Honolulu – November 03, 2026 -- Renue Hawaii has launched a low-moisture commercial carpet restoration program that promises drying times under 2 hours and targets luxury hotels, resorts and convention venues on Oahu ahead of the peak winter travel season.
Program follows IICRC and AATCC protocols for high-traffic hospitality flooring
The program is built to comply with Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) Commercial Carpet Maintenance standards and American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) technical protocols. It covers woven and synthetic installations, with particular focus on large hospitality ballrooms.
Low-moisture extraction targets beach sand and humidity risk
Renue Hawaii says its system isolates and encapsulates deep-seated dirt, fine beach sand and atmospheric moisture without saturating the fiber core. The company states this prevents sub-surface mold or microbial growth in Hawaii's humid climate and preserves the structural integrity and flame-retardant properties of the fibers.
The company contrasts the method with non-certified contractors, which it says often use high-alkaline agents and excessive water. According to Renue Hawaii, that approach strips natural fibers, speeds re-soiling and can permanently delaminate carpet backing, voiding manufacturer warranties and accelerating asset depreciation.
Polymer fabric shield aims to lengthen intervals between hot-water extractions
The program adds polymer fabric shield protectors that form a molecular barrier around individual fibers to meet AATCC stain-resistance benchmarks. Renue Hawaii says the layer resists oily spills and dry-soil embedding, making daily vacuuming more effective. Properties can then extend the intervals between heavy hot-water extractions and reduce operating overhead.
Vendor status with international hotel chains underpins enterprise pitch
Renue Hawaii describes itself as an approved global vendor network partner for major international hotel chains, meeting required compliance, safety certification and insurance thresholds. Its wider services include tile and grout extraction, marble polishing, vinyl composition tile strip and wax systems, and commercial kitchen sanitization.
Owner Matthew Mullins said the programs are focused on "extending the physical lifecycle of the textile" so Oahu property owners can maximize their capital investments.
