Online College Campus Adds a Creator Economy Marketing Degree Track

NEW YORK – November 03, 2026 -- Online two-year college Campus has launched a Digital Marketing and the Creator Economy concentration within its Associate of Arts in Business Administration, with the concentration starting in January 2027.

The track prepares students for entry-level roles in digital marketing, brand strategy, and content-driven business functions. Graduates can also transfer into related bachelor's degree programs.

Five courses end in a choice of two capstones

The concentration consists of five courses woven into the standard business course sequence. Students build knowledge in brand strategy, platform dynamics, and marketing analytics. They finish with a capstone in either creator-brand strategy and content or marketing analytics.

Students also learn to use AI for ideation, production, research, and workflow, without treating it as a replacement for originality and creative judgment. Along the way, they assemble a portfolio showing how they research audiences, develop brands, create content, plan campaigns, and use performance data to improve their work.

Program Director Todd Fitch says marketing is now a technical job

Fitch says brands "increasingly operate like media companies" that build audiences through content. He adds that the work has also become technical, so students pair original ideas with analytical and production skills.

Goldman Sachs and LinkedIn data frame the job market

Goldman Sachs Research projects the creator economy's total addressable market could roughly double from $250 billion to $480 billion by 2027, driven largely by brand investment in influencer marketing and platform advertising. LinkedIn's 2026 analysis of the fastest-growing marketing skills ranks performance analysis and AI literacy as the top two capabilities employers are hiring for. Campus says both are taught in the new program.

A creator with 1 million followers joins as visiting professor

Timm Chiusano, a former advertising executive at ABC, ESPN, and Spectrum, has joined Campus as a visiting professor and helped shape the curriculum. He is now a full-time creator with more than 1 million followers, and his viral content offers practical, motivational advice for Gen Z. He will give guest lectures when the concentration launches.

Live online classes come with advisors and tutoring

Campus delivers live, online classes taught by faculty who also teach at colleges such as UCLA, Stanford, and Howard. Students get dedicated advisors, on-demand tutoring, and personalized coaching. After completing the program, they can enter the workforce or transfer to one of a growing number of four-year partner institutions.
