HOUSTON, Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Oil Market Daily News Commentary - Diplomatic efforts to end the U.S.-Iran conflict are in focus for the oil market this week, after the U.S. Secretary of State said on Saturday that talks have never stopped and Iran's state news agency reported on Monday that the country's foreign minister described Doha and Islamabad as playing active mediator roles. No ceasefire agreement had been announced as of Tuesday morning. Quarterly reports released over the past two weeks by five energy companies show where refining margins, crude price spreads, LNG exports and oilfield activity stood in the third quarter. Active Companies from around the markets with current developments this week include: Marathon Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: MPC), Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CVX), Valero Energy Corporation (NYSE: VLO), Cheniere Energy, Inc. (NYSE: LNG), Halliburton Company (NYSE: HAL).

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday, October 31, that talks with Iran "have actually never stopped," with conversations held in some cases directly but often through intermediaries, and that the United States would be open to a diplomatic solution. He declined to characterize the progress of those talks or give a time frame and, asked about possible U.S. military action, said the President had not made a decision and would prefer a diplomatic solution. On Monday, Iran's state news agency IRNA reported that Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Iran had presented a clear plan and fair conditions for a diplomatic exit, with Doha and Islamabad playing active mediator roles, and reported that he tied the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the full resumption of talks to unconditional acceptance of those conditions. Also on Monday, Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed, in a call with Jordan's foreign minister, Qatar's support for diplomatic efforts toward a solution that ensures freedom of maritime navigation, a day after Qatar condemned an attack on the Nakilat-owned LNG carrier Al Mayeda while it was sailing in the Arabian Gulf.

Futures moved in both directions on Tuesday morning. As of 10:23 a.m. ET, January Brent was at $103.97 a barrel, compared with Monday's close of $104.77, after trading between $100.80 and $107.24 in the session, and December West Texas Intermediate was at $96.49, against a Monday close of $96.46, according to delayed exchange data. In its October Short-Term Energy Outlook, the U.S. Energy Information Administration estimated that crude oil production shut-ins averaged 4.8 million barrels per day in September, down from 10.9 million b/d at the peak in May, and forecast the Brent spot price to average $105 a barrel in the fourth quarter on the assumption that oil flows from the Middle East remain constrained. The agency said the heightened risk for tankers transiting the region had added to shipping costs and increased the risk premium in oil prices.

Fuel prices remain well above year-ago levels. EIA data released Tuesday put the U.S. average retail price of regular gasoline at $4.153 a gallon on November 2, down 11.6 cents from a week earlier but $1.134 higher than a year ago, while on-highway diesel averaged $6.292, up $2.539 from a year earlier. U.S. commercial crude inventories stood at 410.6 million barrels in the week ending October 23, 4% below the five-year average, and the EIA's next weekly report is due Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. ET. The seven OPEC+ countries that met on November 1 kept December 2026 required production at September 2026 levels and will meet again on November 29.

January Brent has covered more than $6 a barrel from low to high in Tuesday's trading so far, and energy stocks can swing just as quickly when diplomatic headlines shift. In other industry developments and happenings in the market this week include:

Marathon Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: MPC)

Marathon Petroleum, which operates the nation's largest refining system, reported third-quarter results on November 3, with net income attributable to MPC of $7.4 billion, or $26.59 per diluted share, compared with $1.4 billion, or $4.51 per diluted share, a year earlier. Its refineries ran at 100% of crude capacity for total throughput of 3.2 million barrels per day, and its refining and marketing margin climbed to $45.70 per barrel from $17.60. The company said results in its Refining & Marketing segment were driven primarily by higher market crack spreads in all regions. MPC returned $3.3 billion of capital to shareholders in the quarter, announced a 10% increase in its quarterly dividend and said its board approved an incremental $5 billion share repurchase authorization. Separately, it announced the divestiture of its St. Paul Park and Mandan refineries, inclusive of related midstream assets, for $4.2 billion, with the transaction expected to close at the end of 2026.

"Our value chain capabilities remain a defining advantage for us, capturing opportunities to enhance margins across dynamic market conditions," said Maryann Mannen, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of MPC.

Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CVX)

Chevron reported on October 30 third-quarter earnings of $9.9 billion, or $5.06 per diluted share, and adjusted earnings of $10.4 billion, or $5.28 per diluted share, in a quarter when the average Brent spot price cited in its release was $97 a barrel, compared with $69 a year earlier. The company said production was lower than a year ago primarily because of lower entitlements from higher prices and impacts from the Middle East conflict, and that its international refined product sales fell 9 percent from the year-ago period due to supply disruptions from that conflict. At home, U.S. refinery crude unit throughput set a record of 1.09 million barrels per day. Chevron cut total debt by an additional $3.5 billion during the quarter and declared a quarterly dividend of $1.78 per share, payable December 10, 2026.

"We're reinvesting to bring more energy to a supply-constrained market," said Mike Wirth, Chevron's chairman and chief executive officer.

Valero Energy Corporation (NYSE: VLO)

Valero reported on October 22 third-quarter net income attributable to stockholders of $6.8 billion, or $23.89 per share, compared with $1.1 billion, or $3.53 per share, in the third quarter of 2025. Refining throughput volumes averaged 3.0 million barrels per day, and refining margin per barrel of throughput was $39.24, up from $13.14 a year earlier. The feedstock table in the release shows crude price differentials wider than a year earlier: Brent less West Texas Intermediate was $5.37 a barrel in the quarter versus $3.11 a year earlier, Brent less Maya crude was $13.37 versus $7.14, and Brent less Western Canadian Select Houston was $16.49 versus $6.93. Valero also completed its St. Charles FCC Unit optimization project during the quarter.

"Our refineries operated at near-record utilization rates, providing a reliable supply of critical transportation fuels during the quarter," said Lane Riggs, Valero's Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President.

Cheniere Energy, Inc. (NYSE: LNG)

Cheniere reported on October 29 third-quarter revenues of approximately $6.2 billion and net income of approximately $1.2 billion, and raised its full-year 2026 Consolidated Adjusted EBITDA guidance to $8.75 billion to $9.25 billion, from $7.90 billion to $8.40 billion. The company exported 188 LNG cargoes in the quarter, up from 163 a year earlier. In August, it reached substantial completion of the seventh train of its CCL Stage 3 Project, which it said marked the project complete ahead of the guaranteed completion schedule and within budget and expanded its LNG production capacity by over 20%, and it exported its 5,000th LNG cargo from its U.S. Gulf Coast operations. The board declared a quarterly dividend of $0.625 per share, an increase of over 12% from the prior quarter.

"We achieved key milestones across the Cheniere platform in the third quarter of 2026, highlighted by the substantial completion of the seventh and final train of the CCL Stage 3 Project, the export of our 5,000th LNG cargo, and our continued commercial success in support of future brownfield growth at Sabine Pass and Corpus Christi," said Jack Fusco, Cheniere's Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Halliburton Company (NYSE: HAL)

Halliburton reported on October 20 third-quarter revenue of $5.7 billion, flat with the second quarter, and net income attributable to the company of $417 million, or $0.50 per diluted share, and adjusted net income attributable to the company of $501 million, or $0.60 per diluted share. International revenue rose 3% sequentially to $3.5 billion, with Middle East/Asia up 8% to $1.4 billion, primarily on higher activity across multiple product service lines in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, while North America revenue fell 5% to $2.2 billion, primarily on lower pressure pumping services in U.S. Land. The company repurchased approximately $250 million of its common stock in the quarter. Chairman, President and CEO Jeff Miller said that, based on the company's early outlook for 2027, he expects mid-single digit revenue growth and operating margins of about 15%, an outlook that assumes a flat North America market.

"We are another three months into one of the largest energy disruptions in history. I expect the work to restore production, rebuild inventories and strengthen energy security will drive multi-year demand growth for oilfield services," said Jeff Miller, Chairman, President and CEO of Halliburton.

The talks, Iran's conditions on the Strait of Hormuz and Wednesday's EIA inventory data are the next markers for crude, refining margins and LNG shipments.

