The Luxury Collection's $218 Advent Calendar Tours 24 Destinations

BETHESDA, Md. – November 03, 2026 -- The Luxury Collection has launched a limited-edition advent calendar for $218, with 24 drawers that each hold a chocolate inspired by one of the brand's hotel destinations.

Artist, designer and the brand's Epicurean Global Explorer Laila Gohar created the calendar. Joana Avillez illustrated it, and Casa Bosques made the chocolates.

Each drawer opens onto a different destination flavor

The calendar takes the form of a fantastical grand hotel-inspired façade, animated by playful scenes of travel, gathering and celebration. Casa Bosques founder Rafael Prieto developed the 24 flavors with culinarians from The Luxury Collection hotels, drawing on local ingredients and regional traditions.

The lineup includes:

  • Saffron inspired by Dubai
  • Black sesame from Kyoto
  • Toasted coconut reminiscent of South Caicos
  • Banana and sea salt evoking Waikiki
  • Hazelnut praline inspired by Paris
  • Smoked mesquite reflecting Los Cabos

The project is tied to the brand's World In Season platform, which highlights the seasonal traditions, flavors and celebrations of its destinations.

Pop-up chocolateries open at four hotels

Gohar also designed retail pop-ups inspired by old-world Parisian chocolate shops and Milanese apothecaries. She conceived them as a “chocolaterie in miniature,” with display windows and banks of drawers. At Prince de Galles, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Paris, artist and set designer Alix Bortoli created the vitrines. She turned the chocolates' raw materials into a festive landscape.

The pop-ups run throughout the festive season at these hotels:

  • Prince de Galles, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Paris: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nashville: 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Solaz, a Luxury Collection Resort, Los Cabos: 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort, Singapore: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Select hotels will also host festive programming, including seasonal versions of the brand's signature Epicurean Moment and design-led experiences inspired by the collaboration.

Where to buy the calendar

Buyers in the United States can order through The Luxury Collection Boutique. Gohar World sells it in select countries internationally, and select hotel pop-ups stock it as well.

Bruce Rohr, Vice President and Global Brand Leader of The Luxury Collection, said Gohar can translate each hotel's sense of place through food and design.
