Ford and Lincoln Dashboards Get Built-In Streaming Radio This October

North America – November 03, 2026 -- Ford and Lincoln drivers in the U.S. and Canada can stream music, radio and podcasts straight from the dashboard starting this October, with no phone needed.

The new Ford Streaming Radio and Lincoln Streaming Radio apps, powered by Stingray, run directly in the vehicle's SYNC or Ford/Lincoln Digital Experience system.

The library covers 100+ music channels and 4 million podcasts

The apps offer more than 100 ad-free music channels, over 100,000 radio stations from around the world and more than four million podcasts. Users can bookmark favorites, and voice commands handle play, pause and skip while driving.

Jim Riley, President of Stingray Music USA, says the teams worked over many months to build a "tailor-made in-dash audio experience."

Eligible models range from the Explorer to the Nautilus

The rollout covers select vehicles, including the 2025 and newer Ford Explorer and Expedition, the 2025 and newer Lincoln Aviator and Navigator, and the 2024 and newer Lincoln Nautilus.

Drivers need an active Premium Connectivity or Connectivity Package plan. Available features vary by model and trim and require an activated modem and compatible network. Pricing, included plans and term lengths also vary by model, and paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Some features may work only while the vehicle is parked. Owners can check the Ford or Lincoln app to see which features apply to their vehicle.

Stingray Karaoke arrived in 2025 as the first step

The new apps expand on the Stingray Karaoke app introduced in 2025. Stingray built that app with Ford so passengers can sing along while the car is moving, or use it on the in-vehicle screen while parked.