NEW YORK, Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- US Metal News News Commentary - Gold and silver futures gave back part of Monday's gains on Tuesday morning, Election Day in the United States, and copper futures fell by more than their Monday advance, yet several metals producers with fresh quarterly numbers or project studies traded higher, among them a Brazil-focused copper miner, a zinc miner and smelter, an aluminum products maker, a Canadian steel plate producer and a Newfoundland-focused gold company. Active Companies from around the markets with current developments this week include: Ero Copper Corp. (TSX: ERO) (NYSE: ERO), Nexa Resources S.A. (NYSE: NEXA), Constellium SE (NYSE: CSTM), Algoma Steel Group Inc. (NASDAQ: ASTL) (TSX: ASTL), New Found Gold Corp. (TSX: NFGC) (NYSE American: NFGC).

Gold, silver and copper futures all settled higher on Monday, November 2. CME Group settlement data show December gold futures at $3,969.60 an ounce, up $70.70, December silver at $50.888, up $1.612, and December copper at $6.5675 a pound, up 8.55 cents. Tuesday morning brought a pullback. In CME Group's delayed quotes time-stamped about 10:35 a.m. ET, December gold was at $3,938.50, down 0.78%, silver was at $49.700, down 2.33%, and copper was at $6.4105, down 2.39%. Miner funds were also lower, with the VanEck Gold Miners ETF (GDX) down 1.12% and the Global X Copper Miners ETF (COPX) down 1.10% as of about 10:36 a.m. ET. The five companies below, each with results or a project update released between October 22 and November 2, moved the other way. In quotes checked at about 10:36 a.m. ET, Algoma Steel was up 4.66%, Nexa Resources was up 2.41%, Constellium was up 0.96% and Ero Copper was up 0.94%, while New Found Gold traded at $1.51 against its Monday close of $1.49.

The World Gold Council's Gold Demand Trends report for the third quarter, published today, put central bank buying at 321 tonnes for the quarter and said it lifted year-to-date central bank demand to 675 tonnes, up 6% year over year. The council also reported that gold ETFs added 211 tonnes in the quarter following second-quarter outflows, and that mine production rose 3% year over year to 1,071 tonnes, a third quarter record. Interest rates remain part of the picture. At its October 28 meeting, the Federal Reserve held the federal funds target range at 3-3/4 to 4 percent, with Lisa D. Cook and Beth M. Hammack dissenting in favor of a quarter-point increase. In its outlook, the council said higher policy rates, bond yields and a stronger U.S. dollar could weigh on fourth-quarter demand across gold ETFs, Western bar and coin, derivatives and OTC activity, while fiscal concerns, inflation risks, geopolitics and financial market stress may provide support.

A session in which metal futures and miner funds slip while individual producers rise is the kind of split that charts can help sort out. In other industry developments and happenings in the market this week include:

Ero Copper Corp. (TSX: ERO) (NYSE: ERO)

Ero Copper reported on November 2 what it called record third-quarter 2026 results. The Brazil-focused miner produced 18,345 tonnes of copper in concentrate, up 6% sequentially, at C1 cash costs of $2.51 per pound produced, while gold from its Xavantina Operations rose 23% from the previous quarter to 25,258 ounces. Net income attributable to owners of the company was $116.2 million, or $1.10 per diluted share, adjusted EBITDA was $200.6 million, and net debt fell by approximately $100 million during the quarter to $353.5 million. Ero left its 2026 copper production guidance unchanged at 67,500 to 77,500 tonnes, with the fourth quarter expected to be the strongest of the year at both copper operations, and updated its consolidated copper C1 cash cost guidance to $2.25 to $2.45 per pound produced.

"Results were supported by continued growth in copper and gold sales volumes, cost savings from our OneEro initiative, and our foreign exchange hedge strategy designed to protect cash operating margins," said Makko DeFilippo, Ero's President & Chief Executive Officer.

Nexa Resources S.A. (NYSE: NEXA)

Nexa Resources reported on October 29 third-quarter adjusted EBITDA of US$301 million, up 62% year over year, as its adjusted EBITDA margin widened 7.7 percentage points to 32.1%. The zinc miner and smelter, which also produces copper and silver, posted a net loss of US$47 million that included a US$124 million non-cash impairment charge related to its Brazilian smelting assets and a US$51 million silver-streaming remeasurement adjustment. Mining zinc production rose 7% from the second quarter to 85 thousand tonnes, driven by Aripuanã, where average plant utilization rose to 84% from 71% in the second quarter and reached 90% in September, and silver production rose 8% to 2.9 million ounces. In August, Votorantim signed a definitive agreement to sell its controlling stake in Nexa to Boliden, with closing expected in the first quarter of 2027, subject to customary approvals.

