Dahua AirShield provides wireless intrusion protection by integrating alarm devices with surveillance, video intercom, and other security systems. Its Airfly private RF protocol supports event transmission between alarm hubs and wireless peripherals, while RF-HD enables rapid image and audio transmission from compatible devices.

The solution supports wired devices through expansion modules, helping users modernize existing systems while reducing upgrade costs. Powered by DoLynk Cloud, AirShield connects end-users, installers, and Alarm Receiving Centers through DMSS and DoLynk Care. AP Mode provides flexible network configuration, while Cloud Update enables one-click upgrades of alarm hubs and wireless peripherals.

Dahua WizTalk: Intelligent Residential Video Intercom

Dahua WizTalk, the company's flagship IP video intercom series, combines high-resolution imaging, AI capabilities, integrated security, and intelligent residential control. Selected door stations feature 5MP or 5MP+2MP dual-camera configurations, full-color night vision, ultra-wide viewing angles, and panoramic vertical dual-lens designs.

WizTalk supports detection of people, loitering, vehicles, packages, and pets, while selected models also provide crying detection. Its indoor panels integrate video surveillance, PTZ control, digital zoom, and intrusion alarm functions. SCP Series Smart Control Panels running Android 14 also support compatible third-party applications, allowing multiple functions to be managed through a unified interface.

SDK.finance Launches a Real-Time General Ledger for Banks and FinTech Companies

The event-driven, double-entry accounting layer converts financial product events into balanced, auditable journal entries without requiring businesses to replace their existing transaction platform.

VILNIUS, Lithuania, Sept. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- SDK.finance, the software foundation for FinTech and payment products, today announced the launch of SDK.finance General Ledger, a standalone real-time accounting module built for banks, electronic money institutions (EMIs), payment service providers (PSPs), FinTech companies and other businesses operating complex financial products.

Financial platforms often distribute transaction data, balance logic and accounting processes across multiple systems. As products expand across payment rails, currencies and customer segments, this fragmentation can create delayed visibility, manual reconciliation work and inconsistencies between operational data and financial records.

SDK.finance General Ledger can be added as an extra accounting layer to existing payment or banking infrastructure without replacing or modifying the underlying product. It consumes business events from a core banking system, payment platform, digital wallet or other transaction engine and automatically converts them into balanced double-entry journal entries.

This gives financial businesses a consistent, real-time and auditable system of record while allowing them to retain their existing transaction infrastructure.

"Financial businesses need to know not only that money moved, but how every event affected every relevant account, immediately and with a complete audit trail," said Alex Malyshev, CEO of SDK.finance. "We built SDK.finance General Ledger as a standalone accounting layer that can work with the infrastructure a company already has. It helps technical and finance teams work from the same financial truth while retaining control over their architecture, data and future development."

From business events to auditable accounting records

SDK.finance General Ledger uses configurable accounting determinations and mapping rules to translate product-specific events into journal-entry legs. It validates that debits and credits are balanced, posts entries automatically when configured and updates account balances and turnovers in real time.

Once posted, journal entries remain immutable. Corrections are handled through reversing entries, preserving the original record and maintaining a clear history of every adjustment.

As a standalone module, SDK.finance General Ledger connects to existing financial infrastructure through Kafka or REST API. It receives business events, generates the corresponding accounting entries and returns confirmations to the originating system.

The integration does not require changes to the existing transaction-processing logic. This allows businesses to introduce a dedicated accounting layer without rebuilding or replacing their current platform.

Core capabilities include:

- Automated conversion of business events into balanced debit and credit entries

- Real-time account balances and turnover reporting

- Configurable chart of accounts, accounting determinations and mapping rules

- Immutable posted entries and reversal-based corrections

- Support for fiat currencies and digital assets, with precision of up to 18 decimal places

- Role-based access control and a traceable audit history

- Integration through Kafka and REST APIs

- Standalone deployment alongside an existing core banking system, payment platform or transaction engine

- Source code access for organisations that require greater control and customisation

Built for financial products that move money

SDK.finance General Ledger is designed for organisations that need to account for high volumes of financial events accurately across multiple products, currencies or systems.

Typical applications include:

- Banks and EMIs adding real-time accounting capabilities to existing core infrastructure

- PSPs managing fees, settlements and transactions across multiple payment rails

- Digital wallets and neobanks maintaining real-time customer and operational balances

- Remittance and payout platforms handling cross-border and foreign-exchange flows

- Embedded finance providers adding auditable financial functionality to non-financial products

- Marketplaces recording split payments, commissions and merchant liabilities

- Digital asset businesses accounting for fiat and crypto-related events within a consistent framework

SDK.finance General Ledger can be deployed as a standalone module alongside an existing core banking or payment platform. It can also be combined with the SDK.finance Transaction Platform as part of a broader financial technology stack.

This deployment flexibility allows financial businesses to add a specialised accounting capability while preserving their existing customer journeys, payment logic and operational infrastructure.

About SDK.finance

SDK.finance is the software foundation for FinTech and payment products. With more than 15 years of industry experience, the company provides a modular software suite that helps banks, FinTech companies, EMIs, PSPs and enterprises build, modernise and scale digital financial services.

SDK.finance combines pre-developed transaction and accounting capabilities, flexible deployment options and source code access. This approach enables businesses to customise their financial infrastructure, maintain control over their product development and reduce long-term vendor dependency.

A&S Resources secures railway funding of USD$6 Billion to unlock $2.5 trillion iron ore asset

LONDON, Sept. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- A&S Resources Limited has secured funding for its railway connecting its Central African Republic (CAR) mineral assets through Cameroon to international export markets, marking a significant step towards unlocking one of the world's largest undeveloped high-grade iron ore reserves.

