Juvonno Expands Its Open API Ecosystem, Giving Clinics Free Access to Powerful Integrations

More than 23 software developers have built AI-powered reception, reporting, and charting tools designed to transform how modern clinics operate.

WINNIPEG, MB, Sept. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Juvonno's free Open API is creating a growing ecosystem of connected technologies for modern medical clinics. These advancements will give clinics greater freedom to choose specialized tools that complement their workflows and extend the capabilities of their practice management platform.

Juvonno, a clinic management software for growing allied health practices in Canada, the UK, and the USA, is expanding the possibilities available to its clients through the Juvonno Open API, a free resource for all Juvonno customers. Juvonno is working with more than 23 software developers building connected solutions, from AI-powered reception and reporting systems to charting tools.

The initiative is designed to give clinics greater flexibility to adopt technologies that fit their individual workflows while remaining connected to Juvonno. Through continuing to develop its API and support third-party developers, Juvonno is fostering an ecosystem in which clinics are not limited to a single set of tools or a one-size-fits-all approach.

Developers can build specialized solutions that enhance Juvonno's existing capabilities, while clinics can select technologies based on their operational needs, growth goals, and patient experience priorities. The result is a more flexible technological environment that can evolve alongside a clinic.

One example is Clinic OS, a complete clinic CRM developed by a clinic owner who operates a growing, multi-location organization. The platform offers full inbound lead management, connecting phone, SMS, email, and social media channels into a single intake system. An extensive AI backbone automates the new-patient process while providing clinic management teams with extensive reporting.

Juvonno's ongoing API development reflects a broader commitment to interoperability and innovation. It is proving to be a game-changer in the industry, giving clinics more control over their technology stack. Clinics can combine their core practice management platform with purpose-built technologies that help automate workflows, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth.

About Juvonno: Juvonno is a comprehensive clinic management software built to help multidisciplinary clinics manage their day-to-day operations. Through continued platform development and its free Open API, Juvonno enables clinics to connect with innovative third-party technologies and build a technology ecosystem suited to their unique workflows and goals.

Hisense predstavuje na veľtrhu IFA 2026 koncept „Companion Living" s podporou AI

BERLÍN, 4. september 2026 /PRNewswire/ – Spoločnosť Hisense, popredná globálna značka v oblasti spotrebnej elektroniky a domácich spotrebičov, predstavuje na veľtrhu IFA 2026 svoju víziu „Companion Living" (Spoločené bývanie) v duchu témy „Innovating a Brighter Life" (Inovácie pre jasnejší život), pričom prostredníctvom svojich riešení V AIOS a AI Companion Suite prináša AI do každodenných činností.

V obytnom priestore slúži UR9 ako brána do prepojeného domu, spája pohodlie a riadenie energie s cieľom prispôsobiť prúdenie vzduchu a domáce prostredie ľuďom a podmienkam.

W przypadku prania ta sama inteligentna technologia ułatwia właściwą pielęgnację odzieży, rozpoznając rodzaj tkaniny oraz odpowiednio dobierając parametry prania i suszenia do poszczególnych ubrań. W przestrzeni mieszkalnej UR9 pełni rolę centrum połączonego domu, łącząc funkcje związane z komfortem i zarządzaniem energią oraz dostosowując przepływ powietrza i warunki w pomieszczeniach do potrzeb użytkowników i aktualnej sytuacji.

Orbis Flying Eye Hospital Marks 20 Years of Partnership with Macau
Image File
Original HTML

First-ever Flying Eye Hospital training project in Macau, supported by Alcon and OMEGA, highlights two decades of local support advancing eye health in China and around the world.

MACAU, Sept. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Global eye care nonprofit Orbis International is celebrating 20 years of partnership with the Macau community with the arrival of its Flying Eye Hospital for the first-ever simulation-based training project in Macau. The project will engage 70 ophthalmologists and nurses from eight Orbis partner hospitals across China to Macau for advanced training and mentorship aboard the Flying Eye Hospital and at Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau. Together, these professionals will go on to serve more than 245,000 patients in China annually.

