SkylineDx Expands Direct U.S. Commercial and Clinical Investment to Accelerate Access to Merlin™ CP-GEP

- SkylineDx completes transition from third-party commercialization to a fully integrated U.S. commercial model, establishing a dedicated sales, marketing and clinical organization of more than 25 professionals strategically positioned across key U.S. markets

- The continuing expansion builds on landmark clinical and regulatory milestones for Merlin CP-GEP, including publication of the prospective, blinded MERLIN_001 trial, recognition in the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®), and FDA Breakthrough Device Designation

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands and SAN DIEGO, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- SkylineDx, an innovative diagnostics company specializing in the research, development and commercialization of molecular diagnostics for dermatology and oncology, today announced the continued expansion of its direct commercial and clinical presence in the United States, marking a significant milestone in the company's commitment to supporting clinicians and expanding patient access to Merlin CP-GEP¹.

When SkylineDx initially began commercializing Merlin CP-GEP in the United States, the company utilized third-party distribution and licensing collaborations to establish market access and introduce the test to U.S. clinicians. In early 2025, SkylineDx made the strategic decision to transition to a direct commercial model and invest in its own U.S.-based sales, marketing and clinical organization.

That initial build-out is now complete; SkylineDx has concluded its third-party U.S. commercialization collaborations and has now established a fully integrated direct commercial organization responsible for supporting healthcare professionals, institutions, and patients across the country. With this foundation in place, SkylineDx continues to expand its commercial capabilities and geographic reach to support the growing adoption of Merlin CP-GEP.

The expansion reflects SkylineDx's belief that bringing an innovative molecular diagnostic into clinical practice requires more than making a test commercially available. It requires direct engagement with clinicians, responsive clinical and operational support, education around the scientific evidence, and a long-term commitment to the institutions and healthcare professionals incorporating the technology into patient care.

"Our strategy is straightforward: if we want clinicians to have the highest level of service, scientific support and access to Merlin CP-GEP, we need to be directly invested in the market," said Dharminder Chahal, CEO of SkylineDx. "We have moved from three sales representatives in early 2025 to a multidisciplinary U.S. organization of more than 25 people, with most of that investment in professionals working directly with clinicians in key territories. This is not simply a commercial expansion—it represents our long-term commitment to the U.S. melanoma community."

The company's commercial expansion coincides with important clinical, guidelines, and regulatory milestones for Merlin CP-GEP.

The MERLIN_001 trial², conducted in collaboration with leading U.S. academic institutions, provided prospective, blinded validation of Merlin CP-GEP in patients with melanoma. Following the publication of these results, CP-GEP (Merlin CP-GEP) received recognition in the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®) for melanoma ³, further supporting its role in informing sentinel lymph node biopsy decision-making in appropriately selected patients.

In 2026, Merlin CP-GEP also received Breakthrough Device Designation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), representing another important milestone in SkylineDx's efforts to advance more individualized melanoma care.

Together, these achievements have reinforced the company's decision to invest directly in the U.S. market and build the infrastructure necessary to support broader clinical adoption. SkylineDx intends to deepen this commitment as Merlin CP-GEP adoption grows, while also investing in additional clinical evidence, medical education, and collaborations with leading melanoma centers.

"Our clinical progress and our commercial investment go hand in hand," added Chahal. "The prospective MERLIN_001 evidence, NCCN Guidelines® recognition and FDA Breakthrough Device Designation provide a strong foundation. Our responsibility now is to ensure clinicians across the United States have the access, education and direct support necessary to translate that evidence into patient care."

About Merlin CP-GEP

Merlin CP-GEP is a molecular test developed to provide additional information regarding a melanoma patient's risk of sentinel lymph node metastasis. By combining clinicopathologic factors with gene expression profiling, Merlin CP-GEP is designed to support more individualized clinical decision-making regarding sentinel lymph node biopsy. Merlin CP-GEP is now the first and only melanoma gene expression profiling test that is both designated as an FDA Breakthrough Device and recognized in the NCCN Guidelines® for T1b and T2a cutaneous melanoma patients.

Neakasa Riko Honored with the IFA 2026 Innovation Award at IFA Berlin

BERLIN, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Neakasa, a global provider of smart pet care solutions, announced at IFA 2026 in Berlin that its Riko smart wet-meal feeder has been named an IFA 2026 Innovation Award Honoree, recognizing its innovative approach to automated wet-meal feeding for cats.

Unlike conventional automatic feeders that store prepared wet food, Riko stores freeze-dried food in its dry form and automatically grinds and mixes it with water at scheduled feeding times. Each meal is prepared on demand according to the selected portion and hydration level, offering a new approach to incorporating freshly prepared wet meals into a cat's daily feeding routine.

