PHOENIX – November 03, 2026 -- University of Phoenix is launching an accelerated pathway for its online Bachelor of Science in Business that lets eligible students finish in as little as three years and potentially save up to $14,000 in typical tuition and fees. The pathway comes from an educational alliance with Study.com and is open to eligible students who begin their first or next course between November 2, 2026, and April 30, 2027.
Students earn one free Study.com course for every three Phoenix courses
After successfully completing every three University of Phoenix courses, a student becomes eligible for one designated Study.com elective course at no additional cost. The cap is 10 Study.com courses, or the number needed to fill the student's remaining eligible electives, whichever is lower.
Study.com courses run concurrently with regular University of Phoenix classes, and each must be completed within 90 days of the eligibility notification. Completed credits count toward remaining elective requirements in the degree.
The pathway has conditions and no guarantee of all 10 courses
Students must stay continuously enrolled and keep passing their University of Phoenix coursework. Access to all 10 courses is not guaranteed, because it depends on continued eligibility, remaining degree requirements and whether the pathway stays available. If it is discontinued, students can still finish Study.com courses already activated within their 90-day windows. Actual savings and completion times vary by student, transfer credits and elective choices.
Krista Schaub, Senior Director of University Partnerships at Study.com, said, "Momentum and cost are extremely important for adult learners."
New students also get a fixed per-course price from November 2
The university's Locked-In Pricing Guarantee takes effect November 2, 2026. It gives new students one fixed per-course price, covering tuition and resource fees, for the length of their enrolled program.
Who qualifies for the accelerated pathway
The pathway is open to qualifying new students, alumni, and returning students who have been out of attendance for more than 365 days. Participants must:
- meet admissions requirements;
- enroll in the eligible Bachelor of Science in Business program;
- register for and post attendance in a University of Phoenix course that starts between November 2, 2026, and April 30, 2027.
Students who add a certificate or an Associate of Arts degree are not eligible.
The degree is a 120-credit program accredited by ACBSP
The online Bachelor of Science in Business covers management, leadership, communications, finance, marketing and business operations. It is offered through the College of Business and Information Technology and accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. In a student end-of-course survey, 88.5% of surveyed students in the program agreed or strongly agreed they earned skills they could use right away. More than 292,000 students have earned the degree from University of Phoenix.