This project, locally supported by the Civil Aviation Authority, the Health Bureau of the Macau Special Administrative Region, and many dedicated local and international supporters, will serve as a platform for hands-on training, innovation, and knowledge exchange. Training will focus on simulated cataract, glaucoma, strabismus, medical retina, and nursing specialties, strengthening participants' skills, which they can apply throughout their careers and share with future generations of eye care professionals.

Since Orbis Macau was established in 2006, the Macau community has raised more than US$33 million to support Orbis's work in China and around the world. As a bridge between Macau's supporters and Orbis's global mission, Orbis Macau has mobilized donors, companies, schools, foundations and volunteers to help strengthen eye care systems, train health professionals and expand access to quality eye care.

"For twenty years, the people of Macau have stood beside Orbis as partners in our mission," said Isabel da Silva, Director of Development, Orbis Macau. "The real story of this visit is not just the aircraft. It's the thousands of individuals, companies, schools, and volunteers of Macau who have supported Orbis over the last two decades. Their generosity has helped make sight-saving work possible around the world, and this project offers a unique opportunity for the Macau community and our supporters to see the impact of their contributions firsthand. By supporting Orbis's global work, they are directly helping to empower eye care teams in China to safeguard eye health in rural and remote communities, while also advancing efforts to raise awareness of eye health locally in Macau."

Cybersight, Orbis's telemedicine and e-learning platform, is an integral part of every Flying Eye Hospital project—connecting in-person training with continuous learning before and after the aircraft is on site. Through Cybersight, participants can prepare in advance, consult with global experts, access ongoing education, and continue building skills long after the project concludes, extending the impact of the Flying Eye Hospital far beyond the aircraft itself.

"For 20 years, the Macau community has helped Orbis turn generosity into lasting impact," said Kathleen Sherwin, President and CEO of Orbis International. "This project shows what that looks like in practice. By bringing eye care teams from across China together for advanced simulation training and connecting them to ongoing mentorship through Cybersight, we are investing not only in individual clinicians, but in stronger eye care systems. The knowledge gained here will travel back with these doctors and nurses to the communities they serve and continue multiplying for years to come."

Alcon has been a generous supporter of Orbis for more than 45 years, providing financial support to the Flying Eye Hospital through the Alcon Foundation, as well as donations of state-of-the-art ophthalmic equipment, surgical products, and supplies through Alcon Cares.

"Alcon is proud to support Orbis's first Flying Eye Hospital training project in Macau, a milestone that reflects both the strength of our more than 45-year collaboration with Orbis, and Macau's remarkable commitment to advancing eye health," said Melisa Chong, Surgical Franchise Head, Alcon Hong Kong. "Helping people see brilliantly is our purpose, and we know that building local capacity is one of the most effective ways to create lasting impact. By equipping ophthalmologists and nurses with advanced training, technology and ongoing educational resources, this program will help strengthen eye care capacity in China and expand access to quality eye care in underserved communities. Together with Orbis and the people of Macau, we are helping create a future where more patients can receive the eye care they need to see their world more clearly."

Since 2011, OMEGA has proudly supported Flying Eye Hospital projects and works in cooperation with its celebrity brand ambassadors to increase awareness of Orbis and its mission. OMEGA also provides teddy bears to all young patients being treated on the plane.

"By dedicating their time over 20 years, Orbis has created a true legacy of excellence in Macau. OMEGA is proud to be part of this long-standing community initiative. These 20 years are a testament to the commitment, innovation, and passion that we so deeply admire in Orbis.", President & CEO of OMEGA, Raynald Aeschlimann.

