Ende 2019 lernte Sondershausen Christian Haag kennen.

Gehalt allein schafft keine langfristige Bindung

China Bound • Beijing' English-language smart travel platform launched

BEIJING, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- A news report from chinadaily.com.cn:

On Sept 9, China Daily and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism jointly launched the "China Bound • Beijing" English-language smart travel platform at the World Conference on Tourism Cooperation and Development in Beijing.

"China Bound • Beijing" is a city-level platform under China Daily's "China Bound" English-language smart travel platform. It includes an English-language website (www.chinabound.cn/beijing), Beijing city pages on the Alipay mini-program and the WeChat mini-program. The platform aims to provide overseas visitors to Beijing with one-stop services covering the entire travel journey, from finding inspiration and planning itineraries to getting around the city with ease. It offers international visitors a convenient way to discover Beijing, a city with more than 3,000 years of history, while experiencing its unique charm firsthand.

Zhu Baoxia, deputy publisher of China Daily, and Zheng Fang, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, officially launched the platform. Guo Huaigang, secretary general of World Tourism Cities Federation and the director general of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, presided over the conference, which runs through Sept 11.

The "China Bound • Beijing" English website features nine sections: "Uniquely in Beijing", "Know Before You Go", "Taste of Beijing", "Trending Places", "What to Buy", "Where to Stay", "Festivals & Events", "Countryside Getaways" and "Living Traditions". Covering everything from Beijing's rich cultural heritage and everyday city life to travel information and accommodation, contemporary trends and traditional craftsmanship, the website presents a vibrant portrait of Beijing where the ancient and modern flourish in splendor. It is optimized for both desktop and mobile devices, automatically adapting to users' devices for a seamless browsing experience.

Both the Alipay and WeChat "China Bound" mini-programs feature dedicated Beijing pages. Users can search for "ChinaBound" or "游在中国" on Alipay or WeChat to enter the mini-program, then select the "Beijing" page to explore information on Beijing's culture and tourism. The mini-programs also provide a range of convenient services, including itinerary planning, flight and train ticket bookings, accommodation reservations, smart translation, transportation, currency conversion, and online payment.

To better meet travelers' individual needs, the "China Bound • Beijing" platform has also introduced an AI assistant. By clicking "Kuki", the panda AI assistant of "China Bound", users can start an interactive Q&A service and receive itinerary planning, information searches, guided tours and intelligent travel assistance — creating a personalized smart guide experience that is "thoughtfully by your side anytime, anywhere".

The launch was witnessed by Sima Hong, vice-mayor of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality and the executive vice-chair of the WTCF Council; Olaf McKay, mayor of Valletta, Malta; Ben Montgomery, vice-chair of the Pacific Asia Travel Association; Zheng Hao, vice-president and secretary-general of the World Tourism Alliance; Liu Zhaohui, vice-president of the International Mountain Tourism Alliance; as well as city representatives, international travel trade representatives, and diplomatic and consular officials from more than 50 countries and regions.

With China introducing a series of measures — including visa-free transit policies — inbound tourism to Beijing has continued to gather momentum. According to a report on Beijing's economic and social development during the first seven months of 2026, the number of inbound visitors to Beijing and their tourism spending surged by 32.4 percent and 39.7 percent year-on-year, respectively.

China Daily is actively fulfilling its mission to "bridging China and the world". It is committed to developing "China Bound" as a smart international tourism service platform and helping remove barriers faced by overseas travelers visiting China.

Moving forward, "China Bound • Beijing" will work with cultural and tourism authorities at all levels in Beijing, cultural venues and other related service providers to offer overseas visitors more reliable and high-quality content, more engaging storytelling, and more tangible and convenient travel experiences. By combining smart, precise and thoughtful one-stop services, the platform aims to build an important bridge for international visitors — from their first glimpse of Beijing to a deeper understanding of the city — sharing Beijing's stories with the world and contributing to greater cultural exchanges and mutual understanding between China and the rest of the world.

How to effectively leverage AI-powered intelligent displays and cloud collaboration to transform the full teaching lifecycle

HANGZHOU, China, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The education sector is entering a period of rapid digital transformation, with AI technologies reshaping expectations and amplifying good educational practices across primary, secondary, and higher education establishments. As generative AI and intelligent systems become more widely adopted, institutions are now expected to support in-person, remote, and blended learning simultaneously while maintaining consistency in teaching quality and student engagement. Educators face mounting pressure from heavy preparation workloads, inefficient classroom interactions, and fragmented teaching data. Students, meanwhile, expect increasingly engaging and personalized learning experiences.

A new generation of AI-enabled, education-first designed solutions—such as Hikvision's WonderHub—is beginning to address these challenges. By combining intelligent interactive flat panel displays (IFPDs) with cloud-based collaboration and management platforms, educational institutions can create connected classrooms that support teachers across lesson planning, delivery, and follow-up.

AV Magazine and Hikvision have collaborated to release a new white paper for IT decision-makers and education leaders, providing a strategic overview of how to achieve smart education by transforming the full teaching lifecycle through AI-centered interactive flat panel displays and cloud collaboration.

Moving Beyond One-Size-Fits-All Care: Liberty POST Brings a Whole-Child Approach to "All Access hosted by Andy Garcia"

An upcoming Public Television feature explores how connection, relationships, and family partnership help children with autism grow and thrive.

NEW YORK, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- A new educational feature on All Access hosted by Andy Garcia explores how individualized, relationship-based care can help children with autism build meaningful connections and develop skills that extend far beyond the therapy setting. The segment, filmed at Liberty POST, the early childhood division of Liberty Resources and comprehensive provider of pediatric developmental and therapy services across New York State, offers a firsthand look at how clinicians, families, caregivers, and educators work together to understand and support each child as a whole person.

