Potassic alteration and multiphase copper bearing porphyry veining intersected over 563 meters in TCDH-006, including 150 meters of intramineral porphyry. Assays pending.

VANCOUVER, BC, Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Quimbaya Gold Inc. (CSE: QIM) (OTCQX: QIMGF) (FSE: K05) ("Quimbaya" or the "Company") reports geological results from its initial drill program at Tahami Center, part of the Company's Tahami Project in Segovia, Antioquia, Colombia. Six holes totaling 2,927.9 meters have been completed to date. All six holes intersected a copper-molybdenum porphyry system modelled from surface mapping and three-dimensional magnetic inversion. Assays are pending.

Six holes totaling 2,927.9 meters were completed of a planned 5,000 meter program at Tahami Center.

All six holes intersected the copper-molybdenum porphyry system. Mineralization is variable between holes and, in places, marginal.

Potassic alteration with potassium feldspar, secondary biotite and magnetite is developed over approximately 563 meters in TCDH-006, from 96 meters to the bottom of the hole at 658.85 meters, including 150 meters of the principal intramineral porphyry between 294 and 444.40 meters.

Veinlet densities of up to 50 to 60 quartz, chalcopyrite and molybdenite veinlets per meter of core were logged in TCDH-006. All mineral identifications are visual and assays are pending.

TCDH-007 is collared and ready to drill on the same mineralized trend.

Assay results are expected in late September or October 2026.

Management Commentary

Alexandre P. Boivin, President and Chief Executive Officer, commented:

"We modelled this system from surface, and all six holes intersected the porphyry system as predicted by the exploration model. The drilling has given us the alteration zoning and the principal intramineral porphyry, which will help guide future drilling within the porphyry system. TCDH-007 is already collared on the trend this program defined. Assays are pending."

The Program

The program is designed to test the approximately 3.1 by 1.3 kilometer Tahami Center porphyry copper - molybdenum system as defined by surface mapping, soil and rock geochemistry, 3D Magnetic Vector Intensity modeling and Radiometric data. Six holes were drilled from four platforms between 21 May 2026 and 17 August 2026, for a total of 2,927.9 meters of a planned 5,000 meter program (Figure 1). End of hole depths were 294.30 meters (TCDH-001), 429.05 meters (TCDH-002), 602.25 meters (TCDH-003), 552.40 meters (TCDH-004), 391.05 meters (TCDH-005) and 658.85 meters (TCDH-006).

These initial drillholes were designed to establish whether a porphyry copper system is present, to map its architecture and alteration zoning, and to identify vectors toward the centers of mineralization for future drill testing. All six holes intersected the porphyry system. Five holes intersected intramineral porphyry, breccia and variable sulfide mineralization. TCDH-005 intersected crowded-texture intermineral porphyry from 137 meters to approximately 391 meters with high-temperature "B type" veinlets carrying chalcopyrite and molybdenite, and forms part of the same system, with mineralization in that hole visually estimated as marginal.

Potassic Alteration and the Intramineral Porphyry

TCDH-006 is the deepest hole of the program. It was drilled with an azimuth of 245 degrees at an inclination of -55 degrees, to a total depth of 658.85 meters (Figures 1 and 2).

Potassic alteration is present from approximately 96 meters to the end of the hole, a downhole interval of approximately 563 meters. The potassic assemblage comprises potassium feldspar with secondary biotite and magnetite, developed through that interval. The hole intersected the upper margin of the modelled potassic core, which remains open at depth and to the southeast (Figure 2).

Magmatic-hydrothermal breccia and intramineral porphyries were logged between 96 meters and 294 meters. From 294 meters to 444.40 meters the hole intersected fine-grained granodiorite porphyry of aplitic texture, the principal intramineral porphyry, with a high density of magnetite and chalcopyrite "M" veinlets, "A type" quartz veinlets and "EB type" veinlets containing secondary biotite and chalcopyrite. Sulfides within these veinlets comprise chalcopyrite, molybdenite and pyrite, estimated visually and not quantified. From 444.40 meters to the end of the hole, hydrothermal-magmatic breccias of the same igneous suite were logged (Figure 2).