The approximately 1,350 km railway will be financed by the Export-Import Bank of India (EXIM Bank) and connect landlocked CAR to the deep-water Port of Kribi in Cameroon.

A&S Resources' CAR project is linked to what geologists describe as one of the biggest magnetic anomalies globally - resource potential exceeds 20 billion tonnes of predominantly high-grade iron ore, with an estimated gross in-situ value of approximately $2.5 trillion. Beyond iron ore, A&S Resources also holds critical minerals, rare earth elements, copper and other strategic resources in the region.

The railway will provide a direct route for these resources to reach global markets through Kribi, overcoming one of the principal infrastructure constraints facing mineral development in landlocked CAR. The railway is a heavy haul dual track with a capacity of 250,000 tonnes of cargo per day, with capacity to scale to 300,000 tonnes. The new infrastructure also has the potential to stimulate wider economic growth in CAR and Cameroon, supporting jobs, skills development, investment and trade, and creating opportunities for wider industrial and agricultural development.

The funding builds on progress announced earlier this year, when A&S Resources signed strategic agreements covering mine development, railway construction, export logistics and long-term off-take arrangements. Topographical and technical studies had already commenced on the railroad, with operational mobilisation scheduled for the end of 2026.

The railway is being developed in partnership with China Railway Sixth Group Co., Ltd (CRSG), a subsidiary of China Railway Group Limited, which has delivered more than 6,200km of rail projects across Africa.

"We built our aviation practice on the principle that behind every flight there is a human story that connects us all," said Karli Barokas, Managing Partner, FINN Partners. "Textron Aviation's commitment to community offers an incredible canvas for meaningful storytelling. Our team was proud to amplify the voices of the athletes, pilots, aircraft owners and employees who make this monumental Airlift possible."

The Special Olympics Airlift campaign generated significant national media momentum, securing nearly 120 stories and nearly 2 billion media impressions in June alone. High-profile features from USA TODAY and The Associated Press brought the mission to a broad national audience, highlighting the athletes, volunteer pilots and aviation community behind the Airlift while reinforcing Textron Aviation's leadership in bringing the effort to life.

BERLIN, Sept. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- At IFA 2026, petpogo, the pet-tech brand under Nasdaq-listed uCloudlink (Nasdaq: UCL), announced a full upgrade to its AI pet technology ecosystem. The rollout spans three connected products: the PetPhone, the PetCam AI camera, and the petpogo app—forming an integrated hardware, software, and service platform that helps owners understand what their pets are actually feeling, building stronger bonds between humans and animals.

Trained on a vocalization database spanning millions of recorded animal sounds, petpogo reads a pet's movement patterns and vocal cues, and interprets them into recognizable emotional states and insights, expressed in human language. The device functions less as a locator and more as a communication bridge: family members can manage multiple devices and check on their pets' status through the PetChat function in the app. When owner and pet are apart, PetPhone steps in to help close that emotional distance, using AI analysis and voice detection to better understand what a pet needs in the moment.

Safety and wellness are just as central to petpogo's design. One of PetPhone's key features is preventing pets from wandering too far during their adventures: where conventional trackers only alert owners after a pet has already left the safety zone, PetPhone notifies owners as a pet approaches the boundary, then calls them the moment it's actually crossed. This is powered by a combination of advanced positioning and communication technologies, ensuring the location stays accurate. Given the widely cited "golden two hours" for recovering a missing pet, that earlier warning is designed to buy owners the head start they need—and the peace of mind that comes with it.

Rather than offering single-purpose gadgets such as translators, feeders, or trackers, petpogo positions its ecosystem as a new, integrated approach to pet tech. It is one combined emotional, safety, and interaction solution that operates continuously through daily life. Whether an owner is away on a work trip or struggling to catch the early signs of illness, PetPhone stays with their pet across every scenario: unfamiliar surroundings, time outdoors, or home alone. PetCam adds another layer to that picture, letting owners see the world through their pet's eyes and get a clearer read on their day-to-day behavior. The technology is built to connect, protect, and interpret. With AI analysis running throughout the ecosystem, petpogo exists to close the distance between humans and their pets.

"We develop petpogo to make the world a less lonely place," said Jeff Chen, CEO and Co-Founder of uCloudlink. "With the extensive technology foundation we've built through our connectivity business, petpogo was born to put that same engineering rigor toward an emotional direction: helping people truly hear what their pets can't say in words."

This marks the first time petpogo has shown at IFA as an independent lifestyle-tech brand, presenting pet lovers with a holistic experience built entirely around pet care. Throughout the show, attendees can see firsthand how the PetPhone, PetCam, and app work together — and experience what it feels like when technology finally speaks a pet's language.

Original HTML

LINCOLN, Neb., Sept. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- New Sandhills Global market reports show continued inventory decreases for used heavy-duty construction equipment on MachineryTrader.com and other Sandhills platforms. Used crawler dozers and wheel loaders account for the most significant August inventory decreases month over month and year over year, respectively. Although asking and auction values are trending down in this market, there were marginal M/M upticks in August. While equipment dealers are reporting slower sales activity and more cautious buyers, rental demand remains strong.

Inventory levels of used tractors, combine harvesters, heavy- and medium-duty trucks, and semi-trailers are also trending down. Sandhills observed M/M value increases in several used farm equipment markets and among used trucks and semi-trailers in August.

The key metric in all of Sandhills' market reports is the Sandhills Equipment Value Index (EVI). Buyers and sellers can use the information in the Sandhills EVI to monitor equipment markets and maximize returns on acquisition, liquidation, and related business decisions. The Sandhills EVI data include equipment available in auction and retail markets and model-year equipment actively in use. EVI spread measures the percentage difference between asking and auction values.
