Twice-yearly training led by Steve Bobowski and Renee Martin will give the growing Carbliss team a shared language for communication and leadership

PLYMOUTH, Wis., Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Carbliss, today announced a new partnership with Dale Carnegie of Eastern Wisconsin to provide ongoing leadership and communication training for its entire team. Beginning next year, Carbliss will bring its team together from across it's selling states, twice annually for training led directly by Steve Bobowski and Renee Martin, owners and operators of Dale Carnegie of Eastern Wisconsin.

The initiative, spearheaded by Corrina Molinaro, Director of Human Resources at Carbliss, grew out of a long-standing relationship between Steve, Renee, and Carbliss CoFounders Adam and Amanda Kroener. Steve and Renee's coaching has shaped Adam and Amanda personally and professionally for years, and as Carbliss has grown, that same training has already made an impact across the company. Formalizing the partnership was a natural next step, and a priority, for a company built on the belief that culture is what allows a fast growing team to stay aligned.

As Carbliss adds new team members across the country, giving everyone a shared foundation in how they communicate and lead has become essential. The Dale Carnegie program gives the entire team a common language, a consistent way to think, speak, and work together, so that culture doesn't get diluted as the company scales.

"We've always prioritized and protected our culture, and it only stays strong if everyone is speaking the same language," said Adam Kroener, CEO and CoFounder of Carbliss. "Steve and Renee have had a real impact on Amanda and I over the years, long before this was a formal partnership, and we've already seen what their training does for our team. Bringing everyone through this program together means we're not just growing headcount; we're building one culture that thinks and communicates the same way, no matter how big we get."

"Some partnerships are built on contracts. The very best partnerships are built on trust, shared values, and a shared commitment to helping people reach their full potential. That is exactly what our relationship with Adam and Amanda and Carbliss represents," said Steve Bobowski, CEO of Dale Carnegie Eastern Wisconsin. "On a personal level, this partnership means a great deal to me because I have the privilege of calling Adam and Amanda Kroener my friends. I have watched them build Carbliss through extraordinary vision, hard work, relentless execution, and an unwavering commitment to their people, customers, and culture. Their remarkable success is no accident, it is the result of exceptional leadership and the belief in investing in people."

"For Dale Carnegie Training, being selected as Carbliss' exclusive leadership and professional development training provider is both an honor and a tremendous responsibility. We believe an organization's greatest competitive advantage is its people." said Steve Bobowski.

Twice a year, Steve, Renee, and their team will lead in-person training covering core communication and leadership skills, giving every member of the Carbliss team, regardless of role or location, the same foundation for how they collaborate and lead. As Carbliss continues its rapid national growth, the partnership is designed to make sure culture scales along with headcount, not in spite of it.

Steve additionally commented that "As Carbliss continues its extraordinary growth across the country, we are committed to equipping its leaders and team members with the communication, leadership, sales, and relationship building skills that will strengthen their culture and sustain their success for years to come."

University of Phoenix opens enrollment for three-year Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration

The 90-credit online degree program is designed for experienced criminal justice and security professionals

PHOENIX, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- University of Phoenix announces that enrollment is now open for its three-year Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration, a 90-credit online bachelor's degree pathway designed for students with at least three years of work experience in criminal justice or security.

Based in the University's College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, the program is designed for experienced professionals seeking a structured pathway to complete a bachelor's degree while building on the knowledge, responsibilities and professional context they bring to the classroom. The program combines general education, upper-division coursework, a required capstone, practitioner faculty expertise and an optional graduate-study pathway.

The degree program is the first three-year bachelor's degree pathway launched by University of Phoenix, following approval from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), hlcommission.org. University of Phoenix has been continuously accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), hlcommission.org, since 1978.

"Working adults do not all come to higher education from the same starting point," said Franzi Walsh, Ed.D., DBA, MPA, associate dean of the Criminal Justice, Public Administration and Security programs in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. "This program is designed for experienced professionals who are already working in criminal justice or security and want a degree pathway that builds on their professional context while maintaining academic quality, structure and rigor."

