Dallas and Fort Worth – November 03, 2026 -- The oneworld alliance's branded lounge at Seoul Incheon International Airport has been named "Asia's Leading Airline Lounge - Business Class" at the World Travel Awards for a second consecutive year. The lounge receives 150,000 guests annually.

World Travel Awards select winners through a vote of professionals and travellers

Established in 1993, the World Travel Awards cover the travel and hospitality sectors. Winners are chosen in a voting process that includes both travel professionals and travellers.

Gerhard Girkinger, oneworld's vice president of Customer Experience & Airports, attributed the result to consistent service quality for the lounge's annual visitors.

Aspire Pre-Flight Hospitality runs the 555-square-metre lounge

Seoul Incheon was the first oneworld-branded lounge and opened in January 2024. Aspire Pre-Flight Hospitality manages its operation. David Collyer, Aspire's Global Senior Vice President, credited the on-site team at Seoul Incheon.

The lounge has seasonally rotating menus and design elements drawn from South Korea. These include a bar influenced by the traditional 'Gat' hat and glass art evoking the Lantern Festival. Separate zones let guests dine, work, recharge or relax.

Access is open to eligible oneworld Emerald and Sapphire customers, plus First and Business Class customers.

Aspire expands to 110 lounges, with six openings in 2026

Aspire, part of Swissport International AG, welcomes more than six million guests a year across its lounges. As of mid-2026 it had 110 lounges open or scheduled to open worldwide. Its 2026 openings include Stockholm, Geneva, Marrakesh, Calgary, Manchester and Vilnius.

Seven oneworld member airlines serve Seoul Incheon: Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Malaysia Airlines, Qatar Airways and SriLankan Airlines.