The Macau Program is part of Orbis's 2026 annual Flying Eye Hospital global program, and Orbis is deeply grateful that it brings together international sponsors and local partners, including Alcon, OMEGA, the Civil Aviation Authority of Macau Special Administrative Region, and the Health Bureau of the Macau Special Administrative Region. Orbis is also honored for support from Macau International Airport Co. Ltd. (CAM), Menzies Aviation Macau, TAG Aviation Asia (Macau) Ltd., Min Da Construction & Engineering Co. Ltd., Sands China Ltd., MGM, Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau, CSI Group Macau, Macau Coca-Cola Beverage Co. Ltd FedEx, Woodward Inc., AirAsia, Embraer, and GE Aerospace. Together, these supporters are making the first simulation training project in Macau possible. By bringing eye care teams from Orbis partner hospitals across China to train in the city, the project directly contributes to strengthening long-term eye care in rural and remote Chinese communities.

DIMERIX SECURES A$34 MILLION NON-DILUTIVE FACILITY TO FUND KEY CLINICAL MILESTONES

- Dimerix successfully enters into non-dilutive facility agreements to access A$34 million[1] with a syndicate of Australian and U.S. independent lenders, including the previously announced initial facility of A$10 million[2]

- Facility terms for all Lenders substantially consistent with the previously announced loan facility;[2] with minor amendments made to the SKIPTAN agreement to standardise key terms across all Lenders (other than in respect of security, refer to Appendix 1)

- Dimerix has elected to drawdown only 50% of the amount committed initially, which is considered sufficient to complete all currently planned activities, including delivery of the ACTION3 Phase 3 trial of DMX-200 and continued advancement of the Phase 2 trial of DMX-652 in Acute Kidney Injury[3]

- The facility provides the option to secure up to A$50m in total commitments on or before 31 March 2027, should Dimerix elect to do so; noting the Company currently has no plans access this additional funding

- Facility provides Dimerix with considerable financial flexibility without diluting shareholders

MELBOURNE, Australia, Sept. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Dimerix Limited (ASX: DXB, "Dimerix") a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing kidney disease treatments, is pleased to announce that it has successfully secured non-dilutive loan facility agreements ("Loan Agreements") with a group of Australian and U.S. based lenders to access up to A$34 million[1] (see key terms in Appendix 1), including the existing A$10 million facility agreement with SKIPTAN.[2]

"We are delighted with the support received from lenders across both Australia and the United States, reflecting growing confidence in Dimerix, our clinical programs and our mission to improve outcomes for patients suffering from serious kidney diseases. The successful entry into this facility provides Dimerix with the financial flexibility needed to execute our planned development activities without dilution for shareholders.

Importantly, we have taken a disciplined approach and elected to access only the funding considered required to complete our currently planned activities. We believe this is in the best interests of shareholders, including completion of both the ACTION3 Phase 3 trial of DMX-200 and the Phase 2 trial of DMX-652 in Acute Kidney Injury.

Kidney disease is now recognised as one of the fastest-growing causes of death globally, and yet treatment options remain limited for many patients. As a company dedicated exclusively to kidney disease, Dimerix remains focused on developing new treatment options that have the potential to improve and extend the lives of patients in urgent need."

Dr Nina Webster, CEO & Managing Director, Dimerix

Non-dilutive funding flexibility

The facility has been established to support Dimerix's ongoing clinical development programs and provides the Company with significant financial flexibility while advancing its late-stage pipeline.

The terms of the facility for the new lenders are substantially similar to those previously announced for the SKIPTAN facility (ASX: 17 July 2026), with SKIPTAN terms amended to ensure alignment (see Appendix 1 for details). The facility provides the flexibility for Dimerix to elect to take further commitments for up to a total of A$50m on or before 31 March 2027.

Importantly, Dimerix has elected to initially drawdown only the amount of funding considered required to complete its currently planned activities, being 50% of the currently committed funds.[3] This disciplined approach to capital management minimises financing costs and shareholder dilution, while maintaining the flexibility to access additional capital under the facility if required in the future.