Veinlet densities of up to 50 to 60 per linear meter were recorded. Chalcopyrite is present in the high-temperature "M", "A type" and "EB type" veinlets, and "EDM type" veinlets with biotite halos carry molybdenite (Figures 3 and 4).

The Company cautions that the intervals described in this news release are alteration and lithological intervals. They are not mineralized intervals, they are not assay intervals, and no grades are available for any part of the program.

TCDH-001 to TCDH-005

Drill hole TCDH-001 recorded the following zonation: a leached and oxidized cap containing hematite, hydrothermal cemented breccia, magmatic-hydrothermal breccia, intramineral aplitic granodiorite porphyry, and a potassic core of secondary biotite and magnetite. The hydrothermal breccia is cemented by silica, white mica and pyrite assemblage with minor chalcopyrite. At 278 meters the hole intersected aplitic-textured granodiorite porphyry carrying chalcopyrite and bornite. The hole was terminated at 294.30 meters due to poor ground conditions and ended in intramineral porphyry. Anhydrite occurs within multiple hydrothermal alteration assemblages.

TCDH-002 and TCDH-003 intersected hydrothermal and hydrothermal-magmatic breccias together with intramineral porphyries, secondary biotite and magnetite alteration, and quartz veinlet stockwork carrying variable chalcopyrite and molybdenite (Figure 5). TCDH-004 intersected chilled-texture intramineral porphyry with disseminated chalcopyrite and pyrite, "A type" veinlets and "EDM type" veinlets, with secondary biotite and anhydrite halo.

TCDH-005 intersected crowded-texture intermineral porphyry from 137 meters to approximately 391 meters, with secondary biotite and magnetite alteration and high-temperature "B type" veinlets carrying chalcopyrite and molybdenite. The hole forms part of the same porphyry system, with mineralization visually estimated as marginal.

Next Steps

The porphyry system is controlled by a northwest to southeast structural trend associated with multiple porphyry intrusions. Based on current drill results, the mineralized trend defined by this drilling constitutes the most prospective target identified to date for additional mineralized porphyry centers (Figure 1).

TCDH-007 has been collared approximately 410 meters northeast of TCDH-006, and will be drilled to a planned depth of 300 meters. Assay results from the initial six holes are expected in late September or October 2026.

Sampling and Quality Control

Drill core was logged and photographed by Company personnel under the supervision of the Qualified Person. Core samples were collected from half core intervals in HQ3 and NQ3 drill core over two meter sample lengths, with cuts oriented as close as possible to perpendicular to the observed structural fabric. Sample weights typically ranged from approximately two to three kilograms. Samples have been submitted to SGS, an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory independent of the Company.

Quimbaya has implemented a quality assurance and quality control program that includes the regular insertion of certified reference materials, blanks and field duplicates into the sample stream at an approximate rate of 15 to 20%. No analytical results have been received and none are reported in this news release. Sample preparation, analytical methods, detection limits and the quality control results for the program will be disclosed together with the assay results.

Note on Photographs and Visual Estimates

Photographs show selected intervals chosen to illustrate the features described and are not necessarily representative of the drill program as a whole. All mineral identifications are visual, made from drill core with a hand lens, and have not been confirmed by laboratory analysis. Visual estimates and veinlet counts are not a substitute for assay results and are not indicative of grade; readers should not draw conclusions as to grade or economic potential. Additional core photography will be published on the Company's social media channels.

