BestGiro earns the larger referral bonus

The 100-euro reward goes to the referrer once the person they recruited successfully opens a BestGiro. The account is free of charge. In the current checking account comparison by Finanzfluss, it was rated the best checking account, one of several awards the product has collected in recent weeks.

BestCard Smart pays 50 euros and skips the fee in year one

The 50-euro bonus applies when the referred person successfully takes out a BestCard Smart. The credit card has no annual fee in the first year, subject to a positive credit check and the applicable product terms. A built-in goods purchase insurance and a warranty extension cover household and electronic devices. Cardholders can pay by mobile phone and use the card for payments in Germany and abroad.

BestCard Smart is the entry-level model in the BestCard credit card family from Openbank by Santander.