Funded for ACTION3 trial and DMX-652 development activities

Based on the Company's present operating plans and anticipated expenditure, Dimerix confirms that it is funded through to completion of the ACTION3 Phase 3 trial in DMX-200, as well as the planned Phase 2 clinical trial in DMX-652, through:[3]

- Existing cash reserves; and

- A$34 million[1] via the binding Loan Agreements, with receipt of the initial 50% draw-down anticipated in September 2026 and the remainder to take place at the Company's discretion on or before 31 March 2027.

The facility is anticipated to be repaid through existing future licensee milestone payment(s), potential new license fees and/or capital market access. Dimerix has secured five commercial partners across major markets, generating A$81 million in upfront payments received to date and creating the opportunity for a further A$237 million in development milestone payments ahead of commercial launch.[4]

Advancing a Leading Kidney Disease Pipeline

Kidney disease is among the fastest-growing causes of death worldwide and represents a significant and increasing healthcare burden. Despite this growing prevalence, many forms of kidney disease continue to have limited treatment options available for patients.[5],[6]

Dimerix is uniquely focused on kidney diseases, with a pipeline designed to address significant unmet medical needs. The Company's lead program, DMX-200, is currently being evaluated in the fully recruited global ACTION3 Phase 3 clinical trial in patients with FSGS - a serious, rare kidney disease that can lead to kidney failure and the need for dialysis or transplantation.

Dimerix is also advancing DMX-652 for Acute Kidney Injury, a condition associated with significant morbidity, mortality and healthcare costs worldwide. The Phase 2 clinical program is designed to evaluate the potential of DMX-652 in preventing kidney injury and preserving renal function, following cardiac surgery.

Potential catalysts

As Dimerix advances its pivotal, fully recruited ACTION3 Phase 3 trial for DMX-200 toward what is anticipated to be a major value-creating event if successful, the Company has simultaneously strengthened its growth profile through the recent acquisition of DMX-652 and its ongoing advancement into Phase 2 clinical development. Progress and positive outcomes from the DMX-652 development program have the potential to create substantial additional shareholder value, diversify Dimerix's clinical pipeline, and deliver multiple near- and medium-term catalysts for investors.

The entry into the A$34 million[1] facility the subject of the Loan Agreements is expected to support these important clinical milestones and further strengthen Dimerix's position as a leading kidney disease-focused biotechnology company.

About Dimerix

Dimerix Limited (ASX: DXB) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing new therapies for kidney diseases with significant unmet medical need. The Company's lead program, DMX-200, is currently in Phase 3 clinical development for focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), a serious and life-threatening rare kidney disease with limited treatment options. In addition, Dimerix is advancing a Phase 2 program in acute kidney injury (AKI), further strengthening its pipeline in high-need renal indications. With a growing network of five commercial partners supporting global development and future market access, Dimerix is committed to expanding its reach and delivering innovative treatments to as many patients as possible worldwide while creating long-term value for shareholders. For more information, please visit the company's website at www.dimerix.com.

About DMX-200 in FSGS

FSGS is a rare, serious kidney disorder characterised by progressive scarring (sclerosis) in parts of the glomeruli - the kidney's filtering units. This scarring leads to proteinuria, progressive loss of kidney function, and often end-stage renal disease. FSGS is increasingly understood to have an inflammatory component, with monocyte and macrophage activation contributing to glomerular injury. In the United States, more than 40,000 people are estimated to be living with FSGS, including both adults and children.[7] There are no therapies specifically approved for FSGS in the U.S., and disease management relies on non-specific immunosuppressive and supportive therapies. In patients with progressive or treatment-resistant FSGS, the average time from diagnosis to end-stage kidney disease can be as short as five years. Even among those who undergo kidney transplantation, disease recurrence occurs in up to 60% of cases,[8] underscoring the urgent need for new, disease-modifying treatments.