Riko supports adjustable water-to-food ratios from 1:1 to 5:1, more than 20 scheduled meals per day, and portions from 1 to 15 grams. Its 3L food bin and 2.4L water tank can support up to 10 days of automated feeding for one 12-pound adult cat, depending on feeding amounts and schedules. The Neakasa app allows owners to manage feeding schedules, portions, food and water levels, and feeding history.

Neakasa Riko officially launches across all platforms on September 8, 2026.

Also showcased at IFA 2026, the Neakasa M9 Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box attracted strong interest from visitors with its focus on structural safety, cat comfort, and simplified maintenance.

M9 features TILT-SAFE Rotation, a structural design that keeps the litter chamber open throughout the cleaning cycle and reduces areas where a cat could potentially become trapped or pinched. Its 96L OpenView Cabin provides a spacious interior with open sightlines, while the PureTower Odor Control System combines activated carbon and a desiccant layer to help reduce odors and manage moisture. A low-entry design with an approximately 26 cm entrance makes access easier for kittens and senior cats.

Throughout IFA 2026, Riko and M9 drew strong attention at Neakasa's booth. Riko's IFA 2026 Innovation Award recognition, alongside positive visitor response, highlights Neakasa's commitment to smart pet care solutions combining intelligent technology, thoughtful design, and everyday convenience.

The Neakasa M9 will officially launch across all channels on October 9, 2026. Stay tuned for its official launch and more details.

A design that inspires you to take it everywhere and keep shooting—dust & splash proof and equipped with an electronic viewfinder.

The PEN is the first camera to be introduced under the PEN name by OM SYSTEM. With a rangefinder-style design that has been loved for generations for its everyday usability, the PEN features a design that is both timeless and modern. Although the overall aesthetic focuses on straight lines, this camera also incorporates firm, curved surfaces that fit comfortably in the hand, balancing a quality feel with a secure grip. v

It is also compact and supremely portable, making it easy to carry in everyday situations or on a journey, and is equipped with an electronic viewfinder for better visibility and usability when shooting. Users can enjoy the unique process of shooting with a camera, looking through the viewfinder while adjusting the aperture value and shutter speed to achieve the image they want.

This model is also the first camera in the PEN series to feature IPX1-rated1 splash proof performance and a dustproof design. Sealing materials are incorporated at key points throughout the camera body, allowing photographers to shoot with confidence even when faced with sudden changes in the weather.

In addition to design aesthetics and portability, the PEN offers excellent shooting performance. The TruePic IX image processing engine, 20.37 million effective pixel Live MOS sensor, and high-resolution M.ZUIKO DIGITAL lens deliver excellent image quality. The PEN also features 5-axis image stabilization compatible with all mountable Micro Four Thirds System standard lenses, greatly enhancing hand-held shooting with up to 5.5 stops2 of stabilization in the center and up to 4.5 stops2 at the edges.

Color & Monochrome Profile Control that provides film-like image tone and expression.

Presets can be selected such as choosing a color or black-and-white film setting, making it easy to explore different photographic styles.  Users can enjoy photographic expression with colors and textures that reflect their own preferences, whether rendering city streets with a nostalgic air, creating a soft, delicate atmosphere, or capturing striking monochrome images. Users can also check and adjust the effects of presets when shooting through the viewfinder, making it easier to create original photographic styles. The Profile Control Switch on the front of the camera offers single-press access to this function while holding the camera.

Profile control can also be applied when shooting video (with the exception of S&Q).

Color Profile Control

During color photography, the saturation of 12 separate colors can be adjusted in 11 levels to achieve the ideal tones. This can also be combined with Highlight & Shadow Control or shading effects for an expanded range of expression. We offer four preset types: "Film Rich Color," for rich, deep tones, "Film Vivid," for vivid saturation and rich colors, "Film Soft Tone," which delivers light, soft tones, and Standard (Natural).

Monochrome Profile Control

Users can combine five effects that are essential for black and white photography, including color filter effect, Highlight & Shadow Control, shading effects, film grain effect, and tone effect for truly unique black and white images.

Four presets are available: Film B&W, which makes use of a film grain effect, Film IR, which emphasizes a red color filter effect that looks like infrared film, Film Low Contrast, which reduces the contrast for a soft impression, and Standard (Monotone).

Computational photography features, a new photographic expression driven by digital technology

Compositing techniques that generally require a PC during post-processing are now available in-camera thanks to computational photography. Simply capturing images with the PEN allows users to create new photographic expressions with the latest digital technology, from more dramatic landscapes and cityscapes to depictions of flowing water as smooth and delicate as silk.

The CP button is included on the camera to activate computational photography for easier access to some of these functions. Press and hold the CP button while turning the Control Dial to switch to the following shooting functions: Tripod High Res Shot Mode, Handheld High Res Shot, Live ND (ND2-16), Focus Stacking, HDR (HDR1 and 2), and Multiple Exposure.

Other Features

- 121-point all cross-type On-chip Phase Detection AF

Nomentia launches new modules for the foundation of modern treasury

New capabilities across AI, analytics, predictive forecasting, intercompany processes, hedge accounting and scenario analysis extend Nomentia's Smart Treasury Suite with greater intelligence, control and forward-looking insight.