FDA Advisory Panel Backs BPC-157 for 503A Bulks List in 8-6-1 Vote, Promise Analysis Finds

The July 2026 recommendation is non-binding and does not make BPC-157 FDA-approved; FDA staff proposed against inclusion, while a 2025 systematic review found 35 preclinical studies and one clinical study in scope.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- A July 2026 vote by the FDA Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee has put renewed attention on the regulatory status of BPC-157. According to client-supplied records and Promise's current regulatory article, committee members voted 8-6-1 to recommend adding both BPC-157 free base and BPC-157 acetate to the Section 503A Bulks List.

The recommendation is advisory, not final FDA action. Rulemaking remains pending, and BPC-157 is not FDA-approved. Promise's analysis finds that this distinction is central for patients trying to understand what the committee vote changed and what it did not. That distinction matters when patients encounter headlines about the committee vote.

The advisory vote did not approve BPC-157

FDA materials confirm that the committee considered BPC-157 free base and acetate during its July 23, 2026 meeting. FDA also states more broadly that advisory committee recommendations are non-binding.

FDA review staff had proposed that neither form be added to the 503A Bulks List. The favorable committee recommendation reflects disagreement between advisory members and FDA staff rather than an FDA endorsement.

FDA's BPC-157 briefing document also states that neither form has an applicable USP/NF drug-substance monograph and neither is a component of an FDA-approved drug. Inclusion on a compounding bulks list, if ultimately completed through rulemaking, would still not make a compounded preparation FDA-approved.

Human evidence remains limited

The regulatory discussion also comes against a limited human evidence base. A 2025 systematic review in HSS Journal identified 36 studies that met its inclusion criteria. Of those, 35 were preclinical and one was clinical. The review reported that it found no clinical safety data.

That imbalance matters because findings from laboratory or animal studies should not be translated into claims about human treatment outcomes. The available research can describe what has been studied, but it does not justify promises about safety, efficacy, healing, or recovery.

For patients, that means the committee vote should be understood as part of a regulatory process rather than as confirmation of clinical benefit.

Prescription access remains clinician-gated

Promise operates a doctor-guided telehealth platform in which treatment requests begin with an online medical evaluation. A licensed physician reviews the information and decides whether a prescription is appropriate.

If prescribed, the preparation is compounded and dispensed by a licensed U.S. pharmacy. The company says nothing is sold without provider review. That process is operational context, not evidence that BPC-157 is safe or effective, and provider approval is not automatic.

Methodology

Promise synthesized FDA materials from the July 2026 Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee meeting, FDA's BPC-157 briefing document, FDA guidance on compounded drugs, a 2025 peer-reviewed systematic review, and client-supplied operational information. No proprietary patient-outcome survey or efficacy dataset was used.

Frequently Asked Questions

The following questions address the regulatory status of BPC-157, the evidence base, and how clinician-guided access works.

What did the July 2026 advisory vote change?

The committee recommended adding BPC-157 free base and acetate to the Section 503A Bulks List. The recommendation is non-binding and did not itself complete FDA rulemaking.

Is BPC-157 FDA-approved?

BPC-157 is not FDA-approved, and compounded preparations are not FDA-approved drugs. The advisory vote did not change that status.

How much human evidence is available?

The 2025 systematic review included 36 studies, with 35 preclinical studies and one clinical study. It reported finding no clinical safety data.

How is BPC-157 prescribed through Promise?

The process begins with an online medical evaluation. A licensed physician determines whether prescribing is appropriate, and a licensed pharmacy compounds and dispenses the preparation if a prescription is issued.

About Promise

Promise is a doctor-guided telehealth platform founded in 2026 and based in Scottsdale, Arizona. It provides access to peptide therapy, weight management, and hormone care through licensed-provider review. BPC-157 is one of the compounded peptide programs offered through the platform.

Dr. Michael Riccobene celebrates teamwork, community and more than 25 years of growth as one of sports' most iconic trophies makes a special stop in Garner.

GARNER, N.C., Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- One of the most recognizable trophies in professional sports made a special appearance in Garner last week as the Stanley Cup visited Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry, bringing together team members, patients, and community members for a memorable celebration.