DMX-200 is a chemokine receptor (CCR2) antagonist administered to patients already receiving an angiotensin II type I receptor (AT1R) blocker, the standard of care treatment for hypertension and kidney disease. DMX-200 is protected by granted patents in various territories until 2032, with patent applications submitted globally that may extend patent protection to 2042, in addition to Orphan Drug Designation granted in the United States, Europe, UK and Japan[9].

About DMX-652 in Acute Kidney Injury

Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a prevalent and severe clinical syndrome of substantial unmet need. It can arise from several high-risk clinical settings including, most notably, cardiac surgery and sepsis and is characterised by a rapid decline in kidney function (within hours), often resulting in high morbidity and mortality. The current addressable patient population is estimated to be approximately 260,000 across the major markets of United States, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and United Kingdom per annum,[10],[11] making this indication a potential orphan designation. AKI represents a significant clinical burden. There are no approved therapies for AKI, which is associated with rapid kidney function decline within hours, increased risk of chronic kidney disease and long-term kidney complications.

Acepodia Announces FDA Clearance of IND Application for ACE723, a Novel Dual-Payload Antibody-Drug Conjugate

FDA clearance enables initiation of a Phase 1 clinical trial and advances the first AD2C-generated candidate into clinical development

ALAMEDA, Calif. and TAIPEI, Sept. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Acepodia (6976: TT), a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing next-generation cell therapies and antibody-drug conjugates, today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared the Company's Investigational New Drug (IND) application for ACE723, a GPC3-targeted dual-payload antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed using Acepodia's proprietary Antibody-Dual-Drugs Conjugation (AD2C) platform for the treatment of unresectable or metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The clearance enables Acepodia to advance ACE723 into Phase 1 clinical development.

"The FDA clearance of ACE723 marks an important milestone for our AD2C platform and brings our first AD2C-generated candidate into clinical development," said Sonny Hsiao, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Acepodia. "ACE723 is designed to deliver two cytotoxic payloads to GPC3-expressing tumor cells, with the goal of addressing tumor heterogeneity and potential resistance to single-payload therapies. We look forward to evaluating its safety, pharmacokinetics and preliminary anti-tumor activity in patients with unresectable or metastatic HCC."

ACE723 is an investigational GPC3-targeted dual-payload ADC developed through Acepodia's proprietary AD2C platform, which integrates expertise in antibody engineering, medicinal chemistry and tumor biology. GPC3 is a tumor-associated antigen frequently expressed in HCC, providing a potential target for selective delivery of cytotoxic payloads to tumor cells.

HCC accounts for more than 70% of liver cancer cases worldwide. Although immunotherapy-based combination regimens have improved first-line treatment for patients with unresectable or metastatic disease, significant unmet medical need remains for patients whose disease progresses or becomes resistant to treatment, underscoring the need for therapies with differentiated mechanisms of action.

The planned Phase 1 study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, dose-limiting toxicities, pharmacokinetics and preliminary anti-tumor activity of ACE723 in patients with unresectable or metastatic HCC. The dose-escalation portion of the study is expected to characterize the safety profile and establish a recommended dose for subsequent clinical development and potential expansion cohorts.

Acepodia also submitted an IND application for ACE723 to China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in August 2026 as part of the Company's global development strategy for the program.

About Acepodia

Leveraging a family of bio-orthogonal click chemistry approaches originating from Nobel Prize laureate Carolyn Bertozzi's laboratory, Acepodia has built a modular platform designed to combine antibodies with immune cells or therapeutic payloads to create differentiated treatment modalities.

The Company is advancing a pipeline based on its Antibody-Cell Conjugation (ACC) and Antibody-Dual-Drugs Conjugation (AD2C) platforms. These technologies are designed to enable flexible integration across antibodies, immune cells, and payload architectures, with the goal of enhancing targeted therapeutic activity while supporting broad applicability across hematologic malignancies, solid tumors, and autoimmune diseases.

By applying its conjugation technologies across multiple therapeutic modalities, Acepodia aims to develop scalable and differentiated therapies for patients with significant unmet medical needs.
