Hamburg – November 03, 2026 -- Homeowners in Germany can get up to €2,000 off a Vattenfall solar system or heat pump through Tchibo. From November 3, 2026, the retailer's online shop lists photovoltaic systems and heat pumps from Vattenfall Next Energy GmbH.
Tchibo customers get €1,500 or €2,000 off
The discount is €1,500 if you pay in installments and €2,000 if you buy outright. It applies only once, even if you buy both a solar system and a heat pump.
Shoppers are sent to Vattenfall to request a quote
Interested customers click through from the Tchibo online shop to Vattenfall's sales page and submit a quote request. Vattenfall then offers personal advice on site or online, checks which funding programs apply and helps with the applications. Selected regional trade companies, usually Vattenfall contract partners, carry out the installation.
The offer covers single-family and two-family houses, row houses and semi-detached houses. Vattenfall checks individually which buildings qualify. The deal is not tied to a Vattenfall electricity supply contract. Those who decide early can still apply for funding this year.
Heat pumps come from Vaillant and Bosch
Vattenfall uses air-to-water heat pumps from Vaillant and Bosch, and all models are fully eligible for funding. According to the manufacturers, the units reach energy efficiency classes up to A+++. They can be controlled by app, are designed for smart power grids and have a noise-reduced night mode.
Private owners installing a heat pump in an existing home can apply to the KfW for a grant under the federal subsidy for efficient buildings. According to the KfW, the grant currently covers between 30 and 80 percent of eligible costs.
Solar modules are planned for each home
The photovoltaic systems use modules from Solar Fabrik or equivalent manufacturers, described as having high efficiency and long service life. Each system is planned individually for the customer's home.
Tchibo's head of cooperations, Robert Pauly, says the partnership gives customers advice, funding support and installation from a single provider, plus a concrete price advantage. Orkan Cakir, head of B2C Solutions at Vattenfall Next Energy, says every home is different and the company works with customers to find the right energy solution for each one.
Germany's Federal Statistical Office reports nearly 4.8 million photovoltaic systems at the end of 2025, with a total output of about 106,200 megawatts. That is 17.6 percent more systems and 11.8 percent more capacity than a year earlier.