ESPOO, Finland, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Nomentia, a leading European provider of treasury and cash management solutions, today announced a major expansion of its Smart Treasury Suite, introducing new capabilities designed to help treasury and finance teams connect operational control with better insight and faster decision-making.

Treasury teams are increasingly expected to answer broader questions about liquidity, payments, financial risk, and future cash positions, while the information required to answer them remains distributed across systems, spreadsheets, and processes. Nomentia's Smart Treasury Suite is built around a connected foundation where bank and ERP data, treasury workflows, controls, reporting, and intelligence can work together.

The latest developments extend this foundation across six areas:

- Nomentia Analytics and natural-language reporting bring embedded reporting into Nomentia, including out-of-the-box reports maintained by Nomentia experts and additional self-service reporting for more specific analysis. With Nomentia AI, users can also ask ad-hoc questions in natural language to their data and dashboards rather than repeatedly exporting and rebuilding data.

- Nomentia Predictive Forecasting creates an AI-generated short, mid- and long-term forecast from historical cash flow data. It sits alongside existing liquidity and subsidiary forecasts, giving finance and treasury teams an independent forecast to use directly, identify differences, challenge assumptions, and strengthen forecast confidence and accuracy.

- Nomentia AI and AI Agents provide natural-language access to treasury information and governed platform automations. Answers are based on live, permission-scoped data, while calculations remain within deterministic platform services. AI-proposed changes keep a human in the loop and existing controls take also effect for AI workflows. Empowering customers to automate their processes within the suite and outside using our MCP tools.

- Intercompany Netting supports a more structured approach to internal obligations and settlements, helping organizations reduce unnecessary internal payment flows and improve control over liquidity held across the group.

- Nomentia Hedge Accounting supports the cash flow hedge lifecycle under IFRS 9 or other local GAP, including hedge documentation, effectiveness assessment and accounting entries for FX and interest-rate hedging.

- Scenario Analysis adds a forward-looking what-if perspective to treasury decision-making, allowing teams to assess how changing assumptions may affect liquidity and financial risk while keeping contingent items such as guarantees visible in the wider financial picture.

The new capabilities are designed to work within the same treasury environment rather than as separate layers of technology that finance teams need to connect and maintain themselves.

"Treasury teams need to answer increasingly complex questions while the answer still matters. That requires more than access to data. It requires a reliable foundation where information, controls and workflows are already connected. The latest developments in the Nomentia Smart Treasury Suite give finance teams more ways to streamline their processes, analyse what is happening, anticipate what may happen next and act within the governance their organisation requires," explains Marc Vietor, Chief Product Officer at Nomentia.

Building intelligence on top of treasury operations

Nomentia's approach to AI follows the same principle. Nomentia AI works within the permissions and controls already defined in the platform rather than creating a separate AI environment around treasury data. Users can ask questions about cash, payments, counterparties, entities or other available information in plain language, while approved AI-agents and MCP tools interactions can access governed platform services through the same control model. Customers can in addition use Nomantia AI through their preferred AI platforms like ChatGPT, Claude or Microsoft Copilot.

Cash Flow Forecasting applies statistical and AI models to historical actual transactions to create a separate forecast. Treasury teams can compare the result with existing forecasts and actual outcomes within Nomentia Liquidity, using AI as an additional perspective rather than handing forecast ownership to a model. Plus reducing effort in the subsidiaries doing manual forecasts.

Nomentia Analytics addresses another recurring treasury challenge: turning operational data into information that finance can use without rebuilding the same reports every reporting cycle. Best practice dashboards provide a consistent basis for recurring analysis, while self-service capabilities support questions that fall outside the standard reporting view.

"Technology delivery has never moved in a straight line, and AI has only widened the gap between standing still and moving forward. Our product teams don't build to keep pace, they build to stay ahead of it. This release is six areas of real capability, and every one of them came out of sitting with customers and listening hard to what they actually need, not what's easy to ship," adds Alexander von Schirmeister, CEO at Nomentia.

Modernisation without another disconnected system

Nomentia found that most treasury teams already work across multiple systems and that integration complexity remains a main barrier to further modernisation. The same research found broad interest in modular treasury solutions that can be introduced progressively, rather than requiring a wholesale replacement of the existing environment.

The Smart Treasury Suite follows this modular approach. Organisations can take individual areas of treasury into use while keeping data, workflows and controls connected across the wider platform.

"Modern treasury does not become more effective simply by adding more applications," Marc Vietor continued. "The value comes from making the different parts of treasury work together so that finance teams spend less time reconstructing the picture and more time deciding what to do with it."

The expanded Smart Treasury Suite builds on Nomentia's existing capabilities across payments, bank & ERP connectivity, cash & liquidity management, and treasury& risk management.