A three-year criminal justice administration bachelor's degree for experienced professionals

The three-year Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration is an intentional redesign, offering a professional track for students who bring at least three years of relevant industry experience to the academic work of developing knowledge related to criminal justice systems, administration, policy, ethics, organizational operations and public accountability.

The program features:

- 100% online format

- 5-week courses

- 90 total credits

- 36 credits in general education

- 12 elective credits

- 42 credits in the required course of study

- Accepting up to 57 transfer credits

- A minimum of 42 upper-division credits

- A minimum 2.00 GPA for degree completion

- The required CJA/486 Administration Capstone course

- An optional Criminal Justice/Security Master's Pathway for eligible students considering graduate study

- No application fee

- No SAT or ACT requirement

The required CJA/486 Administration Capstone is designed to integrate competencies studied throughout the curriculum. The diploma awarded for the program will read Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration.

How the three-year pathway differs from the standard 4-year BSCJA

The three-year program requires 90 credits, compared with 120 credits for the University's standard four-year Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration. The three-year pathway also requires students to have at least three years of professional experience in criminal justice or security.

The three-year bachelor's degree has a distinct structure. While both pathways retain the same 36 credits of General Education and 42 credits of required course of study, the professional track of the three-year bachelor's degree has 30 fewer open elective credits.

Both pathways are designed to help students build knowledge and skills related to criminal justice administration. The three-year professional track is specifically designed for criminal justice and security professionals, recognizing the field experience they bring to the classroom and providing a degree pathway designed for their continued professional growth.

Requirements for law enforcement, corrections, peace officer or related roles vary by agency, jurisdiction and position and may include requirements beyond completion of a degree program.

Faculty experience connects criminal justice concepts to real-world practice

The program is housed within the University's College of Social and Behavioral Sciences where faculty average 27.7 years of professional experience and include professionals with experience as police chiefs, captains, commanders, detectives, judges, district attorneys, sheriffs, public safety leaders, corrections leaders and security executives.

Their practitioner experience informs classroom discussions, helping connect academic concepts to real-world criminal justice administration and leadership challenges.

"Students want to understand how what they are learning connects to the real world," Walsh said. "That connection is built into this program. Students learn from faculty with deep professional experience across criminal justice, public safety, legal and security environments. Their experience helps bring the curriculum to life and reinforces the practical application of concepts students are studying."

Transfer-friendly and prior learning opportunities

Students entering these BSCJA programs may bring prior learning from a variety of sources, including eligible transfer credit, military or professional training, or completed certificate coursework and as a transfer-friendly institution, University of Phoenix provides opportunities to assess credit for prior learning.

In the three-year Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration, eligible students may transfer up to 57 credits toward their degree, subject to University transfer credit policies and program requirements. The program does have a minimum residency requirement, that 30 program credits be completed at University of Phoenix.

Optional graduate-study pathway

For eligible students considering graduate study, the program includes an optional Criminal Justice/Security Master's Pathway. After completing the required course of study, students may complete up to three approved pathway courses as part of their elective requirements.

The pathway is designed to give students an additional opportunity to prepare for graduate study in the University's Master of Administration of Justice and Security or Master of Public Administration degree programs. Completion of pathway coursework does not guarantee admission into a graduate degree program.

AVIGNONESI NOMINATED FOR "EUROPEAN WINERY OF THE YEAR" IN WINE ENTHUSIAST'S 2026 WINE STAR AWARDS
Image File
Original HTML

Italy's largest fully biodynamic certified estate is recognized for its commitment to Montepulciano, responsible viticulture and a long-term vision for the future of wine.

MONTEPULCIANO, Italy, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Avignonesi, a historic producer of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and Italy's largest fully biodynamically certified wine estate, has been nominated for European Winery of the Year in Wine Enthusiast's 2026 Wine Star Awards. The annual awards celebrate the most influential members of the wine, spirits, and beverage world and the outstanding contributions they make to the industry.

As the sole Italian winery nominated in the European category, the recognition marks an important milestone for Avignonesi as a producer of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano D.O.C.G. and as an estate committed to responsible agriculture and long-term stewardship, demonstrating how responsible practices can be applied meaningfully at scale, while preserving the identity of its land and wines.