"Our integrated business model allows us to capture value across the chain: higher zinc prices supported mining results, while stronger contributions from by-products sustained our smelting margins," wrote Ignacio Rosado, CEO of Nexa, in his message accompanying the results.

Constellium SE (NYSE: CSTM)

Constellium reported on October 28 third-quarter revenue of $2.6 billion, up 22% from a year earlier, which the aluminum products maker attributed to higher revenue per ton, including higher metal prices, partially offset by lower shipments. Shipments were down 1% at 368 thousand metric tons, net income rose to $119 million from $88 million, and adjusted EBITDA was $276 million. Segment adjusted EBITDA in Packaging & Automotive Rolled Products rose 98% to $162 million, while Aerospace & Transportation shipments increased 18%. Constellium raised its 2026 guidance and now expects adjusted EBITDA of $1.03 billion to $1.06 billion, excluding the non-cash impact of metal price lag, and free cash flow in excess of $300 million. During the quarter, Constellium returned $30 million to shareholders through its share repurchase program, and it ended September with leverage of 1.6x.

"Constellium delivered another strong quarter, including record third quarter Adjusted EBITDA, despite the ongoing uncertainties on the macroeconomic and geopolitical fronts," said Ingrid Joerg, Constellium's Chief Executive Officer.

Algoma Steel Group Inc. (NASDAQ: ASTL) (TSX: ASTL)

Algoma Steel reported on October 28 results for a third quarter in which all of its liquid steel came from its first electric arc furnace unit, after the company permanently halted its legacy blast furnace operations on January 18, 2026. Average net sales realization rose 33.7% from a year earlier to C$1,510 per ton of steel sold, reflecting higher steel prices and a higher proportion of plate in the sales mix. Shipments fell to 144,527 tons from 419,173 tons, which the company tied to the transition to electric arc furnace steelmaking, U.S. Section 232 tariffs on export sales and a third-quarter turbine outage at Lake Superior Power. It posted a net loss of C$129.6 million, and its adjusted EBITDA loss of C$13.9 million was in line with previously announced expectations. Its second electric arc furnace unit, Unit Two, produced its first heat of liquid steel on October 9.

"Our plate-first strategy continued to drive results, with higher steel prices and a greater share of plate driving stronger net sales realization per ton," said Rajat Marwah, Algoma's Chief Executive Officer.

New Found Gold Corp. (TSX: NFGC) (NYSE American: NFGC)

New Found Gold, which describes itself as a new Canadian gold producer, released on October 22 a revised preliminary economic assessment and an updated mineral resource estimate for its Queensway Gold Project in Newfoundland and Labrador. At a base case gold price of US$3,600 per ounce, the study shows an after-tax net present value at a 5% discount rate of C$1.728 billion and an internal rate of return of 126%, with 1.744 million ounces of gold produced over a 15-year phased open pit and underground operation and initial capital of C$149.8 million. Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources increased 38% to 1.920 million ounces of gold. The company anticipates delivering the first mineralized material from Queensway to its expanded Pine Cove mill in the fourth quarter of 2027.

"The PEA more than doubles the Project's NPV5% to $1.7 billion and lifts the IRR to 126%, while Phase 1 capital costs remain in line with the earlier PEA at $150 million," stated Keith Boyle, CEO of New Found Gold.

On a morning when futures and miner funds were lower, these five stocks moved the other way, a reminder that each company's chart can tell its own story. Learn to read those setups with the free Knowledge is Power guide from Stock Preachers at usmetalnews.com/.

Vantaca's Inaugural State of the Industry Report Shows a New Operating Model Taking Hold in Community Management
Image File
Original HTML

Drawing on data from more than 52,000 community associations and 6.5 million homes, the report reveals how rising costs, growing expectations and technology are reshaping community management

WILMINGTON, N.C., Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Vantaca, an AI-first technology company purpose-built for community association management, today released The State of the Industry: Managed Community Living in America, a comprehensive look at how the economics, operations and experiences of professionally managed community living are changing. Unveiled at Vantaca Vision 2026, the report draws on a substantial sample of anonymized operational data from the Vantaca platform, encompassing more than 500 management companies, 52,000+ associations and approximately 6.5 million homes, alongside three independent surveys of homeowners, management company executives and service providers. The findings reveal an industry navigating rising costs, growing expectations and persistent operational complexity, while new technologies create opportunities for management companies to build capacity and strengthen the communities they serve.

