Nolan Painting to Sponsor 24 Fall Road Races in Greater Philadelphia

HAVERTOWN – November 03, 2026 -- Nolan Painting will sponsor 24 road races, including six Turkey Trots, across Greater Philadelphia this fall while running full daily job schedules on exterior and interior painting projects.

Civic 50 recognition names Nolan Painting a 2026 honoree

The family-owned contractor was named a 2026 honoree of The Civic 50 Greater Philadelphia by the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia. The program is run with the Philadelphia Foundation, Points of Light and other local partners, and benchmarks how employers use time, talent and resources for community impact.

Founder and Chairman Kevin J. Nolan said giving back is "woven into our culture."

Sponsorships and volunteer hours extend across the fall calendar

In September, Kevin Nolan served as volunteer Race Director for the Delco 10 Miler, presented by the County of Delaware, PA, and Visit Delco. The race drew more than 2,000 participants and benefited six non-profit organizations in Delaware County.

On Halloween weekend, Nolan Painting was presenting sponsor of the Monster Dash 5K at Bates Motel, which benefited the Edgmont Township Fire Company No. 1. The company provided monetary and volunteer support for both events.

In December, more than 100 Nolan Painting employees will serve as volunteers and course marshals for the Reindeer Romp in Havertown. The company presents the event, which benefits the American Cancer Society.

Painting crews retrofit windows at four libraries for Bird Safe Philly

Under a new partnership with Bird Safe Philly, Nolan Painting contributed more than 100 volunteer hours installing Feather Friendly bird collision deterrent markers at four libraries: Chestnut Hill Library, Elkins Park Free Library, Glenside Free Library and Conshohocken Free Library.

The markers are small adhesive dots that make glass visible to birds without significantly obstructing the view. Community volunteers treated ground-level glass, while Nolan Painting crews used the company's equipment to reach high upper windows.

Bird Safe Philly was formed after an October 2, 2020 mass collision in which thousands of migratory birds died after striking buildings in Center City Philadelphia. Nolan Painting plans to support two more bird-safe window retrofit projects at local nature preserves this fall.