"To be nominated as European Winery of the Year is a tremendous honor, particularly because it recognizes a journey that has involved every part of Avignonesi," says Matteo Giustiniani, CEO of Avignonesi. "Our ambition has always been to make wines that speak clearly of Montepulciano while continually questioning how we can farm better, understand our vineyards more precisely and leave this land in better condition for the future. This recognition belongs to the entire team and gives us even greater motivation to continue that work."

Founded in the 1970s, Avignonesi played an important role in the modern development of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, with Sangiovese at the center of its identity. A transformative chapter began in 2009, when Virginie Saverys acquired the estate and initiated its conversion to organic and biodynamic agriculture. Today, Avignonesi encompasses more than 300 hectares, works exclusively with estate-grown grapes, and extends its commitment beyond the vineyard to biodiversity, community and responsible business practices. The estate became a Società Benefit in 2021 and a Certified B Corporation in 2022.

This philosophy extends from the vineyard to Le Capezzine, the estate's historic agricultural center and contemporary hub for winemaking, hospitality and culture. Through extensive parcel-by-parcel study, Avignonesi has also increasingly focused on precise expressions of Sangiovese and Montepulciano's diverse sites, combining the heritage of Vino Nobile with a contemporary emphasis on freshness, elegance and sense of place.

For Avignonesi, the nomination is also recognition of their dedication to thinking beyond the next vintage, from the conversion to biodynamic farming to a broader approach to responsible business. Rather than a culmination, it represents another step in the estate's ongoing evolution and its commitment to ensuring that Montepulciano remains relevant, resilient and distinctive for generations to come.

About Avignonesi

Founded in the 1970s and named after a noble Renaissance family from Montepulciano, Avignonesi unites Tuscan heritage with a model of conscious viticulture rooted in organic and biodynamic farming. At its core is Le Capezzine, a historic estate and former agricultural model farm where tradition, innovation and sustainability converge in support of long-term stewardship. Made exclusively from estate-grown fruit, Avignonesi wines are elegant expressions of their varieties and the diverse terroirs of Montepulciano.

Together, Wine Enthusiast Companies is the indisputable hub for everything wine. We bring wine to life.

About Wine Enthusiast's Wine Star Awards

Each year, Wine Enthusiast celebrates the most influential members of the wine, spirits, and beverage world at the annual Wine Star Awards. This year marks the 27th anniversary of honoring the individuals and companies that make outstanding contributions to the industry. There are 16 categories for the 2026 Wine Star Awards. Four of the categories will have a named winner. The other 12 categories include a list of nominees exemplifying dedication and innovation to the success and growth of the wine, spirits, and beverage sector. The nominees were nominated by members of the Wine Enthusiast media team, including the global sales, events, marketing and editorial divisions. The 2026 Wine Star Award winners will be honored at the 27th annual black-tie gala in January 2027.

Inaugural AI Music Awards Coming to Los Angeles This November as SIQA Launches Verified Registry for AI Music Provenance
Image File
Original HTML

SIQA operates the industry's first AI music charts, and this new registry extends that work, from ranking what's rising to verifying what's real. The company's guiding principle is simple: Verified, Not Flagged. Rather than policing or labeling tracks as suspect after the fact, SIQA equips artists to establish provenance up front, turning verification into a credential artists carry, not an accusation they have to defend against.

That distinction matters more than ever as AI-generated music floods streaming platforms like Spotify and Deezer faster than the industry can account for it, a shift now tracked by outlets from Billboard to Music Business Worldwide. The prevailing industry response has been reactive: identify AI tracks after release, then flag, dispute, or remove them. SIQA flips that model by verifying at the source, not flagging after the fact. The SIQA Verified Registry lets artists register and verify their work, while giving labels, distributors, DSPs, and everyday listeners a trusted way to check a track's provenance, going beyond the generic 'AI-Generated' label to classify each under the SIQA Classification Framework as Fully AI-Generated, AI-Assisted, or a Human + AI Hybrid (e.g., vocal cloning).

The SIQA Verified app identifies a song much like Shazam, and reveals its AI classification in seconds.