"Community management has always been a relationship business. It's about people taking care of people and the places they call home," said Ben Currin, CEO of Vantaca. "What this research shows is that the industry has an opportunity to scale what already works. When technology takes on more of the routine work, management companies gain the capacity to strengthen relationships, deliver better service and lead their communities more effectively. The human relationship is the foundation and now we have an opportunity to scale it."

What the Data Shows

- The Economics Have Reset. Association assessments rose 50.5% between 2021 and 2025, driven by significant increases in insurance, utilities and other operating costs. Communities are facing a fundamentally more expensive operating environment.

- A New Staffing Model is Emerging. Management companies are growing their teams while supporting even larger portfolios. AI-enabled operations now manage 669 doors per staff member, compared with 436 at traditional operations, highlighting the potential of new operating models to expand capacity.

- Homeowners Want Greater Transparency. Nearly four in ten homeowners surveyed believe their dues are too high, yet 73% would accept an increase with a clear explanation. Communicating value is becoming as important as delivering it.

- Service Providers Need Less Friction. With 83% reporting margin compression and 75% citing slow approvals, service providers are looking for greater efficiency and predictability in how they work with management companies.

- Management Companies Are at the Center of It All. As the connection point between homeowners, boards and service providers, management companies have an opportunity to move beyond traditional administration and deliver greater value across the community ecosystem.

A New Operating Model Creating New Possibilities

The findings point to a significant opportunity for management companies: using technology to create more capacity, strengthen relationships and expand the value they deliver across the community ecosystem. At Vantaca Vision 2026, Chief Product Officer Trisha Price and Chief Technology Officer Jeff Beard built on these insights, unveiling expanded capabilities designed to bring this new operating model to life. From agentic AI and connected resident experiences to streamlined financial and vendor workflows, the innovations demonstrate how management companies can put that capacity to work.

- Agentic AI Expansion with HOAI fleet. HOAi Fleet adds agents for invoicing, association onboarding, compliance and budgets, working inside the workflows teams already use. Agents prepare the work, and the management company's team reviews and approves what goes out. Teams can teach Fleet new skills, and a redesigned Fleet workspace shows what every agent is doing. Vantaca also previewed what comes next, including a Priority Action Queue that puts a team's work and its agents' work on the same screen, a community manager agent that helps prepare for board meetings, and elections and voting for residents.

- An Expanded Resident Experience With Vantaca Home. Residents receive clear answers at any hour through HOAi Voice and a connected experience in the expanded Vantaca Home. With routine work handled, managers spend their time on judgment and leadership. Community Brief puts a polished, company-branded report directly in front of board members each month, showing exactly what their management company delivered. This turns operational data into a clear case for the value of professional management.

- Reliable Vantaca Vendor Network. Vantaca Pay cuts settlement from four business days to one and gives residents itemized receipts. Vantaca Vendor gives service providers streamlined onboarding, payment setup and a portal that shows where their work and payments stand.

"Excellence in the everyday isn't built on features, it's built on outcomes," said Trisha Price, Chief Product Officer, Vantaca. "When work moves to agents, your people are freed up to lead instead of manage, residents receive answers and real connection to their community, and vendors get paid faster. That's how management companies stop being measured by the work they process and start being valued for the communities they lead."

About the Report

The State of the Industry: Managed Community Living in America draws on anonymized, aggregated operational data from a cross-section of the Vantaca platform, including consistent groups of associations analyzed over time, and three independent, third-party-administered surveys fielded in June 2026. The surveys included a combined 654 respondents across homeowners in managed communities, management company executives and service providers. Full methodology and source notes are included in the report.

Verve Appoints Bryan Jennings as Chief Financial Officer

- More than thirteen years of CFO experience at public and private companies in Europe and the US, including in advertising technology

- Combines hands-on financial leadership with extensive international capital markets experience, including 19 years at Morgan Stanley

- Will lead Verve's finance organization with a continued focus on improved cash conversion and disciplined capital allocation to support profitable growth and deleveraging

DUBLIN, Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Verve Group Media SE today announced the appointment of Bryan Jennings as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Group. He succeeds Christian Duus.

