Munich – November 03, 2026 -- LOBERON's pop-up stores in Munich and Hamburg are open until the end of January 2027, and both launched with grand opening events featuring designer Guido Maria Kretschmer and his joint home collection with the brand.
Munich store covers 477 square meters at Viktualienmarkt
The Munich pop-up at Viktualienmarkt 6 opened on October 1, 2026, and runs until January 30, 2027. Under the motto "The Home of Joy & Light," it combines room concepts, personal advice and a shopping experience across 477 m2. A large ribbon greets visitors at the entrance.
About 150 guests attended the grand opening on October 16, 2026. The day began with a "Coming Home" breakfast featuring ribbon cupcakes and a homemade-style brunch, with a barista serving coffee. A LOBERON garden house stood at the center of the store, where guests captured their own coming-home moment on cards and photos. Fabric napkins could be embroidered with initials on site.
Kretschmer joins a living-room talk on what makes a home
The morning highlight was a living-room conversation with Kretschmer, Susanne Töpfer and Christian Bühring, moderated by Vanessa Meisinger. The talk centered on what makes a home special and how to create rooms where people feel comfortable, with the Kretschmer x LOBERON collection in focus. Guests could ask questions.
Bühring, managing director of LOBERON GmbH, studied in Munich and held his first job as a branch manager steps from the new store. He described the opening as a personal homecoming and said the company finally dared to take this challenging step after long deliberation. Kretschmer said a home is the mirror of our soul.
In the afternoon, ELLE invited its readers to a second program with another living-room talk, remarks from the editorial team and a photo slot with Kretschmer, including autographs.
Hamburg opens with 140 guests on Mönckebergstraße
On October 30, 2026, LOBERON held the Hamburg grand opening at Mönckebergstraße 19, in cooperation with InStyle. The store covers 255 m2 and welcomed 140 guests from influencer circles, partnerships and the press. It has been open since October 1, 2026, and stays open until the end of January 2027.
The program mirrored Munich: a living-room talk with Kretschmer, Töpfer and Bühring, macarons in LOBERON branding, ribbon muffins, a barista and napkin embroidery.
The Hamburg event ended with a meet and greet with Kretschmer, announced on social media with no registration required. The first 50 guests received a photo with him and an autograph.