The visit was hosted by Dr. Michael Riccobene, founder and CEO of Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry, and offered an opportunity to recognize the values that have helped shape the organization since its founding: teamwork, leadership, perseverance, and community.

"Having the Stanley Cup at our Garner office was an incredible experience," said Michael Riccobene, D.D.S. "Championships are built by people who believe in one another and work toward a common goal. Those same principles have guided our organization from the very beginning, and it was exciting to celebrate that spirit with our team, patients, and community."

Founded by Dr. Riccobene in 2000, Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry began as a single practice in Selma, North Carolina, with a vision of delivering exceptional patient care while creating an environment where doctors and team members could thrive.

Over the past 26 years, that vision has expanded into one of the Southeast's leading doctor-led, multi-specialty dental organizations. Today, the Cary-headquartered organization serves communities throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia, supporting more than 150 providers, 1200+ employees, 100+ practices and offering comprehensive general and specialty dental care.

Despite its growth, Dr. Riccobene remains focused on the culture known as "The Riccobene Way," which emphasizes patient-first care, teamwork, leadership, and treating people like family.

Riccobene's own story began in his family's bakery, where his first job was washing pots and pans. He often credits those early experiences with teaching him the value of hard work, perseverance and teamwork, lessons that later shaped his approach to building a dental organization.

For Riccobene Associates, the Stanley Cup visit represented more than a photo opportunity. It served as a celebration of the employees, doctors, patients, and communities who have contributed to the organization's success over the past quarter century.

"Success is never about one person," Riccobene said. "Whether in sports, business or healthcare, great things happen when great people come together."

Looking beyond raw numbers: Farmers Insurance® reveals where animal collisions make up the biggest share of comprehensive losses
Image File
Original HTML

Analysis of Farmers® claims data found that in some states, animal collisions account for nearly three-quarters of comprehensive loss causes, offering a clearer picture of where wildlife has the greatest impact on drivers.

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., September 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- As drivers prepare for peak deer season this fall, Farmers Insurance® analyzed three years of claims data to identify where animal collisions make up the largest share of comprehensive loss causes. Rather than focusing on claim volume alone, the analysis examined the percentage of animal collision losses compared to all comprehensive losses within each state, revealing where wildlife plays a big role in roadway risk. Farmers' full report, Which States Have the Most Animal Collisions, provides findings and practical tips to help reduce the risk of an animal collision.

"Looking at the percentage of animal collisions relative to other comprehensive losses gives us a clearer picture of where wildlife is having the greatest impact on drivers," said Jonathan Hart, Head of National Auto Physical Damage & Regional Claims at Farmers. "In some states, animal collisions aren't just occasional incidents. They're a significant roadway risk. As animal activity increases during the fall months, it's a good reminder for drivers to stay alert, especially on rural roads and during low-light hours when wildlife is most active."

Animal collisions have an outsized impact in certain states1

In some states, animal collisions account for more than two-thirds of comprehensive loss causes.

- Montana (74%)

- Michigan (72%)

- Iowa (71%)

- South Dakota (70%)

- North Dakota (68%)

- West Virginia (66%)

- Wisconsin (66%)

- Wyoming (65%)

- Minnesota (64%)

- New York (64%)

- Kansas (63%)

- Mississippi (61%)

- Arkansas (60%)

- Virginia (59%)

- Ohio (57%)

Three noticeable patterns in the data

- Rural road networks are a common thread. States with expansive rural road networks account for many of the highest percentages.

- America's "wildlife collision belt" stands out. A broad Upper Midwest and Northern Plains corridor accounts for six of the top 10 states.

- It's not just a mountain-state issue. Several Eastern states, including West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio, and New York, also ranked among the highest.

A different view of where wildlife poses the greatest risk

Animal collisions tell a different story when viewed as a share of each state's comprehensive losses. This perspective brings states with fewer drivers – but a disproportionately high concentration of wildlife-related losses – into sharper focus.