Bryan began his career at Goldman Sachs before spending 19 years at Morgan Stanley, where he held senior roles in corporate finance, capital markets and risk management, ultimately serving as a Managing Director in New York. During his Morgan Stanley tenure, Bryan also spent several years covering European companies for Morgan Stanley from their presence in London. After Morgan Stanley, he subsequently gained more than thirteen years of CFO experience across public and private companies in Europe and the United States, through both direct appointments and portfolio-company mandates, including CFO and advisory roles with companies backed by OrbiMed and Thiel Capital. Most recently, he served as CFO of the advertising technology company BrightLake.ai in the US and of Partex in Frankfurt.

"Bryan combines operational CFO experience with expertise in financing, capital allocation and international capital markets, alongside direct knowledge of advertising technology," said Remco Westermann, CEO of Verve Group Media SE. "His CFO experience in both Europe and the US is particularly relevant to Verve's European roots and listings, substantial US operations and international investor base. He will work with our executive team to advance our financial priorities and support profitable growth and long-term shareholder value."

Working with the executive team and business leaders, Mr. Jennings will advance Verve's stated priorities of improved cash conversion, disciplined capital allocation and deleveraging, while supporting investment in profitable organic growth.

"Verve's advanced advertising intelligence, strong access to supply and data, and integrated end-to-end platform provide an excellent foundation for long-term value creation. I look forward to working with Remco and the team to build on these strengths and support the Group's financial and strategic priorities," said Bryan Jennings, incoming CFO of Verve. "My CFO experience in both Europe and the US has allowed me to develop varied regional perspectives. I look forward to building on our finance colleagues' expertise and working together as one global team."

Mr. Jennings will take up his role immediately, succeeding Christian Duus, who has helped develop and internationalize Verve's finance organization over the past two years, including supporting the Group's relocation from Sweden to Ireland. With the relocation complete, Mr. Jennings will build on this work together with the finance teams as the Group enters its next phase of development. Mr Duus will remain with Verve until 31 December 2026 to ensure a smooth handover, before pursuing new opportunities in the Nordic region.

"On behalf of the Board and the entire team, I would like to thank Christian for his hard work and contribution to Verve's development over the past two years. We wish him all the best for the future," added Tobias M. Weitzel, Chairman of the Board.

Arity to Acquire Replica, Giving Businesses and Agencies a More Complete View of Mobility

Acquisition builds on completed INRIX transaction by adding deeper mobility intelligence

CHICAGO, Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Arity, a subsidiary of The Allstate Corporation, announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the remaining ownership interest in Replica, a data and technology company that helps organizations understand how people, infrastructure, and communities interact. The transaction is expected to close in 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.

Replica adds an important human and multimodal dimension to Arity's growing mobility intelligence platform. Its privacy-centric data and modeling capabilities help customers understand travel patterns, anticipate changes, and evaluate potential outcomes.

Together, Arity, Replica, and INRIX connect three complementary sources of mobility intelligence: how people travel, how transportation networks perform, and how people drive. This more complete view helps businesses, public agencies, and transportation consultants make better-informed decisions about transportation planning, safety, and investment.

"Transportation connects people to opportunity and businesses to markets, but the intelligence has been fragmented. said Gary Hallgren, president of Arity. "By bringing together Arity, INRIX, and Replica, we are connecting that intelligence to give customers a more complete understanding of mobility and help them make better decisions."

"Replica was founded on the belief that better decisions start with understanding how people actually live, work, and move through their communities," said Nick Bowden, co-founder and president of Replica. "Our data, applications, and scenario modeling show how people and infrastructure connect â and how operational or policy decisions might change those connections. Joining Arity and INRIX lets us bring that human understanding to a much broader view of transportation."

The agreement advances the mobility intelligence vision Arity outlined with its completed acquisition of INRIX: transportation is interconnected, and the intelligence behind it should be, too. It also supports Allstate's investment in data, analytics, and mobility intelligence to create the future of protection.