At Liberty POST, effective autism support begins with recognizing that no two children experience or interact with the world in exactly the same way. Rather than focusing solely on a diagnosis or a set of developmental challenges, Liberty POST's multidisciplinary teams seek to understand each child's individual strengths, needs, interests, relationships, and environment. Areas of difficulty become opportunities to better understand the child and discover how they learn, communicate, engage, and connect with others.

Central to Liberty POST's approach is the belief that relationships provide the foundation for development. For children with autism, the ways in which connection is experienced or expressed may look different. The work begins by understanding what connection means for each individual child and finding ways to build trust and meaningful relationships that make sense to them. From that foundation, clinicians can support social-emotional development, communication, independence, and skill building in ways that are meaningful to the child.

"We are incredibly proud to share Liberty POST's work with a national audience," said Kelli Harris, CEO of Liberty Resources. "Through this feature, we hope to deepen understanding of neurodiversity, celebrate the strengths and potential of every child, and highlight the importance of creating communities where every child feels understood, valued, and supported."

"Connection is fundamental to the human experience, but how a child experiences and expresses that connection can look very different from one child to another," said Laura Zaferakis, Vice President of Liberty POST. "At Liberty POST, our job is to meet children where they are, understand how they experience the world, and build the relationships that allow them to feel safe, connected, and ready to grow. We don't see a child as a diagnosis or a collection of deficits. We see the whole child, and we work alongside their family to turn challenges into opportunities for connection, development, and greater independence."

Family partnership is at the heart of Liberty POST's model, and no single clinician or discipline is expected to understand a child in isolation. Clinical information and data help inform treatment, but they represent only one part of understanding a child. Parents and caregivers bring invaluable knowledge of who their child is, while clinicians, educators, and other members of the care team bring their own expertise and perspective. Together, they develop an individualized approach built around the whole child, helping ensure that progress made in therapy translates into meaningful changes in daily life. By creating consistency across home, school, therapy, and other environments, the team can equip families with practical strategies that become part of everyday routines and relationships.

The All Access feature provides an opportunity to broaden public understanding of autism and neurodiversity while sharing a message that extends well beyond the Liberty POST story: meaningful support begins with seeing the child first. Differences in communication, social interaction, or behavior do not define a child's potential. When families and professionals work together, prioritize relationships, and seek to understand how an individual child experiences and connects with the world, challenges can become opportunities for connection, confidence, independence, and growth.

Taiyo Holdings Launches Next-generation Semiconductor-packaging Material "FPIM Series," Achieving Its First Three-layer RDL Formation with 700-nm CD on 12-inch Wafers

- Paper Presented at IEEE ESTC 2026, International Conference on Semiconductor- and Electronic Device-packaging Technologies and Related Materials -

TOKYO, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Taiyo Holdings Co., Ltd. (Securities code: 4626; hereinafter "Taiyo Holdings"), based in Tokyo, presented a paper on September 10, 2026, at the 11th IEEE Electronics System-Integration Technology Conference (IEEE ESTC 2026), held in Helsinki, Finland, on the "FPIM Series" (hereinafter the "Material"), a next-generation semiconductor-packaging material. The FPIM Series is a fine-pitch RDL (*1) negative-tone i-line photosensitive insulating material for dual damascene processes.

This paper was co-authored with imec, one of the world's largest semiconductor research institutes. The RDL is a key technology in advanced semiconductor-packaging structures, enabling more efficient electrical connections. Currently, RDLs are manufactured mainly using the semi-additive process (SAP) (*2). According to imec, as the industry pursues increasingly fine-pitch wiring, the dual damascene process (*3) will become essential for forming wiring with pitches of 1.6 micrometers or less. To address this, Taiyo Holdings developed the Material as a next-generation fine-pitch RDL material for dual damascene processes and began joint research with imec in October 2022. In November 2025, the two organizations presented a co-authored paper on the formation of a three-layer RDL structure with a CD (*4) of 1.6 micrometers on 12-inch wafers.

In this research, a three-layer RDL structure was formed on 12-inch wafers using the Material and evaluated. As a result, the target dimension of 700-nm CD was achieved for both interconnects and vias. The 700-nm CD metal 1 layer (M1) also demonstrated favorable electrical characteristics in terms of leakage current and resistance. Through this joint research with imec, it was confirmed that the Material offers excellent electrical characteristics and high resolution and is suitable for use with the CMP process (*5). These results represent an important achievement in interconnect technology for next-generation advanced packaging, paving the way for the future development of submicron-class RDL design rules.

Going forward, Taiyo Holdings aims to achieve RDL formation with a CD of 500 nm or less on wafers, while continuing to verify the long-term performance and reliability of the electrical characteristics. The company will continue developing materials that contribute to the growth of the semiconductor packaging field, such as by enabling further improvements in the performance of AI semiconductors. Taiyo Holdings also began shipping small-volume samples of the Material for R&D applications in 2025.

Notes:

(*1) RDL (redistribution layer) is a layer formed on the surface of a semiconductor chip to redistribute electrical wiring.

(*2) A method in which a thin seed layer is formed over the entire surface, followed by electroplating to form wiring patterns in designated areas.

(*3) A method in which wiring trenches are formed in an insulating film and then filled by sputtering, CVD, electroplating, or similar methods to form wiring patterns.

(*4) CD (critical dimension) refers to the dimensions of fine patterns.

(*5) The CMP process (chemical mechanical planarization/polishing) is a semiconductor-manufacturing process that chemically and mechanically planarizes the wafer surface.
