Vancouver – November 03, 2026 -- GreenCore Solutions Corp. (GSC) launched an Agentic Shopping Hub that lists fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) brands' AI agents across 1.97 million points of sale in 20 markets, so shoppers' own agents can discover, verify and buy grocery products in a single call.
Hub gates every order against brand rules and barcode checks
Brands bring their own agents to the A2A-Grocery.ai hub, covering 8,619 retail banners. Each brand sets what its agents list, claim, price and sell, market by market, and the hub checks every order against those settings.
GSC's gtinfetch.ai, a GTIN resolver for AI agents, acts as a second factor on each order. It confirms barcodes, with 84 million in its database, before payment moves. GSC calls the approach "know your transactions" (KYT). The same record serves both the shopper's assistant and the retailer's agent.
For payments, the x402 protocol is available to FMCG brands, letting agents settle within the same call.
Walmart's October 21 agent terms open a roughly $700 billion retailer to AI buyers
The world's largest retailer, with roughly $700 billion in annual sales, introduced Agent Profiles, the Walmart Agent Gateway and terms for AI agents on October 21. Approved agents can now search its inventory and buy on a shopper's behalf over the Model Context Protocol (MCP), within spending limits the customer sets.
Leading grocers in France, Germany, the Czech Republic, India, Singapore and Korea have opened their shelves in the same way, according to GSC.
GSC hub is already listed on the Official MCP Registry and Microsoft Azure API Center
GSC argues that a brand going alone must build its own MCP connection, get it listed, persuade AI labs' agents to connect and keep it running. A2A-Grocery.ai is already listed on the Official MCP Registry and the Microsoft Azure API Center, and is already read by shopping agents, the company said.
GSC Chief Executive Matthew Keddy said a brand's agent on its own is "neither discovered nor secure" from the retailer's point of view at scale. He said the hub is built solely for retail grocery.
Survey data puts US AI shopping adoption at 37% in Q3 2026
AI shopping adoption in the US reached 37% in the third quarter of 2026, rising for an eighth straight month, with grocery the leading category at 32%, according to CivicScience (October 2026).
BCG (2026) found that 81% of US consumers and 53% in Europe expect to use AI agents when shopping. Deloitte (2026) reported that more than half of 13,500 Europeans surveyed already do, and a further 27% intend to.
Quality risks remain. Blue Yonder (November 2026) found that nearly a quarter of US consumers have bought on an AI recommendation, and nearly half of those buyers returned the item, most often because it was not as described.
FMCG brands onboard at a2a-grocery.ai, while agents connect through two MCP endpoints, mcp.gtinfetch.ai and mcp.a2a-grocery.ai.