The companion SIQA Verified app puts that trust in your pocket. Much like Shazam identifies a song, SIQA Verified uses audio fingerprinting so anyone can discover a track's AI classification instantly, drawing on the SIQA Verified Registry to show whether a work is Fully AI-Generated, AI-Assisted, or a Human + AI Hybrid.

SIQA will also host the inaugural AI Music Awards (AIMAs) in Los Angeles on November 13, 2026 — a red-carpet celebration featuring celebrity appearances, the presentation of the first-ever SIQA Visionary Award, and live performances directed by the creators behind Xania Monet, Olivia B Moore, Chaisen Hale, EJ Rogers, and more.

The AI Music Awards are sponsored by a collective of music and tech companies including Deepgram, the real time voice infrastructure platform that powers conversational AI experiences for more than 1,300 companies, including Granola, Twilio, and Sierra.

"AI is rapidly expanding what's possible with sound and voice, which makes trust and transparency increasingly important," said Scott Stephenson, CEO of Deepgram. "We're excited to support SIQA in bringing creators, technologists, and the industry together to explore what responsible innovation can look like as this space evolves."

On November 12, the day before the awards, SIQA will host a summit (SIQA Summit) featuring panel discussions from bold, notable industry leaders of AI music, including Romel Murphy (CEO of dai+drm).

The SIQA Verified Registry is now live at registry.thesiqa.com, the Mid-Year AI Music Intelligence Report is available at thesiqa.com; the SIQA Verified app is available on the App Store.

About SIQA

SIQA (The Sonic Intelligence Academy Inc.) is an independent AI music intelligence and infrastructure company building the data, standards, and verification layer for the AI music era. Pinegrove Closes $1.5 Billion Oversubscribed Strategic Investors Fund XII
Image File
Original HTML

SIF XII builds on Pinegrove's 26-year track record of top-quartile performance, providing institutional investors with concentrated exposure to leading venture managers and the world's most innovative private technology companies

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Pinegrove Venture Partners ("Pinegrove") today announced the final closing of Strategic Investors Fund XII ("SIF XII"), raising $1.5 billion across its Early and Scale strategies. SIF XII was significantly oversubscribed, with investor demand far exceeding the strategy's fundraising target.

For over 26 years, the SIF program has provided institutional investors with concentrated exposure to a select group of leading and emerging venture managers and, through those managers, the innovative companies they back. SIF XII continues that approach through two complementary strategies: SIF XII-Early, which invests with early-stage managers, and SIF XII-Scale, which invests with expansion-stage managers and selective co-investments alongside leading GPs. Together, the strategies enable investors to build exposure across the venture lifecycle.

"Venture capital rewards patience, conviction and trusted relationships," said Aaron Gershenberg, Managing Partner of Pinegrove Venture Partners. "Pinegrove has worked to provide institutional investors with differentiated access to the managers, companies and opportunities shaping the innovation economy. SIF XII reflects the continued confidence of our partners in that approach and in our ability to create value through every phase of the venture cycle."

Pinegrove's differentiated approach extends beyond manager selection. The firm's long-standing partnerships create a durable information advantage and position Pinegrove to identify opportunities that are often unavailable through conventional venture fund primary structures. This includes bespoke co-investments, tailored portfolio solutions and strategic capital opportunities developed in collaboration with venture managers, founders and limited partners.

"Pinegrove has established a leading venture platform through decades of trusted relationships across the innovation ecosystem," said Anuj Ranjan, CEO of Brookfield Private Equity. "Over the past several years, Aaron Gershenberg, Sulu Mamdani, Thorben Hett, and the broader team have continued to enhance that platform, building an exceptional portfolio with SIF XII, while deepening the firm's position as a trusted partner to leading venture managers and institutional investors. Their continued focus on partnership and disciplined execution has further strengthened Pinegrove's position within the venture ecosystem, and we believe the firm is exceptionally well positioned for the years ahead."

Pinegrove's objective is not merely to provide venture exposure; it is to serve as a strategic partner to institutional investors navigating a complex and increasingly specialized private-markets landscape. The firm works with its limited partners to build portfolios that reflect their individual objectives, pacing needs and risk parameters.

