Toronto – October 12, 2026 -- Highlander Silver Corp. (TSX: HSLV) has secured a US$40 million non-brokered private placement from strategic investor Eric Sprott, who agreed to buy 8,060,226 common shares at C$6.80 each.

Sprott is described as an arm's length investor and is already a strategic shareholder of the company. The shares carry a statutory four-month hold period under Canadian securities laws.

She is also a corporate lawyer and Affiliated Scholar at Davies, Ward, Phillips & Vineberg, LLP. Her specialties are corporate law, corporate governance and capital markets regulation.
