Celerant Embeds Worldpay Finance Tools in Retail Software 2.9

Iselin, N.J. – November 03, 2026 -- Celerant Technology is adding three Worldpay-powered finance tools (Working Capital, Fee Assist and Disputes Defender) to the retailer dashboard in Version 2.9 of Stratus Enterprise and Cumulus Retail, at no added cost to users.

Working Capital delivers pre-approved financing offers with funds in as little as one business day

Eligible retailers processing payments through Worldpay will see pre-approved financing offers directly in their Celerant dashboard. The application takes minutes to complete, and approved funds can be available in as little as one business day.

Fee Assist and Disputes Defender target processing costs and dispute workload

Fee Assist lets eligible retailers offset credit card processing costs through a managed surcharge program designed to help ensure compliance with card network rules. It requires no separate integration.

Disputes Defender gives retailers dedicated support for payment disputes with no upfront cost. A service fee applies only when a dispute is resolved in the retailer's favor.

Rollout requires no new setup, logins or processing changes

The three features sit in a single embedded widget, white-labeled with Celerant's branding and powered by Worldpay's embedded finance engine. Use is optional, and retailers can opt out. Access is tied to each retailer's existing Worldpay processing relationship, and eligibility questions go to the Celerant account representative. Celerant's implementation and support teams remain available during the rollout.

Michele Salerno, Chief Growth Officer at Celerant, said Version 2.9 is built to "go beyond point of sale (POS) and inventory." Katie Childs, Implementation Project Manager for Embedded Finance and Working Capital at Worldpay, said building the tools into Celerant's platform spares retailers an extra login or system.

Celerant and Worldpay plan to share retailer outcomes and expand the toolset as adoption grows.
