efficiency and reduced impact.

The article also explores specific trenchless drilling techniques, including horizontal directional drilling, pipe bursting, and microtunneling. Each method serves different purposes within underground utilities installation and repair. Horizontal directional drilling is commonly used for installing pipelines and cables beneath obstacles, while pipe bursting is effective for replacing aging infrastructure. These methods allow crews to complete construction projects with greater precision and less surface damage.

Another key point the article covers is cost. While trenchless drilling may cost more upfront than traditional excavation, the article notes that overall savings often come from reduced labor, shorter timelines, and less need for restoration. In Albany construction, where restoring roads and landscapes can be expensive, this efficiency can make a significant difference.

The HelloNation article also explains that trenchless drilling reduces the risk of damaging existing underground utilities. With traditional excavation, there is a higher risk of accidentally disrupting other lines, leading to delays and additional repairs. By using controlled drilling methods, contractors can better navigate complex infrastructure systems.

Environmental considerations are also addressed. The article explains how trenchless drilling reduces soil disturbance and preserves existing landscapes, making it a more environmentally responsible choice for many construction projects. This benefit aligns with growing expectations for sustainable practices in modern infrastructure development.

Ultimately, the article concludes that the decision between trenchless drilling and traditional excavation depends on project needs, location, and budget. Understanding these methods helps construction teams choose the most effective approach for installing and maintaining underground utilities while balancing cost, efficiency, and impact.

Trenchless Drilling vs Traditional Excavation Explained features insights from David Allegretta, a construction expert in Albany, New York, on HelloNation.
