Appy Pie Launches Four-Agent AI Builder for iOS, Android Apps

NOIDA – November 03, 2026 -- Appy Pie has launched its Agentic AI App Builder, which uses four specialised AI agents to plan, design, build and test iOS and Android apps with backend services, a database, user accounts and hosting included.

Users submit a written or spoken brief, approve a development plan and refine the app through conversation. CEO Abhinav Girdhar called the launch Appy Pie's "biggest product announcement in a decade."

Planning, Design, Build and Testing agents split the development workflow
  • The Planning Agent asks clarifying questions and proposes features, screens and data structure. Building starts only after the user approves the plan.
  • The Design Agent creates screens, layouts and colours, and can use a logo or website as a brand reference.
  • The Build Agent generates the app in React Native for iOS and Android and connects it to the built-in backend, database and user accounts.
  • The Testing Agent runs automated checks and fixes detected issues before presenting a preview.

Users can preview the app on their own phone via QR code and request changes in plain language. The builder also supports export of the generated app code.

Appy Pie manages backend, database, authentication and hosting in one environment

The builder targets projects including CRMs, customer portals, admin dashboards, online stores, community apps, media services and 2D games. Supported features include push notifications, hosted checkout, media and a web-based admin panel.

Users can start without opening separate infrastructure accounts. Teams already on Firebase or Supabase can connect those services instead.

The platform supports workflows through Claude and Claude Code, plus more than 60 integrations via Model Context Protocol (MCP). Flozic, Appy Pie's workflow automation platform, links apps to existing business processes.

U.S. Patent No. 12,737,158 B2 covers Appy Pie's conversational app-building method

The patent was granted on September 15, 2026, for conversational app-building technology using natural language processing. The underlying international application was filed on June 7, 2021. Girdhar is named as inventor and Appy Pie LLP as assignee.

Publishing runs through customers' own Apple and Google developer accounts

Users submit apps through their own Apple and Google developer accounts, with help from Appy Pie's publishing support team. App-store developer fees are separate, and publication is subject to each store's review.