"We could not be more excited to anchor Pinegrove SIF XII," said John Bradley, Head of Private Equity for the Florida State Board of Administration. "Pinegrove is one of our most important and successful partnerships, helping us access the innovation economy."

SIF XII is investing across a three-year vintage during a period of accelerating innovation across artificial intelligence, infrastructure, enterprise software, healthcare, life sciences and defense. Through its underlying venture managers and co-investment program, the fund has already provided exposure to leading private technology companies while continuing to invest in the next generation of category-defining businesses as they emerge. With SIF XII now closed, Pinegrove will continue deploying capital across its Early and Scale strategies while partnering with leading venture managers and institutional investors worldwide.

About Pinegrove

Pinegrove operates an integrated investment platform with over $15 billion in assets under management across venture fund primaries and co-investments (Pinegrove Strategic Partners), venture debt and private credit (Pinegrove Credit Partners), and venture and growth secondaries (Pinegrove Opportunity Partners). Chicago Faucets Joins BACnet International, Bringing Point-of-Use Water Data to Building Automation Systems

Membership Aligns with Chicago Faucets Introduction of CF Connect PLUS Offering Centralized Faucet Management to a Building Automation System through Native BACnet/IP Integration

DES PLAINES, Ill., Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Chicago Faucets has joined BACnet International as part of its ongoing investment in connected plumbing and water management technologies. The announcement coincides with the introduction of CF Connect PLUS, a solution that integrates electronic faucets with building automation systems through native BACnet/IP connectivity.

"Joining BACnet International gives Chicago Faucets the opportunity to collaborate more closely with the professionals who design, integrate, and manage today's building systems. It also supports our work to create better ways to connect plumbing infrastructure with building automation systems through BACnet-enabled technologies. We're pleased to introduce CF Connect PLUS, an innovative solution designed to simplify water management," said Richard Nortier, Vice President of Products and Marketing at Chicago Faucets.

CF Connect PLUS connects compatible Chicago Faucets electronic faucets to a building automation system through native BACnet/IP integration. Unlike traditional building automation inputs that monitor centralized plumbing equipment, CF Connect PLUS captures water temperature directly at the point of use, providing facility teams with visibility where water is delivered to occupants. Retrofit temperature sensors installed at the faucet angle stops measure water temperature and send that information to the CF Connect PLUS Gateway. The Gateway then communicates with the building automation system using the BACnet/IP communications protocol.

"We welcome Chicago Faucets' CF Connect PLUS platform as the first certified BACnet connected solution built specifically for commercial water monitoring and hygiene management. By expanding BACnet's reach into building infrastructure, this product enables facility operators to seamlessly integrate critical water data with the rest of a building's information and analytics to optimize health, safety, and operational efficiency," states Andy McMillan, President and Managing Director, BACnet International.

"BACnet is already an important part of building automation," explains Greg Hunt, Commercial Product Manager, "What we are adding is visibility of the faucet, including water temperature at the point of use. Access to temperature data at the point of use helps facility teams better understand plumbing system performance across a building."

CF Connect PLUS also provides automated hygiene flushing, system status, alerts and digital documentation. Hygiene flushing events are automatically recorded, giving facility teams an audit trail of system activity. The CF Connect PLUS Gateway exposes connected devices as BACnet objects, allowing faucet and sensor information to be incorporated into an existing BAS.

The system can connect up to 30 wired faucets to a single Gateway or up to 10 faucets using Bluetooth® connectivity. Multiple Gateways can be connected to a building automation system using standard LAN architecture.

The technology is designed for facilities where plumbing systems are distributed across large areas, including hospitals, universities, airports, stadiums, schools, offices, and other commercial buildings.

CF Connect PLUS gives engineers and facility teams access to information from the faucet while allowing that information to be used within the building automation environment. For more information on CF Connect PLUS, visit www.chicagofaucets.com/cfconnectplus.

The report stated that PennyMac's "servicing segment pretax income was $37.3 million, down from $157.4 million in the prior quarter and $87.3 million in the fourth quarter of 2024," as well as "[retax income excluding valuation-related items was $47.8 million, down 70 percent from the prior quarter driven primarily by increased realization of mortgage servicing rights (MSR) cash flows as lower mortgage rates drove higher prepayment activity."