The result is a clearer view of where animal collisions represent a larger share of comprehensive losses, rather than simply where the greatest number of claims occur.

Fall remains a critical time for wildlife awareness

According to Farmers claims data, animal collisions occur most frequently from October through December, when deer activity increases. In some states, Farmers recorded animal collision losses only during this three-month period—yet those incidents still accounted for the majority of comprehensive loss causes statewide1. Collisions with animals are also more common around sunrise and sunset, so drivers should remain especially alert on rural roads and in wooded corridors.

Does insurance cover hitting a deer?

Damage from hitting a deer or another animal is typically covered by comprehensive coverage – not collision coverage. That's because comprehensive coverage generally helps pay for damage caused by events other than a collision with another vehicle or stationary object, including contact with animals. Comprehensive coverage is optional in most states, and coverage can vary based on the policy and circumstances of a claim. Drivers should consider reviewing their policy with an insurance agent to understand their coverage, deductible and limits and make sure the policy fits their needs.

Five ways to reduce risk of an animal collision

- Slow down. This may help reaction time.

- Watch for wildlife at dawn and dusk.

- Break, don't swerve.

- Use high beams when safe.

- Buckle up.

Understanding when and where animal collisions are most likely can help drivers stay alert and make safer choices behind the wheel. For the complete findings and additional safety guidance, visit Farmers.com to read Which States Have the Most Animal Collisions.

1 Rankings are based on Farmers Insurance® claims data for losses occurring between August 1, 2023, and July 31, 2026. Farmers analyzed the percentage of animal collision loss causes relative to total comprehensive loss causes within each state, rather than ranking states by claim volume. States were ranked based on this ratio.

Pexar, Powered by Lexar, Launches PexarBolt Ultra TBT5 Dock with a 5-Inch Visual Dashboard

Featuring a Built-In 10GbE Port, CFexpress Type B Slot, and Dedicated SSD Slot for High-Speed Workflows

BERLIN, Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Pexar, a smart device brand powered by Lexar, today launched its Kickstarter campaign for the PexarBolt Ultra TBT5 Dock, a 5-inch touch control dashboard designed with a simple goal: see your workflow, control your desk. Powered by Thunderbolt 5 and compatible with both macOS and Windows systems, the PexarBolt Dock provides up to 80 Gbps of bidirectional bandwidth, with Bandwidth Boost delivering up to 120 Gbps of transmit bandwidth for display-intensive workflows. A single Thunderbolt 5 cable connects to all 22 ports, including 10GbE, an NVMe slot, and CFexpress Type B.

The world's first touch control dashboard on a Thunderbolt 5 dock

The PexarBolt Dock integrates a 5-inch touch control dashboard that displays real-time status for every connected device. Users can monitor connection status, transfer activity, storage information, real-time power readings on supported ports, and the dock's temperature and fan status at a glance. Keeping this information directly on the dock makes it easier to check device activity and identify unexpected transfer slowdowns without interrupting the workflow. A precision metal dial enables tactile navigation and, within AI Status, lets users approve or reject requests from supported AI coding agents directly from the dock.

Every port a pro needs, in one dock

PexarBolt Dock has a 22-in-1 Pro Port Matrix to handle professional media storage types as well as peripheral devices. Dedicated CFexpress Type B, SD UHS-II, and microSD UHS-II card readers streamline media ingest, while the integrated PCIe Gen 4 x2 M.2 NVMe SSD slot lets users install their own SSD for local backup or storage expansion. Two downstream Thunderbolt 5 ports, together with DisplayPort 2.1 or HDMI 2.1, support multi-display configurations up to dual 8K 60Hz or triple 4K 144Hz. A 10GbE port provides high-speed connectivity to network-attached storage (NAS) systems and compatible networks.