About Arity

Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Chicago, Arity is a mobility intelligence company and a subsidiary of The Allstate Corporation. Arity transforms trillions of miles of driving behavior data into intelligence that helps insurers, brands, and public-sector partners make smarter decisions across pricing, risk, marketing, and safety. Learn more at www.arity.com.

About Replica

Replica, Inc. delivers data and actionable insights for public agencies, urban planners, and infrastructure decision-makers. By applying advanced machine-learning models to large-scale datasets, Replica enables transportation agencies to analyze movement patterns while maintaining strict privacy protections. The platform provides comprehensive analytics to support smarter, more efficient planning and infrastructure investments and compliance with federal reporting requirements. - There are nearly 180 parade characters each night, including snow princesses, jinglettes, fairies, ribbon dancers, toy drummers, snow flurry color guards, polar bears, teddy bears and snowmen and Santa

- This year, 80,000+ pieces of candy will be handed out

- 850+ gallons of snow are used throughout the season

Radiology Claims: November Malpractice Risk Review--Insights to Reduce Patient Harm and Malpractice Exposure

NAPA, Calif., Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Doctors Company, the nation's largest physician-owned medical malpractice insurer, today released "Radiology Claims: November Malpractice Risk Review," the newest edition in a monthly series of specialty-focused analyses designed to support patient safety and clinical risk management.

Each month in 2026, The Doctors Company will explore malpractice risk trends in a different medical specialty, offering evidence-based insights drawn from real claims data to help clinicians and healthcare leaders better understand how patient harm occurs and why negligence allegations arise.

"Radiology Claims: November Malpractice Risk Review," available at thedoctors.com/radiologyMRR, brings together three complimentary analyses that highlight key areas of risk within orthopedics practices:

- Contributing factors to patient harm: Identifies the most common driver of radiology claims as clinical judgment errors, including misinterpretation of diagnostic studies, narrow diagnostic focus, and failure or delay in ordering diagnostic tests.

- Negligence allegations: Analyzes negligence allegations in radiology to help practitioners and staff proactively identify and address risk.

- Case summary for missed diagnosis and communication failures that delayed lung cancer diagnosis: Highlights how failure to inform the cardiologist of a suspected lung mass identified on a chest x-ray delayed a lung cancer diagnosis, allowing metastasis and resulting in the patient's death.

"Every malpractice claim magnifies where patient care can be improved," said Julie Ritzman, MBA, CPHRM, Senior Vice President, Patient Safety and Risk Management at The Doctors Company, part of TDC Group. "Analyzing radiology claims highlights trends that provide clinicians with actionable insights to strengthen communication, decision-making, and overall patient care."

University of Phoenix introduces accelerated business bachelor's degree pathway with Study.com to help students save time and tuition
Image File

New pathway offers eligible students the opportunity to complete a Bachelor of Science in Business in as little as three years, potentially saving up to $14,000 in typical tuition and fees.

PHOENIX, Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- University of Phoenix is introducing a new accelerated pathway for its online Bachelor of Science in Business (BSB) degree program through an educational alliance with Study.com, offering eligible students the opportunity to complete their bachelor's degree in as little as three years while potentially saving up to $14,000 in typical tuition and fees. The pathway allows qualifying students to take up to 10 designated Study.com elective courses at no additional cost, with eligible credits applied toward their University of Phoenix degree requirements. The accelerated pathway is available to eligible new and returning students who begin their first or next course between November 2, 2026, and April 30, 2027.

"For working adults considering a bachelor's degree, the time and cost involved can be significant factors in deciding whether to begin or return to school," said John Woods, Ph.D., provost and chief academic officer of University of Phoenix. "This accelerated pathway builds on University of Phoenix's commitment to helping working adults pursue career-relevant education through flexible learning, affordable tuition and opportunities to save time and money. By working with an alternative credit provider like Study.com, we are expanding how students can earn specific academic credits with them, while still maintaining the career-relevant learning and support we provide that is central to our approach."

How the accelerated business bachelor's degree pathway works

The pathway allows eligible students to take designated Study.com elective courses as they progress through their University of Phoenix coursework. Students become eligible for one Study.com course after successfully completing every three University of Phoenix courses, up to a maximum of 10 Study.com courses or the number needed to fulfill remaining eligible elective requirements, whichever is less.