On this news, PennyMac's stock price fell $49.78 per share, or 33.3%, to close at $99.92 per share on January 30, 2026.

New survey reveals widespread sustainable practices across the region, from organic farming and biodiversity protection to soil health and landscape preservation

NEW YORK, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Sustainability is taking firm root across Chianti Classico. A new survey from the Consorzio Vino Chianti Classico reveals widespread adoption of environmentally conscious practices across the denomination, from organic farming and biodiversity protection to soil management and preservation of the region's historic landscape.

The findings reflect a long-term commitment to protecting a territory where winegrowing exists as part of a much larger natural ecosystem. Two-thirds of Chianti Classico is covered by woodland, while vineyards account for just one-tenth of the total area, making the relationship between agriculture and the surrounding environment central to the region's identity.

Among the survey's key findings:

- 55% of Chianti Classico's total vineyard area is managed according to organic farming standards

- 64% of producers surveyed use no chemical fertilizers, insecticides or fungicides

- 75% of estates dedicate at least 5% of their land to forage crops, permanent meadows or areas supporting pollinating insects

- Nearly all estates use sustainable, biodegradable or recyclable materials

Producers are also increasingly focused on soil health, including the use of grass cover to help prevent erosion, while preserving traditional elements such as dry-stone walls and unpaved roads that have shaped the Chianti Classico landscape for generations.

For Chianti Classico, these efforts go hand in hand with wine quality. Wine is inseparable from the place where it is grown, making the protection of the land, biodiversity and surrounding ecosystem fundamental to preserving the character of the denomination for generations to come.

The growth of wine tourism is adding further momentum. As more producers welcome visitors to their estates, sustainable practices increasingly extend beyond the vineyard and into the overall experience of the territory — an important consideration as approximately 70% of travelers now consider sustainability when evaluating the destinations they visit.

Together, the findings offer a snapshot of a region where environmental stewardship is becoming an increasingly integral part of how Chianti Classico is farmed, experienced, and preserved for the future.

A Landmark Transformation: The International School of San Francisco Celebrates Its Campus Renovation

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The International School of San Francisco, an independent school with 64 years of history located in the heart of Hayes Valley, marked the completion of a transformative campus renovation with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, September 9. The occasion drew the city's supervisor, past and current trustees, donors, alum families, faculty, staff, students, and the French general consul – a distinguished gathering befitting a project of genuine civic and educational significance.

The building itself is a piece of San Francisco history. Spanning an entire city block, covering approximately 177,000 square feet, and originally constructed by Caltrans in 1948, it is a structure of remarkable scale and heritage. The renovation honored that legacy while boldly reimagining it for the future. Every decision throughout the project was made with the needs of students, educators, and the entire community in mind.

More than three hundred windows were replaced, filling the building with natural light and dramatically improving energy efficiency. A modernized HVAC system, refreshed lower and middle school classrooms, reconsidered faculty and staff workspaces, a new commercial kitchen, and a newly designed playground together reflect an organization investing wholeheartedly in the community it serves.

Among the project's most significant achievements is the construction of a dedicated high school, complete with its own entrance – a milestone in the school's history. For the first time, high school students arrive through a threshold of their own, one that affirms their identity and marks their place within the wider community. New state-of-the-art science and design technology labs create spaces that foster inquiry, experimentation, and discovery, shaping the next generation of thinkers and global citizens.

The commercial kitchen anchors one of the renovation's most meaningful additions: the school's first-ever food program. Preschool, lower, and middle school students now receive nutritious snacks and lunch prepared on-site, while the new high school bistro offers grab-and-go options tailored to the rhythms of older students. The program treats nourishment as part of learning, not apart from it.

Head of School Eric Thuau reflected on the remarkable outcome. "The results have exceeded our expectations in every way," he said. "What strikes me most is how the building now reflects the spirit of the people inside it. The project is a testament to the vision, patience, and generosity of everyone who believed in it."

Students returned to the renewed campus on September 2, beginning the year in spaces designed to inspire learning from day one. Long a cornerstone of the neighborhood, the school stands ready to meet the potential of every student who walks through its doors.