Wait less, do more

Built on Thunderbolt 5, PexarBolt Dock provides up to 80 Gb/s of bidirectional bandwidth, with Bandwidth Boost delivering up to 120 Gb/s of transmit bandwidth for display-intensive workflows. Its thermally controlled cooling system tracks fan speed in real time and channels airflow through a dedicated internal path, keeping performance stable even under sustained heavy use.

A premium, space-saving design

PexarBolt Dock brings its extensive connectivity into a stylish, compact desktop design with an aluminum build that adds stability and helps with heat dissipation. A single Thunderbolt cable connects compatible laptops, desktops, and workstations to displays, storage, networking, and peripherals. The Thunderbolt 5 host port supports up to 140W USB PD 3.1 charging for compatible laptops, while two front USB-C ports share up to 45W for charging phones, tablets, and other accessories.

"We're in an era where every device on your desk has a screen and a brain — except your dock. We built PexarBolt Ultra TBT5 Dock to close that gap. For the first time, every port, every transfer, every watt is visible, right where you work," said Wilson Chen, Founder of Pexar.

Recognition

The PexarBolt Ultra TBT5 Dock has been named a 2026 IFA Innovation Awards Honoree in the Content Creation Technology category.

Availability

The PexarBolt Ultra TBT5 Dock launches on Kickstarter on Sept. 8 at an early-bird price of US$479. Following the campaign, the dock will be available at its official retail price of US$649.

Full product information is available on Pexar's website.

Harbor Compliance Accelerates Growth Strategy, Earns 8th Inc. 5000 Recognition

New CEO, Strengthened Board, and Growth Investment from Bregal Sagemount Fuel the Company's Next Phase of Expansion

LANCASTER, Pa., Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Harbor Compliance, a leading provider of compliance, licensing, and registered agent services, is executing an ambitious growth strategy backed by new leadership, a strengthened board, and a committed capital partner. That momentum is reflected in the company's eighth appearance on the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies, with three-year revenue growth of 55 percent.

In February 2026, Harbor Compliance secured a majority growth investment from Bregal Sagemount, a growth-focused private capital firm, and appointed Chad Nuss as Chief Executive Officer. Industry veteran John Weber, former CEO of CT Corporation, joined the company's board of directors alongside partners from Bregal Sagemount, bringing decades of regulatory and compliance leadership to guide the company's next phase. The investment is fueling continued expansion of Harbor Compliance's regulatory data, software, and managed services — the same combination that has driven the company's growth since it was founded in 2012 and that today serves more than 40,000 customers nationwide.

"This recognition reflects the alignment we have across our leadership team, board, and investors around a single strategy: making compliance simple for the customers we serve," said Chad Nuss, CEO of Harbor Compliance. "Sustaining growth over eight years means making our customers' lives easier no matter how fast requirements change. That's why we listen to the needs in the market, continue to expand our compliance services, and deliver additional capabilities through technology. Organizations can see and address their full compliance picture in one place rather than piecing it together state by state. This complete regulatory compliance is the peace of mind organizations are asking for."

"Harbor Compliance has the rare combination of a differentiated product, a large and growing market, and a leadership team that knows how to execute," said John Weber, board member and former CEO of CT Corporation. "That combination is why the board and our investment partners are confident in the company's path forward."

Through a unique combination of proprietary data, advanced software, and expert support, Harbor Compliance helps businesses and nonprofits manage the registration rules, licensing categories, renewal calendars, and reporting obligations that vary by jurisdiction and change with little warning. From a single interface, users can track renewal dates, assign tasks to colleagues, store records, and access registered agent documents. The software is available as a service and also serves as the foundation of the company's managed services.

About Harbor Compliance

Harbor Compliance helps organizations simplify regulatory compliance. Through Harbor Everywhere, Harbor Compliance delivers its purpose-built entity, licensing, tax registration, and registered agent data directly inside the operational systems organizations already use to run their business. Trusted by more than 40,000 organizations nationwide, Harbor Compliance combines purpose-built technology with expert support to help organizations stay compliant and confidently grow across jurisdictions.