The pathway includes the following features:

- Concurrent online learning opportunities: Study.com courses are completed concurrently with, and in addition to, students' regularly scheduled University of Phoenix courses. Each designated Study.com course must be successfully completed within 90 days of the eligibility notification.

- Applicable elective credits: Successfully completed, eligible Study.com credits may be applied toward remaining elective requirements in the Bachelor of Science in Business program, subject to the pathway's requirements.

- Maintain eligibility requirements: Students must maintain continuous enrollment and successfully complete their University of Phoenix coursework to remain eligible. The pathway's actual benefits and degree completion timeline depend on individual circumstances and applicable program requirements.

Participation in the pathway does not guarantee access to all 10 Study.com courses. Opportunities to take additional Study.com courses are subject to continued student eligibility, remaining applicable degree requirements, and the continued availability of the pathway. If the pathway is discontinued, students may complete Study.com courses already activated within their applicable 90-day completion periods, but no additional Study.com courses will be made available through the pathway.

The program course of study is highly individualized and will vary depending on each individual's transfer credit and electives selection. Below is an example of a beginning course sequence, demonstrating how, after successfully completing three University of Phoenix courses, a student then becomes eligible for one Study.com alternative credit course, which can be completed concurrently with their next University course, and applied as transfer credit once completed.

Study.com alliance provides additional opportunities to earn applicable college credit

The accelerated pathway enhances the ways University of Phoenix and Study.com work together to help students apply eligible alternative college credits toward degree completion. Through the pathway, students gain access to designated Study.com elective courses that may fulfill specific remaining degree requirements.

Krista Schaub, Senior Director of University Partnerships at Study.com, said, "Momentum and cost are extremely important for adult learners. This pathway turns milestones at University of Phoenix into an opportunity to earn additional credit at Study.com, at no added cost, so that students can move toward their degree faster and more affordably. This program aligns fully with Study.com's mission of 'opening the door to the life changing impact of education' and we're truly excited to expand our decade plus work with University of Phoenix and help more students cross the finish line."

Expanding affordability through tuition savings and pricing certainty

The accelerated pathway complements University of Phoenix's broader approach to making higher education more affordable through opportunities to reduce required coursework and improve tuition transparency.

The University's new Locked-In Pricing Guarantee, effective November 2, 2026, provides new students with one fixed per-course price that includes tuition and resource fees for the duration of their enrolled program. Together, predictable pricing and opportunities to earn applicable credits through the accelerated pathway can help eligible students better understand and plan for their education costs.

The affordability focus reflects ongoing challenges facing adults considering higher education. According to Gallup and Lumina Foundation's 2026 State of Higher Education report, financial pressures remain a significant barrier to enrollment and completion, while flexible learning opportunities and shorter completion timelines are important considerations for adults returning to college.

Career-relevant business education designed for working adults

University of Phoenix's online Bachelor of Science in Business is a 120-credit degree program designed to help students develop practical knowledge and skills in management, leadership, communications, finance, marketing and business operations. The program, offered through the University's College of Business and Information Technology, features skills-mapped curriculum informed by labor market insights, accreditation requirements and practitioner faculty, and is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

The program's emphasis on practical, career-relevant learning is reflected in student feedback. In an online Student End of Course Survey, 88.5% of University of Phoenix students surveyed in the Bachelor of Science in Business program agreed or strongly agreed they earned skills in their course they could put to work right away. The Student End-of-Course Survey data reflects responses to the item, "I earned skills I can put to work right away," from November 2025 through October 2026, in which the item received 3,758 degree program responses, out of a total of 121,128 survey responses with a 14.69% response rate.

More than 292,000 students have earned a Bachelor of Science in Business degree from University of Phoenix since the university began offering business degrees.

Who is eligible for the accelerated business bachelor's degree pathway?

The pathway is available to qualifying new University of Phoenix students, alumni, and returning students who have been out of attendance for more than 365 days. Participants must meet admissions requirements, enroll in the eligible Bachelor of Science in Business program and register for and post attendance in their first or next University of Phoenix course with a start date between November 2, 2026, and April 30, 2027.

Participation and continued eligibility are subject to additional conditions, including successful course completion, continuous enrollment and remaining eligible elective requirements. The pathway is not available to students who add a certificate or Associate of Arts degree. Individual degree completion times and savings will vary.
